Abstract

This study was aimed at describing the problems faced by kindergarten students as seen by teachers and parents The data were collected from 12 kindergarten teachers and 245 parents, selected using the cluster random sampling technique, by using questionnaires. In addition, interviews were done with teachers. The results indicated that there were five problems faced by kindergarten students: social, emotional, moral, understanding-development, and language. The findings imply that role playing, modeling, and group guidance be implemented by kindergarten teachers in counseling processes.

Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan gambaran kemampuan siswa setelah mengikuti proses belajar mengajar dalam rentangan waktu tertentu. belajar itu sendiri merupakan suatu proses dari seseorang yang berusaha untuk memperoleh suatu bentuk perubahan perilaku yang relatif menetap. Salah satu faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi adalah kondisi lingkungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa, (2) untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi lingkungan keluarga, dan (3) untuk menguji hubungan antara kondisi lingkungan keluarga dengan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif dan korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini siswa SMAN 4 Kota Solok yang terdaftar pada semester Januari-Juni tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dan sampel sebanyak 180 siswa yang dipilih dengan Proposional Stratified Random Sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuisioner Kondisi Lingkungan Keluarga dengan reliabilitas 0,717 dan hasil ledger nilai siswa SMAN 4 Kota Solok semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Data dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif dan teknik Pearson Product Moment. Temuan penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa: (1) kondisi lingkungan keluarga siswa berada pada kategori rendah, (2) hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang, (3) dan terdapat hubungan negative yang signifikan antara kondisi lingkungan keluarga dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan koefisien korelasi 0,219 dengan taraf signifikan 0,000.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the number of adolescents who tend to behave aggressively such as hitting, kicking, saying rude, mocking, fighting. Aggressive behavior is a negative behavior that is thought to be one of the contributing factors is low emotional maturity. This study aims to examine the relationship of emotional maturity with aggressive behavior. This research is a descriptive correlational type of research with quantitative methods. The sample in this study were 213 students consisting of classes X and XI. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire of emotional maturity with aggressive behavior on students using the Likert scale. Data were processed using Pearson product moment formula with the Statical Product Abd Service Solution (SPSS) program version 20.0. The results of this study reveal that there is a relationship between emotional maturity with high aggressive behavior or low emotional maturity that will affect aggressive behavior. Based on the findings of this study, it is expected that the BK counselor or counselor can provide assistance and services in the form of guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the truism of students who are truant in terms of the adjustment of students with peers, and adjustment of the teacher in learning. The method in this research is quantitative descriptive with 36 research subjects who play truant in SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The instrument used is a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using percentage techniques. The findings of the study show (1) the adjustment of students who play truant in terms of the adjustment of students to peers at school is generally classified as low (50%), (2) the adjustment of students who play truant in terms of students' adaptation to teachers in learning in general is very low (83.3%), (3) overall in the low category (83.3%). The results of this study can be used as a reference in making programs for counseling teachers or counselors so that students' adaptation can be developed positively.

Abstract

Interests following individual counseling is a desire to attend individual counseling when experiencing problems in order to alleviate the problem. Reality in schools, during the school year 2018/2019 there were only 30 students who follow individual counseling of the overall number of students 602 people, including three students for counsel of their own accord while 27 other students for counsel being summoned by the BK teachers or students were handed over by homeroom or subject teachers / teachers picket. The purpose of this study is to describe the interest of students follow individual counseling services of aspects 1) attention, 2) interest, 3) the desire, 4) belief, and 5) action. This research is quantitative research with descriptive approach. The population of this research are students of class X and XI SMA N 8 Padang, amounting to 602 people. The sampling technique was conducted by using proportional random sampling. The research sample consists of 240 people. This study was conducted by administering research instruments scale model Likert. Data analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques. The research findings indicate 1) the students have a high attention to individual counseling, (2) students interested enough to attend individual counseling, (3) students quite willing to participate in individual counseling, (4) students have confidence high for individual counseling, and (5) the students are quite active in participation involved to follow individual counseling. Based on the findings of this study concluded that students in SMA N 8 Padang quite interested to attend individual counseling.

Abstract

Education always experiences change and development under developments in all areas of life. Rapid technological developments make it easier for humans to carry out their daily activities. Technology that is experiencing rapid development is an information technology, one of which is the internet. This study aims to describe differences in internet addiction between male and female students at Universitas Negeri Padang. Sample of this study was 258 students (47 male and 211 female). The analysis technique used is independent of sample t-test combined with a stacking Rasch model. The results of analysis showed that there was no difference in internet addiction between male and female students at Universitas Negeri Padang. Internet addiction of male and female students has no difference, it can see from the ability of students to answer instrument statements are the same this is show by the value of internet addiction (sig =.233), this states p-value> 0.05, which shows there is no significant difference in internet addiction between male and female students. It further states the discussion regarding counseling and guidance services.

Abstract

When this study was conducted, students were exposed to access to information via the internet, which negatively impacted pornography behavior. One example of media that counselors can do to improve student emotional regulation is designing guidelines for implementing attractive information services. This study aims to increase the regulation of student emotions in the prevention of pornographic tendencies through information services. This research uses research and development (R & D). The research model uses a 4-D development model. The type of data collected in this study is the type of data validity and suitability according to students' needs. The instrument of data collection in this study used a Likert scale questionnaire and group discussion. The study population was students of SMK Negeri 1 Padang. The study sample was a class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Padang. The study results found that providing information service guidelines to improve student emotion regulation in preventing the tendency of pornography was effective in increasing the regulation of students' emotions in preventing pornographic tendencies.

Abstract

One of the tasks of development in adolescents is social adjustment to the environment which is the school environment. Frequently, adolescents have problems in making social adjustments because this is one of the difficult tasks of adolescent development. If this condition is left, the teen will experience problems. Based on the existing phenomena, there are still students who have not been able to make social adjustments to the school environment so that such things can make students do deviant behavior like brawls. Fighting itself is a fight between groups. The population in this research was the student of SMK Negeri Padang which 140 students were chosen as the sample of the research. The sampling technique used was a purposive random sampling, and the data collection tools used the Social Adjustment Scale (SPS). The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical methods with data processing using SPSS version 22. The results revealed that social adjustments in brawl prevention were classified as low (50.7%). Then, in the average, there was 38.6%, and in the high category, there was 10.7 %. Based on the results obtained, a follow-up can be carried out by making a guide to improve students' social adjustment to the school environment in preventing brawl.

Abstract

Free sex in Indonesia from time to time is very worrying. Teenagers think free sex is a normal and normal thing to do. Adolescent attitudes affect the behavior carried out. This study reveals the contribution of parental support to adolescent attitudes about free sex behavior. This research uses the correlational method and data collected from a sample of 235 students, which were found using proportional random sampling techniques. Data were collected using a parental support scale (32 valid items, = 0.873), and a scale of adolescent attitudes about free sex (22 valid items = 0.885). Data were then analyzed using multiple regression. The results show that parental support contributed 17.9% to adolescent attitudes about free sex behavior. It can be concluded that the higher the parental support, the adolescent’s items, about free sex will be more negative.
