Abstract

Juvenile delinquency has become a common phenomenon in society. Although various efforts have been made in order to overcome this problem, the behavior of young people to show their existence in these deviant ways is never ending. Apart from creating a space for actualization to accommodate their various interests and talents, the role of parents is very important in dealing with juvenile delinquency. In particular, this article examines the role of parents in overcoming juvenile delinquency from an Islamic perspective. The purpose of this study is to find alternative solutions, especially solutions that come from family influences. Meanwhile, the method used in the research uses a research library, namely analyzing and reviewing various previous scientific articles. The results obtained from this study indicate that the role of parents is very important in overcoming juvenile delinquency. The presence of parents by inviting positive dialogue to their teenage children is needed so that they get exemplary figures from the attitudes and behavior of their parents. In this case, parents also need to teach their children with commendable morals (al-Akhlak al-Mahmudah).

Abstract

Facing this modern era, ma'rifatullah is faced with increasingly complex life challenges. The reality of education also continues to experience severe moral degradation. The reason is one of them is due to the shifting of part of human thought from virtuous life orientation to the pursuit of hedonic and materialistic lifestyles. The purpose of this research is to uncover and analyze a synergistic approach that can revive human interest in opening and studying the values of ma'rifatullah and the space to apply them especially in Islamic education referring to the Koran and Hadith. The method to be used is the study of literature. The type of data used is secondary data with literature study data collection techniques. Based on the findings and analysis in this study, namely; firstly, ma'rifatullah is the main goal of developing all human potential, when a human manifests his spiritual power, then easily deliver it to ma'rifatullah. Second, the educational implications of this concept include the goals, roles, functions, principles, educators, students, material, methods and educational media. All of that must have a positive influence on the mind and heart in increasing all the potential possessed by humans. Thus, all the educational components are directed towards ma'rifatullāh.

Abstract

A new phenomenon that is developing in the world of tourism is halal tourism. Halal tourism is tourism which in its implementation refers to the Islamic law, both in terms of accommodation, attractions, facilities, services and the tourist attractions it self. In Bandung regency, halal tourism is not well known and is still in the preparation stage of development, so that attention and concern for halal tourism in this regency has not yet been developed. Bandung regency Government is in the process of making policies related to the concept of halal tourism. The purpose of this study is to analyze the opportunities and challenges of halal tourism development in Bandung regency and its impact on tourist arrivals to Bandung regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. Research data were collected using interview techniques, observation of events in the community and literature studies. The results of this study illustrate that Bandung Regency has a great opportunity in applying the concept of halal tourism because the majority of residents and tourists are Muslim, while the challenges need to be synergized with the policies of a leader, manager and various elements of the community to support Islamic accommodation, attractions, facilities and services .

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the various problems and challenges of PAI learning in Public Universities. Higher Education is the highest level of education that has a very large role in realizing a noble Bachelor' s degree, but the reality is that there are still many students who have a person who is not commendable. It is necessary to implement appropriate strategies in dealing with the challenges of Islamic religious education in Public Universities. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach with library research method. The results showed that various problamatika of Islamic religious education is influenced by several challenges, namely challenges in the fields of politics, culture, science and technology, economics, society, and value systems. There needs to be efforts to improve the quality of Islamic education by reactivating every component in the world of education, various components that are important to be considered and improved together are (1) Curriculum Components, (2) Objective Components, (3) Material Components, (4) Strategic Components, (5) Media Components, and (6) Evaluation Components. Thus, these efforts can be made to improve the quality of Islamic education, namely by improving the components in the institution itself, in order to be able to answer the challenges that exist by not abandoning identity as an educational institution that integrates Islamic values.

