Abstract

This research describes the error concept of light profile in grade V students of SD N Srondol Wetan 02. The error concept made by the students need to be analyzed further in order to get a clear and detailed description of the students' weaknesses in understanding the concept of light and used as a consideration of learning in the business improve the quality of the learning process. Subjects amounted to four students who error concept. Data collection techniques use documentation, tests, observations, and interviews. Analysis of qualitative data through three stages of data reduction, presenting data, and concluding. The results showed: (1) KP-1 students have low sample indicator but KP-2 students actually have good example indicator; 2) errors concepts occur in the concept of light sources, light-permeable objects, light refraction, light of light degradation, and objects utilizing the nature of light; (3) the factors causing error concept of students' are student only learning only the IPA textbook from the school and the notebook from the teacher, the student assumes that all the concepts derived from experience and natural phenomena are true without re-examining the correct theory, reasoning, incomplete and inaccurate reading of textbooks or problems of understanding, as well as the limitations of language in understanding the concept of light.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the application of the problem-based learning approach to improve the mathematics problem solving skills of the fifth grade students of SDN Susukan 04. The research was conducted at SDN Susukan 04. The method used in this study was the Plomp development model which consisted of three stages: (1) Preliminary Research; (2) Prototyping Phase; (3) Assessment Phase. The subjects in this study were students of class V SDN Susukan 04. The type of data in this study was quantitative. This quantitative data was obtained from the validation result score, the score of 10 students on the observation sheet and the learning material mastery test (TPBA) score. The validation phase of teaching materials developed with the Problem-based Learning approach and validation of the problem-solving ability test. Seeing what happened to students, it was necessary to strive the development of the teaching materials to improve problem-solving abilities in learning Mathematics with the Problem-based Learning approach, as the importance of solving abilities learning problems in teaching success. The test for the difference in the problem-solving ability test of the experimental  class and the control class could be seen from the mean of the experimental class = 78.70> the mean of the control class = 64.76. So it can be concluded that the average problem-solving ability of the experimental class students were higher than the problem solving ability of control class students .

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the planting of environmental care through hydroponic programs. This type of research is qualitative research with purposive sampling technique. The research subjects were students in grade V SDN Susukan 04 East Ungaran Semarang Regency. Data collection techniques through FGD, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument used was a draft FGD, questionnaire sheets, interview guides, and documentation archives. Technique validity of data through source triangulation and technique triangulation. Students carry out the hydroponic program with a floating raft system through the axis technique. The planting of an environmental care attitude is carried out through several stages of the hydroponic program, namely the stages of sowing, seedling, growth/enlarging and harvesting. The results showed that the most dominant environmental care attitude of students was nurturing plants, while the weakest environmental care attitude of students was developing a comfortable environment. The environmental care attitude that has been embedded in elementary school students is the interest in planting and caring for plants, conserving energy by using water as needed, throwing trash into the trash, and recycling used goods.

Abstract

The purpose of the community service program is to provide online learning model training in mathematics subjects using the numeracy snake and ladder game application at SDN Susukan 04. This community service utilizes Android as a learning medium in elementary mathematics numeracy with the aim of honing students' numeracy literacy. The data from this service were obtained through interviews with the homeroom teacher who became the main source, observations in the form of passive participation observations and documentation as supporting data from the results of the interviews. The results of the service show that teachers have used ultanum media as a learning medium in supporting online learning activities for mathematics subjects to be able to hone students' numeracy literacy. The implementation of the use of ultanum media as a learning medium has several obstacles, namely signal interference, the level of mathematical literacy is still at levels 1-3, but the benefits obtained from this service include being able to hone the ability of teachers to develop numeracy skills at levels 1-3, problem solving skill in doing mathematics learning with ultanum games and honing their skills in numeracy literacy.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di SMA/SMK/MA ditujukan untuk mensosialisasikan pemanfaatan e-book kepada siswa kelas XII. E-book sebagai sumber belajar mandiri sehingga siswa mampu memperdalam materi secara mandiri apabila terjadi kekurangan jumlah tatap muka yang dilakukan guru dan siswa tidak memiliki buku cetak mata pelajaran yang lengkap.Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah presentasi, brainstorming, dan sharing tentang e-book kepada siswa kelas XII pada jenjang pendidikan sekolah menengah atas. Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan melalui sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan monitoring dan evaluasi.Pelaksanaan PkM pemanfaatan e-book kepada siswa kelas XII SMA N 1 Pabelan dan SMK Kanaan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap e-book yang ditandai dengan persentase indikator ketercapaian memahami e-book (93%), mengunduh e-book (51%), dan menggunakan e-book (80%). Tanggapan positif dari siswa kelas XII SMA N 1 Pabelan dan SMK Kanaan terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini tergolong sangat baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari indikator kehadiran peserta PkM mencapai 98% dari target dan selama kegiatan berlangsung peserta sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan dari awal sampai akhir kegiatan.

