Abstract

Objectives: this research was conducted to look at the relationship between school and school - both in high school students.Method: this research is a quantitative study involving subjects consisting of 134 high school students based on the calculation of the application G * Power version 3.1.9.2. Data retrieval is done by connecting two scales, namely the scale of school connectivity and school scale using the accidental sampling method. Test data analysis in this study using Pearson product moment.Findings: There was positive relationship between  school connectedness and school wellbeing variables in the Middle School students is significan (r = 0.77, p = 0.00) t. The results of this study have a positive value. Where there is a positive relationship between variables, the higher the level of student school connection to the school, the higher the school level will be, and vice versa.Conclusions: dimensions of school connectedness related to school wellbeing are related and liked by students, communication and liked by teachers. But belonging does not have an influence on school wellbeing in high school students. The dimension of school connectednes which has the greatest effect size is liked by the teachers then communication and the last is connected and liked by students.

Abstract

Objectives: Anxiety in sports is one of the factors that affect athlete performance when facing a match. Anxiety that arises not only consists of cognitive components, but also involves physiological or somatic components. This study aims to examine the effect of guide imagery and music (GIM) interventions in overcoming competitive anxiety in athletes before competing.Method: The subjects consisted of three experimental groups and one control group of futsal athletes. The questionnaire used was a competitive Anxiety scale that was compiled by the researcher himself for data collection. The research design used was quasi-experimental with non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Data analysis used non-parametric analysis, namely the Wilcoxon, Kruskal-Wallis and Mann Whitney Tests.Findings: The results showed the Guide Imagery and music intervention was effective in reducing athletes' competitive anxiety. This result can be seen from the decrease in competitive anxiety scores in the experimental group during the pre-test and post-test. In addition, there was a significant difference in competitive anxiety when a different test was performed with the Mann Whitnney Test between the experimental group and the control group.Conclusions: Guide Imagery and music therapy can be used to reduce competitive anxiety in athletes before a match.

Abstract

Objectives: An unwanted pregnancy due to sexual abuse feels so heavy for a woman so that it needs the ability to rise from adversity called resilience. Resilient individuals are able to deal with pressures in their lives and try to deal with stress through coping strategies, which is to forgive. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in resilience in women survivors of sexual abuse who experienced an unwanted pregnancy through forgiveness therapy.Method: This research uses quasi-experimental method with A-B reversal design. Subjects were 3 survivors of sexual abuse who experienced an unwanted pregnancy with low or moderate resilience based on the CYRM-28 scale categorization. Data were analyzed by Wilcoxon visual analysis and nonparametric analysis.Findings: The results of visual analysis showed an increase in resilience, while the results of the nonparametric analysis showed a non-significant difference in resilience (0.109> 0.05) between before and after the intervention was given. Even so, measurement of effect size shows that forgiveness therapy has a big effect (0.926> 0.8) to increase the resilience of survivors of sexual abuse who experienced an unwanted pregnancy.Conclusions: the research hypothesis was rejected.It means there was no effect of the application of forgiveness therapy to increase resilience in women survivors of sexual harassment who experienced an unwanted pregnancy.

Abstract

Objectives: bullying is a serious problem which affected children negatively. The aim of this study was to explore predictor of bullying in elementary students in Kota Bandung. This is very crucial to know factors which contribute bullying cases in elementary students. By knowing predictors of bullying, we will be able to prevent bullying cases rising in children.Method: samples were 809 elementary students in Kota Bandung which chosen by stratified cluster random sampling from 11 elementary schools. There were 47.6% girls and 52.4% boysFindings: personal belief which support aggression was a predictor of physical, verbal, and psychological bullying. Conclusions: Father who rejected children was a predictor of physical bullying, while mother who rejected children was a predictor of psychological bullying. Unavailability of the father contributed twice bigger in the probability of the children being bullied.