Abstract

Pesantren Persatuan Islam 1-2 Bandung is one of the modern pesantren (Islamic school) that combines religious science and general science with the aim of building a generation of tafaqquh fiddin. This goal is highly expected in improving the nation’s increasingly devastated generation. Understanding of religion becomes the main foundation in al-akhlāq al-karīmah. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method in Pesantren Persatuan Islam 1-2 Bandung. The results of the study illustrate that Pesantren Persatuan Islam 1-2 Bandung has a role as the center of education of the Persatuan Islam (Islamic Unity). Of course this da‘wah activity is also closely related to social activities carried out in the Pesantren Persatuan Islam. This is evidenced by the existence of educational institutions at various levels, social activities through devotion to educators and learners through the PKKJ program, as well as da‘wah activities through ta‘lim, dā‘ī and dā‘iyah, coaching, Saturday ta‘līm, and activities programmed by QAYIM of Pesantren Persatuan Islam. Thus, Pesantren Persatuan Islam 1-2 Bandung has the big role in making Indonesian Muslims into tafaqquh fiddin, in order to strengthen religious understanding that always return to the Qur’ān and Sunnah as guidelines for human life.

Abstract

Learning is the process of fostering and developing the maximum human capacity that holds all dimensions of life, both regarding the soul, ideas, and heart that shape human character. But in reality, learning at this time still focuses on vocational aspects, on the contrary character is neglected, so that even the goals achieved have a partial character, not totality. It is fitting for the concept of learning to have a normative and integrative character, because there is a direction to be aimed in accordance with the thoughts of learning practitioners about the expected perfect qualifications of humans, which certainly link the spirit of the Koran in all aspects of life. Therefore, this research shares an overview of the involvement of all aspects of life in forming the concept of a perfect human being formed from the terms Bani Adam, Basyar, Insan, An-Naas, and 'Abdun.. The present study employed a qualitative approach in the form of literature study as a means of collecting data. Based on the study results and analyses, it was found that the ideal human concept established from the terms Bani Adam, Insan, An-Naas, Basyar and 'Abdun is a mention for humans viewed from various aspects, such as historical, psychological, sociological, biological, and theological aspects. In fact, these five aspects indeed indicate the perfection of humans as God's creatures. In particular, the ideal human being is a person who is aware of his status as a servant of Allah, aware of his role and function as khalifatullah, and also aware of his life's purpose to always makrifatullāh. The educational implications of this concept cover goals, roles, functions, principles, educators, students, teaching contents, methods, and educational media. All of those implications must have a positive impact on the mind and heart as a means of increasing all the potentials possessed by humans. Thus, all the components of education are used as a means of strengthening faith, straightening worship, and instilling noble character and conduct towards makrifatullah.

Abstract

The decline in the quality of education in Indonesia is inseparable from the decline in the quality of teachers. Looking at this kind of reality, surely a teacher is required to keep improving his competence well. The purpose of this study is to formulate competencies that must be possessed by PAI teachers, namely religious competence, this competence needs to be developed to carry out their educational duties. Religious competence shows the commitment of PAI teachers as the main criterion so that all problems of educational behavior are faced, considered, solved and placed in an Islamic perspective. This research design uses a qualitative-descriptive approach. The research method used is literature study (literature study). The results of this study indicate that; first, the concept of religious competence with lūl 'ilmi character as a solution to improve the quality of PAI teachers. The word lūl 'ilmi is taken in the concept of the Qur'an which means a person who has knowledge based on reality, has broad insight, his intelligence is able to reach makrifat, and his heart is steadfast in monotheism because he has the level of khayyah like the scholars. Second, religious competence with lūl 'ilmi character has distinctive characteristics that are different from the others, namely that this character has Ilāhiyyah, spiritual and spiritual nuances. This feature covers 6 domains, namely the cognitive domain, the affective domain, the psychomotor domain, the social domain, the ethical realm and the spiritual realm. In conclusion, the main key to the character of lūl 'ilmi for PAI teachers is to create a strong khāyyah against his Rabb, as the cause of the knowledge he has.

