Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar matematika berbantuan FlipHtml5 yang memenuhi syarat valid dan praktis untuk memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah (KPM) siswa kelas VIII SMP/MTs pada materi koordinat kartesius. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Borg and Gall, yang terdiri dari sepuluh tahapan, namun pada  penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap ke-7 yaitu: (1) potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan data; (3) desain  produk; (4) validasi desain; (5) revisi desain; (6) uji coba produk; dan (7) revisi produk. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Intrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah lembar wawancara, lembar observasi, lembar validasi dan angket respon siswa. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis validitas dan analisis praktikalitas. Bahan ajar divalidasi oleh tiga orang validator dan direvisi sesuai saran validator, serta diujicobakan kepada 6 orang siswa SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru untuk melihat kepraktisan bahan ajar. Hasil validasi bahan ajar 87,91% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji coba produk 90,16%, dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis untuk digunakan siswa kelas VIII SMP/MTs. Kata kunci: Bahan Ajar, FlipHtml5, Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis, Koordinat Kartesius

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini yakni menciptakan produk berbentuk media dengan menngunakan Articulate Storyline 3 dilengkapi panduan kategori sangat valid dan sangat praktis. Media ini sebagai sumber belajar bagi siswa kelas VIII untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis (KPMM) materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel (SPLDV). Penelitian ini menerapkan model ADDIE dengan lima tahapan yaitu:  Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Analisis dilakukan dengan wawacara, observasi, dan penyebaran angket. Tiga validator memvalidasi media pembelajaran beserta panduan. Instrumen validitas panduan media dan instrumen validitas media pembelajaran berfungsi sebagai sarana. Rata-rata nilai validasi media pembelajaran yang didapatkan yaitu 3.47 termasuk kategori sangat valid, serta untuk nilai validasi panduan media yang didapatkan adalah 3.43 termasuk kategori sangat valid. Enam siswa kelas VIII.5 MTs 1 Pekanbaru merupakan subjek uji coba produk umtuk menggunakan instrumen angket respon siswa. Perolehan uji coba produk yang didapatkan adalah 0.99 termasuk kategori sangat praktis

Abstract

The background factor for this research is the importance of mathematical communication skills (KKM), but in practice there are still many students who have low abilities in mathematical communication. This study intends to provide an overview of students' mathematical communication skills (KKM) with indicators of drawing, mathematical expression and writing. The method used is descriptive qualitative in which the subject will use class VIII students of SMP N 13 Dumai totaling 30 people. The research instrument is in the form of three essay test questions. To obtain in-depth information, interviews were conducted with three students whose abilities were heterogeneous and selected from all students who took the test. The results of this study indicate that 26.67% of students are classified as high, 53.33% of students are classified as moderate and 20% of students are classified as low. The factor that causes the low ability of students' mathematical communication is the lack of students' ability to express mathematics

Abstract

This article describes applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on Mathematical Communication Ability. The research in this journal is an experimental study using pretest-posttest control group design with a population of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri in Kuantan Singingi Regency, divided into three school levels: high, medium, and low schools. From each school, two classes were randomly selected as the experimental class and the control class. The research instrument was the Mathematical Communication Ability test questions. The data collection technique is done by testing. Data were analyzed using t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results showed an effect of PBL application on mathematical communication skills in terms of all students. The effect of PBL application on mathematical communication skills in terms of school-level shows that for the high school level, students are better than students using conventional learning, while at the medium and low school level, there is no significant effect.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' learning motivation on Social Arithmetic material. This study was conducted to see the effect of the application of the PBL model on students' learning motivation in terms of the overall high-level students in the research sample. This study uses an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were seventh-grade students of State Junior High Schools in Kuantan Regency. The population comes from high-level schools. The sample in this study was SMP Negeri 1 Taluk Kuantan (high level). There was one experimental class and one control class in the schools that became the research sample. The results showed that it was significant 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is an effect of the application of PBL on students' learning motivation in terms of all students in which students' learning motivation using the PBL model is better than students using conventional learning.

Abstract

This research and development (R&D) aim to produce learning tools in the form of syllabus, lesson plans (RPP), and student worksheets (LKPD) based on discovery learning models on geometry flat-side materials to facilitate the mathematical understanding ability of 8th-grade students of junior high school that has met the valid and practical requirements. The development model used is 4-D, consisting of four stages: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The research instruments used in this research are validity instruments in the form of validation sheets and practicality instruments in the form of student response questionnaires. The syllabus, RPP, and LKPD that has been developed are validated by three validators and then tested out. According to data analysis of validation results, learning tools have met the valid requirements with an average score syllabus of 3.93, RPP of 3.86, and LKPD of 3.80. The student response questionnaire showed that the practicality of LKPD has met the practical requirements with an average score of in small group trials 3.61 and large group trials 3.53. Thus, the learning tools developed have met the valid and practical requirements to be used by 8th-grade students of junior high school.

