Abstract

ABSTRACT: Based on the observations of researchers in learning social studies found that students were less active in the learning process IPS. Students are less interested in social studies because during social studies only considered as subjects only rote and less emphasis on affective and psychomotor aspects. Teacher-centered learning, teaching methods are less effective, do not use the lesson plan (RPP), do not use the medium of learning, students are less given the opportunity for creativity, students are not encouraged to find a concept but indicated concepts to keep in mind, students easily forget what who had previously remembered because learning is limited to reading a book or listening to an explanation. Consequently the results of social studies is very low, of 33 students, who thoroughly studied only 14 students of completeness criteria 65. Thus, researchers conducted a study to solve these problems. The purpose of this study were (1) Describe the application of the method of problem solving with the media image series in improving learning outcomes in teaching social studies for class IV SDN Turi 01 Town Blitar, and (2) Describe the improvement of learning outcomes in teaching social studies for class IV SDN Turi 01 Town Blitar. Data collected by observation, observation, document, and test. Results of the study are: (1) an increase in activity of student learning through the application of methods of problem solving, (2) an increase in student learning outcomes through the implementation of the application of problem solving methods, and (3) of 33 students only one of students who have not completed thereafter learning activities for two cycles because of relatively slow learning students.   Keywords: Problem Solving Methods, Media Image Series, Results Learning, Learning IPS ABSTRAK: Berdasarkan observasi peneliti dalam pembelajaran IPS ditemukan bahwa siswa kurang aktif dalam proses belajar mengajar IPS. Siswa kurang tertarik dengan mata pelajaran IPS karena selama ini mata pelajaran IPS hanya dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran hafalan saja dan kurang menekankan pada aspek afektif dan psikomotor. Pembelajaran berpusat pada guru, metode mengajar kurang efektif, tidak menggunakan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran, siswa kurang diberi kesempatan untuk berkreatifitas, siswa tidak diajak untuk menemukan konsep tetapi ditunjukkan konsep yang harus selalu diingat, siswa mudah lupa dengan apa yang sudah diingat sebelumnya karena pembelajaran terbatas pada kegiatan membaca buku atau mendengar penjelasan. Akibatnya hasil belajar IPS sangat rendah yaitu dari 33 siswa, yang tuntas belajar hanya 14 siswa dari kriteria ketuntasan 65. Sehingga peneliti melakukan penelitian untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mendeskripsikan penerapan metode problem solving dengan media gambar seri dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS bagi kelas IV SDN Turi 01 Kota Blitar, dan (2) Mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS bagi kelas IV SDN Turi 01 Kota Blitar. Data dikumpulkan dengan pengamatan, observasi, dokumen, dan tes. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode problem solving, (2) terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan penerapan metode problem solving, dan (3) dari 33 siswa hanya satu siswa yang belum tuntas setelah dilaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran selama dua siklus karena tergolong siswa lambat belajar.   Kata kunci: Metode Problem solving, Media Gambar Seri, Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran IPS,

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) to produce instructional media sock puppets which are practical,attractive, effective and efficient in improving speaking skills of elementary school students, (2)to determine the steps of making media sock puppets to improve speaking skills elementary schoolstudents, and (3) to test the feasibility of instructional media products which include practicality, theattractiveness, effectiveness and efficiency of the product. This study uses a model of the development of amodified Borg Gall. The steps of this research, namely (1) Preliminary Study, (2) Planning, (3) DesignProducts, (4) Product Validation, (5) Trial Product, and (6) End Product. The practical implications ofthis research is to develop the basic capabilities of cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning funthrough the media. The use of storytelling with a sock puppet media proved to meet these objectives.

Data yang dikumpulkan adalah datasiswa berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan caraobservasi, tes, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Hasilpenelitian pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Heads Together (NHT) menunjukkanpeningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Proses peningkatanhasil belajar diketahui bahwa siklus I pada kegiatan pre tes sebesar 6,25% meningkatmenjadi 65,63% pada kegiatan pos tes namun masih belum memenuhi syarat ketuntasanklasikal yang ditetapkan sekolah. Setelah peneliti melakukan perbaikan pada siklus IIpada kegiatan pre tes diketahui bahwa ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 15,63%meningkat menjadi 93,75%  pada kegiatan pos tes dan telah memenuhi syaratketuntasan klasikal yang ditetapkan sekolah yakni ≥ 75% dengan begitu telah terjadipeningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas V sebesar 28,12% Berdasarkan hasiltersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pelaksanaan penerapan metode pembelajaran