Abstract

This community service aims to make students able to do health literacy using media likes. The results of this training are that media likes can increase students 'understanding of health literacy by an average of 92.17%, namely students' understanding of health literacy increased by 35.87% (originally 64.13% to 100%), student empowerment in sorting information health increased by 36.74% (originally 46.75% to 83.49%), students' understanding of media likes increased by 56.24% (from 37.52 to 93.76%) and the use of media likes increased by 55.53% (from 35.91 to 91.44%). Media likes contain tips and tricks for doing health literacy, so they can sort out the right information. The results of the health literacy training activities can be said to be successful in the excellent category. Increased knowledge for training participants about health awareness, as well as sorting out health information circulating in the community.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Buzz Group discussion method on improving the collaboration ability of elementary school students. The research design was a quasi experiment, non equivalent control group design. The sample was taken by purposive sampling and obtained class V SD Negeri Muncar 01 as the experimental class and SD Negeri Muncar 02 as the control class. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample T-test, simple linear regression test, and paired sample T-test. The results showed: 1) There were differences in the use of the large group method and the buzz group discussion, this was evidenced by the independent sample T-test with a significance level of <0.05, namely 0.00 <0.05, 2) There was an influence on the use of the buzz discussion method. groups towards increasing the ability of student cooperation, this is evidenced by a simple linear regression test with a significance level of <0.05, namely 0.44 <0.05, and 3) There is an increase in students' cooperation abilities, this is evidenced by the paired sample T-test. Test with a significance level of <0.05, namely 0.00 <0.05 after using the buzz group discussion method. Keywords: Buzz group discussion, cooperation skills

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the TGT model with the help of snakes and ladders media for understanding student concepts in science class 4 at SDN Bakalrejo 01. The design of this study was experimental. The population in this study were students of SDN Bakalrejo 01, the samples in this study were students in grades 4A and 4B. The data analysis techniques in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, independent t-test, and simple linear regression test. The results showed: 1) There were differences in understanding of the concepts of 4th grade students at SDN Bakalrejo 01 after using the TGT model with the help of snake and ladder media in science lessons, which was proven by a significance value of 0.008 <0.05. 2) There is an effect of the TGT model assisted by the snake and ladder media on the understanding of the concepts of the 4th grade students of SDN Bakalrejo 01 in science lessons as evidenced by the significance value of 0.032 <0.05. science lessons.

Abstract

Mahasiswa merupakan civitas akademika yang memiliki peran dalam mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah. Akan tetapi, mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Ngudi Waluyo (UNW) Kabupaten Semarang masih rendah publikasi ilmiah di jurnal nasional. Oleh karena itu, tim pelaksana PkM melakukan pendampingan penulisan artikel ilmiah hingga menghasilkan draft artikel ilmiah yang siap dipublikasikan di jurnal nasional. Sasaran PkM adalah mahasiswa PGSD UNW rombel A angkatan 2017, 2018, dan 2019 yang berjumlah 70 orang.  Metode yang digunakan adalah coachng clinic melalui tahapan persiapan, knowledge sharing, pendampingan, dan monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil PkM ini menunjukkan pemahaman sistematika penulisan artikel ilmiah yang telah dimiliki oleh mahasiswa PGSD sebesar 93% dengan kategori sangat baik, seluruh mahasiswa PGSD telah menjadi partisipan dalam seminar penulisan artikel ilmiah dengan kategori sangat baik, kemampuan menyusun artikel ilmiah mahasiswa juga meningkat menjadi 83% dengan kategori baik; dan mahasiswa berkeinginan mempublilkasikan artikel ilmiah meningkat menjadi 86% dengan kategori baik. Faktor yang mempengaruhi penulisan artikel ilmiah mahasiswa adalah faktor motivasi menulis dan keinginan publikasi artikel ilmiah diterbitkan di jurnal nasional terindeks sinta serta faktor kompetensi menuangkan gagasan dalam artikel ilmiah dan pemahaman tentang tata tulis artikel ilmiah untuk dipublikasikan.

Abstract

The SETS vision dakon game is a form of traditional game combined with a learning process by linking science, environment, technology, and society. With the SETS vision dakon game, it is hoped that teachers will be able to instill character values ​​during distance learning because this game can be done at home. The method used is community development through the following stages: 1) preparation; 2) introduction; 3) implementation; 4) monitoring; and 5) evaluation. The results of this PkM show that the character values ​​that have been embedded in the sixth grade students of SDN Susukan are 1) honest as much as 90.9% in the very good category, 2) intelligent as much as 63.6% in the good category, 3) fair as much as 77, 2% in good category, 4) cooperation as much as 86.3% in very good category, 5) firm as much as 68.1% in good category, 6) imagination as much as 59% with good enough category, 7) ambitious as much as 100% with very good category, 8) brave as much as 81.8% with very good category, and 9) attention as much as 86.3% with very good category.
