Abstract

The people of Kalikejambon Village, Tembelang District, Jombang have several kinds of potential in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry and natural resources. Therefore, during the Covid-19 pandemic, people must always maintain their health and hand hygiene. One of the things to maintain cleanliness is by using hand sanitizer. During the pandemic, the need for hand sanitizers continues to increase so that solutions are needed, one of which is by making hand sanistizers using natural ingredients. The ingredients used are betel leaves and lime. One of the uses of these materials is a bacterial killer substance. Both ingredients contain essential oils and anti-bacterial substances. The purpose of this service is to invite the community to innovate in using appropriate technology (TTG). The discussion and lecture method is carried out in this activity with intensive assistance. The results of the questionnaire for making hand sanistizers are that 70% of this activity can improve the community's economy, 10% of residents consider hand sanitizers as natural disinfectants and as community innovations, 8% practice skills, and 2% as experiences. However, in reality on the ground, it turns out that residents still need to learn and continue to practice their skills in making betel leaf extract and lime hand sinitizers. After this service activity, it is hoped that the community can practice skills in making the hand sinitizer. The public knows the importance of making hand sinitizer and can be made using natural materials so that people do not need expensive costs in using hand sinitizers.

Abstract

Materi virus merupakan salah salah satu materi yang dianggap sulit karena banyak menggunakan bahasa dan istilah Latin, serta anggapan bahwa virus dan bakteri adalah sel prokariotik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi diketahui bahwa peserta didik tertarik untuk membaca bacaan yang memuat banyak gambar dan warna, maupun dikombinasikan dengan multimedia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan dan hasil respon terhadap media e-book multimedia berbasis pembelajaran kontekstual pada materi virus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan tujuh langkah awal R & D, Kelayakan media diukur dengan menggunakan uji validitas oleh validator ahli materi dan validator ahli media. Selain itu, terkait dengan respon pengguna terhadap e-book maka dilakukan uji respon oleh 10 peserta didik di Wilayah Kecamatan Jombang yang telah mempelajari materi virus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media e-book multimedia berbasis pembelajaran kontekstual materi virus kelas X berdasarkan penilaian validator ahli materi memperoleh nilai 91,17% yang berarti sangat layak dan validator ahli media memperoleh nilai 91,07% yang berarti sangat layak. Sedangkan hasil respon peserta didik dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media e-book multimedia berbasis pembelajaran kontekstual materi virus kelas X berdasarkan penilaian peserta didik memperoleh nilai 84% yang berarti sangat baik. Media e-book multimedia ini perlu dilakukan perbaikan berdasarkan saran dan masukan dari tim validator dan respon peserta didik. Media e-book multimedia berbasis pembelajaran kontekstual materi virus kelas X dapat gunakan untuk pembelajaran di kelas dengan syarat dilakukan penelitian pengembangan lebih lanjut dan uji coba yang lebih luas, sehingga diperoleh bahwa media e-book multimedia teruji validitasnya dan siap digunakan. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengidentifikasi bakteri, lebih tepatnya identifikasi morfologi sel dan tipe bakteri yang hasilnya akan dituangkan dalam Media Panduan Praktikum Mikrobiologi elektronik dan dilanjutkan dengan uji kelayakan dari validasi ahli dan uji kemenarikan dari respon peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, dan evaluateI). Penelitian ini dibatasi pada lima tahapan yaitu (1) tahap analisis produk (analyze), (2) tahap perancangan produk awal (design), (3) tahap pengembangan produk (develop), (4) tahap implementasi produk (implement), (5) tahap evaluasi (evaluate). Hasil identifikasi didapatkan 25 isolat bakteri dengan morfologi sel yang berbeda-beda. Dari isolat tersebut juga dilakukan pengecatan gram terhadap isolat bakteri tersebut, terdapat 24 isolat bakteri gram positif dan 1 isolat bakteri gram negatif. Bahwasannya media panduan praktikum mikrobiologi elektronik sangat layak digunakan, berdasarkan dari validasi ahli media, ini dibuktikan dengan skor presentase yang didapatkan yaitu sebesar 96%, dari validasi ahli materi didapatkan sebesar 80%. Hasil respon peserta didik juga membuktikan bahwa media panduan praktikum mikrobiologi elektronik sangat menarik, ini dibuktikan dengan skor presentase sebesar 86%. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan adanya lanjutan dari identifikasi morfologi sel dan tipe bakteri, yaitu dapat dilanjutkan dengan mengidentifikasi bakteri sampai pada tingkat genus maupun spesies.

