Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran pembelajaran real laboratory dan tugas mandiri fisika pada siswa SMK. Paket real laboratory konsep gelombang bunyi dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi fenomena bunyi yang belum mampu dipraktikumkan menggunakan KIT mekanika. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Pada tahap persiapan dilakukan analisis konsep gelombang bunyi dan penyusunan instrumen penelitian. Pada tahap pelaksanaan diterapkan pembelajaran real laboratory dan tugas mandiri fisika pada siswa SMK, selanjutnya dilakukan analisis data hasil penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa keterampilan kinerja dan keaktifan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran real laboratory dengan tugas mandiri lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil tes kinerja siswa yang hanya mendapatkan pembelajaran real laboratory. The purpose of this work is to get an idea of the real learning physics laboratory and self-regulated assignment of vocational students. A real laboratory package of sound wave concept was done to identify the sound phenomena that have not been able to be practiced using mechanics apparaturs sets. The procedure of this work consists of the preparation and execution, where in the preparatory phase it was done an analysis of sound wave concept and preparation of research instruments. The implementation was done using real laboratory learning and self-regulated assignment of physics subject on vocational students, further the analysis of the research data was also done. The result showed that the performance and activity of students getting a real laboratory learning with self-regulated assignment are better than that of students only getting real laboratory learning.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the experience profile of future Physics teachers in developing simple multi-loaded life skill project. The research method used was a descriptive method with 62 future Physics teachers as the research subject. Based on observations, interviews, and questionnaires, it was drawn descriptions of the future teachers’ experiences in developing a simple project. The future teachers were assessed based on some Physics indicators such as project design, project creation, data collection, data analysis, and creativity. The results of the project preparation descriptions obtained by the experience data of future Physics teachers indicate the highest score of 4.8 (96%) on the indicator of schedule making, while the lowest score was 2.9 (58%) on the indicators of formulating the product benefits, preparing the feasibility analysis and analyzing the environmental impact. The results show that future Physics teachers got the highest score of 4.6 (93%) on data adjustment for experimental purposes indicator, and the lowest score of 2.8 (55%) on designing tools and materials indicator. Based on the Physics props trial, it was obtained the highest score of 4.5 (89%) on the indicator of analyzing the baseline data, while the lowest score of 2.9 (58%) was on the variation test variables. Positive feedback about time-management in completing the project, the ability to identify the topic of the project, the ability to find ideas to support the completion of the project, the ability to test the tools, and the ability to make progress reports on project completion were derived from the interviews. The highest score of students’ responses to project completion was 4.8 (95%) on the second data collection indicator and the lowest was 3.2 (64%) on the instrument material design indicator.

Abstract

The low condition of students’ Generic Science Skills (GSS) becoming a concern since GSS is an essential provision for millennial living in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The study aimed to measure the impact of guided inquiry learning on generic science skills by using the digital swing model. This research used the experimental method which involved 360 students of 12th grade from senior high school. The primary data of students’ GSS were obtained from observations during activities and reports of practicum activities, then the resulting data were analyzed by t-test. The average of students’ GSS in the experimental class was 3.32, which is included in the very good category. Meanwhile in the control class was 3.17, which is included in the good category. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, the score was 0.044, which means that there were differences between the experimental class and the control class. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of digital swing has a positive impact on students’ GGS. The use of digital swing could stimulate the students to do the practicum activities which leads to the improvement of student’s GGS. However, this study is only focusing on the smaller angle; therefore, it is crucial for further research to set up the digital swing with the angle >15° to identify the effect on it.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is produce learning set equipment on heat material of ethnoscience based in Tegal district, The results showed that the feasibility of syllabus-based ethnoscience include into the category is very good because it has a percentage of 96,43%. The feasibility learning device of an ethnoscience-based into a very good category because it has a percentage of 91,37%. Ethnoscience-based learning tool able to improve student learning outcomes from the average value of 42,82 to 80,06 and the gains value 0,65. While the questionnaire of student’s learning interest after the application of physics learning device on ethnoscience based heat material in Kabupaten tegal get the average value 3,01 with the high criteria.

