Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the behavior of addiction to watching Korean-drama and social relationships on SMPN 13 Pekanbaru.this research is done because of the increasingly widespread Korean wave in Indonesia that makes teenagers the main target. The school where the research was carried out many consequences arising from Korean wave for example students prefer to spend time in class to watch the Korean drama rather than playing with his friend. One of the effects of watchingKorean dramas is the growing individual consumptive towards Korean dramas that neglect their social relationships with the environment. The aim of the research is to know the description of the addiction behavior of watching Korean drama and the image of social relations of students who are addicted to watching Korean drama. The results of data analysis of the addiction rate watching Korean drama show that the image of addiction behavior watching Korean drama students is in the moderate category with the percentage of 60,87% and the social relations of students who are addicted to watching Korean drma >6 episodes of students have a good social relationship with a percentage of 56,52%. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the description of the characteristics of street childrens and to know the self-adjustment of street childrens in Arifin Ahmad street, Pekanbaru. This research type is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data source in this study was the street childrens who were taken as respondents as many as 6 childrens of which 6 childrens have different activity in the day on the street. Data collected using the instruments include observation and structured interviews. The research results obtained by the characteristics of street childrens in the intersection red light Arifin Ahmad, aged 8-18 years, dominated the child-sex male and 1 female child, the majority of street childrens in the region do not attend school, work for 4-6 hours in a day, they still have a close relationship with parents so that communication with parents is still awake, most childrens still have parents, and live together. Street childrens are seen already adjusting to his environment, both physically and socially. The child looks able to adapt with the weather, have a good relationship with friends, neighbors, as well as showing a caring attitude to friends and also to other people who need help, as well as childrens also have been able to find a way in resolving the problem.Key Words: Self-adjustment, The Street Childrens.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out the activity profile of street children. This type of research is research using a qualitative approach and analyzed descriptively to obtain information. The informant in this study is a street child who is on Jalan Harapan Raya Kota Pekanbaru, numbering 3 people. This study uses data retrieval techniques, namely, interviews and observations. Samples in qualitative research are named as sources or informants. The informant in this study is a street child who is on Harapan Raya road, Pekanbaru numbering 3 children consisting of 3 girls. Taken using a sampling technique, purposive sampling. The results showed that street children on Harapan Raya street are included in the Type of Children on the street. Street children's activities are divided into two, namely, physical and non-physical. Physical activities of street children such as cleaning the house, helping parents, playing, and working on the streets by selling newspapers. While non-physical activity is closely related to the way street children think, study at school and at home, pray in the mosque and the feelings they experience.Key Words: Profile, Activity, Street Children.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of reframing techniques to increase the confidence of Pro Skill Health Vocational School students in Indonesia. This type of research is a quantitative study with an experimental method using the research design One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The measuring instrument used in this study is the self-confidence measurement scale consisting of 50 items before the validity, and after the validity obtained valid items number 38 items with validity of 0.349 and reliability of 0.884. Determination of the subject using purposive sumpling technique, and getting 7 subjects from the Indonesian Pro Skill Health Vocational School students identified as having low self-confidence levels. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study proved that the research hypothesis was accepted. This is known from "Test Statistics", known as Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.018. Because the value of 0.018 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted". To that end, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the self-confidence score before and after being given treatment in the form of reframing technique. Based on the calculations that have been made, the 71% Pre-test is in the low category and 29% in the very low category. Post-test was 14% in the very high category, 58% in the high category and 28% in the medium category. Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So that it can be concluded that reframing techniques can increase students' confidence in Pro Skill Health Vocational School Indonesia.Key Words: reframing technique, confidence

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of cognitive restructuring techniques on the decline in academic procrastination of students at the Vocational High School Health Pro-Skill Indonesian Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research with the experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study was the scale of student academic procrastination measurement which consisted of 47 items before validation, and after validation obtained 34 valid items with validity 0.509 and reliability 0.929. The subjects of this study were 7 students who were identified as having high levels of academic procrastination. The data analysis technique used is non parametric statistical techniques using the Rank Spearman test. The results of the study prove that the research hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, from the results of the Rank Spearman test, r = 0.793, while the correlation coefficient r2 is 0.628. Thus there is the influence of cognitive restructuring techniques on student academic procrastination by 63% in Vocational High School Health Pro-Skill Indonesian Pekanbaru. From the results of the Wilcoxon test obtained (Asymp.Sig) 0.018 <0.05 it can be concluded that there are differences in the scores of student academic procrastination before and after cognitive restructuring techniques are given.Key Words: Cognitive Restructuring, Academic Procrastination

