Abstract

Indonesia's energy needs each year increase in line with economic growth and population. Indonesia still needs to work on achieving its development targets in the energy sector to date. Dependence on fossil energy, especially petroleum, is still high to meet domestic energy consumption. Non-renewable energy reserves such as oil, natural gas, and coal are very worrying because they run low. The urgency in this study is very important because there are rarely studies that compare the Knowledge and Perceptions about the Prospects of Utilizing Biofuel-Based Alternative Energy Sources. This study aims to analyze the effect of knowledge and perceptions about the Prospects of Utilizing Biofuel-Based Alternative Energy Sources. This research method is a mixed method, with the sampling technique in this study being multistage random sampling. The number of respondents as a sample is 100 respondents. The data collection instruments used were in the form of questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study is divided into descriptive statistical testing (mean, median, min, and max) and inferential (simple regression). The regression test results show an influence of Knowledge and Perception about the Prospects of Utilizing Biofuel-Based Alternative Energy Sources.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that depend on fossil-based fuels as a good source of energy. Until now, the portion of fossil energy use has reached more than 80% in the national primary energy mix. From these data, it is clear that dependence on fossil energy in Indonesia is still high. This study aims to describe the knowledge and perceptions of the people of Jambi City about the prospect of using alternative energy sources based on biofuels. And to find out whether there is an influence between knowledge and people's perceptions of Jambi City about the prospect of using biofuel-based alternative energy sources. This study uses the type of mix method. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and interviews. The results obtained are that the community perception value in Jelutung sub-district regarding biofuel-based alternative energy is higher than the community in Pasar Jambi sub-district. People in Pasar Jambi Sub-district have knowledge about alternative energy based on biofuel which is superior to people in Jelutung sub-district

Abstract

Currently students are expected to have the ability to solve environmental problems, especially in everyday life, which is known as pro-environmental behavior or actions. One of the strategies in teaching students' problem solving abilities is by learning mini research to solve problems in the surrounding environment, especially in the scope of biology. This study aims to analyze the effect of pro-environmental behavior learning by using a mini research project on problem solving abilities and how much influence it has on students in Senior High School. The research method used is associative quantitative with comparative type. The population in this study were students of ten grade Senior High School in science class and from this population a sample would be taken using simple random sampling technique, with a total sample of 96 students from three classes. This research procedure includes the preparation stage, implementation stage and data analysis stage. The research instruments used were in the form of question sheets and questionnaires. Based on the data obtained, the average score of the highest problem solving value is 74.7 and the lowest is 68.9. Then it can be concluded that there is an influence from the use of learning with a mini research project on problem solving abilities. The implication of this research is that it can be used by teaching staff as a reference in using the integrated mini research learning model of pro environmental behavior to improve students' problem solving abilities.

Abstract

This study applies a problem based learning model that can be a solution for teachers in optimizing students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of PBL learning models on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, the effect of self-confidence on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, and see the interaction of PBL and self-confidence models on mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is an experimental study using a posttest only control design. The population of this study was all 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi in the 2021/2022 academic year as many as 248 students and divided into 8 classes. In this study, the sample used was 64 students who were divided into two classes (experimental class I and control class). The sample is determined by the Simple Random Sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a self-confidence questionnaire and a test of mathematical problem solving abilities. The data obtained were analyzed using a two-way ANOVA test. The results of this study are that the PBL learning model is more effective in influencing mathematical problem solving abilities than conventional learning, and self-covidance with high and medium categories affects mathematical problem solving abilities more than students' self-confidence in low categories.

Abstract

Good environment will affect students' learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze how students' interest in learning and critical thinking skills can be influenced by students' pro-environmental behavior, because a. This study uses a survey technique. In this study, a sample of 50 students was used which was divided into two classes. Analysis of the data used is a simple regression test. After the implementation of this research, it is known that students' responses to PEB-based learning have a significant effect on learning interest and students' critical thinking skills in learning environmental materials. This is evidenced by the t-count value which is greater than the t-table, as well as a lower significance value compared to the tolerance limit value used of 0.05. The novelty in this research is in the material being measured or tested and the number of variables used. Where in the previous study only used one of the three variables that I studied, and had not researched pro-environment. The limitations of this study are limited to knowing the effect of student responses to pro-environmental behavior-based learning (PEB) on interest in learning and student learning outcomes in environmental material learning, not yet on skills or psychomotor aspects. Therefore, it is recommended for further researchers to be able to add aspects that have not been studied in this study to make it more perfect.

Methodology: This research is classified as research and development using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects used were 24 students and 2 teachers to see responses to entrepreneurship-based learning videos using purposive sampling. Data analysis used descriptive statistics (Category, Min, and Max) and inferential (One paired t-test). Main findings: In this study, the results of validation by material experts and validation by media experts were very feasible. The results of the science teacher's responses and student trials in one-on-one, small, and large group trials were obtained in the very good category. And there are significant differences for students in using Entrepreneurship-based learning videos Novelty/Originality of this study: In the era of the industrial revolution and social revolution, human resources are needed to go through this. Therefore, especially in junior high schools, teachers must carry out innovations, one of which is to innovate in the learning media used, namely using entrepreneurship-based learning videos. Today's students must have an entrepreneurial spirit or attitude to compete in the present.

Abstract

Modules are the smallest program units that can be studied by individual students (self instructional). The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of how module development is, as well as the feasibility and effectiveness of modules being developed. The research method used is Research and Development. In this study contains how to develop modules through the validation stage by material experts and media experts. Source of data used in this study were students and teachers of SMK N 1 Kota Jambi. The results showed that the module developed was worthy of material experts with a value of 78.8% and was very feasible by media experts 90.4%, after being revised, it was tested on teachers and students. The teacher response test scores 94% criteria very well, the small group test scores 87.8% and the large group test scores 88%. The effectiveness of the module on students' environmental awareness values for the experimental class 89.8%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the science learning module on 3R-based waste handling materials (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) gets a proper assessment from the experts, very good and effective towards the environmental concern of students.