Abstract

The study aimed to develop the Current Stick teaching aids and determine its effectiveness to improve students’ generic skills. The type of research is development research which involved 180 students of class X SMAN in Blora were chosen through cluster random sampling. The instrument used to collect the data was a validated question sheet from the assessment of students’ practicum report in using Current Stick teaching aids and the observation sheet. The instruments were addressed to students from the control class and experimental class. The obtained data were tabulated and analyzed by using t-test. The result shows that the experimental class achieved an average percentage of generic science skills of 77.2%, while the control class reached 66.4%. It reveals that the difference in the percentage of generic science skills is the result of using Current Stick teaching aids. Based on the results and discussion, it was found that the development of Current Stick teaching aid is effective to improve students' Generic Science skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas V SD N Pandeanlamper 01 Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD N Pandeanlamper 01 Semarang tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data yaitu (1) wawancara (2) Dokumentasi (3) Tes dan (4) Observasi. Analisis Data menggunakan uji normalitas awal, uji normalitas akhir, uji homogenitas awal, uji homogenitas akhir, dan uji hipotesis (uji-t dua sampel). Uji normalitas awal dan akhir digunakan untuk mengetahui kelas tersebut berdistribusi normal atau tidak. Uji homogenitas awal dan akhir digunakan untuk mengetahui kelas tersebut mempunyai varian sama dan bersifat homogen atau tidak. Uji hipotesis  menggunakan uji t dua sampel. Hasil pengujian hipotesis pada hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa thitung 2,1323 dan ttabel 2,02269 dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Karena thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,1323 > 2,02269 sehingga H0 ditolak. Karena H0 ditolak, maka kesimpulannya yaitu kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Sehingga model pembelajaran creative problem solving berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas V SD N Pandeanlamper 01 Semarang. Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) ,kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is analyzing the impact of Modeling Instruction towards students’ ability in solving phisics problems on Work and Energy of X MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah Mayong Jepara. This research used pre-experimental design that held on January 29th 2018 untill January 5th 2018 academic year 2018/2019. The population of this research was the entire of X MIPA of SMA Muhammadiyah Mayong Jepara, and the sample selected randomly. So, as the result, X MIPA 1 becomes experiment class. The researcher used data documentation techniques, test and interview as data collecting techniques. Based on research result, there is impact of Modelling Instrucion towards students’ ability in solving phisics problems on Work and Energy material of X MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah Mayong Jepara through t test calculation, gained tcount = 43,026 > ttable = 2,028. While from the gain test analysis <g> gained 0,46 for experimental class in the medium category. Based on the data result, can be concluded that there is impact of Modelling Instrucion towards students’ ability in solving phisics problems on Work and Energy material of X MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah Mayong Jepara.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan model project based learning terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada konsep Gravitasi menurut Newton. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MA Negeri Babakan Lebaksiu Tegal tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA MA Negeri Babakan Lebaksiu Tegal. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas secara acak, kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang mendapat pembelajaran dengan model project based learning sedangkan kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika siswa kelas XI, dapat dilihat dari uji hipotesis satu pihak antara kelas eksperimen yang mendapat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model project based learning dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional diperoleh thitung > ttabel, yaitu 3,68 > 1,57 hal itu dapat disimpulkan Ha = diterima dan H0 = ditolak sehingga hasil nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang menggunakan model project based learning pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol yang tidak diterapkan model project based learning.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills based on the application of CLIS method (Children Learning In Science) LKS assisted on elasticity and Hooke Law in SMA Negeri 1 Jakenan Pati. This research was conducted at SMA N 1 Jakenan Pati dated October 13 until October 24, 2017. This research used Quasi Experimental design in the form of pretest-posttest control group design. Population in this research is all class XI IPA in SMA Negeri 1 Jakenan Pati, while sample of research used consist of two classes taken by cluster random sampling technique so that obtained class XI IPA 8 which amounted to 40 students as experiment class using  CLIS method (Children Learning In Science) assisted by LKS, and XI IPA 7, amounting to 40 students as control class using Direct Instruction learning model. Based on the result of the research obtained the mean of pretest experimental class is 55,2 and control class 49,45, while value of experimental class postest 79,1 and control class 68,7. The hypothesis testing shows that with t test s2 polled variance magnitude thitung = 19.5 and ttabel = 1.66. This indicates thitung > ttabel, so Ho is rejected which means there is increasing in the effectiveness of CLIS learning method (Children Learning In Science) assisted by LKS on students' critical thinking ability.
