Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of advertising and celebrity endorser of the brand image in increasing buying interest shampoo pentene in Pekanbaru community. The sample in this study were obtained using a non-probability sampling that respondents who meet the criteria of population where these samples do not have the same opportunities to choose from, with the sample criteria are respondents who use Pantene shampoo products and pernha see the ad. By using the formula according to Rao Purba, obtained a total sample of 96 people. Methods of data analysis using path analysis with SPSS 21. The results showed that the variables of advertising, celebrity endorser positive and significant impact on the image of Pantene shampoo brand in Pekanbaru. Then the ad variables celebrity endorser brand image positive and significant impact on buying interest Pantene shampoo in Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the analysis showed that the path celebrity endorser advertising variables affect the buying interest with the brand's image as a mediating variable in Pantene Shampoo advertising in Pekanbaru. It is expected that the company can continue to increase the rent, the company must continue to create new versions of the ads, giving rise to a new interest because of television viewers are getting bored with the same ad. Companies can add new endorser to reach other market segments without replacing graceful as a major endorser is already very credible.Keywords: Advertising, Celebrity Endorser, Brand And Interests Buy

Abstract

This research held in Ramayana Department Store Panam Square in Pekanbaru City. Pekanbaru is a city that has a high consumption patterns, especially in fashion. This can be seen with the establishment of many department stores in Pekanbaru. One of them is Ramayana Department Store Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to know strategy Ramayana Department Store Panam Square Pekanbaru and know the effort Ramayana Department Store Panam Square Pekanbaru in improving competitive advantage. Variables used are internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) of the company and external factors (opportunities and threats) of the company. The population in this research is visitors Ramayana Department Store and Ramayana Department Store Manager. This research is a qualitative reasearch using qualitative descriptive method using collection techniques such as questionnaires, observations, documentations and interviews. This research used SWOT analysis. The results showed that the Ramayana Department Store Panam Square Pekanbaru has SO highest scores so that strategies can be used are as follows; expand market share, product development, product diversification and cooperation with various parties. Based on the Cartesius diagram, Ramayana Department Store Panam Square Pekanbaru is the position of Growth. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of Factors Influencing High School Students Interest and Decision in Rokan Hilir in Choosing Studies Program in Higher Education. This study used 99 samples. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis method is by means of a variable test, regression test, and final analysis test track or path analysis. From the results of the testing that has been done, there is a significant effect of both partially and simultaneously between economic status, course of study, situational, psychological state of the interest rate of high school students Rokan Hilir in courses at Universities and the psychic state of the factors is the most influential factor significantly to the high school level students decision Rokan Hilir in choosing a course of study at university.Keywords: Economic status, course of study, situational, psychological state, interests of students, student decision

Abstract

This research is conducted to analyze the influence of Brand Image and Product design toward Purchase Decision and Repurchase Intention on customers of product futsal shoes brand Specs at Pekanbaru City . There are four latent variables in this research such as Brand Image (X1), Product Design (X1), Purchase Decision (Y1) and Repurchase Intention (Y2). The population of this study are all customers of product futsal shoes brand Specs at Pekanbaru City with a sample of 152 respondents were selected using accidental sampling method with criteria every player whose wear Specs futsal shoes at the fields. Data in this study are taken by giving them structural questionaires. Meanwhile, Path Analysis method are chosen for data analysis by SPSS version 21. The result of this research shows that Brand Image affect significantly towards Purchase Decision so the higher Brand Image is applied, the higher of Purchase Decision of Specs customers at Pekanbaru City, Product Design affect significantly towards Purchase Decision so the higher the Product Design then the higher Purchase Decision on Specs customers at Pekanbaru City, Brand Image affect significantly towards Repurchase Intention on Specs customers at Pekanbaru City. Product Design affect significantly towards Repurchase Intention on Specs Customers at Pekanbaru City. Purchase Decision proved to affect Repurchase Intention on Specs Customers at Pekanbaru City. Brand Image and Product Design affect significantly towards Repurchase Intention through Purchase Decision on Specs Customers at Pekanbaru City. Researchers suggest that Specs Company to keep and even improve the quality, realize the consumer desire and other factors that increase Purchase Decision dan Repurchase Intention customer.Keyword : Brand Image, Product Design, Purchase Decision, and Repurchase Intention

Abstract

This study aims to look at consumer attitudes on advertising creativity, attraction advertising and quality of the advertising message on Sony Xperia Z in Pekanbaru city. The population in this study are the people who use and watch Sony Xperia Z’s ad in Pekanbaru city. While the sample in this study using purposive sampling method with criteria people who live in Pekanbaru city with the age of 15-30 years who using and watching Sony Xperia Z’s ad. The data obtained will be processed by Fishbein analysis. After the test, the results is consumer attitudes toward advertising creativity is very good, this is evidenced by the performance of advertising creativity has reached what is perceived by the respondents. Consumer attitudes toward attraction advertising is very good, this is evidenced by the performance of the attraction of advertising has reached what is perceived by the respondents. And consumer attitudes toward quality of the advertising message is also very good, this is evidenced by the performance of quality of the advertising message has reached from what is perceived by the respondents.Keywords: advertising creativity, attractiveness and quality of advertising message.

Abstract

This article discusses the extension of the pro duct integration rules which is a modification of the generalized Euler-Maclaurin summation formula using a partition of the trap ezoidal metho d. Analytically, it is showed that this metho d has an error of O(1/n 2). Furthermore, computational results show that the method is superior to the comparison methods by looking into the error value obtained.

Abstract

This article discusses the solution of nonhomogeneous linear partial differential equa-tions of first order and homogeneous nonlinear partial differential equations of second order using Adomian decomposition method. The obtained solution is of the form series. In the series solution of nonhomogeneous linear partial differential equations of the first order appears noise terms phenomenon, which is the same terms but with opposite sign, so that the solution obtained is a finite series.

Abstract

We discuss a family of iterative methods derived by giving a weight function recur-sively to the corrector of Newton’s method, which is a review of article of Herceg and Herceg publised on [Applied Mathematics and Computation, 87 (2010), 2533–2541]. Weighting with a specific index produces Super-Halley’s method. Analytically it is shown that the order of the convergence of the method is three. Furthermore, this iteration method requires four function evaluations per iteration, so its efficiency index is 1.316. Then, computational tests show that the discussed method is better than Newton’s method, and does not have significant differences with Super Halley’s method in terms of error produced.

Abstract

We discuss the modification of Newton’s method, which is a Predictor and Corrector method, to solve a nonlinear equation. Using a series based on the equation √ error of the method, we show that the order of convergence of the method is 1 + 2 and for each iteration, it requires two function evaluations, so the efficiency index of the method is 2.4142. To see the advantages of the proposed method, we compare the method with some known iterative methods using four test functions by varying an initial guess.

Abstract

This article discusses the analysis of the global convergence of Chebyshev method through the geometric interpretation of how to derive its formula using the parabolic equation. The results of the analysis are posed in the theorems, which state hypotheses criteria when the Chebyshev method converges globally for any initial guess at some intervals. For comparison, the hypotheses criteria when the Euler method and Halley iteration convergen globally are also discussed. In comparing these methods through the computations, we look into the fulfillment of the hypotheses criteria of the theorems for each method and the number of iterations required to obtain the estimated roots.
