Abstract

Planthopper and grasshopper pests that attack rice plants in the Padukuhan Pondok rice fields, Condongcatur have an impact on decreasing productivity of rice farmers. The objectives of this community service are: (1) to produce an IoT-based techno-pest control device by utilizing solar cells as power supply; (2) increasing the skills of farmers in using efficient technology that is economical, modern and environmentally friendly. The methods used include experimentation, socialization and training. This community service activity is the manufacture of IoT-based techno-pest control tools and tool dissemination. The dissemination activity was successfully held and attended by 50 participants from the farmer's group of culinary sources, the participants actively asked questions and were enthusiastic in practicing the operation of the tools. 85% of participants can operate the equipment in groups. Techno-pest control tools can eradicate planthoppers and grasshoppers at a radius of 6m within 4 hours via 40kHz ultrasonic waves. This tool is integrated on the internet to monitor the situation of rice fields by accessing the website http://pkm.ptm.ustjogja.ac.id.

Abstract

Community service activities for the RAMIS workshop movement (Disabled Friendly, Safe, Independent, Intelligent, and Healthy) include the following programs: (1) standardization of ergonomic disabled workshops, having SOPs for disabled motorcycle workshops, repairing workshop inventory, and obeying the principles of health protocols in work environment in the new normal life era; (2) motorcycle service training for workers; (3) launching of RAMIS workshop e-commerce and operation training. The objectives of this PKM include: (1) standardization of partner workshops into RAMIS workshops; (2) improving service skills and equipment maintenance skills for workers; (3) improve the quality of marketing and services through the RAMIS workshop e-commerce. The methods used to realize the program are pilot, training and mentoring. The PKM activity programs that have been implemented include: (1) completing the inventory of partner workshops and arranging workshop layouts; and (2) training and assistance for tricycle motorcycle service; (3) creation of an e-commerce web for partner workshops. The service training activity was attended by 20 participants. Based on the implementation of the PKM program, the results obtained are 100% complete workshop equipment, 100% skilled workers in maintaining workshop equipment, 85% skilled workers in carrying out tricycle motorcycle services, the RAMIS workshop e-commerce web can be accessed at www.bengkelramis.com. With the indicators of the achievement of the PKM program, it can be concluded that this service program activity has been carried out very well.

Abstract

Tujuan pelatihan pengabdian LSLC (Lesson Study Learning Community) yaitu (1) membentuk komunitas guru LSLC melalui tahapan bimbingan teknis yang konkret dan komprehensif di SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan; dan (2) merefleksi hasil open class lesson study oleh guru model di SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan. Kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung dari tanggal 12 dan 14 Juli 2018 dengan kurun waktu 14 jam pelatihan. Metode kegiatan menerapkan kolaboratif antara ceramah, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan sangat tinggi dalam meningkatkan kolegalitas guru. Sedangkan hasil refleksi open class lesson study yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 kali open class menunjukkan adanya penggantian media 3D menambah motivasi siswa dalam belajar, metode problem based learning dapat menjadikan kegiatan pembelajaran menjadi student center learning, dan terdapat interaksi antara kelompok tidak hanya bertanya namun siswa menjadi aktif menyampaikan argumennya.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi para peserta didik SMK Pembangunan 1 Kutowinangun dalam penguasaan teknologi EFI. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pendidikan Teknik Mesin UST pada tanggal 22 – 26 September 2018 selama 36 jam. Kegiatan pelatihan telah diikuti sebanyak 25 peserta didik. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik. Kegiatan pelatihan terlaksana selama 5 hari yaitu: (1) Hari pertama, pengenalan dasar-dasar EFI; (2) Hari kedua, pengenalan sistem EFI; (3) Hari ketiga, pengenalan sistem aliran bahan bakar; (4) Hari keempat, pengenalan sistem aliran udara; dan (5) Hari kelima, pengenalan diagnosis EFI. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan teori maupun praktik para peserta pelatihan terhadap teknologi EFI dan penggunaan engine scanner sebagai alat untuk mendiagnosa kerusakan atau kondisi suatu mesin yang telah menggunakan teknologi EFI secara cepat dan tepat.Kata kunci : Pelatihan, Electronic Fuel Injection

Abstract

The research aims to : (1) the application of E-learning models; (2) enhancing learning activeness; and (3) improving learning outcomes by using E-Learning models in automotive basic technology learning subjects. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques used observation, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) the application of the E-learning model was carried out by giving explanations about edmodo applications, giving examples of questions and solving them, giving students the opportunity to ask questions, opening uploaded material, giving assignments through edmodo applications, and working on them online; (2) the average percentage of learning activeness in cycle I was 57.7% with the category of moderately active, increased in cycle II to 68.9% with the active category, and increased again in the cycle III to 81.8% with very active criteria; (3) the average value in the first cycle of 65,25 with 40% mastery learning, increased to 74.25 in the second cycle with 65% mastery learning, and increased to 78.75 in the third cycle with 80% mastery learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan dimasa pandemi covid-19 oleh pemerintah Indonesia sebagai pencegahan penularan penyakit. Kendala yang dialami siswa SMK Ma’arif 1 Nanggulan pada saat pembelajaran daring yaitu belum ada media yang tepat digunakan siswa untuk belajar secara mandiri. Penggunaan video tutorial dapat dimanfaatkan siswa sebagai bahan pembelajaran daring maupun luring. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan menghasilkan media video tutorial serta menguji kelayakan video tutorial. Penelitian pengembangan (Researce and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Subjek penelitian yaitu ahli materi, ahli media dan siswa kelas XI TKR. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan teknik analisis data yaitu diskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kelayakan video tutorial untuk standar kompetensi melakukan pemeriksaan sistem starter mendapatkan hasil layak berdasarkan uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi mendapat persentase 72,5% dengan kriteria “Layak”, oleh ahli media mendapatkan persentase 83,75% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”, serta respon siswa pada kelompok kecil mendapatkan persentase 79,28 % dengan kriteria “Layak” dan respon siswa pada kelompok besar mendapatkan persentase 74,3% dengan kriteria “Layak”. Berdasarkan data tersebut maka media video tutorial untuk standar kompetensi melakukan pemeriksaan sistem starter layak digunakan.