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to determine the differences in student self esteem before and after Cognitive Restructuring technique was applied through group guidance and to determine the effect of Cognitive Restructuring techniques to improve student self esteem through group guidance. The study was conducted at Pekanbaru State 21 Middle School against 7 subjects with a purposive sampling technique. The research design was pre-experiment with the one group pre-test post-test model. The instrument of data collection used is the scale of self-esteem measurement. The results showed that there were differences in self-esteem of students before and after being given the Cognitive Restructuring technique with a significance value of 0.018 <0.05. In addition, based on the Spearman rank test, it is known that there is a significant influence between Cognitive Restructuring techniques to improve students' self esteem with a significance value of 0.033 <0.05. The effect of Cognitive Restructuring techniques to improve student self esteem is 63% while 37% is influenced by other factors that come from within and from the student's environment. From the results obtained, it is recommended that educational institutions should continue to carry out activities that are able to improve student self esteem in the teaching and learning process to encourage more positive self-development, physical, social, family, and moral-ethics.Key Words : Cognitive Restructuring Technique, Self Esteem,, Group Guidance

Abstract

Abstract: Use of the Internet and Emotional Conditions to Students in SMP Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. This study covers about the increasingly rapid use of the Internet. The high number of internet users is dominated by teenagers. And now students can not be separated from the internet. The existence of a visible stimulus in the internet this makes students generate a response. Before the response arises, the brain first processes the stimulus. One form of response that arises is the emotion. So, the purpose of this research is to know the general picture of internet usage of students in general and to know the picture of emotional condition using internet student in SMP Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. The method used is descriptive method. The data collection tool used is a questionnaire. The population in this study is class IX. Class IX consists of 9 classes. The collection of random sampling is the class, which is 50% of the total population. So, there are 4 classes that are so sample in this research. The results of research that has been done, then the picture of the use of the internet in general in SMP Negeri 9 Pekanbaru is in the category of being. And in line with the use of this internet, researchers also see a picture of the emotional state of students who use the internet is in the category of being. The conclusion obtained is the dominant use of internet in the medium category for the three aspects of information interests (information utility), fun activities (fun activities) and email. Students who use the internet have happy emotions, and are sad at high categories, fearful and angry in the medium category. In happy emotions experienced are happy, happy, and carefree. In the sad emotions experienced are grief, longing and sadness. In the emotions of fear experienced are fear, worry, anxiety and restlessness. And the angry emotions experienced are anger, growl and disgust.Keyword: Emotional Condition, Internet Usage

Abstract

Abstrak: The objectives of this research to develop a single parent for street children education module in terms of material clarity, material systematics, image support, the suitability of material delivery time, material completeness, module accuracy, module usability, and module feasibility. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The steps used are (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, and (6) product manufacturing. The instruments of this research are the validation sheets to get the feasibility test results, while the validators in this study is 2 validator material guidance counseling and 2 guidance counseling practitioners. The results of this study indicate that a single parent education module for street children has been compiled in terms of eight aspects. All aspects of the development of the education module for the single parent of street children can be said to meet the expected criteria with a percentage gain of 76.5% so that it is in the "feasible" category. Thus the development of the street children single parent education module can be said to be tested as a service material used by the social services, Bkkbn and BK teachers in providing services to single parent of street children.Key Words: Education Module Development, Single Parent, Street Children

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the aggressive behavior experienced by child victims of exploitation and the factors that encourage exploited children to behave aggressively in the red light area of Tabek Gadang, Pekanbaru, Riau. Child victims of exploitation tend to get various forms of violence against themselves, thus allowing child victims of exploitation to commit acts of violence. This type of research uses descriptive research qualitative. The research subjects in this study were 3 people who were taken using accidental (insindental) techniques. The instruments used in this study were observation and interviews. Based on the results of this study, child victims of exploitation commit and experience aggressive physical and verbal behavior. The results of this study indicate that child victims of exploitation engage in aggressive behavior in the form of shouting, coercing, insulting and kicking, while the aggressive behavior experienced is being yelled at, insulted, yelled at, insulted, forced, kicked, pushed, and hit in the legs, factors that encourage child victims of exploitation. perform aggressive behavior, namely peers and the environment.Key Words: Aggressiveness, Child Victims of Exploitation, Descriptive Researc Qualitative

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to meet and clearly describe the picture of the characteristics and social interactions among the street kids around traffics light in front of governor’s office of Pekanbaru city. The subjects of this study were seven street children. This research method uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Characteristics of street children at a red light in front of the city Gubernur office in Pekanbaru aged 8 to 14 years, the activities carried out on the streets mostly peddle newspapers and hawkers. Street children are still intensive meeting with family even though it doesn’t take long to get together and still have a fairly complete family. Patterns of social interaction among the street children with families which include cooperation, accommodation, assimilation and acculturation, competition, dan conflict has gone well in all aspects. Street children interact well with their families, there is no meaningful conflict or disagreement, the dominant aspect of social interaction with street children is the collaboration of street children in the family, assimilation and acculturation, competition, and opposition.Key Words: Characteristics, Social Interaction, Street Children
