Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the use of information technology in management systems in tertiary institutions in Indonesia which are still not maximally and evenly utilized both in terms of equipment and management. This research is an international journal study. The results of input resource research include visualizer / document camera, computer, whiteboard, student response system, and application program. Output resources include projectors, interactive whiteboards, and displays: monitors, televisions and more. Finally, other ICT equipment includes digital cameras, switchers, digital recorders, and other innovations. Conclusions, discussion of solutions to overcome obstacles in the form of uneven infrastructure that supports the application of this technology in education and the unpreparedness of human resources to utilize information and communication technology in the learning process. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how to evaluate the process of literacy education programs from the perspective of the discrepancy evaluation model. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that there are gaps in the aspects of the program process which have three gaps including the preparation of learning tools (syllabus and lesson plans), improvement of reading culture, assessment of learning processes and assessment of final results. The achievements and impacts of the basic literacy education program have not been maximal in meeting basic literacy education program standards. In conclusion, the program analyzed its gaps and provided problem solving in every aspect based on the stage of the discrepancy evaluation model. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of discipline and self-leadership on the performance of the Directorate of Shipping and Maritime employees. The research method used in this study is a survey with the type of correlational research. The results showed the value of the correlation coefficient between leadership style and employee performance amounted to 0.613, leadership style can contribute to improving employee performance that is 37.5%. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient between work discipline and employee performance is 0.710, meaning that work discipline also contributes high enough to improve employee performance by 50.4%. Furthermore, the results of correlation and multiple regression of leadership style, and work discipline together with employee performance obtained a large correlation coefficient of 0.759 or 57.6%. In conclusion, the three independent variables are leadership style (X1), and work discipline (X2), which are variables that need attention. In other words, that the three independent variables are leadership style (X1), and work discipline (X2) are variables that are effective enough to improve employee performance. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find a picture of how the condition of the school organization during the pandemic, from the scope of individuals, social groups, relationships between organizations, relationships between institutions, and policies. The subjects of this study are literature, literature sources that discuss pandemics, conditions, individual attitudes in school organizations, relationships with social groups, communities, institutions and policies. The results of this study explain that in order for schools to continue to achieve educational goals with good quality, the integration of functions between school principals, teachers, and all school resources, groups of educators and education staff organizations, between organizations, institutions in society, and policies must work. in harmony. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the efforts of the head of madrasah to improve the existence of Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIS) 01 Kepahiang. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods, data collection through techniques, interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the efforts made by the head of madrasah were through improving madrasah management so that managing madrasahs went better. To carry out this effort involves all components in the madrasah so that the efforts of the head of the madrasah can be carried out properly. The head of madrasah receives positive support from teachers and the community so that they can develop the existence of the madrasah. The internal supporting factor for the condition of the madrasah is comfort to work so that activities can run well. Then externally the community supports the learning activities. The obstacle is the lack of optimal madrasah activity time, making it difficult to implement management to improve the existence of an effective and efficient madrasah. Abstract

This study aims to determine the Musyrif strategy applied in the formation of leadership and independence character in SMA Insan Cendekia Mandiri Boarding School (ICMBS), Sidoarjo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, data obtained through observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. Sources of data in this study were obtained through interviews on January 29 - February 7 2020 together with the Supervisior of the High School Dormitory, Musyrif, and board of the Santri Boarding Organization and SMA ICMBS Alumni as supporting data. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that in character building, the musyrif strategy is divided into two, namely (a) internal strategy includes six stages - planning, introduction, implementation, supervision, reward and punishment, and evaluation, and (b) external strategies namely introduction, supervision, and integrated evaluation through active communication with guardian parents in both formal and informal forms. So, it can be concluded that the musyrif strategy is very effective in shaping the character of leadership and student independence. Abstract

The research aims to analyse the influence of competence and work discipline on the work performance of the staff at the Youth and Sports Education office in Sikka district. The study used a sample of 57 employees as respondents. The type of research used is quantitative research. While the method used is sampling saturation. The results showed that multiple linear regression equations in the study were known that Y = 6.306 + 0.076 X1 + 0.696 X2 where competence (X1), did not have a partial effect on employee work performance (Y). Meanwhile, the working discipline partially affects the employee's work performance (Y) and competency variables (X1) and work discipline (X2) simultaneously influence the work performance of the staff (Y) of the Youth and Sports Education Office of Sikka District. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the knowledge creation process and the obstacles faced by the Ministry of Manpower's Employee Training and Education Center in terms of the SECI Nonaka approach. The research was conducted using a qualitative method, using analysis of literature studies on journals, books, and news about knowledge creation analysis, especially related to education and training institutions. The results of the analysis obtained three model approaches that can be used as a reference in analyzing the knowledge creation process. The first model is Soo's knowledge creation model, the second model is the Boisot model, and the third model is the SECI Nonaka model which emphasizes the creation of new knowledge in the organization through the conversion of tacit and explicit knowledge with the dimensions of Socialization, Externalization, Combination and Internalization. In conclusion, education and training require an appropriate learning model to determine potential participants who need to take part in the training, what materials and skills are needed, determine which instructors will provide training material, manage in-class learning mechanisms, and lesson plans. Therefore, the authors present three model approaches that can be used as a reference in analyzing the knowledge creation process. Keywords: Knowledge Creation, Education and Training, Labor

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the evaluation of the headmaster in improving the professionalism of MAS Al-Manshuriyah teachers. This research is a type of qualitative research consisting of research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or oral data from people and published. The form of the research is descriptive, that is the research conducted only to describe the state or status of a particular phenomenon. The results of the study, evaluation of the principal's policy in increasing the professionalism of teachers in carrying out their important tasks, appropriate policy considerations, will have an impact on improving the quality of teachers in carrying out their duties properly, but if the policies made are less precise, it will have an impact on improving the quality of teachers in carry out their duties properly. Conclusion, the principal's policy in increasing professional teachers in carrying out their duties went well, but there are some things that need to be updated, as well as policies that can be carried out properly, namely giving appropriate approval, the role of school supervisors and deliberations in relation to changes policies in improving teacher professionalism in carrying out their main tasks and functions properly Keywords: Policy Evaluation, Professionalism

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of madrasah head supervision and teacher work motivation to teacher performance. This research uses quantitative methods, with data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation and interviews, then data analysis techniques using correlational. The results of the study, the correlation coefficient between the supervision activity variable (X1) with the performance variable (Y) is 0.501 and the correlation coefficient between the motivation variable (X2) and the performance variable (Y) is 0.493, each greater than the value of r table in n 38 which is 0.325. Thus the three variables are positively correlated. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the contribution of madrasah head supervision and teacher work motivation on teacher teaching performance.