Abstract

This e-module was developed during the covid-19 pandemic to make it easier for students to learn material that can be accessed from the link provided, this development research aims to develop a STEM-based learning e-Module on respiratory system material for class XI high school students by applying components STEM on each sub-material of the respiratory system to determine the feasibility of the media, materials and student responses to the developed e-module. The research method used in this research is the 4-D method, namely define, design, develop and detect. Data collection techniques were carried out using media expert validation tests, material expert validation tests and student response questionnaires distributed randomly via google form. The results of this development show the feasibility of the media 76% with appropriate criteria, 90% of the feasibility of the material with very feasible criteria, and the results of the student response questionnaire 86% with very interesting criteria. So that the development of STEM-based e-modules is feasible to be developed and can be used as a reference in learning

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic makes learning a limited, namely through online and face-to-face learning, then circulars from the government regarding simplification of lesson plans into 1 sheet with 3 main components, making it a challenge for a teacher to reconstruct the lesson plans, by adapting the current situation. The purpose of this research is to developing RPP Reconstruction Based on the Reverse Learning Model of the Human Respiratory System The material determines the feasibility of the learning design based on the learning validation questionnaire design experts, learning activities and attractiveness of lesson plans based on student responses. This research uses ADDIE a development model that has five stages, namely: 1) Analyze 2) Design 3) Develop 4) Implement, and 5) Evaluation. The subjects of this study were 2 learning design validation experts and 10 students class XI IPA. The instrument used is a learning design validation questionnaire experts and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are quantitative and qualitative. The results of the validation of learning design experts that the Inspirational lesson plan for this flipped learning model obtained an average value of 91.67% feasible, and the learning implementation of 95.53% was included in the very good category. Based on these results, this RPP reconstruction can be applied to the respiratory tract system material for class XI humans and is expected to be able to The inspirational RPP reconstruction can be applied to other materials.

Abstract

There are several agricultural areas in Denanyar Village, Jombang District. large distribution of refugia The purpose of this research is to explain the types of plants. wild, which has the potential to be a refugia in the rice farming area of Jombang District, explain relative density (KR), relative frequency (FR), relative dominance (DR), and important value index (INP) of refugia in the rice farming area of Jombang District and find out the results of the preparation of the e-catalog from the results of the analysis of plant vegetation. wild, which has the potential to be a refugia in the rice farming area of Jombang District. This study uses a quadratic sampling method with a plot size of 10 m x 10 m, which totals 10 plots. Results of research on plant vegetation analysis wild, which has the potential to be a refugia in the rice farming area of Jombang District. For the development of e-catalog teaching materials, 338 individuals, consisting of 11 plants, including: Mimosa pudica (Embarrassed Daughter), Eleusine indica (Grass reeds), Ricardia scarbra (coarse clover), Digitaria ciliaris (kebo grass), Ipomoea quamiochit (Earth detail), Amaranthus (Spinach thorn), Euphorbia hirta L. (Patikan seeds), green poinsettia (Green Kastuba), Bidens pilosa (Ajeran), and Ipomoea obscura (star white kale), and Ipomoea aquatica (Kangkung). The refugia Dominating the rice farming area is Eleusine indica (Grass Lulangan). Because in each plot there are these plants, so the relative density 100%, and the highest important value index (INP) at the weed level is 132.366%, while the level of shrubs is 88.145%. Research results later developed into an e-catalog that explains the types of wild plants that are potential as a refugia consisting of 11 plants consisting of Mimosa pudica (Embarrassed Daughter), Eleusine indica (Palm Grass), Ricardia scarbra (coarse clover), Digitaria ciliaris (kebo grass), and Ipomoea quamiochit (detailed earth), Amaranthus (spinach spines), Euphorbia hirta L. (patikan seeds), Green poinsettia (green Kastuba), Bidens pilosa (Ajeran), and Ipomoea obscura (Kale) white star), Ipomoea aquatica (Kangkung), along with its classification and description Morphologically, the e-catalog was developed with Wordpress.

