Abstract

The development of information technology can ideally be used by education managers to improve the quality of learning, including the use of vlogs as the right means to train students' skills. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. This study aims to provide information or describe and describe the use of vlogs as a medium for learning history at SMAN 2 Jeneponto and the response to video vlogs as a medium for learning history. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The use of video vlog media in this study is as a source of historical learning media. The initial stage is a needs analysis for initial information collection. Students need interesting, innovative and easy-to-use teaching materials to convey messages properly and appropriately to provide understanding to students. One of the efforts to solve this problem is by using video vlogs as a learning medium. The application of the vlog video-based learning model shows an increase in the aspect of creativity that is assessed before and after learning through video vlogs as a historical learning medium because of changes that lead to developments that occur when carrying out learning, namely students are able to provide many ideas and ideas during the learning process using video vlogs.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang Radio Cempaka Asri Bulukumba dengan menguraikan latar belakang berdirinya Radio Cempaka Asri Bulukumba, Perkembangan, dan dampak keberadaannya bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa Radio Cempaka Asri Bulukumba berdiri karena hobi pendirinya serta tujuan untuk pemerataan penyebaran informasi, dalam perjalanannya Radio Cempaka Asri Bulukumba mengalami banyak perkembangan terutama dari aspek sarana dan prasarana seperti pembaharuan alat pemancar dan penambahan unit kerja untuk memaksimalkan penyiaran serta dilakukan pembaharuan program siaran yang mengikuti kebutuhan pendengar. Kehadiran Radio Cempaka Asri memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah. Bagi masyarakat kehadiran stasiun radio membantu mereka memperoleh informasi, hiburan dan menjadi wadah aspirasi mereka. Bagi pemerintah kehadiran radio membantu memperlancar perekonomian daerah dan pemberdayaan SDM, pengusaha lokal memiliki media beriklan yang murah, serta alat propaganda pemerintah dalam memaksimalkan kebijakannya. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan pendekatan ilmu sejarah dengan tahapan: (1) Heuristik, dalam tahapan ini sumber diperoleh dari hasil wawancara kepada pihak terkait diperkuat oleh arsip dan juga buku-buku yang diperoleh dari perpustakaan wilayah provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Perpustakaan Jurusan Pendidikan Sejarah UNM, Perpustakaan Umum Universitas Negeri Makassar, Badan Arsip dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Bulukumba. (2) Kritik, (3) Interpretasi dan (4) Historiografi.Kata Kunci: Informasi, Radio, Bulukumba AbstractThis study aims to find out about Radio Cempaka Asri Bulukumba by describing the background of the establishment of Radio Cempaka Asri Bulukumba, development, and the impact of its existence on society and the government. The results show that Radio Cempaka Asri Bulukumba was founded because of the hobby of its founder and the aim of evenly distributing information, along the way, Radio Cempaka Asri Bulukumba has experienced many developments, especially in terms of facilities and infrastructure such as renewing transmitters and adding work units to maximize broadcasting and updating broadcast programs. that follows the needs of the listener. The presence of Cempaka Asri Radio has a positive impact on society and the government. For the community, the presence of radio stations helps them get information, entertainment and become a place for their aspirations. For the government, the presence of radio helps smoothen the regional economy and empower human resources, local entrepreneurs have cheap advertising media, as well as government propaganda tools in maximizing their policies. The research method used is a historical approach with the following stages: (1) Heuristics, in this stage the sources obtained from interviews with related parties are strengthened by archives and also books obtained from the regional library of South Sulawesi province, the Library of the Department of History Education UNM, Makassar State University Public Library, Regional Archives and Libraries Agency of Bulukumba Regency. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sebab renndahnya penguasaan guru-guru sejarah di Propinsi Sulawesi Barat pada kompetensi dasar peran tokoh-tokoh nasional dan daerah dalam mempertahankan kemerdekaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hal tersebut terjadi karena guru tidak mampu menjelaskan secara kronolis peristiwa yang terjadi dalam upaya mempertahankan kemerdekaan, termasuk peristiwa dalam tingkat lokal. Penyebab lainnya adalah guru belum mengintegrasikan sejarah lokal dalam pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskrptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum dilaksanakannya perlakukan, guru yang menguasai kompetensi tersebut adalah 42%, sedangka setelah diadakannya perlakuan adalah 84,5%