Abstract

This article aimed to analyze the Islamic education based on Pegon Arabic letters in Madrasah Diniyah Al-Barokah Watuagung. This research was qualitative research. Observation, interview and documentation were collecting data of research. The participants consist of 30 students and 5 teachers as research sample. The results showed that Madrasah Diniyah Al-Barokah used the Arabic letters Pegon in learning. This Madrasah still exists amid the vortex of globalization to preserve the legacy of civilization for superior Islamic education. The curriculum was taught in the form of Fikih, Morals, Aqidah, Tajwed, Al-Quran, Nahwu and Sharaf. Islamic education was taught by teachers who are graduates of various Pesantren at Java, hence they were scientifically and experienced. Keywords: Islamic Education, Arabic Pegon, Pegon Letter

Abstract

Education is a process of coaching and developing human potential optimally that reaches whole aspect of life dimension, including soul, intelligence, and heart that construct human personality. But, the reality, education nowadays is still focusing on vocational aspect, while their personality is still neglected. Thus, the targeted purpose was only partial not thoroughly. This condition was not aligned with the purpose of education that should be normative and integrative so that the direction aimed was in accordance with the idea of expected ideal human qualification based on Koran soul in the entire life aspect stated by some educational practitioners. Therefore, this research was aimed at describing the involvement of whole life aspect in shaping a whole human being which was built from Ūlul Ilmi, Ūlūl Albāb and Ūli an-Nuha terms to formulate the purpose of Islamic education. This reasearch applied qualitative approach along with tahlīlī and muqāran as the procedural methods regarding to the ten Mu’tabaroħ tafsirs; they were Al-Miṣbāḥ Tafsir, Fi Ẓilalil Qur`ān Tafsir, Ibn Kaṡīr Tafsir, Aṭ-Ṭabari Tafsir, Al-Qurṭubi Tafsir, Al-Maraghi Tafsir, Al-Mizan Tafsir, Al-Azhar Tafsir, At-Taḥrir Wa Tanwir Tafsir and Fakr Ar-Razi Tafsir. Also, literature study was applied to collect the data. The data analysis technique used in this study was text analysis which employed dilālaħ and munāsabaḥ. According to the findings and analysis in this study, it was stated that the purpose of whole human being an intelectual thinker who is pious and brilliant, knowledgeable, sharp minded, pure heart, pertinacious beliefs, strong istinbath, noble soul, great moral character, and has an absolute spiritual experience. The central implication from the whole human being concept lied on the purpose of Islamic education with Ilāhiyyah nuance, divine and spiritual. Other educative implications are role, function, principle, educator, student, method, material, and teaching media. All those educational components were directed to strengthen beliefs, straighten worship, and devoted akhlakul karimah to be ma’rifatullāh.

Abstract

The pesantren learning system is considered as an alternative system that is presented in overcoming the various moral problems that occur today. Pesantren Persatuan Islam 1-2 Bandung, as the first pesantren to give birth to other pesantren regulations, certainly has a unique model and education system. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method in Islamic Boarding School 1-2 Bandung. The results illustrate that the education model of the Islamic Boarding School 1-2 Bandung has three educational paths, namely the Islamic boarding school education pathway, the school education pathway, and the out-of-school education pathway. The pesantren education pathway and the school education pathway are presented in the general curriculum and pesantren curriculum, both boarding and non-boarding, which are regulated at each level of education at the Islamic Boarding School 1-2 Bandung, namely the Tajhiziyyah, Tsanawiyyah, Diniyyah Wustha, and Mualimien levels. The learning system presented seeks to combine various disciplines with religious knowledge, thus giving birth to strong and solid Islamic values. Meanwhile, this pesantren also has an educational path outside the pesantren which is provided through family education activities, routine teaching activities, special recitation for mothers, special courses for religious studies, routine tadarus and various studies of PERSIS scholars broadcast through PERSISTV. Thus the various activities presented through this educational model and system are able to produce students who have graduates who are competent in all fields. These graduates are proven by the presence of entrepreneurs, scientists, well-known figures, education practitioners, and scholars who were born thanks to the education that has been organized by the Islamic Boarding School 1-2 Bandung.
