Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media poster terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup kelas VII SMPN 2 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design.Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, kelas VII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII H sebagai kelas kontrol dengan teknik pengambilan sampel intact group. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen 16,66 sedangkan kelas kontrol 15,10. Hasil analisis uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung<-Ztabel(-2,60<-1,96), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media poster dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai Effect Size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,47 dengan kategori sedang sehingga model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media postermemberikan pengaruh sebesar 18,08% terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup kelas VII SMPN 2 Sungai Raya. Kata kunci: model Think Pair Share berbantuan media poster Abstract: This research aims to find out the effect of poster-aided Think Pair Share  learning model on student learning outcomes in the material of Living Organism Classification in the seventh grade of State Junior High School (SMPN) 2 Sungai Raya. The method used was the quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The samples are consisted of two classes, seventh grade class F as the experiment class and class H as the control class, while the sampling technique used was the intact group. The average student outcome in the experiment class was 16,66, while the control class 15,10. The results of the analysis using the U Mann-Whitney test show that Zcount< -Ztable (-2,60 < -1,96), meaning that there were significant differences between the learning outcomes of student taught using the poster-aided Think Pair Share and using the conventional learning model. The size effect value obtained was 0,47 in the category of moderate so that the poster-aided Think Pair Share learning model had an impact of 18,08% on the student learning outcomes in the material of living organism in the seventh grade of SMPN 2 Sungai Raya. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Make a Match disertai pocket book terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi Bryophyta kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah quasy exsperimental design dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitiannya yaitu kelas XB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XD sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel intact group. Instrumen yang digunakan tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 15.40, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol adalah 13.81. Hasil analisis uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung<-Ztabel yaitu -3.26<-1.96, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Make a Match disertai pocket book dengan yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional disertai power point. Nilai Effect Size diperoleh sebesar 0.87 dengan kategori tinggi, memberikan pengaruh sebesar 30.78%.Kata kunci: Model Make a Match, hasil belajar Bryophyta Abstract: This research aims to find out the effect of Make a Match learning model supplemented with a pocket book on the students’ learning outcomes in sub-material of Bryophyta in the Tenth Grade of State Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Sungai Raya. This research was quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. Research samples were class XB as the experimental class and XD as the control class, with a sampling technique of intact group. The instrument used was the multiple choice test with a total of 20 questions. The average student learning outcome in the experimental class was 15.40, while the control group was 13.81. The results of the U Mann- Whitney test analysis showed that Zcount<-Ztabel namely -3.26<-1.96, meaning that there were significant differences between the learning outcome of students taught using Make a Match learning  model supplemented with a pocket book and the learning outcomes of students taught using a conventional learning model with a power point presentation. The effect size value obtained was 0.87 with falling into the high category, having an effect of 30.78%.Keywords: Make a Match model, learning outcome Bryophyta

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Think Pair Share disertai Mind Mapping terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi gerak tumbuhan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design) dengan rancangan Nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah dengan caraIntact grup.Rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model Think Pair Share disertai Mind Mapping sebesar 17,17 lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 14,82. Dari uji U Mann Whitney, diperoleh Zhitung< Ztabel yaitu -4.26 < -1,96,Nilai effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 1.18 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 38,10%,dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model Think Pair Share disertai Mind Mapping berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi gerak pada tumbuhan kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. Kata Kunci: Model Think Pair Share, Mind Mapping, Materi Gerak Tumbuhan.   Abstrack: The aim of this research was to find out the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share model Mind Mapping on students learning outcome in the plant motion material in class VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. This research was a Quasi Experimental Design with a non equivalent control group. The sampling technique was done through the intact group. The average score of student learning outcomes taught using the Think Pair Share model with Mind Mapping was 17,17 which was higher than the average score of student learning outcomes taught using conventional instruction at 14,82. From the U Mann Whitney test , it was obtained that Zcount < Ztabel namely -4,26 < 1,96, The effect size value obtained was 1,18 which was in the high category and contributed to 38,10%, so it can be concluded that learning througt the Think Pair Share model with Mind Mapping had  a positive effect on the student learning outcomes in the material of plant motion in class VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning talking stick assisted leaflet models on student learning result motion systemin human materials in class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. Form of research of quasy experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used was intact group, with class VIII A as experiment class and class VIII B as control class. The instrument is a multiple choice test of 20 items. The results showed the score an average learning result of the experimental class is 16.48 while the control class is 14.67. Based on U-Mann-Whitney test result, it is obtained Z count (-6,78) <-Z table (-1,96), it can be concluded  that there difference between student learning result which is taught using cooperative talking leaflet-assisted talking stick model and conventional model. The effect size value obtained was 1,27 with a category of moderate and gave the effect of  39,80%. Keywords : Talking stick, Leaflet, learning result, motion system in humans

Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this study was to investigate students’ difficulty, level of learning difficulties and factors causing students’ learning difficulties in protist at SMAN 1 Kembayan. Descriptive study with case study approach was applied in this study. The sample of the study was 10thgrade students of SMAN 1 Kembayan academic year of 2016/2017. For collecting data, three instruments were utilized particularly diagnostic test, questionnaire, and interview. Diagnostic test was applied to identify students’ learning difficulty and to ascertain factors that influence students’ learning difficulty, questionnaire and interview were applied. The findings indicate that percentage of students’ difficulty in learning and understanding protist was 58% and it was categorized to be difficult especially on sub-material of chracteristics of animal-likeprotist (70.59%). Students’ learning difficulty was categorized into three levels that are light (level 1), moderate (level 2), and severe (level 3). The average percentage of each category was light (23.53%), moderate (64.71%) and severe (11.76%). Factors that influence students’ difficulty in learning and understanding protist encompass internal factor, specifically 66% and it was categorized to be moderate and external factor, distinctively 55.67% and it was categorized to be moderate as well.Keywords: Learning Difficulties, Diagnostic Test, Protist

