Abstract

This study aims to find out the problems of education and learning in SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci and SMA Negeri 7 Kerinci. The research used is qualitative research with case study method. Data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci experienced educational and learning problems, namely the lack of facilities and infrastructure of science laboratories, lack of computers for the National Computer-Based Examination (UNBK), and the lack of activeness of students in the teaching and learning process. SMA Negeri 7 Kerinci has problems with education and learning, namely the lack of management of school facilities and infrastructure and the lack of learning media in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to result and show the validity and practicality of biology hand out with a complete cross- guided investigation on diversity of material life organization system for junior high school students. This study uses three steps of the 4D model is to determine, design, and develop. The subjects of this study is 4 validator, consist of lecture 2 and  2 teacher  in Biology and Education and 35 students of class VII SMP 15, Padang. The data in this study are primary data collected from the questionnaire validity and practicality. The validity of criteria gained; 88.32 % in the valid criteria, practicality by teachers was 90.41 % in practice criteria, and practicality by the students was 83.08 % in practice criteria

Abstract

Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu faktor keberhasilan guru dalam mengajar. Bahan ajar disusun untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Namun, penyediaan materi dalam bahan ajar di sekolah khususnya SMP kelas VII masih minim. Guru cenderung menggunakan bahan ajar seadanya, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Dalam hal ini perlu adanya penelitian tentang pengembangan bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs. Fokus penelitian ini ialah: 1) bagaimanakah prosedur pengembangan bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs, 2) bagaimanakah profil bahan membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs. Selaras dengan itu, tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini ialah mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs dan mendeskripsikan profil bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs. Model pengembangan yang digunakan ialah model ADDIE, yang meliputi analysis (analisis), design (merancang), development (mengembangkan), implementation (menguji cobakan), dan  evaluation (merevisi). Data dalam penelitian pengembangan ini tergolong data kualitatif, yang meliputi: 1) data validasi tahap analisis keperluan tentang KD dan indikator pencapaian kompetensi, 2) data validasi tahap analisis keperluan, 3) data validasi tahap rancangan produk, 4) data validasi tahap pengembangan produk, dan 5) data validasi kelayakan bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi. Hasilnya, prosedur pengembangan bahan ajar model ADDIE menghadirkan sebuah produk bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs. Kemudian, profil produk bahan ajar membaca teks deskripsi untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTs diberi judul Inilah Tamanku.Kata kunci: penelitian pengembangan, bahan ajar, membaca, teks deskripsi Teaching materials are one of the success factors of teachers in teaching. Teaching material are prepared to assist teachers and students in learning activities. However, the provision of materials in teaching materials in the school, especially junior high school grade VII is still minimal. Teachers tend to use basic teaching materials, thus impacting on the low learning outcomes of students. In this case,  there needs to be research on the development of teaching materials to read description text for grade VII SMP/MTs students. The focus of this research is: 1) what is the procedure for developing teaching materials to read descriptive text descriptions for grade VII SMP/MTs students, 2) how is the profile of teaching materials to read descriptive text for grade VII SMP/MTs. In line with that, the purpose of this development research is to describe the procedure of developing teaching materials to read the description text for grade VII SMP/MTs students and describe the profile of teaching materials to read the description text  for grade VII SMP/MTs students. The  development model used is the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data in this development research is classified as qualitative data, which includes: 1) validation data of the analysis stage of the need about KD and competency achievment indicators, 2) validation data of the analysis stage, 3) validation data of the product design stage, 4) validation data of the product development stage, and 5) validation data of the feasibility of teaching materials reading the description text. As a result, the procedure for developing ADDIE model teaching materials presents a product of teaching materials to read the description text for grade VII SMP/MTs students. Then, the product profile of teaching materials for reading descriptive text for seventh grade students of SMP/MTs is entitled This is My Garden.Keywords: research development, teaching materials, reading, description text

