Abstract

The objective of the study is to develop the educational model of cultural values based on the classical batik’s Surakarta arts tradition in order to strengthen the nation characters and national identity. The research was done by using the research and development method. In collecting the data, the researcher conducted several ways, as follow: interview, library research, forum group discussion and classroom action research. The qualitative analysis was used for conducting the need analysis as the first step of research and development activity and the quantitative analysis and the quasi-experiment were done to get the validation model. The result of this study showed that cultural values taught in junior high school were same as the character building education as a whole. The implementation of each character buildings stood on its own of each subjects and could be inserted into the guidance and counseling subject and the civics subject. Moreover, it was, then, defined that the educational model of cultural values based on the classical batik’s Surakarta arts tradition was integrated to the social science subject as the model development of the character building. Keywords: model, education, cultural values, classical batik Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan nilai-nilai budaya  di SMP  berbasis Tradisi  Seni Batik  Klasik  Surakarta sebagai Upaya Penguatan Karakter Bangsa dan Identitas  Nasional. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut penelitian dilakukan dengan Research and Development. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, metode simak, FGD, observasi, dan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Pada tahap penelitian pendahuluan dan pengembangan model digunakan  analisis Kualitatif. Tahap validasi model digunakan eksperimen semu dan analisis Kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendidikan nilai di SMP implementasinya sama dengan pendidikan budi pekerti. Implementasi pendidikan budi pekerti pada masing-masing satuan pendidikan (SMP) belum ada kesamaan yakni berdiri sendiri sebagai mata pelajaran dan digabungkan dengan Bimbingan dan Konseling atau PKN. Untuk itu, di rumuskan Draf strategi dan model PNBBTBK (Pendidikan Nilai Budaya berbasis Tradisi Seni Batik Klasik) melalui Integrasi dalam pembelajaran IPS sebagai pengembangan model Pendidikan Budi Nilai Budaya. Abstract

AbstrakKepemimpinan merupakan komponen yang sangat penting bagi eksistensi suatu bangsa dan masyarakat. Realitasnya bangsa Indonesia sedang mengalami krisis kepemimipinan. Di satu sisi pemimpin mengalami kegamangan dalam memilih tipe kepemimpinan yang tepat untuk memimpin negeri ini. Di sisi lain semua orang mendambakan figur kepemimpinan yang dapat diandalkan, dipercaya, dan dapat mengaktualisasikan perubahan-perubahan konstruktif. Krisis kepemimpinan disebabkan antara lain; pertama, persoalan kepemimpinan yang dihadapi bangsa ini adalah karena model pemimpin yang sudah dibangun dimasyarakat adalah sesuatu yang salah. Proses untuk menghasilkan pemimpin tidak mendukung untuk menghasilkan produk pemimpin yang benar. Kedua, situasi Indonesia sekarang karena konsep kita belum terbangun menyiapkan pemimpin, sehingga muncul politisi aktor dadakan atau kepemimpinan transaksional. Upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan  menggali nilai-nilai kearifan lokal berupa kepemimpinan dan kebijakan hidup untuk dijadikan pegangan para pemimpin. Salah satu karya sastra Jawa yang mengandung ajaran kepemimpinan yaitu Serat Wedhatama karya Mangkunegara IV. Dengan demikian perlu dilakukan reaktualisasi terhadap ajaran kepemimpinan dalam Serat Wedhatama. Ajaran kepemimpinan dalam Serat Wedhatama diharuskan untuk memegang teguh, aturan dan kewajiban hidup warisan leluhur, yaitu wirya-arta-winasis. Wirya adalah keluhuran atau kekuasaan, arta adalahharta, dan winasis merupakan ilmu pengetahuan. Ketiga pedoman hidup ini haruslah dicapai semuanya, apabila satu hal dari tiga hal itu tidak dapat diraih, maka habislah harga diri manusia, lebih berharga dari daun jati kering, akhirnya hanya mendapatkan derita, jadi pengemis dan terlunta-lunta.Kata kunci: Reaktualisasi; Kepemimpinan; Serat Wedhatama