Abstract

The research aimed to find out the effect of scientific approach using newspaper on student achievement and student activity on environmental pollution material ingrade X Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. This was a quasi experimental study using nonequivalent control group design. The samples of the research were grade X MIA 1 as an experimental group,  andgrade X  MIA 2 as ancontrolgroup. The instrument employed was multiple choice test consisting 20 question and observation sheet of student activity. The average score for student achievement on experimental group was 14,86 and 13,29 for control group. Based on Mann Whitney U test for Zcount(-2,42) < -Ztabel(-1,96), there was a significant difference between student achievement that used newspaper and picture those who did not use these media. The effect size score was 0,67 (moderate) gave effec tby 24,82%. Student activity on experimental group improvedby 7,41% and 4,29% for control group. It is shown that scientific approach using newspaper had an impact on student achievement and student activity on environmental pollution material ingrade X Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Abstract

  AbstractThe research aimed at knowing the effect of cooperative learning with jigsaw and flashcard on student’s achievement in fungi material for grade X SMA Negeri 1 Sajad. The research was Quasi Experimental Design with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of the study was two classes of grade X where grade XA was as experimental group and grade XB was as control group, with a sampling technique of saturated sampling. The instrument used multiple questions consisting 20 questions. According to data analysis result, the average score of posttest in experimental group was 17,82 and in control group was 14,89. Based on U Mann Whitney test, Zcount<-Ztable (-4,01<-1,96) showing that there was significant difference between student’s achievement using cooperative learning with jigsaw and flashcard and student’s achievement using conventional learning. Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa  yang diajar dengan model Discovery Learning dan Inkuiri pada materi ekosistem di kelas X IPA MAN 1 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan Nonequivalent control group design. KelasIPA 3 (Discovery Learning) dan kelas X IPA 2 (Inkuiri) sebagai sampel,dengan teknik Intact Group sebagai pengambilan sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 butir. Berdasakan skor rata-rata hasil belajar dan persentase ketuntasan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model Inkuiri sebesar 17,11 dan 93,75% lebih tinggi dibandingkan menggunakan model Discovery Learning sebesar 13,34 dan 54,29% pada materi ekosistem di kelas X. Untuk melihat perbandingan hasil belajar siswa dapat ditunjukan dari hasil uji U Mann-Whitney dimana hasil perhitungan diperoleh Zhitung < Ztabel (-5,23 < -1,96), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model Inkuiridan model Discovery Learning. Kata kunci: Discovery Learning, Inkuiri, dan Hasil Belajar Abstract: This research aims to compare the student learning outcomes taught with the Discovery learning model and Inquiry in the lesson on ecosystem in the tenth grade of natural science class (IPA) MAN 1 Pontianak. The research used a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The IPA class 3 ( Discovery Learning) and IPA class 2 (Inquiry)  as a sample, with techniquesIntact Group as sampling. The instrument used was the multiple choice test with 20 items in total. The average score of learning outcomes and the percentage of students? mastery taught using the Inquiry model were 17,11 and 93,75% respectively, which were higher than using Discovery Learning model scoring 13,34 and 54,29% in the ecosystem material in the tenth grade class. The comparison between student learning outcomes can be seen from the results of the U Mann-Whitney test where Zcount<Ztable (-5,23 < -1,96), meaning that there were no significant differences between the learning outcomes of students taught using the Inquiry model and the Discovery Learning model.Keywords : Discovery Learning, Inquiry and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis research seeks to identity the effect of guided inquiry learning model toward students? motivation and their achievement on a lesson about virus at Grade X of SMA 2 Sungai Ambawang. The research used quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. Data for this research were collected through intact group. Class XC was categorised as a experimental group and Class XA was referred to the control group. The research instruments were motivational questionnaires and tests. The result showed that the average percentage of motivation between experimental and control groups were 82.78% and 78.22%. The results of the Mann-Whitney U test, obtained by Zcount (-1.98) < -Ztable (-1.96) means that there are significant differences between the learning outcomes of students taught using Guided Inquiry and conventional learning models. Further, the mean value for test result were 14.67 and 13.37. The effect size was 0.46 which can be classified medium and had an effect by 17.72%. Keyword: Guided inquiry, learning motivation, virus test result

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan flipbook terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMPN 2 Sejangkung kelas VII pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan. Bentuk penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII C dan kelas VII B, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel intact group. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 30 butir. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 18,74 dan 16,31. Berdasarkan hasil uji t1 diperoleh t1 ≥ nKt1 (2,61≥1,70), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan flipbook dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional berbantuan charta.Nilaieffect sizeyang diperoleh sebesar 0,90 dengan kategori tinggi dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 31,59% terhadap hasil belajar siswa. This research was a quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The samples were VII C and VII B, which was taken by intact group. The instrument was multiple choice test with 30 questions. From the data analysis, student’s mean learning outcome experiment and control class were 18,74 and 16,31. According to t1 test, t1 ≥ nKt1 (2,61 ≥ 1,70), it means there are differences between students who is teaching by cooperative learning model type STAD helped by flipbook with students who is teaching by conventional model helped by charta. The value of effect size is 0,90 with highcategory and contribution in 31,59% toward learning outcome. Key words: Flipbook, Learning Outcome, Cooperative Learning Model Type of STAD