Abstract

Preserving the environment is a form of love for the environment. Environmental conservation efforts can be carried out through various activities such as botanical exploration and the creation of botanical collections with economic value and their use for economic improvement. The community service activity program is expected to provide knowledge and skills to partners, namely MA Da'watul Khoir, in carrying out botanical exploration techniques and making botanical collections and can increase partner awareness in efforts to preserve the surrounding environment. This service activity also supports conservation measures and efforts to accommodate community needs regarding botanical collections that have economic value. In addition, this service activity also provides knowledge to partners about the introduction of types of trees in the partner school environment that can be used for making botanical collections. This counseling activity contains material on the importance of making botanical collections that have economic value using interactive two-way lecture, discussion and question-and-answer methods. This form of knowledge transfer is not only socialization but also practice. The results obtained from this activity are in the form of an understanding of partners in efforts to explore and conserve botany through the introduction of botanical collections that have economic value.   Menjaga kelestarian lingkungan merupakan salah satu bentuk cinta terhadap lingkungan. Upaya konservasi lingkungan dapat dilakukan melalui berbagai kegiatan, seperti eksplorasi botani dan pembuatan koleksi botani yang bernilai ekonomi serta pemanfaatannya dapat meningkatkan perekonomian. Program kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan mampu memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada mitra. Mitra yang dituju ialah MA Da’watul Khoir, mitra tersebut diajarkan dalam melakukan teknik eksplorasi botani dan pembuatan koleksi botani agar dapat meningkatkan kesadaran mitra dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan di sekitar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan dalam menunjang langkah pelestarian dan upaya mengakomodir kebutuhan masyarakat tentang koleksi botani yang bernilai ekonomi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini juga memberikan pengetahuan kepada mitra tentang pengenalan jenis-jenis pohon yang ada di lingkungan sekolah mitra yang dapat digunakan untuk pembuatan koleksi botani. Kegiatan penyuluhan berisi materi tentang pentingnya pembuatan koleksi botani yang bernilai ekonomi menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab yang bersifat interaktif dari dua arah. Bentuk transfer ilmu ini tidak hanya sosialisasi namun juga praktik. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan ini adalah berupa pemahaman mitra dalam upaya eksplorasi dan konservasi botani melalui pengenalan koleksi botani yang bernilai ekonomi.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the morphology of Simplicillium sp. which can be used as a teaching media in the identification of pathogenic fungi, useful in practical technology for the propagation of biological agents. The research was carried out in the microbiology laboratory at Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang, June – August 2023. This type of research is qualitative which aims to determine the morphological characteristics of the fungus Simplicillium lanosoniveum CG888 from the collection of the Faculty of Agriculture UNWAHA as a data source. Data collection methods include observations carried out macroscopically and microscopically, and documentation. Data obtained from observations are compared with existing literature in books and supporting literature to identify the data. The results showed that the colonies of the fungus S. lanosoniveum were white on the upper surface, and yellowish on the bottom. The growth of the colony forms a circle, the edges are white with the growth of new hyphae. The texture of the colony is like wavy cotton with thick mycelia. This fungus has hyaline and septate hyphae. They are branched and tend to be arranged regularly, tapering towards the tip, and have phialids. Phialids produce conidia attached to their tips. Conidia are transparent, small and round in shape. Simplicillium lanosoniveum CG888 has chitinase enzyme activity in it. It is hoped that this teaching media can help students to increase their knowledge of the identification and propagation of fungi which act as biological agents. KEYWORDS: identification, Instructuinal media, Simplicillium lanosoniveum CG888, chitinase enzym   ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui morfologi Simplicillium sp. yang dapat dijadikan sebagai media ajar dalam identifikasi cendawan patogenik berguna pada praktikum Teknologi perbanyakan agens hayati. Penelitian dilaksanakan di laboratorium mikrobiologi Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang, bulan Juni – Agustus 2023. Jenis penelitian bersifat kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik morfologi cendawan Simplicillium lanosoniveum koleksi Fakultas Pertanian Unwaha sebagai sumber data. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi yang dilakukan secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan dibandingkan dengan literatur yang ada pada buku dan penunjang pustaka untuk mengidentifikasi data tersebut. Hasil penelitian diperoleh koloni cendawan S. lanosoniveum pada permukaan atas berwarna putih, dan di bawah kekuning – kuningan. Pertumbuhan koloni membentuk bulatan, bagian pinggir berwarna putih dengan adanya pertumbuhan hifa baru. Tekstur koloni seperti kapas bergelombang dengan miselia yang tebal. Cendawan tersebut mempunyai hifa hyalin dan bersepta. Hifa bercabang dengan letak cenderung teratur, dengan meruncing ke ujung, dan terdapat phialid. Phialid menghasilkan konidium yang menempel diujungnya. Konidia transparan, berukuran kecil dan berbentuk bulat. Simplicillium lanosoniveum CG888 terdapat aktivitas enzim kitinase di dalamnya. Diharapkan media ajar tersebut dapat membantu mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan pengetahuannya terhadap identifikasi dan perbanyakan cendawan yang berperan sebagai agens hayati. Abstract