Abstract

Javanese Christianity construction is not only built on the basis of biblical interpretation. Discourse and knowledge contained in literary texts show the existence of acceptance capacity, communication patterns and adjustments to the cultural context, as well as the important role of the agency. Dharmogandul manuscript is a text that is part of the construction of ideas, values, ideas, about Christianity that is understood by Javanese people. This study aims to examine the dynamics of the Dharmogandul fiber texts and discourses with genealogy approaches, connect and compare with the thoughts of Kiai Ibrahim Tunggul Wulung as a real life context, as well as psychological figures that provide worldview to the Christian community in Tegalombo, Pati. Exploring Dharmogandul fiber genealogy shows that the text originated from the concept of religiosity, in the historical development there was a shift in the meaning of Dharmogandul fiber in syncretic direction, until it became attached and became part of the comparison of formalistic religion. The results of the study showed some contradictions and comparisons in accommodating the discourse of meeting several religions in the Dharmogandul fiber with the real conditions of the Tegalombo Christian community. [Kontruksi Kristen Kejawen tidak hanya dibangun atas dasar penafsiran kitabiah. Wacana dan pengetahuan yang termuat dalam teks sastra menunjukkan adanya kapasitas penerimaan, pola komunikasi, dan penyesuaian konteks kultur, serta peran penting agency. Serat Dharmogandul merupakan salah satu teks yang menjadi bagian dari kontruksi ide, nilai dan gagasan mengenai kekristenan yang dipahami masyarakat Jawa.  Penelitian  ini bertujuan  menelaah dinamika teks dan wacana serat Dharmogandul dengan pendekatan geneologi serta menghubungkan dan membandingkannya dengan pemikiran Kiai Ibrahim Tunggul Wulung sebagai real life context, sekaligus figur psikologis yang memberikan worldview terhadap komunitas Kristen di Tegalombo, Pati. Jelajah geneologi serat Dharmogandul menunjukkan bahwa teks berawal dari konsep religiusitas kemudian bergesr ke arah sinkretis lalu menjadi bagian dari perbandingan agama formal. Hasil penelitian menujukkan pertentangan dan perbandingan dalam mengakomodasi wacana perjumpaan beberapa agama dalam serat Dharmogandul dengan kondisi riil komunitas Kristen Tegalombo.]

Abstract

Serat Jangka Jayabaya is a literary work that can be used as a source of historical learning. The local genius of Javanese worldview is reflected in humanism values in the manuscript. Which is much misunderstood by most people even historians. This study uses qualitative research methods that reveal the value of Jayabaya humanism based on content, authorship and axiological manuscripts through interviews and literature studies. The results show that the concept of "jangka" is the guidance as well as the control of Java society in viewing various social phenomena. The guidelines are summarized in the concept of humanism values reflected as knowledge, equity, equality, dignity, and moral ethics.

