Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the growth and production of watermelon caused by bayfolan fertilizer and manure cow used Group Randomized Design factorial with two factors. The results showed that the use of bayfolan fertilizers significant influence on all parameters except the observation of the fruit diameter. While the treatment of cattle manure only had a marked influence on the age parameters of harvest, and no significant effect on other parameters. For the interaction between the two treatments, namely the provision of bayfolan fertilizer and manure cow showed no significantly different effect on all parameters of the observations. Abstract

AbstractResearch was conducted using a randomized block design (RBD), non-factorial with 10 treatments and 3 replications and tested using Duncant Multiple Range Test (DMRT) to see the effect of extract of bamboo shoots and bean sprouts on the growth of oil palm seedlings in pre nursery with five measurement parameters namely plant height (cm), number of leaves (leaves), leaf area (cm2), seedling dry weight (grams) and seedling fresh weight (grams). In this study differences in the doses used in the treatment level is too low at 0.5 cc / l. So the difference of the data obtained is not significant between all treatment levels. But from the results of the study dose of 1 cc / l in the use of bamboo shoot extract is more effective for high growth, leaf number, leaf area, fresh weight and dry weight of oil palm seedlings, and in the use of effective sprouts extract on the growth of plant height and leaf area.Keywords: palm oil, ZPT, bamboo shoots. bean sprouts.

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to evaluate the growth response of cocoa seedlings by stripping the pulp and seed husks in cocoa and Bayfolan fertilizer. The design used was factorial randomized block design  with two factors were studied, namely: Seed Treatment Factor (K) consists of three levels, ie K1 = stripping lime pulp with water immersion, K2 = stripping pulp by rubbing ashes, K3 = partial stripping of the epidermis, and the provision of fertilizer Bayfolan factor (B) is divided into three levels, namely B1 = 2 ml / liter of water, B2 = 3 ml / liter of water, and B3 = 4 ml / liter of water. While the parameters measured were plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, leaf area, wet weight and wet weight on the bottom. The results showed that seed treatment showed a marked influence on plant height parameters ages 4, 6, 8 and 10 weeks after moving planting (MSPT), the number of leaf age of 4, 6 and 8 MSPT, and stem diameter MSPT age 8, but did not differ parameter significant at age 10 MSPT leaf number, stem diameter ages 4, 6 and 10 MSPT, leaf area, as well as wet weight. While the treatment of fertilizer Bayfolan showed different effects are not real at all parameter above observations. In the interaction shows a significantly different effect on the parameters of high-cocoa seedlings MSPT age 10, but not significant different in other observational parameters.Keywords: cocoa seedling, growth response,bayfolan, Theobroma cacao L.

Abstract

AbstractThis study to determine the effect of Golden Harvest fertilizer and Rhizobium on growth and production of soybean (Glycine max L.). Implemented using the design of Plots Divided  factorial with two factors. The results showed that administration of Golden Harvest Fertilizer real influence on plant height parameters (2 and 3 MST MST), the number of branch age (4 and 6 MST MST), the age of flowering, harvest age, number of pods per plant contains, dry weight of 100 seeds and production per plot, but did not differ significantly to the age of 5 MST plant height, number of branches MST ages 2 and 3, the number of root nodules and the number of pods. Provision of Rhizobium give significantly different results at age 3 parameters plant height and number of branches MST MST age 4, but different is not real high on the plant age (2 and 4 MST MST), the number of branch age (2, 3, and 6 MST), age flowering, harvest age, the number of root nodules, the number of pods contain, the number of empty pods, and production per plot. And interactions between Golden Harvest Fertilizer and Rhizobium give significantly different results to the parameters age plant height and number of branches 6 MST MST age 5, but different is not real high on the plant parameter 2 s / d 5 MST, the number of branches of the age of 2, 3, 4 and 6 MST, the age of flowering, harvest age, the number of root nodules, contains a number of pods, number of empty pods, and production per plot.Keywords: Rhozobium, Golden Harvest, growth, soybean production

Abstract

Penelitian untuk memperoleh dosis pupuk organik dan anorganik yang tepat untuk efisiensi danmengurangi ketergantungan terhadap pupuk anorganik dilakukan dengan percobaan 4x4 faktorialmenggunakan masing-masing kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawi plus t dan pupuk anorganik , dengantiga perulangan yang dicoba mulai Juni sampai September 2007 di Jalan Tuar Kelurahan Medan Amplas, Kecamatan Mean Denai, Kotamadya Medan. Perlakuan terhadap kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit plus pada K0= kompos TKS tanpa penambahan , K1= Kompos TKS plus pupuk kandang, K3= Kompos TKS plus pupuk kandang dan pupuk. Perlakuan pupuk anorganik pada P0= tanpa pupuk anorganik, P1= 25% pupuk anorganik( 25kg urea, 37,5kg SP-36 dan 37,5 kg KCl), P2= 50% pupuk anorganik (50 kg urea, 75 kg SP-36 dan 75 kg KCl) dan P3= 100% pupuk anorganik (100 kg urea, 150 kg SP-36 dan 150 kg KCl). Kompos TKS plus dapat meningkatkan produksi dan pertumbuhan kacang kedelai, hasil paling tinggi diperoleh pada kompos TKS plus pupuk kandang plus perlakuan dengan pupuk diikuti oleh kompos TKS plus pupuk dan kompos TKS plus pupuk kandang. Pupuk anorganik dapat meningkatkan produksi dan pertumbuhan kacang kedelai, yang paling tinggi diperoleh padapenambahan 100% pupuk anorganik. Dosis pupuk organic dan anorganik yang tepat tidak diperolehkarena interaksi keduanya tidak signifikan.Kata kunci: kacang kedelai, kompos TKS plus, pupuk anorganik.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of rice husk ash and fertilizer seprint as well as the interaction between rice husk ash and fertilizer on the growth and production seprint watermelon plants by using a design Plots Divided (Split Plot Design) with two factors studied namely rice husk ash as the main plots with namely two-stage treatment without rice husk ash (A0) and using rice husk ash (A1). Fertilizer seprint as subplot with three-stage treatment is a dose of 3 ml / L (S1), 6 ml / L (S2) and 9 ml / L (S3) while the measured parameter is the length of plant, age started flowering, age begin to harvest, diametre and the weight of fruits. Research suggests that the use of rice husk ash can significantly affect the parameters of fruit diameter, but not significantly affect the length of the plant parameters, age starts to flower and begin to harvest age. Abstract