Abstract

Tenun merupakan salah satu kesenian khas Indonesia yang telah berabad-abad hidup dan berkembang, serta mempunyai nilai-nilai filosofi yang menjadi bagian dari kebudayaan Indonesia. Tenun ikat atau kain ikat adalah karya tenun Indonesia berupa kain yang ditenun dari helaian benang pakan atau benang lungsin yang sebelumnya diikat dan dicelupkan ke dalam zat pewarna alami. Alat tenun yang dipakai adalah alat tenun bukan mesin. Kediri merupakan salah satu daerah yang juga memiliki potensi produk tenun ikat dengan produknya Industri tenun di Kediri menjadi salah satu penopang ekonomi sebagian kecil masyarakat. Karena adanya industri tersebut telah menyerap tenaga kerja, meminimalkan pengangguran dan juga berperan sebagai pelestari budaya Indonesia. Untuk mengetahui dinamika industry tenun ikat di Kediri ditarik rumusan masalah (1) Bagaimana perkembangan tenun di Kediri? (2) Bagaimana dinamika industri tenun di kediri?. Perkembangan tenun ikat di Kediri sudah mulai merambat naik. Awal dari kemunculan kain tenun ikat sampai saat ini banyak sekali mengalami perubahan. Dinamika industri tenun ikat yang mengalami pasang surut sudah mulai stabil. Para pengerajin dengan mesin tradisional yaitu alat tenun bukan mesin (ATBM) dapat menciptakan motif naturalisme yang berhubungan dengan alam.

Abstract

This study aims to; (1) do need assesment of students and teachers for the development of learning media in form of comic; (2) do validation by media experts, material experts, and language experts; (3) examine the effectiveness of the developed comic toward enhancement of the ability to decipher messages in fairy tales. This research and development applied ADDIE Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) model. The population of this study is 3rd grade students of SDN Sukorame 2 Elementary School. Data collection methods by observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. Evaluation of the validity of instructional media involved of five material experts and media experts. The result of this study find: (1) Teachers and students need the development of comic based on local wisdom. (2) The validation score by the material expert is 89%, by the media expert is 82%, and by the language expert is 84.44%. (3) The effectiveness of developed comic can be seen from the questionnaire and pre-post test result. The pretest score is 68 and the posttest score is 84. Meanwhile the teacher questionnaire score is 92% and student questionnaire score is 93.75%. Based on these results, the comic developed is needed for students and teachers, very valid, and very effective.

Abstract

This research is based on the observation in the third grade of Natural Science (IPA) subject matter of healthy and unhealthy environment characteristic, that most of students have difficulty in learning because the teacher uses conventional teaching method. In addition, the use of learning media is considered less maximized by teachers. This research is research and development (R & D) with model of ADDIE development. Stages there are 5 stages namely 1) Analysis (Analysis), Development (Design), Implementation (Implementation), Evaluation (Evaluation). Validation is done by material experts, media experts, and classroom teachers. The conclusion of this research is (1) Result of Development of Pop Up Book media with material to distinguish the characteristics of healthy and unhealthy environment Valid. (2) The teachers response to the learning media of Pop Up Book that was developed, after being used in learning material, characteristic of healthy and unhealthy environment obtained good response. Likewise the response of students to this media get a positive response. (3) Pop Up Book media characteristics of a healthy and unhealthy environment based on the overall assessment of the percentage of assessment is in the category of very appropriate to be used as a medium of learning Natural Science for grade 3 primary school students. Based on the conclusions of this study, recommended: (1) for teachers, one of the media that can be used in supporting the learning process is Pop Up Book, can help students become more active and can create a fun class atmosphere. (2) For further research, trials should be conducted more widely, so as to produce a widely used learning medium.

