Abstract

The Value Clarification Technique (VCT) approach can foster a student’s awareness of critical thinking ​​through clarification and test the truth of values. In practice of learning sometimes teachers ignore the guidance of attitudes and character values. This is caused by the lack of teacher’s skills to implement the ​​learning approach in learning Civics and Social Science. So that impact on low student character and student unready to face competition globally. The purposes of this training are to increase insight and train teachers in Talawi to apply VCT approach model matrix in Civics and Social Science lesson, in order to improve the student’s character. The targets are elementary school teachers in Talawi (20 people). The method in this training consists of the Lecture Method, Question and Answer, Discussions, used to describe the material, encouraging active participation of teachers, selecting material to be designed with steps of the VCT model matrix. Recitation Method for training teachers in designing RPP with the VCT matrix. Simulation Method to train teachers to implement Civics and Social Science learning with the VCT model matrix. The results are teachers in Talawi can understand, design-implement, improve their skills in implementing Civics and Social Science with VCT matrix model that can influence the improvement of student’s character values.

Abstract

There are many teachers in school who have a good personality, mastering pedagogic, social mentally, and professional and dedicated. They become the requirement as a school leader, unfortunately, they are a lack of school managerial. So that incompetence to manage school management. The potential teachers should be trained and developed his carrier as the candidate of principal. The carrier training should be directly guided by principal and carrier development through education and training of leadership. These times the training and development teacher carrier for getting the job position certainty in school still un-optimal. The implication of teacher functional position becomes stagnant. It’s not enough they are appreciated by the phrase “teacher, the hero without commendable sign”. It’s a teacher carrier problem that should be found the solution.

Abstract

This study is intended to describe the implementation and development of the resources of educators in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Kerinci, including developing the competence of educators and improve the competence of personnel an educational institution. This is the study of the conceptual article. Data were collected using a literature review and documentation. The results of this study show: 1) competence development pattern of produce educators. The pattern of development of the competence of produce educators in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Kerinci general competencies, such as functional competencies, and other things the optimal, is enough is given to educational personnel such as education and training, workshops, training, functional training, structural position, and the development competence of IT. competency development Strategy 2) product educators in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Kerinci, such training is enough to power is given to a local optimum. 3) competency factors influencing the development of produce educators at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Kerinci, i.e. internal factors such as: vision, mission, objectives, strategy of achievement of the objectives, nature and type of activities, and the type of technology used, as well as external factors such as government policies, the socio-cultural society, and the development of science and technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan bimbingan kelompok terhadap peningkatan motivasi berwirausaha siswa kelas X SMK Islam Inayah, Ujung Batu Rokan Hulu, Riau. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 130 siswa kelas X SMK Islam Inayah, Ujung Batu Rokan Hulu, Riau. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah porposive sampling dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan skala psikologis dan dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan uji t sampel berkorelasi dan uji t sampel independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berwirausaha kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan motivasi berwirausaha sangat tinggi 0%, motivasi berwirausaha tinggi 43,75%, motivasi berwirausaha sedang 25%, motivasi berwirausaha rendah 25%, dan motivasi berwirausaha sangat rendah 6,25% Sedangkan kelompok kontrol menunjukkan motivasi berwirausaha sangat tinggi 0%, motivasi berwirausaha tinggi 37,5%, motivasi berwirausaha sedang 25%, motivasi berwirausaha rendah 25%, dan motivasi sangat rendah 12,5%. Motivasi berwirausaha pada kelompok eksperimen hasil pre-test lebih rendah dibanding dengan hasil post-test yang menunjukkan skor tertinggi ada selisih 25, skor terendah selisih 9 untuk pre-test lebih rendah, skor mean ada selisih 22,06 untuk sebelum perlakuan lebih rendah. Data tentang motivasi berwirausaha pada kelompok kontrol hasil pre-test lebih rendah dibanding dengan hasil post-test yang menunjukkan skor tertinggi ada selisih 3 untuk pre-test lebih rendah, skor terendah selisih 2 untuk pre-test lebih rendah, skor mean ada selisih 1,69 untuk sesudah post-test lebih rendah. Saran untuk SMK Islam Inayah, Ujung Batu Rokan Hulu, Riau hendaknya menambah fasilitas pendukung layanan bimbingan dan konseling dalam memberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap peningkatan motivasi berwirausaha. Sehingga, siswa dapat mempunyai pemahaman yang luas terhadap motivasi berwirausaha.