Abstract

AbstrakJeruk Nipis (Citrus aurantifolia S.) merupakan salah satu tanaman obat keluarga yang banyak terdapat ditengah masyarkat dan banyak digunakan sebagai ramuan tradisional. Bagian yang sering digunakan adalah air perasannya, dengan salah satu manfaat dapat digunakan untuk menghilangkan jerawat serta penyembuhan luka agar tidak terjadi abses. Jerawat dan abses pada luka merupakan salah satu infeksi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Staphylococcus aureus.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui daya hambat air perasan buah jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia S.) terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus secara invitro. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metoda eksperimental laboratorium dengan desain postest only control group design yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Andalas.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa air perasan buah jeruk nipis memiliki daya hambat terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dengan berbagai konsentrasi yaitu 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100% dan terdapat pengaruh lama kontak terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri dimana bakteri tidak tumbuh seteleh kontak 5 menit pertama dan diikuti menit-menit berikutnya dengan air perasan buah jeruk nipis konsentrasi 100%. Jadi, semakin tinggi konsentrasi air perasan buah jeruk nipis dan semakin lama kontak dengan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus maka daya hambatnya semakin baik.Kata kunci: Uji Daya Hambat, Air Perasan Buah Jeruk Nipis, Staphylococcus aureus.Abstract Lime (Citrus aurantifolia S.) is kind of family’s herbal medicine, most using in the community is widely used as a traditional herb. The most common used part is the lime fruit squeeze with one of the function is used for removing acne and wound healing to prevent the form of abscess. Pimples and abscesses of the wound is one of the infections caused by the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus.The purpose of this study was to determine the inhibition of lime fruit (Citrus aurantifolia S.) squeeze towards the growth of the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus in vitro condition. The study was conducted with laboratory experimental methods to the design of control group design postest only performed at the Laboratory of Microbiology Faculty of Medicine, University of Andalas.The results showed that the lime fruit (Citrus aurantifolia S.) squeeze has the ability to inhibite the bacterial growth of Staphylococcus aureus with various concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% and there is the effect of contact time on the growth of bacteria which the bacteria do not grow after contact the first 5 minutes and the next minute followed by lime fruit squeeze with 100% concentration lime fruit squeeze. Thus, the higher the concentration of lime fruit squeeze and the longer the contact with the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus is the better towards.Keywords:Inhibition test, The Lime Fruit Squeeze, Staphylococcus Aureus.