Abstract

Permasalah optimalisasi human capasity empowering untuk meningkatkan eksistensi sentra UKM tenun ikat khas kediri berbasis data kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional terhadap turnover intention. Tujuan dari penelitian ini (1) Menguji pengaruh parsial dan pengaruh simultan (2) Menghasilkan gambaran Optimalisasi (3) Merancang pengelompokkan karakter. (4) Mendeskripsikan Optimalisasi (5) Menghasilkan referensi empiris Optimalisasi Human Capasity Empowering untuk Meningkatkan Power Full Sentra UKM Tenun Ikat Khas Kediri berdasarkan kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional terhadap turnover intention Pengrajin (pemilik dan pekerja) UKM. Metode penelitian dengan teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data. Identifikasi data (jenis dan sumber data), objek penelitian adalah seluruh Pengrajin (pemilik dan pekerja) sentra tenun ikat Kelurahan Bandar Kidul di Kota Kediri. Populasi sebanyak 95 orang. Metode pengumpulan data primer dari hasil kuesioner tertutup dengan skala linkert berdimensi lima selanjutnya dijelaskan dengan statistik deskriptif.  Data primer dari hasil observasi dan wawancara. Sedangkan data sekunder dari dokumen-dokumen berkaitan Tenun Ikat di Sentra Pengrajin Tenun Ikat Bandar Kidul Kediri di Kota Kediri, Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kota Kediri, Kadin Kota Kediri, Dinas Perdagangan, Pertambangan, dan Energi Kota Kediri dan Biro Pusat Statistik Kota Kediri. Metode analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian Pola kenyataan memiliki dominan pengaruh karena memiliki pengaruh 60%, sedangkan pola harapan memiliki pengaruh yang kurang dominan yaitu 46%. Sehingga dari dua pola ini perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan mencari variabel lain yang mempengaruhi. Responden  karakter  yang  berbeda  berdampak terhadap variatifnya hasil pengembangan teori tentang  potensi dari variabel X1, X2, dan Y yang digunakan yaitu:  sangat  rendah, rendah, cukup, dan tinggi. Sedangkan yang sangat tinggi tidak ada pada variabel kepuasan kerja (X1), komitmen organisasional (X2) dan turnover intention (Y). Disamping itu tingkat variatif juga dalam hal yang dialami, yaitu kenyataan tinggi, harapan tinggi, dan kenyataan sama dengan harapan. Pengembangan selanjutnya berkenaan Optimalisasi Human Capasity Empowering untuk meningkatkan power full sentra UKM melalui manifestasi 4 kecerdasan, yaitu: kecerdasan spiritual (nurani), kecerdasan fisik (disiplin), kecerdasan emosional (gairah), kecerdasan intelektual (visi).

Abstract

From the observation results of research on class IV SDN Prambon Nganjuk, found some obstacles in learning the practice of IPS. Constraints of the teacher in the learning infrastructure is inadequate in elementary school and the teachers do not use the media to learn the lessons. Constraints of the students are students who have not been actively involved in learning social studies class. This study aims to describe the activities conducted teacher in learning activities using the media snake ladder, describe the students in learning activities using the media ladder snake, described the improvement of student learning through the media interest in snakes and ladders and describe the constraints of students through the medium of snakes and ladders in teaching social studies. In this research use classroom activities reseach. Subject and location of reseach is student of fourth class SDN Tanjungtani 3 Prambon Nganjuk, which consist of 27 students, 15 male students and 12 female students. In this reseach, reseacher using reseach instrument as data processing activities for teacher, student activities for students, students interest and interviews. Based on the results of learning activities using the media snakes and ladders to get a very good response from students. This can be evidenced teacher observations and student activities, teacher observations in cycle III reached 87.5% and the observation of the student activity a score 85.7%. Besides the interest of the students show great interest in, this proved to achieve a score of 34.3. So snakes and leader media use to learning activities in class for study increase interest.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi hasil pengamatan dan pengalaman peneliti, bahwa pendidikan di sekolah dasar lebih cenderung menitikberatkan pada pembelajaran konvensional, sehingga siswa kurang terlibat aktif berpikir secara kritis dan kreatif dalam proses pembelajaran disekolah. Hal ini mengakibatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran kurang. Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah pengaruh penggunaan media sosial sebagai sumber pembelajaran IPS terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif dan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas V. Jenis desain penelitian ada lah non-equivalent control group design pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Kota Kediri. Digunakan beberapa instrumen untuk mendukung penelitian ini yaitu Pengukuran motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan angket motivasi belajar, di analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Pengukuran kemampuan berpikir kritis menggunakan rubrik kemampuan berpikir kritis terintegrasi dengan tes kognitif, dan pengukuran berpikir kreatif terintegrasi pada tes hasil belajar kognitif. Data ditabulasi kemudian dianalisis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa dari kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok perlakuan. (2) ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis kelompok kontrol dengan perlakuan, (α = 0,057>0,05). (3) ada perbedaan berpikir kreatif antara kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan (α= 0,055>0,05). Disimpulkan bahwa media sosial sebagai sumber belajar IPS dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, science and technology are developing rapidly, so what happens in Indonesia. Concerns of Indonesian people as a pluralistic society have great potential to experience social conflict, currently proven. The SARA political conflict in the 2017 DKI Jakarta Regional Election case plus the political situation before and after the 2019 election is one of the proofs. Therefore education needs to be renewed. The renewal that can be done is the development of the game based on the Indonesian character development. In this research development researchers used two types of data analysis techniques, namely quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. Whereas the development research model chosen was the research and education development model developed by Borg and Gall with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and questionnaires. In conclusion, the game of Indonesian character values ​​needs to be applied to learning. This is evidenced from the results of the analysis that the implementation of the game at the elementary school level has a high level of validity and practicality. In addition, the play of Indonesian character values ​​can stimulate the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of students in understanding and applying Indonesian characters at the elementary school level and being able to answer the concerns of parents to children about the low moral values ​​due to sara and modern cultural issues.