Abstract

This service activity aims to (1) improve the ability of teachers about mathematical material that contains ability of mathematical understanding, mathematical problem solving, or mathematical connections; (2) Providing knowledge to teachers about strategies of mathematical problem solving; and (3) drill teachers to solve mathematical problems that contain ability of mathematical understanding, mathematical problem solving, or mathematical connections. Activities carried out with a pattern of 40 hours @ 45 minutes, consisting of 18 hours face to face (first day and last day), and 22 hours of independent activity (2 weeks). In the independent activities the teacher is given the task of working on the questions at home and discussed again at the second meeting. The results of the analysis of the initial test answers obtained an average of 49.58 with the highest value of 90 and the lowest value of 15. Strengthening the material at the time of the training was more emphasized on materials not yet mastered by the teacher. After the training, the average teacher mastery increased at the final test to 75.56. It can be concluded that this community service activity can empower the community in Kampar Kiri sub-district especially the mastery of mathematics teachers in solving mathematical problems.

Abstract

Keunggulan Kurikulum Merdeka yaitu (1) lebih sederhana dan mendalam karena kurikulum ini akan fokus pada materi yang esensial dan pengembangan kompetensi peserta didik pada fasenya, (2) tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik akan lebih merdeka karena bagi peserta didik, tidak ada program peminatan di SMA, peserta didik memilih mata pelajaran sesuai minat, bakat, dan aspirasinya, (3) bagi guru, mereka akan mengajar sesuai tahapan capaian dan perkembangan peserta didik. Namun yang menjadi permasalahan sekolah-sekolah di INHU terutama SMP belum siap dan belum memahami dengan baik tentang implementasi kurikulum mardeka di sekolah. Untuk itu lah dipandang penting untuk dilaksanakan workshop implementasi kurikulum merdeka bagi kepala sekolah SMP se-Kabupatan INHU. Adapun metode pengabdian dibagi ke dalam tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap pelaporan. Workshop Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Bagi Kepala Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Kabupaten Inderagiri Hulu dilakukan secara tatap muka selama dua hari. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan mereka sangat senang, menerima dengan baik, dan worshop ini telah dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas terkait implementasi kurikulum merdeka di satuan pendidikan SMP. Diharapkan sudah mempu mengiplementasikan di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model in improving students' problem solving abilities. This is a quasi-experimental study using the Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Students in seventh grade at SMP Negeri 32 Pekanbaru comprised the whole study population. In this research, the sample comprised two classes: VII3 as the experimental class and VII1 as the control class. This study utilizes the beginning mathematical ability test (KAM) and the mathematical problem-solving ability test as its instruments. The class of the sample was determined using the KAM test findings. The data were evaluated using the similarity test of two independent sample t-tests, which was preceded by tests for normality and homogeneity of variance. Students who participated in Problem-Based Learning had greater growth in their ability to solve mathematical problems than students who participated in conventional learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tuntutan pendidikan di era digital yaitu guru diharapkan mampu memanfaatkan teknologi digital serta mampu menyajikan pembelajaran matematika secara kontekstual dan bermakna melalui media berbasis TIK. Guru hendaknya mampu memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran baik secara luring maupun secara daring. Pembelajaran daring memerlukan perangkat pembelajaran daring berupa Silabus, RPP, LKPD dan video pembelajaran. Kenyataannya dari hasil survei, guru belum mampu merancang pembelajaran daring dengan pendekatan yang bervariasi sehingga kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis (KPMM) peserta didik masih rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran daring menggunakan pendekatan matematika realistik (PMR) untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang valid dan praktis. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Borg and Gall. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi terhadap silabus, RPP, LKPD, video pembelajaran dan lembar angket respon hasil uji coba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Hasil pengujian validitas perangkat pembelajaran daring ini menunjukkan kategori sangat valid dengan nilai secara berurutan sebesar 89,38%, 89,07%, 90,37%, 89,75%. Kategori sangat praktis nilai uji praktikalitas 93,22%. Artinya perangkat pembelajaran daring dengan pendekatan PMR pada materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung (BRSL) dapat diimplementasikan pada saat pembelajaran jarak jauh (daring) untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik pada materi BRSL.This research is motivated by the demands of education in the digital era, where teachers are expected to be able to utilise digital technology and be able to present contextual and meaningful mathematics learning through ICT-based media. Teachers should be able to facilitate the learning process both offline and online. Online learning requires online learning tools in the form of syllabus, lesson plans, LKPD and learning videos. In fact, from the survey results, teachers have not been able to design online learning with a varied approach so that the mathematical problem solving ability (KPMM) of students is still low. The purpose of this research is to develop online learning tools using a realistic mathematics approach (PMR) to facilitate valid and practical mathematical problem solving skills. The development method used is the Borg and Gall model. The instruments used are validation sheets for syllabus, lesson plans, LKPD, learning videos and response questionnaires from small group and large group trials. The results of testing the validity of this online learning device show a very valid category with sequential values of 89.38%, 89.07%, 90.37%, 89.75%. The very practical category of the practicality test value is 93.22%. This means that online learning tools with the PMR approach on the material of building a curved side space (BRSL) can be implemented during distance learning (online) to facilitate the learning process.