Abstract

BMPH stands for Learning Through Historical Experience, which is a paradigm of experience from a historical background that becomes an experience in life that will serve as a source of historical and cultural learning for students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar. Currently, with the development of globalization, it is very important for students to love culture to instill awareness of the importance of experience through culture, which can be used by students as a learning process to learn from the historical environment of local cultural wisdom in ethnic communities in Makassar City, South Sulawesi Province. Learning Through Historical Experience aims to provide knowledge and understanding of BMPH to students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar class X and students can practice and have awareness, the importance of preserving historical culture in everyday life. The implementation method is carried out online by introducing cultural heritage sites in Makassar City such as Rotterdam Fort, Cathedral Church, Malay Mosque, Kwan Kong Temple, Societeit de Harmonie, as well as traditional arts and dances, both in the form of explanations, in the form of photos, and videos that are studied as a form of historical culture in the Makassar ethnic community which are important to be inherited through learning.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II SD Inpres Barombong 2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca nyaring siswa kelas II SD Inpres Barombong 2. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Fokus penelitian ini adalah penggunaan kartu membaca untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca nyaring siswa. Subyek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas II SD Inpres Barombong 2. Hasil penelitian ini adalah aktivitas mengajar guru dan aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, hal ini terlihat pada nilai rata-rata yang dihasilkan pada siklus 1 yaitu 63,2 dan siklus II menjadi 85,2. Selain itu hasil observasi kegiatan mengajar guru pada siklus 1 berada pada kategori kurang (K) sedangkan pada siklus II berada pada kategori cukup (C). Aktivitas siswa pada siklus 1 berada pada kategori cukup (C), dan pada siklus II berada pada kategori baik (B). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media kartu baca dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II SD Inpres Barombong 2

Abstract

Permasalahan program green school yang dilaksanakan disekolah belum diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum di sekolah. Rendahnya kesadaran peserta didik terhadap pentingnya gaya hidup berkelanjutan menjadi faktor mewujudkan go green di sekolah sangat sulit. Pengabdian ini diharapkan menjadi salah satu upaya dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Sosialisasi berbagai kegiatan yang dapat mendukung go green school di SMA Negeri 12 Bone diharapkan dapat membentuk karakter peserta didik sehingga gaya hidup berkelanjutan dapat diwujudkan. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakter peserta didik dan guru di SMA Negeri 12 Bone dalam mendukung gaya hidup berkelanjutan sudah nampak pada berbagai kegiatan, baik kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Bone maupun kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan semua unsur di SMA Negeri 12 Bone, orang tua peserta didik maupun masyarakat sekitar

Abstract

The position of history education in schools is less desirable, especially for students because history is synonymous with knowing and memorizing historical events or facts, and the teacher's lack of maximum use of learning resources in the surrounding environment will lead to boredom for students. Teaching history by emphasizing the use of historical sites around students is a solution so that learning history can be more easily understood. This study aims to determine the history of Saoraja Sawitto Kingdom, the use of the local site of the Saoraja Sawitto Traditional House as a source of learning history, the supporting and inhibiting factors of the local site of the Saoraja Sawitto Traditional House as a source of learning history. The research method used is the historical method with 4 steps, namely Heuristics, Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiography. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the Saoraja Sawitto traditional house was the home of the Kedatuan Sawitto Royal Palace which was formerly made of wood, but during the Colonial reign there was a change in the structure of the building which then changed its shape to a stone house. With the local historical site of Saoraja Sawitto, students are active and enjoy learning so that it can facilitate the teaching and learning process, especially in history subjects. One of the factors supporting the use of this existing house, namely the enthusiasm of students, and one of the inhibiting factors is the lack of literature regarding the Saoraja Sawitto traditional house.

Abstract

This study is quasi-experimental research aimed to determining the effect of google slide presentation media in distance learning toward students’ motivation and learning activeness XI MIPA SMAS Islam Athirah 1 Makassar. A pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design was employed in this study. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMAS Islam Athirah 1 Makassar in the academic year 2019/2020 which consisted of 4 classes totaling 108 students. The sampling technique used is class random sampling so that 2 classes were selected as sample research, experimental class and control class. The experimental class was class XI.1 MIPA, which was taught using the Google Slide presentation media while the control class was class XI.IV MIPA which was taught using conventional presentation media. The independent variable in this study is the Google Slides presentation media and the dependent variable is learning motivation and learning activeness. Motivation and learning activeness data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Independent Sample T-Test analyzed. The test results show that there is a positive effect of google slide presentation media in distance learning toward motivation and learning activeness students’ class XI MIPA SMAS Islam Athirah 1 Makassar. The results showed that the scores on motivation and learning activeness increased but not significantly. The learning motivation score of the experimental class increased by 41,06 percent, in the control class it increased by 26,45 percent, while the experimental class students' learning activeness score increased by 45,51 percent and in the control class increased by 26,82 percent.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh media presentasi google slide dalam pembelajaran sejarah terhadap motivasi dan keaktifan belajar peserta didik di SMA Islam Athirah 1 Makassar. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Islam Athirah 1 Makassar pada semister ganjil tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Pemilihan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik class random sampling sehingga terpilih 2 kelas sebagai sampel penelitian, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen adalah kelas XI MIPA I dengan menggunakan media presentasi Google Slide sedangkan kelas kontrolnya adalah kelas XI MIPA IV menggunakan media presentasi konvensional. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah media presentasi Google Slide dan variabel terikatnya adalah motivasi dan keaktifan belajar. Data motivasi dan keaktifan belajar yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Pengujian hipótesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan análisis independent sample t-test atau uji-t. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif media presentasi Google Slide dalam pembelajaran terhadap motivasi dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Islam Athirah 1 Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor motivasi dan keaktifan belajar mengalami kenaikan namun tidak begitu signifikan. Skor motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen meningkat sebesar 41,06 persen, kelas kontrol meningkat sebesar 26,45 persen, sedangkan untuk skor keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen menigkat 45,51 persen dan pada kelas kontrol meningkat 26,82 persen.

