Abstract

Abstract : This research investigates the ability of the first year students of SMA Plus Bina Bangsa Pekanbaru in writing exposition texts. The objectivies of this research was to know and describe the ability of the first year students of SMA Plus Bina Bangsa Pekanbaru in writing exposition texts. This research is descriptive-quantitative research. The data of this research was the result of the test in the ability of the first year students of SMA Plus Bina Bangsa in writing exposition texts. The instruments of this research was written test in essay form that has three provisions questions concerning the ability of the first year students of SMA Plus Bina Bangsa Pekanbaru in writing exposition texts. The data collection used test technique. The population of this research was 58 students and 42 students as the sample. The data analysis was descriptive-quantitative method through Kruskall Wallis test. The validity of the data obtained validaton method and examination of answers based on time triangulation. The result of this research seen from result test of the ability of the first year students of SMA Plus Bina Bangsa Pekanbaru in writing Exposition texts. Based on the ability of the first year students of SMA Plus Bina Bangsa Pekanbaru in writing exposition texts included the low category that the mean score was 58,6667.Key Words : Ability, Writing, Exposition Texts.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the existence of each character in the novel Kubah by Ahmad Tohari. In this study, there is a problem formulation that examines how the existence of a character in the novel Kubah by Ahmad Tohari and aims to describe the existence of a character in the novel Dome by Ahmad Tohari. The source of data that became the object of this research is the novel Dome by Ahmad Tohari. The research data that writers look for in the form of sentences and quotations of dialogue related to the existence of characters who experienced three stages of existence, namely the aesthetic stage, ethical stage and religious stage. The research method used is a qualitative method that describes the description data. Technique of collecting data in this research is literature study. While the analysis technique used is reducing data, presenting the data and drawing the final conclusion. The data of this study amounted to 53 consisting of 13 characters, each character experienced three stages of existence that is the existence of the aesthetic stage, the existence of the ethical stage and the existence of the religious stage. The details of 53 data are as follows, at the aesthetic stage found 13 data, the existence of the ethical stage found 22 data, and the existence of the religious stage found 18 data.Keywords: Figures of exIstence, the Dome of the Novel by Ahmad Tohari.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the ability to reading the text of the exposition of student of class X MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to know and describe the level of ability to read exposition of the text of student of class X MA Muhammadiyah pekanbaru and describe wheater there is difference in reading ability of exposition student of class X MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru in grup of sample and gander. This study has a population of 26 and sample of 24. The results of research when tested by using t test one sampel is the ability to read exposition text is not aqual to value of comparison. The comparativevalue applied is 14 whereas the result obtained is 12,42. The ability to read the text of the exposition of class X MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaruquite low, in other words the hypothesis is rejected. Then tested using a two-way anova. The result is that there is difference of reading ability of exposition text of class X MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru student in sampel group and gander. Based on result of research, it can be seen that students reading ability is very low because student do not understand the content in the tructure of the text of the exposition, the main ideas in the general statement, the main idea in argumentation, the main ideas in the reaffirming of opinions, the idea of exposision in the argumentasi, explanatory ideas in reaffirming opinions, conclusion and mandates. Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the ability to write personal letter of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to identify the level of personal writing skills of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru and to identify whether there is any difference in personal letter writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru. This research has population 110 and sample 86. The data of this research that is test result of student's answer in doing self writing skill test of class student of class VII SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru. The test used is a story essay test. The tests instruct students to write personal letters on the topics provided and take note of parts of personal letters, spelling and punctuation (capital letters, periods, commas, exclamation points and question marks). The data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive method through test to know the level of personal writing ability of kels VII students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru, one way ANOVA test to know the difference of personal writing skill of class VII students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru between sample group. the results of this study in the form of personal letter writing skills of students in grade VII SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru classified as low with average value.Keywords: Ability, Writing, Private Letter, Student

Abstract

Abstract: This research is entitled the ability to write exposition text for class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Siak Kecil. The purpose of this paper is to know the high ability to write exposition text in class X of SMA Negeri 1 Siak Kecil. The method used is descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. This research data is the result of the score of the ability to write exposition text with an assessment rubric. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling, which is all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Siak Kecil, amounting to 85 students. The results of the study found the ability to write exposition text of class X students of SMA 1 Siak Kecil in the low category as many as 25 students, the medium category was 56 students, the high category was 3 students, and the category was very high as many as 1 student.Key Words: Ability, Writing, Exposition Text.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the writing skills of students in class Vii SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru. The research objectives were to determine the ability to write rhymes, to determine the differences in students' abilities between sample groups, to determine the ability to write rhymes sampiran, and to determine the ability to write the contents of the rhyme content of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru. This study has a population of 84 and a sample of 69. The data of this study are the results of the student's answer test in the seventh grade students' rhyme writing test of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru. This study used an instrument in the form of a writing test (essay) and observation. The data in this research are the results of the assessment in the form of scores on the writing test of the seventh grade rhymes of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru. The test instructs students to write rhymes with the topics that have been provided and pay attention to the verse verse, lines, rhymes, sampiran and content. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods through tests to determine the level of writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru. One-way ANOVA test to determine differences in the ability to write rhymes of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru between sample groups. The results of this study were a test of the ability to write rhymes for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru, which was classified as high with an average score.Key Words: Ability, Writing, Pantun, Students

