Abstract

Activities in hospitals have risks originating from physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, psychosocial, and waste factors. Qolbu Insan Mulia Hospital is a health service facility where sick and healthy people gather, which allows work-related accidents and occupational diseases to occur. The laboratory of Qolbu Insan Mulia Hospital is part of the medical support services, which provides hematology, serology, immunology, urine, blood chemistry, drugs, endocrinology, faces, blood transfusion, tumor marker, microbiology, and electrolyte testing services. This study aimed to determine K3 risk management using hazard identification risk assessment and risk control (HIRARC). This research is qualitative research. The techniques used in data collection were field observation, document review, and in-depth interviews. The research results show that in the laboratory there are 17 sources of potential danger consisting of physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, mechanical, electrical, psychosocial, and waste hazards. In conclusion based on a high-level risk level of 71%, medium 23%, and low 6%, while the control efforts are in the form of administration, manipulation, and PPE.

Abstract

Preschool education plays a crucial role in laying the foundation for children's development before entering formal education. Children need a conducive environment and appropriate teaching methods to acquire basic knowledge, skills, and understanding essential for their growth. Teachers at IGABA-Kindergarten Kuburaya play a central role in providing quality education to preschool children. In the digital era, information technology has become an integral part of daily life, including education. Canva, a graphic design and visual presentation application, has untapped potential for creating worksheets and learning materials for preschool children. Previously, IGABA Preschool Kuburaya faced challenges such as limited resources, inadequate digital skills among teachers, and low student engagement, which hindered effective learning processes. This study aims to train preschool teachers in Kuburaya to use Canva effectively in their teaching. The program, conducted from May to June 2023, included three main activities: Canva usage training, practical sessions, and evaluation. The training was attended by 30 preschool teachers. Participant satisfaction surveys showed high satisfaction levels: 95.7% found the material highly relevant to their needs, 95.7% found it easy to understand and apply, and 92.33% noted the material was presented clearly and systematically. Additionally, 86.67% felt the trainers were knowledgeable, 83.33% appreciated the opportunity for Q&A, and 90% found the trainers presented the material clearly and sequentially. Evaluation results indicated significant improvements in teachers' digital skills and the quality of the learning materials they produced. This program positively impacted preschool education in Kuburaya, enhancing teachers' competencies and creating more engaging learning environments for children

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is giving only breast milk for 6 months without additional food. Coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Bengkulu Province in 2021 (68%), Bengkulu City (61.86%) but coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is still low in the Kampung Bali Community Health Center, Bengkulu City (19.1%). Factors that influence the success of breastfeeding are breast morphology (putting). The aim of the research is to breast morphology (putting) that influence the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The research design used a cross sectional approach for mothers with babies aged 6-12 months totaling 54 samples using the Lameshow formula, data were taken using purposive sampling techniques, data were analyzed univariately, bivariately and multivariately using the chi-square statistical test and logistic regression. . The research results showed that most (68.5%) mothers did not breastfeed exclusively, mothers had normal nipple shapes. There is a relationship between the initiation of breast morphology (putting) p value 0.043. It is hoped that future researchers will use qualitative methods with interviews to better understand what are the factors in the success of exclusive breastfeeding

Abstract

Abstract : According to the World Health Organization (WHO) Since the end of December 2019, in Wuhan, People's Republic of China, an outbreak caused by one type of betacoronavirus has emerged. The government has made various efforts to prevent COVID-19, especially for pregnant women. One of them is vaccination.study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women in the third trimester to the behaviorof COVID-19 vaccination at the Telaga Dewa Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2021. This type of research is a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were pregnant women in the third trimester in the working area of ​​the TelagaDewa Health Center. The total population of pregnant women in the Telaga Dewa Health Center Work Area is 411 pregnant women in the third trimester, with sampling using the Lemeshow formula so that 78 respondents will be examined. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis using chi square. The results of the chi square showed a value of 0.033 (<0.05) meaning that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and vaccination behavior of pregnant women.test analysis chi square obtained a value of 0.010 (<0.05). From the results above, it is known that there is a significant relationship between attitudes and vaccination behavior of pregnant women. It is hoped that they can seek to increase knowledge about COVID-19 and vaccination both through the internet and take part in health education so that they can carry out vaccinations in order to reduce the risk of being infected with COVID-19.