Abstract

This research describes the correlation between school climate and job satisfaction in public elementary schools in Sub District of Padang Barat, Padang. The population of the research is 261 teachers, with a sample of 76 people by using cluster technique. The main instrument of this research is questionnaire using Likert scale model that had been tested for its validity and reliability. Based on the research, the school climate is in good category (79,74%) and the job satisfaction is in high category (85,79%). The results also showed the significant correlation between school climate and job satisfaction in public elementary schools in sub district of Padang Barat, Padang.

Abstract

The research is inspired by the lack of activity of learners in the learning and low mathematics learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 13 Sungai Pinang. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in activity and learning outcomes of students in class V SDN 13 Sungai Pinang on mathematic after using the game of dominoes. The hypothesis of action research is a game of dominoes can increase the activity and results of learning mathematics in Class V students of SDN 13 Sungai Pinang. This type of research, classroom action research. The subjects were fifth grade students of SDN 13 Sungai Pinang. The instrument used is the observation sheet activities of the learner, teacher activity observation sheet and test end of the cycle. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be seen that the average value of the final exam cycle I was 70 with learning completeness percentage of 54.05%. From the analysis of activity observation sheet of students obtained an average percentage of observer II in the first cycle of 47.61%. After learning executed in the second cycle, the average obtained final replay value is 89.46 students with learning completeness percentage of 89.19%, while the average percentage of the activity of learners who obtained observer II is 84.80%. From the results obtained from the second cycle can be concluded that the learning of mathematics through a domino game method can increase the activity and learning outcomes of students in class V SD Negeri 13 Sungai Pinang.

Abstract

This research is written based on the learning difficulties during industrial internship activities. This research is to produce a learning module for students who implement Prakerin with the Blended Learning model. To know the validity of modules, the effectiveness, and effectiveness of the developed learning modules. The method used is Research and Development (R & D) by using the FOUR D development model that is the definition, design, development, and deployment. The research design used for the trial module is quasi-experiment with a time series model. The module made is valid by the material expert with the average of all eligibility is 80.38%, included in the "Excellent" category. The modular practicality analysis is 81.41%, included in the "Practical" category. Module effectiveness analysis, included in the "Good" category. From both data analysis results done, it can be stated that the module is effective in improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) preparation of religious culture-based school programs, (2) implementation of religious culture-based activities, (3) values applied in religious culture-based leadership, and (4) habituation of school community in implementing the religious culture. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study. Data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed by using an interactive model; data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Checking the validity of data extends the presence of researchers in the study sites, deep observation, triangulation of sources and researcher’s methods/techniques and member check. The results show: (1) preparation of religious culture-based school programs such as the principal planning early in the semester to create a program of school activities involving school personnel, such as teachers and staffs, (2) implementation of religious culture-based activities, such as daily program, weekly program and annual program involving the teachers, students, parents and government, (3) values applied such as the value of religiosity, value of nationalism, value of independence, value of integrity and value of mutual cooperation, and (4) habitation of school community by doing murojaah the memorization (repeating the memorization), fasting on Tuesday and Thursday, liqa (mentoring), pray for Dhuha, pray for Dzuhur, etc.

Abstract

Kesiapan belajar adalah faktor terpenting dalam menentukan siswa sukses dalam belajar dan dan menerima pembelajaran. Belajar akan memungkinkan individu untuk mengadakan perubahan di dalam dirinya. Perubahan ini dapat berupa penguasaan suatu kecakapan tertentu, perubahan sikap, memiliki ilmu pengetahuan yang berbeda dari sebelum seseorang melakukan proses pembelajaran. Kesiapan belajar berkaitan erat dengan motivasi belajar dalam pencapaian prestasi siswa di sekolah. Orang tua adalah orang yang bertanggung jawab utama dalam pendidikan anak-anak. Para orang tua yang menentukan masa depan anak. Namun mengakui keterbatasan dan peluang yang mereka miliki, sehingga orang tua meminta pihak luar lain membantu mendidik anak-anak mereka. Pihak lainnya adalah guru, saudara, bahkan nenek di sekolah maupun di rumah. Orang tua berperan penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan pendidikan anak-anak mereka. Mereka memiliki tanggung jawab dan peran penting bagi anak antara lain dapat diwujudkan dengan membimbing kelangsungan anak belajar di rumah sesuai dengan program yang telah dipelajari oleh anak di sekolah. Perhatian orang tua dapat dilakukan dengan mengawasi dan membimbing tugas sekolah anak serta membantu menyelesaikan masalah anak dalam belajar.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of the use of the cooperative learning model of type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) to the result of learning PKN student class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. This type of research is quasi-experiment. The Population in this study is class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP with samples of class IV A dan IV B consisting of 20 and 18 students. Based on the result of t test calculation obtained t value = 2,325 and price t table = 2,042. This proves that the use of cooperative learning model type of TAI effect on the learning outcomes PKN class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP.