Abstract

Abstract: This research is about the ability to write pantun pantun vii smp students of the country 04 mine kampar district. The sample used in this research is 49. The method in this research is inferential statistic. The results of this study show the rejection of Ho on t test which means that the data is normal and can be continued on parametric inferential statistical test. the ability to write pantun class VII students of SMP Negeri 04 Tambang classified as very lace, medium, or high .. Further testing is done t test indeoendent samples which resulted in the acceptance of Ho meaning that there is no mean difference between groups or there is no difference in the ability to write pantun in class VII A and VII B ..Keywords: Writing, Pantun

Abstract: This Research aim to to know the Ability Write The Text of Explanation of Student of Class of VII SMP Country 25 Pekanbaru. Method used in this research is descriptive method, that is method weared to explain the data obtained in research as it is. this Research technique use the technique tes write the text explanation. Description of result of this research in the form of: (1) according to title of text explanation, (2) according to public Statement, (3) according to consecution explaining / special statement, (3) according to interpretation. this Research target is to description ability write the text of explanation of student of class of VII SMP Country 25 Pekanbaru in aspect of title of text eksplanation, public statement, consecution penjelas / special statement, and interpretation. this Subyek research Population is 164 student, while this sampel research is 41 student. Result from this research indicate that (1) ability write the title categorize to lower, (2) ability write the public statement categorize the medium, (3) ability write the consecution penjelas / special statement categorize the medium, and (4) ability write the epilogue categorize medium.keyword : writing, explanation text, publicability, consecution explanation, interpretation

Abstract

Abstract: This research titled Learning Point in Simalungun Batak Marriage Ceremony. This research aims to understand clearly point to teach conveyed in the execution of the wedding ceremony of the indigenous Batak Simalungun. This type of research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The end result of this research is a descriptive narrative that is thoroughly accompanied interpretation that interpret the entire aspects of the culture. In accordance with these characters, this research seeks to obtain information that is as complete as possible about the execution of the wedding ceremony Batak Simalungun, from Partuha Maujana Simalungun (PMS) in Simalungun Country. The data in this research is pointing to verbal and non verbal learning in the implementation pekawinan Batak Simalungun. The validity of the data obtained by the technique of triangulation. Then, the data were analyzed by identifying and classifying based on the stage of the wedding ceremony. Results of the study, found the top ajar in Simalungun Batak marriage ceremony amounted to 83, Division of data the data i.e. (1) non verbal learning point shaped totaled 54 data, and (2) verbal learning point shaped totaled 29 data.Key Words: Learning, Pointing to the Wedding Ceremony, Batak Simalungun

Abstract

Abstract: This research is entitled the ability to write complex procedure texts for students of class X MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability to write complex procedure text for students of class X MA Darul, and to describe the different ability to write complex procedure texts for students of class X MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru between classes and schools. The data of this study are the results of the ability to write complex procedure text for students class X MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru which is divided into 4 classes, namely class X Religion-1, class X Science-1, class X Religion-2, and class X Science-2 and consist from 99 population members with a sample of 72 students. The results of the study after testing using chi square one sample results χ2 count of 64.70, while χ2 tables of 90.5. The hypothesis of a single sample chi square test is that Ho is accepted if counts < χ2 tables. This means that Ho is accepted, meaning that the ability to write complex procedure text for class X MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru is low. In addition, the author also tested using the chi square of two samples, to find out whether or not the ability to write complex procedure texts for students of class X MA Darul Hikmah pekanbaru between classes and school origins. The result, after being tested using the chi square test of two samples, which is obtained the price of count 0.98 and the price of χ2 tables is 90.50. Chi square of two samples is accepted if the hypothesis χ2 counts < χ2 table. The test results showed that Ho was accepted, meaning that there was no difference in the ability to write complex procedure texts for students of class X MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru between classes and school origins.Key Words: Ability, writing, complex procedure text