Abstract

This article intends to reveal Syaikh Ahmad al-Mutamakkin's neo-Sufism thoughts and his role in campaigning for the renewal of Islamic thought and changes in the social order of people's lives in Java in the 18th century. The discussion will focus on the domain of epistemological conflicts that legitimize al-Mutamakkin as a controversial contemporary Sufi. Historical exploration and appreciation will be more emphasized to fully look for facts about the teachings developed by al-Mutamakkin. This research is historical research using a herme­neutic approach to study and trace the artifacts of al-Mutamakkin's thoughts. This study found that al-Mutamakkin was a reformist figure who played an active role in upholding Islamic teachings as a universal religion and eternal through an eclectic and conformist approach to the existence of local wisdom values (local wisdom). As a reformist figure who carried the breath of renewal of the teachings of Sufism (neo-Sufism), al-Mutamakkin strongly criticized the teachings of Sufism developed by the Mataram elite. The king-Sufi political conception commonly adopted by the court elite in the 18th century in al-Mutamakkin's perspective was a form of betrayal of the teachings of Sufism. Therefore, in his perspective, the teachings of Sufism must be improved and adjusted to the proper khittah, namely as an instrument of self-formation and development of perfect human beings (insān kāmil) which is adjusted and guided by Allah's revelation and the Prophet's Sunnah.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the integration of peace education as the reinforcement of social skill reinforcement in Social Science learning. Qualitative research method was employed in this study. Data source included teachers, documents, and library study. Data collection was carried out using interview, questionnaire, and document and literature source analysis. Interview and questionnaire were used to explore the respondents’ perspective on peace education for developing social skill in Social Science learning. The subjects agreeing to participate in this study were Social Science teachers in Junior High School consisting of 20 teachers. The participants were selected using purposive sampling. Data validation was conducted using method triangulation and data analysis using an interactive model of analysis encompassing data reduction, data display, and data verification. From the result of research, it could be concluded that Social Science teachers in Surakarta had positive perception that peace education in Social Science learning can be used to reinforce social skill.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan integrasi pendidikan perdamaian sebagai penguatan penguatan keterampilan sosial dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Sosial. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sumber data termasuk guru, dokumen, dan studi perpustakaan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara, kuesioner, dan analisis sumber dokumen dan literatur. Wawancara dan kuesioner digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi perspektif responden tentang pendidikan perdamaian untuk mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Sosial. Subyek yang setuju untuk berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru Ilmu Sosial di SMP yang terdiri dari 20 guru. Para peserta dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Validasi data dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi metode dan analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, tampilan data, dan verifikasi data. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru Ilmu Sosial di Surakarta memiliki persepsi positif bahwa pendidikan perdamaian dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Sosial dapat digunakan untuk memperkuat keterampilan sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Muaro Jambi temple site as an object of local history learning in the digital era. The problems discussed in the article are: (1) How does the Muaro Jambi Temple can be used as local history object of study? (2) How does the Muaro Jambi Temple could be used as the object of local history learning in digital era? To answer the two problems, authors conducted literature study method by collecting several articles from research results related to the research theme. Data collection is done by analyzing the source documents and literature. The results of this study indicate that the use of historical relics in the surrounding environment can lead to effective learning, coupled with the application of local history learning material using interactive media that follows the times, such as videos, digital books, and the internet. In addition to giving rise to effective, interesting, and interactive learning, of course, the purpose of this utilization is to increase historical knowledge of learners, especially on local historical material.

Abstract

Abstract: Legal awareness is an important value for the nation building. The legal awareness of Indonesian people is indicated below average. Supposed to make advancement, every people of Indonesian should have a high level of legal awareness. Education offers a solution for this problem. By engaging in education, students are expected to enhance their legal awareness. Using reflective pedagogy paradigm, this study assumed that student can be engaged to contemplate themselves, are they law-abiding citizens? Using a concept of ancient Triprangama law, students are persuaded to cultivate legal awareness though social studies education. The aim of this article is to describe the learning concept to promote the legal awareness of student with social studies subject matter that integrated with Triprangama concept with reflective pedagogy approach.

Abstract

Globalization has a negative influence that has an impact on shifting the orientation of the value of life, so local wisdom is needed as a means of protection. Local wisdom contains positive values that can be passed on to the current generation as a way of life. The purpose of this study is to provide an alternative to social studies learning with a constructivist approach as an effort to strengthen value education. The research method used is through a literature study. This article will describe the history of the ulur-ulur tradition, the procession of ulur-ulur, and alternative conceptual ideas of the McClintock and Black constructivism model which consists of seven stages, namely observation, interpretation construction, contextualization, learning cognitive skills, collaboration, multiple interpretations, and multiple manifestations.Globalisasi membawa pengaruh negatif yang berdampak pada pergeseran orientasi nilai kehidupan maka diperlukan kearifan lokal sebagai sarana proteksi. Kearifan lokal memiliki kandungan nilai-nilai positif yang dapat diwariskan kepeda generasi saat ini sebagai pegangan hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini memberikan alternatif pembelajaran IPS dengan pendekatan konstruktivisme sebagai upaya untuk penguatan pendidikan nilai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan melalui studi pustaka. Artikel ini akan memaparkan sejarah tradisi ulur-ulur, prosesi upacara ulur-ulur dan alternatif gagasan konseptual model konstruktivisme McClintock dan Black yang terdiri atas tujuh tahapan yaitu observasi, konstruksi interpretasi, kontekstualisasi, belajar keahlian kognitif, kolaborasi, interpretasi jamak, dan manifestasi jamak.