Abstract

The Toraja people still maintain their cultural existence in the midst of advances in technology and science, they still carry out traditions from generation to generation called Ma'Nene.However, this culture, over time, has undergone various changes that are no longer original and have even begun to be abandoned by some of its supporting communities. Therefore, this paper seeks to reveal the background of the birth of the Ma'Nene culture, and the factors underlying this cultural change in the Toraja people. This study uses historical research methods, including heuristics (data collection process), criticism/verification (data analysis), interpretation (data interpretation), and historiography (data writing) into a complete story of events.Ma'Nene for the Toraja people is not just a traditional ceremony, but has a deep meaning. Along with the times, various changes have occurred in this Ma'Nene tradition. Various shifts in meaning so that gradually this ceremony is just carrying out the tradition. However, in this way the community continues to maintain the Ma'Nene ceremony because there are still many Toraja tribes who believe that if it is not carried out, it will bring disaster to their lives, for example, failed harvests. The Ma'Nene culture is the ancestral culture of the people who adhere to the Aluk Todolo belief, but the majority of them are already Christian, but some of them still carry out this Ma'Nene culture.Suku Toraja masih mempertahankan eksistensi kebudayaan mereka di tengah kemajuan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan, mereka masih melaksanakan tradisi secara turun temurun yang disebut dengan Ma’nene. Akan tetapi budaya tersebut, seiring perkembangan waktu mengalami berbagai perubahan yang tidak lagi orisinil bahkan sudah mulai ditinggalkan oleh sebagian masyarakat pendukungnya. Olehnya itu, tulisan ini berupaya mengungkap tentang latar belakang lahirnya budaya Ma’Nene, dan faktor yang mendasari terjadinya perubahan budaya tersebut pada Suku Toraja. Kajian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah, meliputi heuristik (proses pengumpulan data) kritik/verifikasi (analisa data), interpretasi (penafsiran data), dan historiografi (penulisan data) menjadi suatu cerita peristiwa yang utuh. Ma’Nene bagi masyarakat Toraja bukan hanya sekedar upacara adat, namun memiliki makna yang mendalam. Seiring perkembangan zaman berbagai perubahan yang terjadi pada tradisi Ma’Nene ini. Berbagai pergeseran makna sehingga lambat laun upacara ini hanya sekedar menjalankan tradisi. Namun dengan begitu masyarakat tetap mempertahankan upacara Ma’Nene karena masih banyak dari Sukut Toraja  yang percaya bahwa jika tidak dilaksanakan akan membawa mala peTidaka bagi kehidupannya, misalnya saja hasil panen yang gagal. Budaya Ma’Nene merupakan budaya leluhur masyarakat yang menganut kepercayaan Aluk Todolo, namun mayoritas mereka sudah beragama kristen, tetapi masih ada diantara mereka yang tetap melaksanakan tradisi Ma’Nene ini.

Abstract

This paper discusses Sultan Hasanuddin and Arung Palakka in the power constellation in South Sulawesi. This paper aims to discuss the position and heroism of the figures Sultan Hasanuddin and Arung Palakka using a historical approach with the ultimate goal of being able to place these two figures in their place. This study uses the historical method, known as four stages, namely gathering sources, analyzing the literature in the library, interpreting the data found, and writing history (historiography). Research shows that understanding the position of Sultan Hasanuddin and Arung Palakka needs to be seen from many aspects. Sultan Hasanuddin is a political historical figure who must be received with pride. Sultan Hasanuddin is in a macro unit in political history. His name is beautifully engraved on the surface of political history in Indonesia. Elsewhere, there is a prominent figure, Arung Palakka, who is in a micro (social) unit, his name is embedded deep in the hearts of the people and is firmly positioned in social history. To understand the actions of these two figures, it is necessary to use a historical approach, namely in understanding history, it is necessary to study historical sources and have a broad spatial scope.
