Abstract

A domain of learning, understanding is an absolute prerequisite for improving cognitive abilities. Leveling the mental model of students is one way in which a teacher can review the extent to which students understand based on their respective levels. The purpose of this study was to describe the six degrees of student's mental models in understanding the concept of using the Pythagoras theorem in junior high school students. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The subjects in this study amounted to 61 students who were a combination of 30 students of class VIII A and 31 students of class VIII B. The two classes of subjects were taken so that the six levels of the mental model were founded. The sixty-one items test questions were given. Each of the representatives of mental models who found the criteria was selected, namely two students to be interviewed so that 12 students were interview respondents. To ensure the validity of the data, researchers analyzed the data in two ways, namely data source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the study showed a description of each level of the student's mental model in understanding the concept of using the Pythagoras theorem. Suatudomain belajar, pemahaman merupakan prasyaratan mutlak untuk meningkatkankemampuankognitif. Pelevelan model mental siswa merupakan salah satu cara dimana seorang pengajar dapat meninjau sejauh manakah pemahaman siswa berdasarkan tingkatan masing – masing. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan enam level model mental siswa dalam memahami konsep penggunaan teorema pythagoras pada siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 61 siswa yang merupakan gabungan dari 30 siswa kelas VIII A dan 31 siswa kelas VIII B. Dua kelas subjek tersebut diambil agar terpenuhi keenam level model mental. Keenam puluh satu subjek tersebut diberikan soal tes, kemudian dipilih masing – masing dari perwakilan model mental yang telah memenuhi kriteria yaitu 2 siswa untuk diwawancarai. Sehingga terdapat 12 siswa yang menjadi respondenwawancara. Untuk memastikan kevalidan data, peneliti menganalisis data dengan dua cara yaitu triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan deskripsi masing - masinglevel model mental siswa dalam memahami konsep penggunaan teorema pythagoras.

Abstract

This research aims to produce effective and practical learning media. To achieve this goal, the authors establish the press using a research method of development with steps: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. The subject in this study is the participant Students at SMA N 1 Bandar Lampung with “data collection instruments used in the form of” polls provided to the material “experts, media experts,” test and effectiveness tests. The results of this study resulted in a media-shaped Video learning product; Knowing the feasibility of the quality of the developed product “is very feasible with a” score of 3.66 based on material “expert assessment” and 3.66 by the media expert in a very decent category. Student response in Math Learning media with Sparkol video scribe in trigonometric material obtained score 3.33 in MIPA 4 and 3.36 class in MIPA 5 with very interesting criteria in small class test. In the massive class test obtained the score 3.43 in grade MIPA 4 3.41 with fascinating measures. On the effectiveness test of learning video obtained calculation results using effect size 0.54 with moderate criteria can be concluded that there is a significant increase in learning outcomes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang efektif dan praktis. langkah-langkah yang dilakukan untuk mencapainya tujuan pembelajaran tersebut peneliti mengunggnakan metode penelitian ADDIE yaitu“(1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation .”Adapun pada“penelitian ini”peserta didik SMA N 1 Bandar Lampung mejadi subjek pada penelitian, teknik“pengumpulan data yang digunakan”dengan menyebarkan instrument berupa“angket yang diberikan”pada“ahli materi, ahli media,”uji kemenarikan dan uji keefektifan. Video sebagai media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan dalam pengembangan yang dilakukan peneliti. “Mengetahui kelayakan dari kualitas produk yang dikembangkan adalah sangat layak dengan skor 3,66 berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi dan 3,66 oleh ahli media dalam katagori sangat layak. Respon peserta didik dalam media pembelajaran matematika berbantuan sparkol videoscribe pada materi Trigonometri diperoleh skor 3,33 dikelas MIPA 4 dan 3,36 dikelas MIPA 5 dengan kriteria sangat menarik pada uji kelas kecil.”pada uji kelas besar diperoleh skor 3,43 dikelas MIPA 4 3,41 dengan kriteria sangat menarik. Pada uji keefektifitasan video pembelajaran“diperoleh hasil perhitungan menggunakan effect size 0,54 dengan kriteria sedang, sehingga media tersebut layak dan dapat digunakan pada saat proses pembelajaran dengan menghasilkan peningkatan keefektifan yang signifikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the development, response and effectiveness of learning using a digital pocket book characterized by Ethnomatematics for junior High School. Research and Development methods. Data Analysis techniques Research on the development of digital pocket books using 2 qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques. Data collection techniques are obtained via polls, interviews, documentation, and tests. The research Model with ADDIE is analysis, design, development, implementation, and Evaluation (evaluation), and assessment. Research conducted at SMPN 7 Metro. The results of this study with students ' responses from the use of digital pocket books characterized by ethnomatematics in small scale tests were obtained on average of 3.49 with "very attractive" criteria and large scale acquired on average of 3.64 With the criteria "very interesting" and the effectiveness of the use of digital pocket Books characterized Ethnomatematics applied in the learning process get a test effect size of 0.59 by medium category. This causes the digital Pocket book to be effective for use in the learning process. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengembangan, respon maupun efektivitas pembelajaran menggunakan pocket book digital bercirikan etnomatematika untuk sekolah menengah pertama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan (Research and Development). Teknik Analisis DataPenelitian terhadap pengembangan pocket book digital menggunakan 2 teknik analisis Kualitatif dan Kuantitatif. Teknik Pengumpulan Data diperoleh melalui angket, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Model penelitian dengan ADDIE yaitu analysis (analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Penelitian dilakukan di SMPN 7 Metro. Adappun hasil penelitian ini dengan respon peserta didik dari penggunaan pocket book digital bercirikan etnomatematika dalam uji skala kecil diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,49 dengan kriteria “sangat menarik” dan skala besar diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,64 dengan kriteria “sangat menarik” Dan tingkat Keefektifan penggunaan pocket book digital bercirikan etnomatematika yang diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai uji effect size sebesar 0,59 dengan kategori sedang. Hal ini menyebabkan pocket book digital efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence on the advanced organizer learning model using adobe flash assisted learning media to improve understanding of mathematical concepts. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The variables in this study consisted of two types, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. In this study the advance organizer learning model assisted by Adobe Flash becomes the independent variable and the understanding of mathematical concepts becomes the dependent variable. The population of this study was students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. The sample in this study was divided into 3 classes, namely classes VIII-J and VIII-I (experimental class) and class VIII-E (control class). The instrument used was a test, then the data analysis for hypothesis testing using ANOVA. Based on the results and analysis of the data that there is an influence of the use of advance organizer learning models using adobe flash assisted learning media on the ability of understanding students' mathematical concepts. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah guna mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran advance organizer menggunakan media pembelajaran berbantuan adobe flash untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis. Penelitian ini ialah suatu penelitian eksperimen semu. Penelitian inimemiliki dua macam variabel yakni bebas dan variabel terikat. Pada penelitian ini model pembelajaran advance organizer berbantuan adobe flash menjadi variabel bebas dan pemahaman konsep matematis menjadi variabel terikat. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terbagi menjadi 3 kelas yaitu kelas VIII-J dan VIII-I (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas VIII-E (kelas kontrol). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes, selanjutnya analisis data untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan ANOVA. Berdasarkan hasil dan analisis data bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran advance organizer menggunakan media pembelajaran berbantuan adobe flash terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical problem solving ability of students at the University of Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri Bojonegoro. This study is a qualitative study with research subjects of the Nahdlatul Ulama University Mathematics Education Study Program Sunan Giri Bojonegoro odd semester 2019 - 2020, namely semester 1 students of class 2019. Determination of research subjects using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using written tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The validity of the data used in this study uses time triangulation that compares written data and interviews. The results showed that students 'mathematical problem solving abilities were still low, it was seen from the percentage of students' problem solving abilities where students who were unable to solve problems still occupied the highest presentations and students who were able to solve problems very well occupied the lowest percentage. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Univesitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri Bojonegoro semester ganjil tahun akademik 2019 – 2020, yaitu mahasiswa semester 1 angkatan 2019. Penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Validitas data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi waktu yang membandingkan antara data tertulis dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa masih rendah, hal tersebut terlihat dari presentase kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa dimana mahasiswa yang tidak mampu memecahkan masalah masih menduduki presentasi tertinggi dan mahasiswa yang mampu memecahkan masalah dengna sangat baik menduduki presentase paling rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine class X students' difficulty in understanding story questions on the material composition function and inverse function. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a sample of class X students in SMA Negeri 3 Cilegon. Data analysis of difficulty understanding story problems obtained through tests, observations, and documentation. For data validation, the data reduction, data review, and conclusion drawing stages are used. This study's results indicate that students' ability to understand story problems in the material composition function and inverse function is still low. It can be seen that only 6.25% of students can complete the test correctly so that it is categorized high, 31.25% is classified as moderate, and 62.5% is classified as low. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam memahami soal cerita pada materi fungsi komposisi dan fungsi invers. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan sampel siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Cilegon. Data analisis kesulitan pemahan soal cerita diperoleh melalui tes dan dokumentasi. Untuk validias data digunakan tahap reduksi data, pengajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam memahami soal cerita pada materi fungsi komposisi dan fungsi invers masih rendah. hal tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa hanya 6,25% siswa yang mampu menyelesaikan tes dengan sempurna sehingga dikategorikan tinggi, 31,25% tergolong sedang, dan 62,5% lainnya tergolong rendah.

Abstract

This research's background is the students' mathematical creative thinking abilities that are rarely of concern so that they are generally classified as low. This study aims to determine the Zone of Proximal Development Experiential Learning model's effect based on improving mathematical creative thinking skills. The design of this study uses the Quasi-Experimental Design form. This study's population were students of class VII SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung with a sample of two experimental classes and one control class. Data analysis used the One Way Anova test, and the significance level was 5%. Based on the average increase, the Experiential Learning Model, based on the Zone of Proximal Development, is as good as the Experiential Learning Model. The Experimental Learning Model is based on Zone Of Proximal Development is better with conventional learning, Experiential Learning Model is better with conventional learning. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik yang jarang menjadi perhatian sehingga secara umum masih tergolong rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Experiential Learning berbasis Zone Of Proximal Development untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk Quasi Experimental Disign. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung dengan sampel dua kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan uji One Way Anova dan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan rata – rata peningkatan disimpulkan bahwa Model pembelajaran Experiential Learning berbasis Zone Of Proximal Development sama baiknya dengan Model pembelajaran Experiential Learning, Model pembelajaran Experiential Learning berbasis Zone Of Proximal Development lebih baik dengan pembelajaran konvensional, Model pembelajaran Experiential Learning lebih baik dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence between the application of TAPPS type cooperative learning using gamification teaching materials and conventional learning, the difference between high, medium, and low Self Confidence, and the interaction between TAPPS type cooperative learning and Self Confidence toward the ability of mathematical reasoning. This research used a quasi-experimental method and subjects of SMP Negeri 1 Natar Lampung Selatan with 64 students. The sample class used were two classes by using Cluster Random Sampling. Hypothesis testing conducted in this research uses two-way ANAVA with ∝=5%. The results showed: (1) learning using TAPPS type cooperative learning using gamification teaching materials is more effective than learning with conventional methods, (2) there is a self-confidence effect on mathematical reasoning abilities, high Self Confidence is better than medium and low self-confidence and the ability of mathematical reasoning with medium Self Confidence is better than low Self Confidence, (3) there was no interaction between TAPPS type cooperative learning and Self Confidence in mathematical reasoning abilities. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara penerapan cooperative learning tipe TAPPS menggunakan bahan ajar gamifikasi dan pembelajaran konvensional, perbedaan antara kepercayaan diri yang tinggi, sedang dan rendah, dan interaksi antara cooperative learning tipe TAPPS dan kepercayan diri terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian in adalah Quasy Eksperimental, Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri Natar Lampung Selatan dengan jumlah siswa 64. Sampel kelas yang digunakan adalah dua kelas dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan ANAVA dua arah dengan ∝ = 5%. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Cooperative learning tipe TAPPS menggunakan bahan ajar gamifikasi lebih berpengaruh daripada pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis (2) Kemampuan penalaran matematis dengan kepercayaan diri yang tinggi lebih baik daripada kepercayaan diri sedang dan rendah serta kemampuan penalaran matematis dengan kepercayaan diri yang sedang lebih baik daripada kepercayaan diri rendah (3) Tidak ada interaksi antara cooperative learning tipe TAPPS dan kepercayaan diri terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze student facilitators and explaining models on critical thinking mathematically. Analyzing the level of self-reliance learning on critical math learners' ability, analyzing student facilitators' interaction, and explaining critical thinking critical math and self-reliance learners. Research conducted in class X SMK Muhamadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. This type of research is Quasi-Experimental Design. Sampling techniques are done in a simple Random Sampling; data collection techniques are conducted through tests and nontest. The type of test to think critically about mathematical mathematics is an objective test that is a matter of description (essay), testing this hypothesis using variance analysis (ANAVA) Two paths with unequal cells. The results of learning data analysis of Student Facilitator and Explaining the ability of critical thinking mathematically better than conventional learning models. The high learning of students, the better the ability to think critically of students mathematically. There is no interaction between Student Facilitator and Explaining learning models and the self-reliance learning level towards learners' mathematical thinking skills. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis model Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap berpikir kritis matematis, menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis kemandirian belajarerhadap peserta didik, menganalisis interaksi Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap berpikir kritis matematis dan kemandirian peserta didik.Penelitian dilakukan di kelas X SMK Muhamadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung.Jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design.Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara Simpel Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan non tes. Jenis tes untuk Berpikir Kritis Matematis matematika adalah tes obyektif yaitu berupa soal (essay). Pengujian hipotesis ini dengan analisis variansi (ANAVA) dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Adapun hasil analisis data pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis lebih baik dari model pembelajaran konvensional. tingginya kemandrian belajar peserta didik maka semakin baik kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan tingkat kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the extent to which the ability to structure sense in the form of material binding a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b). This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were students of class VII-B MTs ASSALAM Bangilan, amounting to 25 students. However, only six subjects were analyzed based on the ability indicators of structure sense in terms of the same answer patterns. The research instrument consisted of test questions and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques used in the model of Miles and Huberman include data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The study results showed that in question number 1, 40% of students could sense structure, and 60% are less familiar with the sense of structure due to each deployment's completion, not using the form a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b). In question number 2, 32% of students can structure sense, and 68% are less familiar with the sense of structure due to a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b) sensitivity is still low, and the answer pattern describes each appointment. Whereas in question number 3, only 28% can structure sense, and 72% lack familiarity with structure sense because they cannot manipulate structures properly. In conclusion, the ability to structure sense to form a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b) students is still low. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana kemampuan structure sense pada materi pemangakatan bentuk a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b). Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-B MTs ASSALAM Bangilan yang berjumlah 25 siswa, akan tetapi hanya diambil 6 subyek yang dianalisis berdasarkan indikator kemampuan structure sense ditinjau dari pola jawaban yang sama. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari soal tes dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada soal no. 1, 40% siswa memiliki kemampuan structure sense dan 60% kurang mengenal structure sense disebabkan dalam penyelsaiannya menjebarkan masing-masing pemangkatan, tidak menggunakan bentuk a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b). Pada soal no. 2, 32% siswa memiliki kemampuan structure sense dan 68% kurang mengenal structure sense disebabkan kepekaan struktur pemangkatan a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b) masih rendah, dan pola jawabannya menjabarkan masing-masing pemangkatan. Sedangkan pada soal no. 3 hanya 28% yang memiliki kemampuan structure sense dan 72% kurang mengenal structure sensedisebabkan tidak dapat memanipulasi struktur dengan tepat. Kesimpulannya kemampuan structure sense pemangakata bentuk a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b) siswa masih rendah.
