Abstract

This was a literary research about the contextualization of Islamic Law in Buton in the 19th Century. It proved a descriptive data about the paradigmatic basis used by Idrus Qaimuddin to re-actualize Islamic law in Buton. It utilized Von Eckartsberg’s phenomenological hermeneutic approach combined with Miles and Huberman’s analysis model. The study concluded that Idrus thought about mawaris was designed based on the Butonese needs and local character. It was product of Al-Qur’an constructed based on the spirit of reformation by prioritizing justice aspects to create social and cultural fairness. His attempt to re-interpret the mawaris verse showed his view on the text as something alive so that it needs a dialogue with condition and realities. Even though he did not explore much potentials of Islamic thurats which could enrich his views on mawaris, at least his thought proved that in the beginning of the 19th century, there was an Islamic scholar attempting to re-actualize Islamic teaching in this archipelago.

Abstract

Article 13 paragraph (1) of the Aceh Qanun Number 9 of 2008 on the Development of Customary and Indigenous Life discussing customary disputes mentions that ideally, the customary court can solve customary disputes. However, sometimes, it can not solve all cases and provide legal protection for all disputing parties. This study aims to explain the process of resolving private disputes through the customary court and providing legal protection for the parties. This type of research was empirical juridical with qualitative analysis. The results showed that a dispute resolution process could be done through two models. First is through customary judicature using formalized procedures by involving customary instruments. Second is using positive law indicator by not providing legal protection for the parties. Certain parties will typically file a lawsuit again after getting the customary court's decision. This research suggests collaboration among the Government, the Police, and the Customary Assembly in consistently promoting the customary court and improving the quality of customary instruments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa di SD N 2 Clapar Banjarnegara dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran lingkungan dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SD N 2 Clapar Banjarnegara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara terstruktur yang mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknis analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada 2 faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa yang terdiri dari faktor internal dan ekternal. Faktor internal meliputi faktor psikologis, sedangkan faktor ekternal yaitu faktor sosial meliputi teman sebaya, orang tua dan lingkungan rumah. Lingkungan yang berperan dalam motivasi belajar siswa terdiri dari lingkungan keluarga, masyarakat dan sekolah. Lingkungan keluarga meliputi perhatian dan komunikasi orang tua kepada anak serta pola asuh demokratis yang diterapkan orang tua. Lingkungan masyarakat meliputi teman sebaya dan orang dewasa yang memberikan contoh kurang baik serta penggunaan handphone dan televise yang menganggu proses belajar. Faktor lingkungan sekolah meliputi motivasi dari guru dan sarana prasarana yang mendukung proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perpustakaan desa yang sudah ada namun belum berjalan dengan maksimal. Perpustakaan tersebut adalah perpustakaan Matahati yang terdapat di dusun Ngajaran desa Sidomulyo kecamatan Bambanglipuro Bantul. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pengabdiam ini adalah dengan tahap persiapan yang terdiri dari koordinasi internal tim PKM, survey lokasi kegiatan, mengurus perijinan, pembuatan instrumen PKM dan materi untuk kegiatan di lapangan, melakukan pendampingan dan pelatihan pengelolaan perpustakaan. Tahap akhir dalam pengabdian ini adalah monitoring dan evaluasi sebagai umpan balik pelaksanaan PKM. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya minat membaca anak-anak yang berada disekitar perpustakaan Desa. Selanjutnya pengabdian ini juga mewujudkan terbentuknya koordinasi yang baik antara pengabdi dan pengurus perpustakaan desa yang bertujuan untuk pengembangan perpuatskaan desa agar dapat dimamfaatkan dengan lebih maksimal.

Abstract

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION STRENGTHENING TO IMPROVE PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING OF BURUH GENDONG WOMEN IN GIWANGAN MARKET. Everyone efforts to meet their needs are pursued in various ways in life. A unique thing that happens in Yogyakarta precisely in the Giwangan market is that a number of elderly women continue to make a living in surprising ways. Some elderly women, who were then called buruh gendong, lifted items that were more than normal. With a piece of striated batik cloth, they can lift weights of more than 50 kg. These buruh gendong work from morning till dawn. Its activities have been taken a long time until they have advanced age. Almost all of these workers are Muslims, the problem is that they are tired from working all day and the schedule cannot be ascertained, making them lose their time to worship and do not have time to study. Initial survey results show that many of them have not been able to read the Qur'an. So that this service aims to provide assistance in the context of strengthening the religious character, especially through the Qur'an recitation. The output of this service is expected to create a religious atmosphere in the Giwangan market. The workers work but also can maintain and feel the meaningfulness of their lives through mentoring to strengthen the religious character. This dedication works in collaboration with the Annisa Swasti Foundation (YASANTI), which has long accompanied them in the process of advocating and organizing workers in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