Abstract

The results of this study (1) determine how much influence the use of the E-Module suspension system has to improve student achievement. (2) Knowing the eligibility level of the E-module used in the learning process of the suspension system. (3) Knowing students' responses to E-Module-based learning media about the suspension system. The e-module development uses a 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Dissemination). The electronic learning module was validated by two material experts and one media expert and then tested on 5 students for small-scale trials and 26 students for large-scale students of class XI majoring in Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering, SMK Muhammadiyah Semin. Data collection used a four-scale Likert scale questionnaire. choice. The feasibility of electronic learning modules can be seen from the results of material validation, media validation and testing of students to get proper results. The results of e-module development from material validation and expert validation as well as dissemination to students state that the e-module is in the very feasible category. So it can be concluded that the use of suspension e-modules is feasible for vocational learning

Abstract

Budaya 3M (Memakai masker, Menjaga jarak, dan Mencuci tangan) merupakan upaya pencegahan penularan virus covid-19. Disiplin dalam menjalankan protokol kesehatan khususnya cuci tangan akan semakin terbantu dengan tersedianya fasilitas wastafel cuci tangan di lab PVTM. Terlebih dalam memudahkan seseorang mencuci tangan pemanfaatan wastafel otomatis akan menjadi alternatif solusi dalam peningkatan gerakan budaya disiplin mencuci tangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan wastafel otomatis berbasis infrared proximity sensor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan (Research and Development). Desain penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahapan meliputi lima langkah, yaitu: (1) Analysis (Analisis); (2) Design (Desain); (3) Development (Pengembangan); (4) Implementation (Implementasi); dan (5) Evaluation (Evaluasi). Bahan yang dibutuhkan diantaranya PCB rangkaian komparator, infrared proximity sensor, keran, bak wastafet set, elektrik pump, kabel, dan baterai litium. Hasil penelitian berupa produk “wastafel otomatis berbasis infrared proximity sensor” yang diterapkan di bengkel PVTM UST. Sedangkan luaran tambahan berupa publikasi artikel pada Jurnal dan HKI. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi teknologi alternatif dalam memudahkan proses cuci tangan sehingga disiplin protokol kesehatan covid-19 menjadi kebudayaan dilingkungan kampus dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran analisis faktor kesulitan belajar praktek industri rumah tangga boga secara daring pada mahasiswa tata boga. Jenis penelitian Deskriptif Kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian  mahasiswa Prodi PVKK yang menempuh mata kuliah Industri Rumah Tangga Boga di semester empat Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 sebanyak 35 mahasiswa. Objek penelitian adalah faktor kesulitan belajar praktek industri rumah tangga boga. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian  dilakukan dengan teknik total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumentasi dan angket, melalui google form. Uji coba kepada 30 responden (uji coba terpakai). Hasil angket tersebut  digunakan mendiskripsikan skore ideal dan skore observasi untuk analisis factor kesulitan belajar mahasiswa  secara daring. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menghitung mean, median, modus, dan standart deviasi. Hasil penelitan (1) Faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar,ditinjau dari faktor internal dan eksternal sebesar 11,4% dikategorikan tinggi, 28,58% kategori sedang, sebesar 60% kategori  rendah; (2) ditinjau  faktor internal 5,71% kategotri tinggi, sebesar 0%   kategori sedang, 94,29% kategori rendah; (3) ditinjau  faktor eksternal 28,57% kategori tinggi, sebesar 31,43% kategori sedang, sebesar 40% pada kategori rendah. Dengan demikian jika dilihat dari factor internal dan eksternal, tidak ada kesulitan belajar  walaupun dilaksanakan secara daring.

Abstract

One of the parameters that affect turbine performance is the amount and shape of the turbine blades. This study aims to determine the effect of the amount of Archimedes screw turbine blades on turbine performance. The type of turbine used in this study is the Archimedes turbine with single and double screw balde. The turbine test was carried out in the Puri Kedaton river, Pematang Gajah village, with a flow rate entering the turbine of 0.043 m3/s. The shaft load received by the turbine is varied, namely 30 kg, 40 kg, 50 kg and the tilt of the turbine is installed 30°. The test results show that the double screw turbine type produces 518 Watt turbine power with the highest efficiency of 80,5%.
