Abstract

Abstract: This research, based on reports published by Modern Language Association, analyzed enrollments in languages other than English in United States institutions of higher education from 2002 to 2016. Results show that American college students’ interest on foreign languages have been increasing unsteady since the 1950s, but the increasing rates kept low; and given the factors like the Great Depression since 2009, college students’ interests on foreign language and other disciplines of humanity have dropped abruptly. The enrollment of Chinese classes has reached its peak in 2013 but then experienced a 13 percent decrease. This study suggests, to promote Chinese education in the US, teachers should develop practical contents and encourage students to study advanced classes, and government of China should develop its soft power to attract more students to study Chinese. 摘要: 新冠肺炎病毒的突发事件影响了学校教学的很多方面。今年3月初印尼教育部部长提出新的教育政策,其中一个是各个教育单位要进行网络教学。不过,针对初级汉语学习者来说,通过网络学习第二语言教学的确具有一定的难度。本文通过调查问卷,考察了初级汉语学习者上网课的情况,并记录了网课的师生配合方式,查看学习者的学习过程、效果。根据这三个方面总结了初级汉语学习者线上教学特点和遇到的困难,提出了应对线上教学难题的策略,以期能更好地提高汉语网课的教学效果。

Abstract

Farming with verticulture hydroponics is a trend in urban areas. Verticulture hydroponics can overcome land limitations, is easy to implement, and can take advantage of used goods. Kampung Kapas Lor Kulon Surabaya is a densely populated village and buildings, minimally greened, and seems shabby. The purpose of community service carried out is to improve the knowledge and skills of verticulture hydroponic farming in Dasa Wisma RT 04 Kapas Lor Kulon Surabaya. The methods used are observation, analysis of potentials and problems, implementation through counseling and training, and evaluation. Evaluation is carried out through questionnaires before and after training, as well as monitoring in the field. The hydroponic system used is an axis system, and a DFT (Deep Flow Technique) system. The results of the evaluation showed that there was an increase in knowledge and skills in the trainees. Knowledge of the notion of verticulture hydroponics increased quite sharply from 21.25% to 95%. Hydroponic farming skills have also improved, ranging from seed seeding, and plant removal, to plant care. The mothers' awareness of using second-hand goods to grow crops is also very good.

Abstract

Digital technology-based marketing is also an opportunity for businesses to develop. Thus, there is a need for socialization regarding the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Digital Marketing. The implementation methods are socialization activities, tutorials, discussions, field practices and evaluations. In culinary support at the Sumber Banteng Tourism location, this service activity involved 9 business people around the Sumber Banteng Tourism. The result of this dedication is that it can be seen that the participants have not maximized their business and social media for marketing their business. Through these results, it is very important to carry out assistance so that they can implement the material provided and innovate developments in information technology.

Abstract

Desa Tempursari merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Donomulyo yang memiliki intensitas curah hujan cukup tinggi dengan mayoritas penduduknya berprofesi sebagai petani dan peternak. Akan tetapi, pada musim kemarau Desa Tempursari tergolong daerah cukup gersang sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan yakni  berkurangnya ketersediaan rumput untuk pakan ternak dan kambing. Hal ini mengakibatkan peternak kesulitan untuk mendapatkan pakan ternak yang baik. Permasalahan ini akan berdampak buruk pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan hewan ternak karena kurangnya asupan pakan yang baik. Permasalahan tersebut perlu segera diatasi agar para peternak tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam mendapatkan pakan ternak pada musim kemarau dan hewan ternak tetap mendapatkan asupan yang baik. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah dengan pengembangan pusat pakan ternak kambing fermentasi organik di Desa Tempursari. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan ini adalah persiapan yang berupa survei dan analisa kebutuhan, pelaksanaan berupa pembuatan formula pakan fermentasi dan pendampingan pelatihan peningkatan mutu pangan, serta evaluasi dan laporan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa mesin pengolah pakan ternak fermentasi serta modul tentang pembuatan formula pakan organik fermentasi, strategi promosi, pengurusan izin edar, dan branding hasil pengolahan pakan organik.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to determine the relationship between time management so that motivation and learning achievement of vocational students can increase. Methodology: This research uses a quantitative approach with data analysis techniques used, namely descriptive analysis. The research was held at SMKN 6 Malang with a population of class XII DPIB totaling 64 people and samples were taken from the entire population. Data collection using questionnaire distribution. This instrument adopts previous research with validity and reliability values that have fulfilled the criteria. Main Findings: The results of descriptive analysis of time management get an average score of 29.02 or if the percentage is equal to 72.55% and has a meaning in the level of variable development, which is at a fairly high level. The effect of time management has an r square of 4.6%, although the variable is weak against the variables of motivation and learning achievement of vocational students but still has a positive effect. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study is to determine if time management has an effect on increasing the motivation and achievement of vocational students. The impact of this research is as a reference for future researchers to conduct research further. Then this research has an impact on schools and related agencies regarding time management arrangements in schools.
