Abstract

Competition between universities in this day and age is getting tougher. Higher education is requested to be able to develop an academic community that is competitive, creative, innovative, skilled, and able to develop and apply knowledge in accordance with the values of the Humanities. Colleges are competing to improve their quality so that customer confidence increases. Therefore we need a performance measurement system that can be used by management to evaluate its performance. The results of this evaluation will be very important to plan and determine strategic steps and strategies to achieve the institution's vision, mission and goals. One method that can be used as a performance measurement tool is the balanced scorecard method. The balanced scorecard is an organizational performance measurement model that not only emphasizes how far the success of the organization is seen from a financial perspective, but also from the perspective of customers, internal business processes, and learning and growth. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the XYZ Padang College when measured using the Balanced Scorecard method. The final result of this study is a strategy map that can help XYZ Padang College in carrying out its institution. Keywords: performance measurement, balanced scorecard, college, strategy map

Abstract

Incidence of medication errors, nosocomial infections, falling patients, pressure sores (pressure sores) is often found in hospitals. This incident can be prevented by identifying the risk and finding the root of the problem using Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA). This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the FMEA method on the quality of hospital services using a systematic review method. This research starts from searching for data using five databases with the keywords "FMEA or Risk Management or HFMEA" and "service quality" and "hospital" then doing screenings and feasibility assessments of 17 articles. The results of this study were seventeen articles describing the FMEA method in several hospital service processes where the evaluation results of the FMEA method could improve service quality. Therefore the FMEA method is effectively applied to the service process starting from identifying the risk of failure in service, implementing preventive measures to improve the quality of hospital services in the form of security dimensions, effectiveness, and efficiency. So this study recommends the use of the FMEA method in identifying the risk of failure to improve service quality.

Abstract

Resilience is an essential element to be built in the nursing profession in order to overcome challenges and difficulties in the workplace. Relationship and effective support that comes from family, friends and peers are factors that influence resilience. To examine the relationship between social support and nurse resilience. This research applied a quantitative design with cross sectional approach. The samples were taken by proportional random sampling and 110 nurses were chosen as the samples.  The instruments in this study were CD-RISC 10 and MSPSS with modified.  There is a relationship between social support and nurse resilience. Suggestion: Hospital management may design an innovative and creative programs to increase nurses’ perceived social support such as family gathering programs, family hospital tour programs and mentoring as an effort to increase their resilience

Abstract

The nurse's performance in providing nursing care has not been implemented well. This study aims to analyze and identify the influence of competency on the performance of nurses in the health center in Dharmasraya District. This type of research is descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The population of this study was all nurses at the health center in Dharmasraya District, with a sample of 165 nurses, using proportional random sampling. The data analysis method used was SEM with the help of Smart-PLS. Based on the results of testing the hypotheses obtained three variables that have a significant positive influence on the performance of the health center nurses, namely helping role competency, therapeutic interventions and work roles on the performance of the health center nurses. For the teaching-coaching variable there is no positive but significant influence on the performance of the health center nurse. In the diagnostic function competency, managing situation and ensuring quality does not have a significant positive effect on the performance of the health center nurse. It is expected that the organization can maintain three competencies that affect the performance of nurses and improve competencies that are still lacking through training, seminars and supervision.

Abstract

The vulnerability of COVID-19 transmission for Caregiver Professionals (PPA) who work in hospitals requires efforts to prevent it. One of the efforts implemented is the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). However, the comfort of wearing PPE has an influence on the performance of PPA in the hospital, especially the performance of PPA who works in the operating room. This influence starts from the dimensions of work quality performance, work quantity, work timeliness, effectiveness, work independence and work interpersonal relationships. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of the convenience of using personal protective equipment (PPE) on the performance of the surgical care provider (PPA) in the Padang City Hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a quantitative research with Cross Sectional method. The population in this study is PPA who work in operating rooms and provide services to COVID-19 surgical patients, totaling 252 people and the research sample as many as 155 people. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire on Convenience of Using Personal Protective Equipment Covid-19, Factors that Affect the Comfort of PPE and Performance During Use of Personal Protective Equipment. Test method Data collection with frequency distribution analysis using SPSS and SEM analysis PLS 3.0. The results showed that there were 5 factors that were significantly related to the use of PPE, namely effectiveness, interpersonal, independence, quantity and working time with p-values of each (sig value) < 0.05, namely 0.001, 0.000, 0.000,0.000, 0.012 and One factor that is not significantly related is the quality of work with a p-value (sig value 0.066 > 0.05.

