Abstract

Industrial waste management, especially industrial waste water usually is carried out using a high mechanical system, which is need a relative expensive cost. This is not adjustable for small and medium scale industry. The industrial waste, especially industrial waste water is a potential element for environmental degradation. Actually some of specific matter on industrial waste water is possible to use for agriculture to increase the essential soils matter and can improve the physical and chemical soils fertility as a cheap fertilizer. The main matter and the form process of the soils give a special character and varienty. This character influences the physical and chemical quality of soils. With the presence of this character and quality, soils have three functions : as a filter, as a buffer and as a system changer. Based on the soils charactistic  and quality, soils can be useful for environmental sanitation of industrial waste water. Soils can be used another efficient alternative for waste water industrial management, especially for small and medium scale industry.   ABSTRAK  Pengelolaan limbah industri, terutama limbah cair biasanya dilakukan dengan sistem mekanis tinggi yang membutuhkan biaya relatif mahal. Kenyataan ini mengakibatkan industry kecil dan skala menengah tidak mungkin melaksanakannya. Limbah industry, utamanya limbah cair industri merupakan usnur potensial bagi ancaman kelestarian kemampuan lingkungan. Namun sebetulnya unsur-unsur tertentu dalam limbah cair tersebut punya kemungkinan untuk dimanfaatkan oleh sector pertanian, yaitu dapat menambah kandungan nilai hara dalam tanah. Berarti bermanfaat sebagai bahan untuk perbaikan kesuburan fisika dan kimiawi tanah, dengan demikian berfungsi sebagai cara pemupukan yang murah. Sifat dan jenis tanah sangat ditentukan oleh batuan induk dan proses pembentukan tanah itu sendiri. Keadaan ini akan berpengaruh terhadap sifat-sifat fisika dan kimiawi tanah.

Abstract

The physical properties of plastic soles especially flexible soles and spons soles for footwear (shoes, sandals, etc) are very important. This physical properties are : tensile strength; elongation at break; tensile stress at 100%; hardness; density; tear resistance; permanen set; abrasion resistance and flexing. The type of plastic material used for flexible and spons plastic soles, as recorded by infrared spectrophotometry analysis indicate that most of them are made by PVC. Physical test result shown that plastics soles can be graded into three categories in comparation with the specification of the IIS (Indonesian Industial Standard) number SII 1103 – 84.

Abstract

The objectivea of this study is to determine right amount of DOP content in PVC Sole Compound made from the mixture of non reclaimed PVC material and reclaimed PVC materials, in order to increase its tensile strenght, tensile stretch and elongation at break.With basic formula which contains non reclaimed PVC materials 60 phr *), reclaimed PVC materials 40 phr, epoxy 6 phr, BaCdZn 2 phr, CaCO3 10 phr, Carbon black 0,05 phr and DOP 60 phr, it can be found that the sole compound meets the SII 1103-84 “Sol Lentur cetak PVC”. The physical properties of the sole compound as tensile strength, tensile stretch and elongation at break should be ancreased anyway, because the result showed that the figures close to the minium standard.A study on preparation of sole compound mode with DOP content of 60 phr, 50 phr and 40 phr hqd been conducted. In order ti increase the physical properties of the sole compound such as tensile strength, tensile stretch ang elongation at break. After being vulcanizead, the sole then were tested in accordance with SII 1103-84 “ Sol lentur cetak PVC”.There is no significant difference in the physical properties between the addition of 60 phr DOP and 50 phr and 40 phr DOP, while the addition of 50 phr and 40 phr DOP does not significantly affect the best. An addition of 50 phr and 40 phr of DOP contet can increase the physical properties such as tensile strength, tensile stretch, elongation at break, permanent set, abrasion resistance and tear strength. The right amount of DOP wich can be added to PVC compound for sole using the mentined above is 40 phr.

Abstract

The Indonesia population lived in urban has in creased rapidly and the number will be 50% of the total Indonesia population in the second Phase Loug Term Development. Indutrialisation centered at town and the higher capacity of development at town become a power of attraction  for people  to move town. The diversity of culture, etnic, education  and social level background make the manpowers with minimum capitals gathered in a slum  area and are not be able  to be served by urban facilities, where as for the town it self, in this globalization era, towns which are served with International Communication facilities and the isolated areas. This situation and condition on makes the isolated areas will  be deeply isolated. It make possible an economic and social gap that is able to create an crime-infested. Prevention or at bast minindization of this can be strove by an  issue of an arrangement and goverment policy on the determination o f industrial-  development Area thtought an arrangement of Area Lay – Outing, UURI No. 24, 1992 Concering “Lay Outing”. ABSTRAK Proporsi penduduk Indonesia  yang tinggal di daerah perkotaan terus meningkat dengan pesat, dan akan menjadi 50% dari total seluruh pendudukan Indonesia pada PJPT II. Industrialisasi yang terpusat   di kota dan hasil pembangunan  yang lebih tinggi di kota, merupakan daya tarik bagi penduduk untuk berurbanisasi ke kota. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find upper leather from splitted leather with proportional ratio of impregnating agent. The raw material used were split hide, and subjected to combination tanning process, consisted of chrome, synthetic and extract mimosa tanning agent, to get crust leather, and than were impregnated with the ratio of film forming with penetrator agent and finally they were finished with top all of the treatments fulfill/conform the requirements of SII 0018-79. There is significance difference in physical testing results. INTISARI  Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan kulit atasan sepatu dari kulit belahan sapi dengan perbandingan bahan impregnasi yang tepat. Bahan yang dipakai adalah kulit belahan sapi, dengan proses penyamakan kombinasi antara bahan penyamak krom, sintetik dan ekstrak mimosa sampai diperoleh kulit kras, diimpregnasi dengan variasi pada bahan film forming dan penetrator, kemudian dicat tutup. Semua variasi yang dilakukan menghasilkan kulit atasan sepatu yang memenuhi persyaratan SII 0018-79, Mutu dan cara uji kulit boks. Ada beda nyata untuk uji sifat-sifat fisika.