Abstract

Carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) is one of the oldest and most commercially cultivated freshwater fish in the World. However, there are still many undetermined phylogenetic relationships and the origins of common goldfish lineages, which are an obstacle to the conservation and genetic reproduction of this species. In the process of phylogenetic analysis, researchers used mitochondrial genomes where the genomic DNA was obtained from homozygous double haploid clonal lines from domesticated Songpu strains, and the total genomic DNA was extracted and sequenced using next-generation sequencing technology. Complete mitochondrial genome sequencing of 11 individuals representing East Asia and Europe and phylogenetic analysis was performed. The purpose of this study is to provide information about the phenology of Cyprinus carpio fish, which is expected to be the basis for increasing understanding to determine the kinship relationship between Cyprinus carpio in East Asia and Europe. The results showed that the relationship between Cyprinus carpio color, Cyprinus carpio songpu mirror carp, Cyprinus carpio carpio, and Cyprinus carpio wuyuanensis was very close, this can be seen from the bootstrap value of 100%. Meanwhile, with Cyprinus carpio haematopterus has a bootstrap value of 70%. Meanwhile, with Cyprinus xingguonensis it has a bootstrap value of 66%. Furthermore, it can also be said that the Songpu mirror goldfish is closely related to C. carpio carpio which is also a member of the genus Cyprinu. The genus Cyprinu has a close relationship with the genus Catla. In the phylogenetic tree, this species of fish forms a very coherent group, supported by a high bootstrap value of 100% and an average genetic distance of 0.02. Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this research is to describe the ability in comprehend the element of intrinsic in drama of second year student at MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan village Kampar district. The element of intrinsic is element which develop build belleslettres from within. The element of intrinsic is an important elemen whick is supposed to be learned by students in learning literature. In learned literature at school, comprehend the element of intrinsic in drama is one of basic component that should be learned at second grade of MTs. This research is aimed to know the students’ ability in comprehend the element of intrinsic in drama of second year student at MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan village Kampar district. Generally, there are 5 element of intrinsic are those theme, plot, characteristic, setting, and moral message. In this research, the method that’s used is descriptive method with 50 samples. To collect the data, the researcher collected the students’ test result, gave score, found the percentage of each element, and considered the average score. The resul can be concluded that the students’ ability in understanding the element of intrinsic in drama of second year students at MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan village Kampar district are categorized as low with average score 67. Percentage of high ability level student was 8%, medium 32%, and low 60%. The detail of average score of intrinsic element that has obtained is that: theme was categorized as low (46), plot was categorized as high (94), characteristic was categorized as low (66), setting was categorized as medium (79), moral message was categorized as low (50).Keywords: element intrinsic,text drama, theme, moral message plot, characteristic, and setting.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the ability to read comprehension of text description and the ability to write the text of the students' exposition of the viii smp class in the 13th week. The sample used in this research is 100. The method in this research is inferential statistic. The results of this study indicate the acceptance of Ho in Chi Square Test meaning that the data is normal and can be continued on the parametric inferential statistical test. Furthermore, t test that produces rejected Ho means that the ability to read the understanding of text description and the ability to write exposition text students of class VIII SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru classified as very lace, medium, or high. very low, medium or high reading ability understanding of text description and ability to write the exposition of siwa text is known by comparing the authors hypothesis with test results t. Furthermore, a direct ANOVA test is performed which results in Ho's rejection meaning that there is a mean difference between classes or there are differences in the ability of each class. Furthermore, to find out whether there is a relationship between reading class understanding of text description and writing exposition text it will be done product-moment correlation testing. The test resulted in a correlation between the reading ability of the text of the description text and the exposition text writing insignificant.Keywords: Reading, Writing, Text Exposition

Abstract

Abstract: This research discusses the ability to listen text explanation of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru. The sample used in this research is 105. The method in this research is inferential statistic. The results of this study indicate the acceptance of Ho on lilifors test meaning that the data is normal and can be continued on the parametric inferential statistical test. Furthermore, t test that resulted in the acceptance of Ho means that the listening ability of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru is low. The low ability to listen to the explanatory text is known by comparing the hypothesis with t test results. Furthermore, a direct ANOVA test is performed which results in Ho's rejection meaning that there is a mean difference between classes or there are differences in the ability of each class. Weakness in the ANOVA Test is unidirectional to know which groups there are differences. Therefore the authors proceed with the Independent Sample Test. This test results in the rejection of Ho in each class compared. Meaning that all the classes studied have different abilities.Keywords : Listening, Text Eksplanasi.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the ability to write personal letters of class VIII students MTs As-Syafi'iyyah Air Panas Village Pendalian IV Koto Districts. The purpose of this research is to describe the high level of personal letter writing ability of grade VIII students of MTs As-Syafi'iyyah Air Panas Village Pendalian IV Koto Districts and describe the difference of personal letter writing ability according to sample group. This study has a population of 49 and a sample of 44. To know the high-low ability of writing a private letter is calculated using a sample t test. The result of research when tested by using t test of one sample is the ability to write a personal letter equal to the value of comparison. The comparative value applied in this study was 68% of the maximum score. The writing ability of students is equal to the value of comparison. The meaning of the ability to write personal letters of class VIII students MTs As-Syafi'iyyah Air Panas Village Pendalian IV Koto Districts relatively low. In other words the hypothesis is accepted. Then tested using independent sample t test to know the differing ability of personal letter writing according to the sample group. The result is no difference in the ability to write personal letters of class VIII students according to the sample groups. In other words the second hypothesis is accepted. Overall, it can be concluded that the ability to write personal letters of grade VIII students MTs As-Syafi'iyyah Air Panas Village Pendalian IV Koto Districts relatively low, and there is no difference in the ability to write personal letters according to the sample group.Keywords: Ability, Writing, Private Letter, Student
