Abstract

Basic immunization is a right for every child. Immunization is one of the public health efforts that can protect infants from various diseases. The role of immunization in saving the world community from illness, disability and death due to diseases that can be prevented by immunization (PD3I). The purpose of this literature review is to determine what determinants affect Complete Basic Immunization in Infants. The method in this study uses the literature review method. The criteria that the articles used in this review are: they must be published between 2019 and 2023; they must be fully accessible (full text); they must have a descriptive, correlative, or analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach; And the specific sample of the study was mothers who had babies. The articles reviewed were 15 articles. The results of this study found many factors that can affect the completeness of immunity in infants. These factors include: maternal factors (maternal characteristics, maternal knowledge, self-awareness, maternal motivation, and maternal perception) including factors such as economic status, maternal income, employment status and family and husband support, vaccine availability, health facility supplies, and immunization service coverage. The suggestion in this study is that to achieve the completeness of basic immunization in infants requires good collaboration between families and parents of infants and the role of health workers.
