Abstract

Berpikir kritis merupakan faktor penting dalam pembelajaran pada semua mata pelajaran. Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan yang sangat esensial dalam semua aspek kehidupan. Kemampuan berpikir kritis bukan warisan dari orang tua atau bawaan sejak lahir, tetapi sesuatu yang perlu pembiasaan, yaitu dilatih secara bertahap dan berkesinambungan. Fisika merupakan ilmu pengetahuan yang autentik, esensial, dapat dilogika dan dinalar dengan akal sehat serta merupakan ilmu yang sangat mendasar. Pembelajaran berbasis masalah merupakan pembelajaran kooperatif, pembelajaran yang mengkondisikan siswa untuk berpartisipasi aktif, baik secara individu maupun kelompok dengan menggunakan suatu permasalahan sebagai titik awal disetiap pembelajarannya.Seorang guru dalam melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar dituntut untuk menjadikan peserta didik berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan bisa memecahkan masalah dalam kehidupan nyata. Penerapkan model pembelajaran problem solving pada mata pelajaran IPA-fisika tingkat SMP, diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritisnya, sehingga mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan pada kehidupan nyata dimasyarakat setelah peserta didik lulus sekolah.

Abstract

This research is motivated by female prisoners who have physical and psychological problems, especially those who are related to self-image such as lack of self-confidence, low self-esteem, low self-acceptance, desperation, stress, and inhibited relationships. This study aims to describe the self-image of female prisoners in terms of types of cases, the self-image of female prisoners in terms of the criminal period, and see the difference in self-image when viewed from the type of case and criminal period. The research method used is a quantitative method ,comparative descriptive type with factorial design. The research subjects in this study were 32 female prisoners in LPKA class IIB Tanjung Pati. The instrument in this study used a self-image scale. Data is obtained by collecting the administering instrument and then processed through statistical techniques to determine the total score, mean, standard deviation, interval scale, frequency, and percentage. To see the difference in self-image in terms of types of cases and criminal periods simultaneously a Variant Analysis ?ANAVA ?technique was applied by using ? SPSS statistical program for windows release 15.0.? The results showed that the self-image of female prisoners is in the high category, the self-image of female prisoners in terms of the types of cases is in the high category, the self-image of female prisoners in terms of the criminal period is in the high category, and there is no significant difference in the self-image of female prisoners when reviewed from the type of case and criminal period simultaneously. The implication of this research is the need for counselors in prison to provide guidance and counseling services to female prisoners. Counselors can help overcome the problems experienced by female prisoners and help prisoners maintain a positive self-image especially those related to self-image.

Abstract

Emotional intelligenceplays an important rolein education, one of themin theschoolelection. Emotionallyintelligentstudentsselect schoolsaccording totheir owndesiresand interestsandtalents. In factthere aresomestudentswho indicatedlessemotionallyintelligent, whichis stilldependent onhis parentsandwent along witha friendinhigh schoolelection, causingdisappointmentin himafterentering theselected schools. Results ofthe studyrevealedthat(1) the emotionalintelligenceof studentsin theschoolelectionsfrom the aspects ofthe bulkidentify emotionsin middle category(2) aspects ofmanagingemotionsmostlyin middle category(3) aspects ofmotivating yourselfto beinthe medium category. From the research resultssuggestedTeacherGuidanceandCounseling/Counselorsprovideguidanceandcounselingservicesthatcanminimizethe lessintelligentstudentsemotionally, so thatstudentscandevelop the potentialin him. The servicescanbe giventhatthe serviceinformation, servicecontentmastery, andgroup counselingservicesthatmatterrelating toemotional intelligenceservices. It can also begivenindividualcounselingservicesfor students who have less troubleemotionallyintelligent. Thenit is also suggestedtohomeroom, principals, andschoolpersonnelin order tocooperatein identifyingandprovidinggreat attentionto studentswhoare lessemotionallyintelligent.

Abstract

Abstract: The independence of behavior is individual who was able in making decisions, not influenced by others, and have the confidence. In fact there are many students confused and follow some of their friends in choosing majors. The purpose of this study illustrate the independence of the decision-making behavior, not influenced by others, and have the confidence in choosing majors. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. Population of 180 people and 64 people samples of learners. Abstract

Effective guidance services need cooperation of BK teachers with other personnel at the school. In fact, it’s still less cooperation BK teachers with subject teachers in BK services at the schools. This study aims to reveal cooperation the BK teacher with subject teachers in developing the way of learning student. Forms of quantitative research is descriptive type. The results revealed that BK teacher cooperation with subject teachers in developing the way of learning student good average.