Abstract

During the pandemic Covid-19, hospital must give the care more. It makes the medical staff condition changes, especially nurse. It makes the nurse got fatigue more, stressing of high-risk disease transmission, unwell work environment, lack of facilities and infrastructure and lack of communication among the medical staff. These condition influences the nursing work life quality such as: Work Life / Home Life, Work Design, Work Context, Work World. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between nursing work life quality and nursing life quality during Covid-19 pandemic at RSUD M. Natsir. The research design is quantitative descriptive by using cross sectional survey online. The population is all executive nurses who involve directly in Covid-19 patient care, namely 65 persons. The research instrument used questionnaire of quality of Nursing Work Life dan WHOQOL-BREFF. The data collection used frequency distributed analysis and SEM PLS 3.0. It’s gotten three dimension of nursing work life quality which is related with life quality significantly namely Work Design, Work Context and Work World with the value for each dimension 0,000, 0,025 and 0,019 means (significant value) < 0,05 while Work Life /Home Life dimension (significant value) s 0,497 > 0,05 with T statistic value 0,007 < T table 1,645 so this dimension does not have significant correlation with nursing work life. It is hoped the hospital management give more attention for work satisfaction, work burden, work communication, work image, salary, and safety during the duty in caring the patient of Covid-19.

Abstract

AbstrakDokumentasi asuhan keperawatan harus dilakukan dengan lengkap dan akurat karena merupakan pertahanan diri perawat terhadap tuntutan juga sebagai bukti bahwa asuhan keperawatan benar telah dilakukan. Tujuan: Mengidentifikasi keakuratan dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan di Instalasi Rawat Inap salah satu rumah sakit di Sumatera Barat. Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan observasi terhadap dokumen rekam medis. Sampel adalah 305 dokumen dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah D-Cath Instrument. Hasil: Keakuratan pengkajian keperawatan sebagian lengkap (76,7%), keakuratan diagnosis keperawatan hanya mengandung masalah keperawatan saja (957%), keakuratan intervensi keperawatan tidak ada tindakan/aktifitas keperawatan (81,3%), keakuratan catatan perkembangan dan evaluasi sebagian lengkap (63,9%) dan legibility/keterbacaan kualitas baik (69,2%). Simpulan: Keakuratan dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan masih kurang, untuk itu masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi melalui pelatihan.

Abstract

  Organizations such as statistical institutions are under constant pressure from the need to compete, not just the need to respond quickly to changes in data and information needs. Organizations such as statistical institutions must also inspire employees to do their best and encourage employees to fulfill their performance by giving rise to OCB behavior. This study examines how organizational employees can influence them in their transformational leadership behaviors, organizational culture, organizational commitment and OCB. Total of 186 employees of a government organization participated in the study. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The results show that transformational leadership and organizational culture influence organizational commitment positively. Transformational leadership, organizational culture, and organizational commitment positively influence OCB. Organizational commitment does not act as a mediator between transformational leadership and OCB. Organizational commitment acts as a partial mediator between organizational culture and OCB.Keywords : Leadership Transformational, Culture Organizational, Commitment Organizational, Organiztional Citizhenship Behaviour

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of role ambiguity on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction. The population in this research is ASN employees (State Civil Servants) at the Puskesmas located in Padang Panjang City. Samples of this research are 108 people that have taken with a purposive sampling technique. The results of this research show: 1) Role ambiguity has a negative and significant effect on employee performance. 2) Role Ambiguity has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction felt by employees, and 3) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and 4) Job satisfaction acts as a mediating variable of the unclear role on employee performancehttps://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v8i1.4001

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of role conflict on employee performance; spiritual intelligence on role conflict; spiritual intelligence on employee performance; and, role conflict mediated by spiritual intelligence on employee performance. Role conflicts include intrarole conflict, intrasender conflict, interrole conflict, and conflicting expectations and requests and incompatible evaluation standards. 108 ASN employees working in four health centers in XYZ city were selected as samples using a purposive sampling method. The results of the study found that conflict of intrasender and conflicting expectations and requests and incompatible evaluation standards had a significant effect on employee performance; and that spiritual intelligence partially mediates the relationship between conflicting expectations and expectations and incompatible evaluation standards on employee performance. Dominant factor that affect employee performance is conflicting expectations and requests and incompatible evaluation standards, so this factor should be a major concern for research objects in realizing their organizational goals.