Pakchoi (Brassica rapaL.) adalah jenis sayur yang bernilai gizi tinggi. Untuk tetap menjamin produktivitasnya, pemupukan merupakan hal yang harus dilakukan, diantaranya dengan memberikan pupuk organik yang berasal dari limbah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pupuk bokashi kulit buah kakao dan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) kulit pisang kepok terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi pakchoi.Tempat dilaksanakannya penelitian di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara.  Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan dua faktor yang diteliti, yaitu: Faktor bokashi kulit buah kakao (B) terdiri dari 4 taraf, B1 = 50 g/polibeg, B2 = 100 g/polibeg, B3 = 150 g/polibeg, B4 = 200 g/polibeg. Faktor POC kulit pisang kepok (P) terdiri dari 4 taraf, P0 = Kontrol, P1 = 25 ml/polibeg P2 = 50 ml /polibeg, P3 =75 ml/polibeg. Parameter yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan luas daun.  Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa pupuk bokashi kulit buah kakao memberikan pengaruh  yang nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 4 sampai 6 minggu setelah pindah tanam (MSPT), jumlah daun umur 3 MSPT dan luas daun pada 5 MSPT. Pemberian POC kulit pisang kepok memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 4 sampai 6 MSPT, serta luas daun 5 dan 6 MSPT.Diberikannya pupuk bokashi kulit buah kakao berinteraksi secara nyata dengan pemberian POC kulit pisang kepok terhadap tinggi tanaman 3 MSPT, jumlah daun 4 dan 6 MSPT.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of organic manure on growth and yield of two varieties of sweet corn (Zea Mays saccharata Sturt). Implemented in Jl. Door Air IV B Simalingkar village, subdistrict of Medan Medan Johor, with ± 25 m altitude above sea level in April 2013 to July 2013 using the design Plots Divided (RPT). Factors studied consists of two varieties and liquid organic fertilizer. The difference between the two varieties (V) as the main plot consists of two levels and V1 = V2 = jamboree Varieties Varieties bonanza and given liquid organic fertilizer is fertilizer Santamicro (S) as the subplot consisted of 4 levels ie at concentrations of 0, 1, 2, and 3 ml / liter of water, each with a symbol S0, S1, S2, and S3. The results showed that the liquid organic fertilizer higher Santamicro gave the highest yield in ear length, ear diameter, ear weight per plant, and weight of cobs per plot with a concentration of 3 ml / liter of water. Plant sweet corn varieties jamboree gives a higher influence on plant height and number of leaves. The combination of organic liquid fertilizer concentration Santamicro with two sweet corn varieties provide tangible interactions on the growth and yield of sweet corn. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the growth and production of sweet corn on the provision of cow manure and ABG fertilizer. The design used was Randomized Design Group factorial with two factors were studied, namely: Cow Manure factor (K) is divided into 4 level without giving Ko =, K1 = 2 kg / plot, K2 = 4 kg / plot, and K3 = 6 kg / plot, and the factor ABG fertilizer (A) divided into 4 standard, namely A0 = no treatment (control), A1 = 2 cc / l of water, A2 = 4 cc / l of water, and A3 = 6 cc / l of water. Cow manure as the first factor and ABG fertilizer as second factor, while the parameters measured were plant height (cm), age of flowering (days), cob length (cm), cob weight (kg), dry seed weight (g), number of leaves (pieces) and leaf area (cm2). The results showed that administration of cow manure (K) gives a marked influence on all parameters except number of leaves observed. ABG fertilizer (A) gives significant effect on leaf area, cob length and cob weight and height parameters are not significant at the plant, leaf number and age of flowering. While the interaction treatment gives a significant influence on the length parameter cob and leaf area, and no real effect on plant height, leaf number, flowering age, weight and cob weight of dry beans.Keywords: cow manure, fertilizer, growth, production, Zea mays saccharata Sturt

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aplikasi Trichoderma pada beberapa sumber pupuk kandang dan dosis penggunaan terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tomat dataran rendah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Lama, Hamparan Perak, Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial tiga ulangan dengan dua faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama adalah aplikasi Trichoderma dengan pupuk kandang pupuk kandang sapi, pupuk kandang kambing, dan pupuk kandang ayam. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk 0, 1.5, dan 3 kg/polybag. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan aplikasi Trichoderma dengan berbagai sumber pupuk kandang memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tomat yang diukur. Perlakuan dosis dengan berbagai taraf memberikan pengaruh nyata pada umur mulai berbunga, jumlah buah per tanaman sampel, berat buah per tanaman sampel, produksi buah per plot dan produksi buah per hektar namun tidak nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah bunga dan persentase bunga menjadi buah. Interaksi antara kedua perlakuan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tomat yang diukur.