Abstract

Discipline is the process of learning and the creation of a compliance with the rules that have been established or created in schools to prevent violations. Various problems encountered with regard to compliance of students to comply with school rules and regulations, therefore it is necessary efforts BK teachers in improving student discipline through the information service. This study aims to describe students' opinions about the discipline and the efforts of teachers to increase BK. Abstract

Teacher Guidance and Counseling (BK) has a role in the implementation of home visits aimed to obtain and collect data. The reality is less BK teacher roles in the implementation of home visits, teachers held a BK less preparation in determining the timetable for implementation, BK teachers do home visits rarely communicate to students, with the teacher's role in the implementation of activities BK home visits has not done well. This research is a descriptive study, with a sample based on random cluster sampling, the number of teachers BK 20 people. The results: (1). BK teacher's role in communicating the plan home visits to related parties are on both criteria. (2). BK teacher's role in carrying out home visits on both criteria. BK teacher's role in carrying out home visits on both criteria. Based on the research findings, the role of teachers in the implementation of BK kunjuungan home located on both criteria. Abstract

Pada konseling kelompok gestalt, anggota kelompok dapat memanfaatkan keberadaannya di dalam kelompok untuk menyalurkan dan mengekspresikan pemikiran, perasaan, dan perilakunya selama ini yang bermasalah. Untuk bisa mencapai kegiatan kelompok yang efektif dan efisien, seorang pemimpin kelompok gestalt harus mampu melaksanakan kegiatan sesuai tahap-tahap pembentukan konseling kelompok. Selanjutnya pemimpin kelompok gestalt harus memahami permasalahan keanggotaan kelompok, konflik yang muncul dalam kelompok konseling, kedalam pengungkapan diri antar anggota, dan menutup/ menghentikan kegiatan kelompok. Hal tersebut perlu adanya penilaian agar apa yang dilakukan berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan konseling kelompok. Konselor idealnya melaksanakan penilaian selama rentang kegiatan, mulai dari awal konseling sampai akhir konseling, di mana konselor akan memperoleh data yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menyusun, menyelenggarakan dan mengevaluasi kegiatan konseling kelompok yang dilaksanakan sesuai dengan kondisi klien yang tergambar melalui kegiatan asesmen.

Abstract

Self-confidence is an attitude that students need to have in order to develop their potential optimally. But in reality at school students are still afraid to express opinions in front of the class, afraid of being laughed at by friends when expressing opinions in front of the class. Many things can be done to improve student            confidence one of them by utilizing guidance and counseling services, namely content mastery services. Thisstudy aims to examine differences in student confidence before and after content mastery services are provided using a self directed learning approach. This research uses quantitative methods. This type of research is a pre-experiment, using the one pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 12 students of SMP Negeri 13 Padang in class VIII of 12 students. Data were analyzed using nonparametric statistical techniques using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of the study noticed that the pretest score was 1480 and posttest 1951. Furthermore for the Asymp hypothesis test. Sig. (2-tailed) students' confidence in the experimental group was 0.002 or the probability under alpha 0.05 (0.002 ≤ 0.05) of these results revealed that Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that content mastery services using an effective self directed learning approach to increase student confidence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who lack empathy to help friends who need help. Altruistic behavior is an action taken by someone to provide assistance to others voluntarily and sincerely without expecting anything in return. This research aims to describe the altruistic behavior of students in terms of: (1) sharing, (2) cooperating, (3) helping, (4) contributing, (5) honesty, (6) generosity, and (7) consider the rights and welfare of others. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive type. The population of this study were 601 high school students in Kampung Dalam Padang Pariaman Regency. The total sample of 240 people was selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used was an altruistic behavior questionnaire for students. Data were processed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of the study revealed the altruistic behavior of students on; (1) the sharing aspect is in the medium category, (2) the cooperating aspect is in the high category, (3) the helping aspect is in the high category, (4) the donating aspect is in the category very high, (5) the honesty aspect is in the high category, (6) the generosity aspect is in the high category, (7) the aspect of considering the rights and welfare of others is in the high category. Based on the research findings, it is suggested to the Guidance and Counseling Teachers to be able to provide services in the form of information services, content mastery services, and group guidance services in order to further enhance altruistic behavior in students.