ABSTRACT Abstract: This STEM approach is an approach that refers to the four components of science, namely knowledge, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This STEM later in research will be reviewed and modified into biology subjects. The purpose of this research is to analyze the application of the STEM approach to biology learning. This research uses the study literature method which has a concept with data collection and data sources used are secondary data, which come from journals and scientific papers totaling at least 20 sources (journals/articles). The results that the researchers found were that the STEM approach to biology learning could be integrated with various learning models and appropriate materials and could improve student learning outcomes, students' critical thinking skills, students' scientific literacy, students' creativity, students' ability to think scientifically. ABSTRAK Abstrak: Pendekatan STEM ini adalah pendekatan yang merujuk kepada empat komponen ilmu pengetahuan, yaitu pengetahuan, teknologi, teknik, dan matematika. STEM ini nantinya pada penelitan yan akan di kaji dimodifikasikan ke dalam mata pelajaran biologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penerapan pendekatan STEM pada pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode study literature yang mempunyai konsep dengan pengumpulan data dan sumber-sumber data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder, yang berasal dari jurnal dan karya tulis ilmiah yang berjumlah minimal 20 sumber (jurnal/artikel). Adapun hasil yang peneliti temukan adalah pendekatan STEM pada pembelajaran biologi dapat diintegrasikan dengan berbagai model pembelajaran dan materi yang sesuai serta dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, literasi sains siswa, kreativitas siswa, kemampuan berpikir ilmiah. Abstract

ABSTRACT The Discovery Learning model is a model that guides students to identify what they want to know by searching for information themselves, then finding concepts from what is known and understood. The scientific approach is a learning process that is equated with a scientific process because it includes stages, especially in the core activities, namely observing, asking questions, gathering information or experimenting, associating or processing information, and communicating. Learning Outcomes are the numbers obtained by students who have succeeded in completing subject concepts according to the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set, namely 75 according to the applicable curriculum. The purpose of this study was to describe student learning outcomes by applying the discovery learning model with a scientific approach. Keywords: Discovery Learning, Scientific Approach, Learning Outcomes ABSTRAK Model Discovery Learning adalah model yang menuntun siswa untuk mengidentifikasi apa yang ingin diketahui dengan mencari informasi sendiri, kemudian menemukan konsep dari apa yang diketahui dan dipahami. Pendekatan Scientific adalah proses pembelajaran yang disamakan dengan suatu proses ilmiah karena didalamnya terdapat tahapan-tahapan terutama dalam kegiatan inti yaitu Mengamati, Menanya, Mengumpulkan Informasi atau Eksperimen, Mengasosiasikan atau Mengolah Informasi, dan Mengkomunikasikan. Hasil Belajar adalah angka yang diperoleh siswa yang telah berhasil menuntaskan konsep-konsep mata pelajaran sesuai dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan yaitu 75 sesuai dengan kurikulum yang berlaku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan scientific approach.