As an effort to form humans, education must have a good and strong foundation because, with this foundation, the direction of the implementation of education is not merely a momentary shock or turmoil. The foundation of education is essential in the process of advancing education. Thus, the basis of education is a fundamental problem because basic education will determine the style and content of education. In the meantime, its relation to Islamic education, the basis or foundation of Islamic education, is the foundation that forms the basis or principle to stand tall. Therefore, the basis of Islamic education must be considered comprehensively in wading through the next educational steps. Al-Qur'an and Hadith are sources of Islamic law and complete knowledge, covering the whole of human life, both the world and the hereafter. Both of them become an apparent clue for humans and the pace of their lives at all times. Al-Qur'an and Hadith, as a basis for Islamic education as well as a source of shari'a teachings, not only work as a book but also exploration for daily life. Islam is a religion that carries a mission so that people conduct education and teaching.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an is the most coveted worship to be performed by every Muslim. Many have tried to memorize but not all of them have succeeded. This research aims to describe and understand self-concept in students who memorize the Qur'an at the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. In addition, this study also aims to find out the supporting factors and inhibitors in memorizing or memorizing the Qur'an in students who memorize the Qur'an at the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. The research uses a qualitative approach, with sampling techniques using snowball sampling and purposive sampling. Data is collected by observation and interview methods. Research results (1) Students who memorize the Qur'an at the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta have a positive self-concept. (2) Supporting factors in memorizing the Qur'an in students who memorize the Qur'an at the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta are the intention of oneself, the encouragement of parents, families, and the supportive environment. (3) Inhibiting factors in students who memorize the Qur'an at the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta are mood, laziness, mobile phones, and environmental factors. This research found that self-concept is an important thing that needs to be considered by a reciter of the Qur'an.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini menghadirkan kajian madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan dan agen perubahan masyarakat. Madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam mengintegrasikan ilmu-ilmu agama dengan ilmu umum. Madrasah merupakan sinergi sistem pembelajaran pondok pesantren yang dipadukan dengan sistem pembelajaran klasikal ala Barat. Keberadaan madrasah memiliki arti penting pemberdayaan masyarakat dan perubahan sosial pada masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Berdasar hasil penelitian didapati bahwa komitmen keagamaan masyarakat Kartoharjo, Ngawi mengalami perubahan yang signifikan, walaupun secara keseluruhan belum optimal, khususnya pada masyarakat Kartoharjo bagian Tengah dan Barat. Perubahan budaya masyarakat yang terjadi tidak bisa dilepaskan dari adanya peran madrasah dalam mendampingi masyarakat terkait pelaksanaan ibadah dan pemahaman keagamaan. Berdasar fenomena dilapangan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keberadaan madrasah, dan siswa merupakan faktor utama penggerak perubahan di Kartoharjo, Ngawi. Seiring dengan prestasi MIM Kartoharjo, Ngawi, Jawa Timur juga mengalami peningkatan animo masyarakat.Abstract: This study presents madrasas as educational institutions and agents of community change. Madrasas as Islamic educational institutions integrate religious sciences with general science. Madrasas are a synergy of Islamic boarding school learning systems combined with Western-style classical learning systems. The existence of Madrasas has an important meaning for community empowerment and social change (progress) in Indonesian society—data collection techniques using interviews, observation, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the study results, it was found that the "religious commitment" of the people of Kartoharjo Village, Ngawi experienced significant changes. However, overall it was not optimal, especially in the Central and West Kartoharjo communities. The changes in a community culture that occur cannot be separated from the role of madrasas in assisting the community regarding the implementation of worship and religious understanding. This phenomenon shows that the presence of students and the achievements of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Kartoharjo, Ngawi, East Java has increased significantly.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is one of the world's largest mass Muslim organizations that have developed education in Indonesia. In particular, in the city of Pekanbaru Muhammadiyah was built by several schools. As one of the organizations that care about education, Muhammadiyah also highlights the role of state character. The aim of this research is to see how Islamic and Kemuhamadiyahan lessons in several high schools in the city of Pekanbaru to build the character of the students. This research is expected to be able to contribute to the organizations involved in helping to realize a nation of character through education in the school's guidance. The study uses a qualitative method by the phenomenology approach. The research informants were 65, consisting of school principals, vice-principals, teachers and students.

Abstract

Kesulitan belajar merupakan kondisi saat siswa mengalami hambatan-hambatan tertentu untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran dan mencapai hasil belajar secara optimal. Kesulitan belajar yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini dibatasi pada definisi kesulitan belajar akademik  yaitu kesulitan siswa dalam mencapai prestasi atau kemampuan akademik dimana dalam hal ini siswa memiliki intelegensi tidak dibawah rata-rata namun mendapatkan prestasi belajar rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar yang dihadapi siswa serta mengetahui penyebab siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa di SMK Muhammadiyah Kota Tegal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kesulitan-kesulitan belajar siswa merupakan kesulitan yang bersifat komunal atau kolektif dirasakan oleh sebagian siswa. Kesulitan belajar erat kaitannya dengan interaksi sosial dalam proses belajar dan mengajar. Faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar yaitu: Suasana belajar kurang mendukung, landasan belajar yang kurang kuat, lingkungan belajar kurang kondusif, perancangan pengajaran dan penyampaian materi pelajaran.