Abstract

Objectives: Social loafing is a phenomenon of decreased performance (efforts / efforts) of individuals in the work of group-based tasks, which of course will have an impact on performance and group satisfaction. This study aimed to determine the effect of locus of control, both internally and externally on social loafing in group task completion.Method: This study uses a quantitative approach. Sampling using non-probability sampling with accidental sampling technique in the population of students majoring in education (prospective teachers), with a total number of participants as many as 147 students (45 tryout scale, 102 hypothesis testing). The measurement of each variable modifies the scale construct of previous research, which refers to Levenson for locus of control and Latane for social loafing. Then analyzed using a linear regression test.Findings: Internal locus of control in this study proved to be able to reduce social loafing (sig. 0,000), with R Square value (influence contribution) in the determination coefficient table of 0.211 or 21.1%, while external locus of control did not contribute to the effect at all.Conclusions: Internal locus of control is proven to reduce the tendency of social loafing in students, while external locus of control does not contribute to the influence at all, it does not even correlate with social loafing.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian psikoedukasi singkat mengenai mindfulness terhadap kemampuan regulasi emosi pada mahasiswa baru Universitas Diponegoro. Transisi menuju kehidupan perkuliahan adalah masa yang penuh tekanan. Sehingga diperlukan keterampilan psikologis untuk beradaptasi dengan baik. Salah satunya adalah regulasi emosi. Sebanyak 5 partisipan termasuk 2 laki-laki dan 3 perempuan mahasiswa baru dari beberapa fakultas di lingkungan Universitas Diponegoro direkrut dan diberikan edukasi mengenai mindfulness selama 1 minggu. Penelitian ini  menggunakan desain satu kelompok pretest dan posttest, dengan menggunakan dua skala untuk mengukur perubahan dalam regulasi emosi dan kesadaran. Uji wilcoxon signed rank  dan statistik deskriptif digunakan untuk mengevaluasi efek perlakuan yang diberikan. Analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan signifikan di antara kemampuan regulasi emoi (p=0,0025) dan kesadaran (p=0,680). Tetapi perbandingan rata-rata menunjukkan adanya sedikit peningkatan. Implikasi dari temuan ini akan didiskusikan.Kata kunci: adaptasi, mahasiswa baru, mindfulness, regulasi emosi Abstract. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of brief mindfulness psychological education to emotional regulation skill of first-year student of Diponegoro University. Transition to university life is a stressful period. Therefore, in order to successfully adapt, there are some psychological skills that need to be developed. One of them is emotional regulation. This study is a quasi-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. Five participant included 2 male and 3 female of first-year student from varieties of faculty at Diponegoro University were recruited and given the psychological education of mindfulness in one week span. Two scale were used to measure the changes in emotional regulation and mindful-state. Wilcoxon signed rank test and statistic descriptive were used to evaluate the effect. The statistical analysis revealed that there were no significant difference in both emotional regulation skills (p=0,225) and mindful-state (p=0,680). But, mean comparison suggested that there were slightly increase. The implication of this finding are discussed. Keyword: adaptation, emotional regulation, first-year university student, mindfulness

