Abstract

The research was conducted in Panglima Raja Village ConcongSubdistrict Indragiri Hilir Regency of Riau Province. It was aimed to identify oflocal wisdom had been done in society of Panglima Raja Village. The researchwas done by case study or grounded research method.The result of research that there are local wisdom in exploiting andconserve coastal zone resources in Panglima Raja Village. Local wisdom thatidentified in exploiting of coastal zone resources in Panglima Raja are 1) decidedthe timing, weather, season in doing fishing 2) to develop traditional fishing gearin catch and collect the shell 3) decide the cutting zone the mangrove and thenlocal wisdom to conserve there are 1) the ceremony to honor the sea 2)commitment not to catch and kill the dolphin 3) believe there are secret zone 4)commitment not to throw the rubbish into the sea 5) commitment not to use ofsongko mesin in collecting the shell 6) guard the mangrove in coastal zone.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through of The Implementation of Quick On The Draw Activity In STAD Type Cooperative Learning. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIII.6 in the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year with the subject of as many as 34 students, consist of 13 boys and 21 girls. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan, Worksheet and Questions Card. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test 2. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic score, daily test 1 and daily test 2 are respectively 8 person (23,52%), 13 person (38,23%) and 19 person (55,88%). Results of this research indicates that application of the Quick on the Draw Aktivity in Cooperative Learning of STAD can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class VIII.6 MTsN Ujung Tanjung in the first semester academic years 2016/2017 at Basic Competencies 1.3 understanding the concept of relation and functions , 1.4  determining the value of the function and 1.5 sketching graphs simple algebra functions on the coordinate system.

Abstract

Penelidikan ini bertujuan mengkaji penggunaan pengajaran dan pembelajaran matematikmelalui soalan berayat berbentuk kontekstual dalam matematik di sekolah rendah. Penyelidikan mengkajiimpak daripada penggunaan pengajaran dan pembelajaran matematik melalui soalan berayat berbentukkontekstual, iaitu: (1) pencapaian matematik pelajar, (2) perbezaan sikap pelajar terhadap matematiksebelum dan setelah pengajaran dan pembelajaran matematik melalui soalan berayat berbentukkontekstual, dan (3) perbezaan motivasi pencapaian pelajar terhadap matematik sebelum dan setelahpengajaran dan pembelajaran matematik melalui soalan berayat berbentuk kontekstual. Kaedah kajianyang digunakan ialah penyelidikan tindakan yang dilakukan sebanyak tiga pusingan. Penyelidikan tindakandilakukan secara kolaboratif antara penyelidik dan seorang guru matematik, serta subjek pelajar sebanyak21 orang pelajar tahun V (umur 10-11 tahun) di sebuah sekolah rendah di Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia.Kaedah pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemerhatian, ujian pra dan pos pencapaian matematik,dan soal selidik untuk mengukur: motivasi pencapaian dan sikap pelajar terhadap matematik. Hasilpenyelidikan menunjukkan bahawa pembelajaran matematik melalui soalan berayat berbentukkontekstual dapat mewujudkan peningkatan pencapaian matematik pelajar, motivasi pencapaian pelajar,sikap pelajar terhadap matematik.

Abstract

The Research on the management of protected areas Danau pulau Besarand Danau Bawah Zamrud Siak Regency Riau Province was conducted in Januaryto December 2010. Aimed of this reseach was to created model of a sustainablemanagement of Pulau Besar lake and Bawah lake of Zamrud. The results showedthat sustainable management of the lake can be done with a variety of scenariosand policies. Scenarios and policies through the reduction of sedimentconcentration by 50% and a reduction gear by 5% every year. The result alsoincrease in CPUE of 12.1%, and the catch fisherman increased by an average78.02 kg per year and increased revenues percapita of Rp.1.123.569 per year, thecatch and optimal revenue occurred in 2016.Keywords : Sediment, CPUE, Effort, Optimal Revenue

Abstract

We discuss the modification of Newton’s method, which is a Predictor and Corrector method, to solve a nonlinear equation. Using a series based on the equation √ error of the method, we show that the order of convergence of the method is 1 + 2 and for each iteration, it requires two function evaluations, so the efficiency index of the method is 2.4142. To see the advantages of the proposed method, we compare the method with some known iterative methods using four test functions by varying an initial guess.

Abstract

The type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The research was conducted in studentof grade VII3 SMP N 32 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year with the subject of as many as 41 students. The research instrument are consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research are consists of the Syllabus, Lesson plan and Student work sheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is consists of the observation sheet and math test. Technique of data analysis is analysis of narrative descriptive and analysis of statistical descriptive. Based on the result of the research show that, the learning process has improved and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes have improved after applying the Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. The Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach can be used as an alternative in learning, because it can improve the learning process and improve the students learning outcomes.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Think Pair Square Approach, learning process, students

Abstract

This artikel aimed to explain and analysis about model of communication fisheriesdevelopment in Duano Community in Riau Province, the advantage of this paperis to give information about how to compile the policy of fisheries development inRiau Province. The analysis model of communication fisheries development isneeded to implementation for the prosperity of fisherman. The Develop of ruralcommunity specially fishermen society needed by the integrity principal andpartisipative approach. this Partisipative approach through effort move grouporganization structures most elementary at the same time with its participation todevelop of them and theirs environment. Abstract

  Absract: This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathematics at SMP Negeri 14 Pekanbaru by applying the model of Cooperative Learning Numbered Head Techniques. Subjects were class VII4 students who have academic ability is heterogeneous. This research is a class action research by two cycles. Each cycle has four phases, they were planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Research instrument which consists of learning tools, which are Syllabus, Learning Implementation Plans, Student Worksheet and Number Head Questions. The data analysis technique utilized comsist of descriptive data analysis technique which is divided into qualitative and quantitative data analysis technique. The result from this research shows the activity of the teacher and student had performed well after has been made. An increase in the number of students who received grades of 20 and 30 as many as 17 students on first cycle and 23 students on second cycle. That is also an increase in the number of students who achieve at KKM end of UH each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve a score of KKM on the base. Starting from 35.71% increase to 60.71% and increased to 68.14%. The development of the results of this research indicate that the application of the Cooperative Learning Numbered Heads Techniques can improve the learning process and improve learning results class VII4 junior high school math class students Negeri 14 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2013/2014. Abstract

Abstract: This research based on the student’s mathematics achievement in class IX7 of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru, there are 12 of 32 students who achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria or 37,5% for similarity lesson. This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics achievement by applying the model of Cooperative Learning Numbered Head Techniques. The subject of this research were the students in class IX7 SMPN 8 Pekanbaru, there are 32 students with heterogeneous level of academic capabilities. This research is a class action research by two cycles. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative, while the student’s mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative. The qualitative descriptive showed that there is the improvement of learning process after the action on the first and second cycles. The result showed that there is an increase in student’s achievement from the basic score with the percentage 37,5% to 56,25% on the first test and 78,1% on the second test. Based on the result of this research, can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Numbered Head Techniques can improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics achievement class IX7 of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru by the academic years 2014/2015.
