Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze students’ metacognitive skill in understanding mathematics subject in SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Andam Dewi. The approach of the research is descriptive qualitative. Subject of the research consist of 6 students. Observation, test, and interview were used in collecting the data and triangulation technique was used in analysis technique. The research of the research shows the average of students’ metacognitive skill is 71.325 ( medium category). It means, students metacognitive in understanding mathematics subject include students have ability in conducting planning, monitoring in solving the problem, and giving the score by looking back.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze critical thinking ability in terms of students’ learning interest during Covid – 19 period in SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Andam Dewi. The approach of the research is descriptive qualitative. Subject of the research consist of 10 students. Observation, test, questionnaire, and interview were used in collecting the data and triangulation technique was used in analysis technique. The research of the research shows the average of students’ learning interest is 78.95 (good category) which 50% of students in very good category, 30% of students in good category, and 20% in enough category. Furthermore, the average of students’ critical thinking ability is 52.24 (medium category). It’s concluded students’ able to analysis the questions, evaluate by using directly strategy in solving the questiona, and taking conclution.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ mathematical communication ability on the topic statistics at the eighth grade students MTs S Aek Bonban. This research was conducted by using qualitative descriptive with the informants 1 mathematics teacher and 5 students ( 1 students who has high ability , 2 students who have average, and 2 students who have low ability) as the subject of the research. Interview and test were used in collecting the data. Students who has high ability able to understand and overcome the mathematical problem well based on the indicators, students who have medium ability able to understand the mathematical problem well but they are not able to overcome the mathematical problem well based on the indicators (they able overcome 2 indicators), and students who have low ability are not able to understand the mathematical problem well and they also are not able to overcome the mathematics problem well ( they able to overcome 1 indicators).

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the results of the interpretation of students' mathematical answers in mathematics learning in SMA Negeri 1 Andam Dewi. The approach of the research is descriptive qualitative. Subject of the research consist of 13 students. Observation, test, and interview were used in collecting the data and triangulation technique was used in analysis technique. The research of the research shows the average of the interpretation of students' mathematical answers in mathematics learning is 75.59 ( medium category). It’s concluded the interpretation of students' mathematical answers in mathematics learning in SMA Negeri 1 Andam Dewi include students able to find information or problems, compare the relevance of information or problems, analyze, check back and draw conclusions.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze students’ mathematic learning emotional intelligence level based on gender in covid period. The approach of the research uses descriptive quantitative with 10 students as the respondents. Instrument of the research uses questionnaire (Linkert Scale) and interview. The result of the research shows male and female students who have high emotional intelligence able to understand the condition of self and others, able to control feeling, and able to interact to the friends and teachers. Male students who have medium emotional intelligence able to control his emotion but they are not able for the others, able interact to their friends but they are not able to the teachers. Female students who have medium emotional intelligence able to to control herself and the others, they able to interact to the teacher but they are not able to their friends. Male students who have low emotional intelligence able to control his self but they are not able to interact to the teachers and friends to get the help. Female students who have low emotional intelligence are not able to control herself and the others and they are not able to interact to the teachers and friends to get help.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the fact that studying mathematics cannot be separated from various influencing factors, one of which is the student's gender (gender). The description of students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in mathematics learning in terms of gender is certainly an interesting focus and attention for educators. descriptive qualitative and informants in this study are students and teachers. The results of the research conducted can be concluded that the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students at SMK Negeri 1 Sosorgadong based on gender in the linear equation system material is included in the low criteria.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the level of students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the implementation of online learning at SMK N 1 Sosorgadong. This research approach is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were 14 students. Interviews and tests were used in data collection and triangulation techniques were used in analytical techniques. The results showed that the average mathematical problem solving ability of students was 70.23 (medium category). In conclusion, students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the implementation of online learning at SMK N 1 Sosorgadong include students having the ability to plan, monitor problem solving, and recheck answers.

Abstract

Abstrak Media pembelajaran merupakan media penunjang dalam pembelajaran dengan tujuan untuk meningkatakan kualitas peserta didik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Namun dalam kenyaatannya guru hanya meggunakan metode ceramah sehingga pembelajaran sangat monoton. Penelitian ii bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media monopoly game smart (MGS) untuk kelas VIII-2 SMP Negeri 11 Padangsidimpuan yang layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah R & D (Research and Development) dengan model 4-D yang terdiri dari tahap Pendefenisian (Define), tahap Perancangan (Design), tahap Pengembangan (Development), dan tahap Penyebaran (Disseminate). Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa data dari ahli, angket respon siswa dan angket kreativitas belajar siswa selanjutnya dilakukan analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi ahli media mendapat rata-rata 93,75% kategori Sangat Valid , ahli media mendapat rata-rata 88,75% kategori valid. Kemudian hasil persentase angket respon siswa mendapatkan nilai 89,047% dengan kategori praktis. Kata kunci— Pengembangan, Monopoly Game Smart (MGS) Abstract learning media is a supporting media in learning with the aim of improving the quality of student in teaching and learning activities. But in reality the teacher only uses the lecture methode so that learning is very monotonous. This research aims to develop a smart monopoly games (MGS) Media for class VIII-2 SMP N 11 Padangsdimpuan which is suitable for use in learning activities. The type of reserch use is R & D ( Research and Development) with a 4-D model consisting of the define stage, desing stage, development stage, ang disseminate stage. The data collection technique use is the from of data from expert, student response questionnaires and student learning creativity questionnaires, then data analisis is carried out. The result showed that media expert validation got an average of 93,75%, in the very valid category, theory expert got an average of 88,75% in the valid category. Then result of the percentage of student response questionnaires get a value of 89,047% in the practical category. Keywords— Development, monopoly game smart (MGS)

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop interactive learning media products through the Quizizz application in mathematics lessons in Class X SMA Negeri 1 Kolang. To see the effectiveness of interactive learning media through the Quizizz application in mathematics lessons in Class X SMA Negeri 1 Kolang. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kolang. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). This study uses the ADDIE development model including Analysis (analysis), Design (design), Development (development), Implementation (implementation), and Evaluation (evaluation). The data collection technique used is observation and lift. The results of this development are in the form of learning media in the form of animated videos. Learning media were validated by validators from 3 expert teams, namely media experts, 91% were obtained in the very good category, material experts were 96% in the very good category. Then the results of student responses or product practicality obtained an average value of 90 with very good achievements. The results of the research conducted showed that the average value of the students' pretest results was 62.06 while the posttest average value was 85.88. then to test the effectiveness of quizizz-based interactive media in learning seen from the acquisition of the N-gain value. the results of the above calculation obtained an N-Gain value of 0.63. Then if you look for the percentage of the N-Gain value obtained by 63%, it can be concluded that the acquisition of the N-Gain value is in the medium classification. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inovatif di SMA N 1 Angkola Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) menggunakan siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA 1 SMA 1 Angkola Timur. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dengan dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam peelitian ini menggunakan angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yag digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar angket, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian dari dua siklus menunjukkan adanya peningkatan self-efficacy matematika siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil angket self-efficacy pada siklus I diperoleh hasil skor rata-rata 65,86 dengan kriteria “baik” . Sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh skor rata-rata 81,37 dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil kedua siklus diperoleh peningkatan sebesar 15,51. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inovatif dapat meningkatkan self-efficacy matematika siswa di SMA N 1 A ngkola Timur.
