Abstract

There have been advances achieved in modern medicine but traditional treatment methods using certain spiritual approached have become increasingly popular in many parts of the world. Certain Sufi practices, among others, is used in medical treatment to support the healing process. Based on a case study on the practice of Sufi therapy conducted by Akang Syamsudin in the Limbangan Garut area, West Java, Indonesia this article attempts to explore the conversion process and dynamics of the development of Sufi healing. Employing a qualitative approach and Miles and Huberman landscape approach, and supported with interviews, observations, and documentation the research finds that Syamsudin’s Sufi therapy method combines physical and spiritual principles. Syamsudin’s therapeutic approach is based on the following seven factors, are: 1) belief that every disease has a cure; 2) balance and moderation are directly proportional to physical health; 3) spiritual factors dominate over physical factors; 4) the importance of blood circulation; 5) the efficacy of positive suggestion; 6) belief and submission to God’s will; 7) the effectiveness of patience and consistency. The research implications open a new paradigm in the field of non-invasive treatments. This article suggests that modern medical treatment should be complemented with spiritual therapy in order to achieve more positive healing outcomes for patients.

The results showed: 1) animals that have become carcasses are not 100% the same as the conditions when they were alive; 2) the phagocytosis process that plays a role in maintaining the leukocyte white blood cell system can stop in dead animals and eventually trigger the acceleration of the development of microbes in the body; 3) Microflora contained in carcasses include Salmonella, Campylobacter Jejuni, Listeria Monocytogenes and Escherichia Coli. These microbes are harmful to human health as they can cause diseases such as diarrhea, dysentery, and other clinical infections such as meningitis.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the Sīroh An-Nabawiyyah Learning Media Through the Concept of Fiqh Sīroh Ramadhan Al-Buthi based on NPT (narrative, pedagogical, and theological) with the support of historical visualization. In the dimension of modernity, globalization and technological acceleration have an effect on reducing the moral morality of the younger generation. According to the contemporary Muslim scholar Prof. Dr Muhammad Sa'id Ramadhan Al-Buthi in his work Fiqh As-Sīroh recommends that the younger generation must be friends with the figure of Rasulullah SAW as an ideal role model in all aspects. Every event that happened to Rasulullah, according to Al-Buthi has pedagogical values that can be implemented in the life of a Muslim, thus giving birth to a young generation who is religious and religious. In line with Al-Buthi, Prof. Dr. Ali Jum'ah, a senior scholar of Al-Azhar Egypt, recommended that the younger generation be trained to build the paradigm of "Rosulullah SAW as a father" meaning they must consider Rasulullah as an example and uswatun hasanah. this according to him can serve to improve their character education and religiosity. In line with the above, in the view of researchers, the problems related to juvenile delinquency can be bridged by handling them by bringing them closer to pedagogical stories from the life journey of Rasulullah SAW. Through a qualitative approach with a library review technique of primary data of the historical works of the Prophet Muhammad written by contemporary Muslim scholars Prof. Dr. Ramadhan Al-Buthi entitled Fiqh As-Sīroh, as for secondary data taken from other literature such as Ar-Rahīq Al-Makhtum, Dirāsah Tahlīliyyah Li Syahshiyati Ar-Rāsul Muhammad, Sīroh Ibn Hisham, Sīroh Ibn Ishaq. This research is expected to be able to produce the development of learning media based on pedagogical values, so that every event has learning and theological values and can be contextualized with current reality. The methods that will be applied in developing this media in every story of the Prophet's journey include: 1) Visualization of images of relevant objects, 2) Narrating events and stories, 3) Analysis and discussion discussions 4) Describing pedagogical values, and 5) Describing theological values.

Abstract

This study contains a discussion of the role of Islamic education in parenting perspectives associated with the main domain of the stages of child development and their psychology. The rise of news about children's behavior that is not commendable and the behavior of children who tend to oppose parental advice is also caused by several crucial factors, especially for Muslims, one of which is the lack of application of Islamic religious education as a guide in raising children. If parents forbid it correctly, the child will also apply commendable behavior in his life, not only limited to behavior but can be embedded in the child's psychology both from the way children communicate, think, and also in making their own decisions (deciding for themselves). Researchers raise this issue with the aim of encouraging parents to be able to apply Islamic education in parenting and link it to the child's psychological stages, namely (a) social and emotional children, (b) children's language/communication, (c) children's movement/physical development , and (d) cognitive (learning, thinking, solving problems). While the research method used in this study is the method of interviewing through several trusted sources which is carried out through voice notes with the WhatsApp application, chat room, or telephone. Based on these interviews it was found that the scientific theories (child psychologically) presented by our sources are directly proportional to parenting taught by Islam.

Abstract

This case study-based research aims to examine the concept of dramatization in religious learning as a bridge in increasing students' character formation and tolerance in the dimensions of globalization and modernity. According to the concept initiated by Nunez and Navaro, dramatization can create a space where value education can be developed, which is usually challenging to achieve in an educational context. Contemporary scientists consider dramatization as a source of pedagogical effectiveness in internalizing various attitudes, positions, reasoning, and thoughts to promote a culture of peace. This research method uses qualitative, with a case study of online religious learning by lecturers at one of the tertiary institutions in Bandung. This research was built in two stages: 1) a literature study and 2) interviews with informants. The number of informants who participated in this research was 15 students, and then we analyzed the data using the theoretical approach of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show several urgent findings, including; 1) Dramatization of learning contributes significantly to increasing individual piety, tolerance, and cognitive aspects, 2) the success of learning dramatization is built on three fundamental processes that are interconnected, namely 1) Pre-Learning, 2) Learning Process, and 3) Post-Learning.

Abstract

Radicalism is seen as dangerous for the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. It is contradictory to Islamic values, where Islam upholds the principles of tolerance, peace, and respect for one's beliefs.