Abstract

Objectives: the purpose of this study was to study the relationship attitudes, subjective norms and perceptual controls related to religiosity, and product knowledge about the purpose of buying and helping Muslim consumers in buying halal cosmetic products.Method: the subject in this study was Muslim students aged 17-23 years who were studying at State Universities (PTN) in the Province of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. Data collection uses a closed questionnaire with a total of 275 respondents.Findings: the findings of this study indicate that religiosity, product knowledge, attitudes, subjective norms, and perception control have a positive and significant influence on consumers' intentions in buying halal cosmetic productsConclusions: it is expected to always pay attention and know the halal label and the content on the cosmetic products to be used,  so as to  avoid products that are not halal or have content that is prohibited by religion.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kedisiplinan memiliki peranan penting dalam membentuk pribadi yang taat pada aturan-aturan yang ada dan bertanggung jawab terhadap tugas yang harus dikerjakan. Kedisiplinan dapat meningkat, salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh kesadaran diri. Sehingga perlu adanya pengelolaan kesadaran pada diri untuk memahami, mengenali, mengakui, dan mengekspresikan diri secara akurat. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMK yang memiliki kategori tingkat kedisiplinan yang rendah. Keseluruhan subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 siswa, yang terbagi dalam 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Quasi Experimental Design dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling, dan dengan model desain eksperimen pre test-post test control group design. Uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Man Whitney U-Test dengan nilai z= -3.485 dan  sig (2 tailed)= 0,000 dimana (p<0,01), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan tingkat kedisiplinan yang signifikan antara kelompok yang diberikan pelatihan kesadaran diri dibandingkan dengan kelompok yang tidak diberikan pelatihan kesadaran diri.Kata kunci: Kedisiplinan, Pelatihan Kesadaran diri.Abstract. Discipline has an important role in managing individuals who obey the rules that exist and are responsible for the tasks that must be done. Discipline can increase, one of which is developed by self-awareness. Because it needs to be considered, awareness must be approved, approved, recognized, and approved. The subjects in this study were vocational students who had a low level of discipline category. All subjects in this study were 20 student experiments, which were divided into 2 groups: the experimental group and the control group. The research method used in this study were the Quasi Experimental Design method with a purposive sampling technique and the pre-test design model of the control group design. Hypothesis testing in this study use the Man Whitney U-Test technique with a value of z = -3,485 and sig (2 tailed) = 0,000 where (p <0.01), which on average contains a significant level of discipline compared to the group that is not given self-awareness training.Keywords: Discipline, Self Awareness Training

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pengaruh tekanan teman sebaya terhadap ketidakjujuran akademik yang dimoderasi kecemasan menghadapi ujian. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 255 mahasiswa yang diambil dengan teknik incidental sampling dari 3 perguruan tinggi di Malang. Instrumen penelitian adalah peer pressure scale, academic dishonesty scale, dan test anxiety inventory. Teknik analisis data adalah moderated multiple regression. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tekanan teman sebaya memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap ketidakjujuran akademik. Sementara itu kecemasan menghadapi ujian tidak memoderasi pengaruh tekanan teman sebaya terhadap ketidakjujuran akademik.Kata Kunci: Tekanan teman sebaya, ketidakjujuran akademik, kecemasan menghadapi ujianAbstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of peer pressure on academic dishonesty is moderated by test anxiety. Subject in this study amounted 255 student in Malang are scattered in three high school that are using incidental sampling technique. The instrument of this study using peer pressure scale, academic dishonesty scale, and test anxiety inventory. The result of this study indicated if there is significant effect of peer pressure to academic dishonesty. Abstract

Abstrak. Konstipasi merupakan masalah yang sering dijumpai pada anak-anak. Anak dengan masalah konstipasi seringkali merasa sakit pada saat buang air besar (BAB) sehingga berupaya untuk menghindari proses BAB di toilet. Hal ini berdampak terhadap kemampuan toilet training anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas program intervensi dengan teknik modifikasi perilaku antecedent control untuk meningkatkan frekuensi buang air besar di toilet pada anak dengan masalah konstipasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode single case subject A-B with follow-up design dengan partisipan penelitian adalah seorang anak perempuan berusia 3 tahun 4 bulan yang mengalami konstipasi.  Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 8 sesi dan berlangsung selama 40 menit setiap sesi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik antecedent control dapat meningkatkan frekuensi perilaku buang air besar di toilet pada anak dengan masalah konstipasi.Kata kunci: antecedent control, buang air besar, konstipasi, toilet training,Abstract. Constipation is common problem in children. Children who have constipation problems often feel pain during defecation, thus they are attempting to avoid the process of defecation in the toilet. It has an impact on the ability of children's toilet training. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of intervention programs through behavior modification techniques, antecedent control to increase the frequency of bowel movements in the toilet for children who have constipation problems. This study uses a single case subject AB with follow-up design which is a girl aged 3 years and 4 months who has constipation problems. This research was conducted in 8 sessions and lasted for 40 minutes each session. The result shows that antecedent control technique can increase the bowel movement for children who have constipation problems.Keywords: antecedent control, defecation, constipation, toilet training
