Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the strategies that Kindergartens (TK) can use during a pandemic so that activities can run optimally. This research describes things that Kindergarten can do, such as learning activities, collaboration with parents, methods and strategies that use descriptive qualitative research methods. A qualitative approach is a research process to understand social or human problems by analyzing words to create complex and comprehensive, and reporting information obtained from sources in the natural environment. This approach also aims to find, discover, describe, and explain the quality or features of social influence that cannot be explained, measured, or described quantitatively. Based on the research, the strategies applied in schools are: (1) aspects of physical-motor development, especially for fine motor development, in the form of paper for drawing, announcing, matching, cutting, stamping, pasting, collage, maze, forming using playdough whose recipe has been written. teachers for parents, (2) Aspects of cognitive development to develop the ability to think logically, think symbolically, and solve problems. (3) Aspects of religious and moral values, in the form of appeals to parents so that children are accustomed to worship under the guidance of parents, reading Iqro ', memorizing and reciting daily prayers, short letters and Asmaul Husna. (4) Social-emotional aspects, so that children have self-awareness, responsibility to themselves and others, and are accustomed to having pro-social behavior.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah education is a learning system in fostering and developing human personality through science and Islam as well as Muhammadiyah organizations. The purpose of this study was to determine the cadre activities of Muhammadiyah students during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the framework of preparing competent cadres as successors to the Muhammadiyah syarikat which was carried out by the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) Tulangan sub-district. Through the Muhammadiyah Student Dai Training (PDPM) during the Covid-19 pandemic, many cadres from villages in the Tulangan sub-district participated in this PDPM. This study uses a qualitative description. The results of the analysis of the PDPM activities carried out by the IPM in Tulangan sub-district were successfully carried out. However, there were shortcomings in this activity, namely: 1) Time efficiency, 2) Participants decreased, 3) It was difficult to contact the participants.

Abstract

Education has a urgent role in the development of a nation, including the Indonesian nation. Learning strategy is a plan, method and set of activities that are planned to achieve learning objectives. SD Muhammadiyah 1 Waru has good learning and technological facilities that support it. However, during the COVID- 19 pandemic, there has been a change in learning strategies in the teaching and learning process. Muhammadiyah 1 Waru Elementary School during the COVID- 19 pandemic uses online and offline learning strategies. So that teachers are required to be more creative and able to use technology well. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. . The technique of collecting data in this research is through interviews, documentation, and observation, while the triangulation used in this study is technical triangulation. From the results of the research that I made in this regard, it can be concluded that SD Muhammadiyah 1 Waru uses online and offline learning strategies. The online system is used for low grades, namely 1, 2, 3 and 4. The offline system is used for high grades, namely grades 5 and 6.

Abstract

This research is motivated because there are some students who experience a decrease in discipline during online learning, both in participating in online learning, collecting homework, and other things. This study aims to determine the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the habituation of the discipline character of students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive analytycs approach, where the research is carried out in stages starting with determining the topic, collecting data, analyzing data. Information was collected by interviewing teachers and principals of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo on matters relevant to the research. The results showed that learning with an online system during the pandemic was considered to have a relatively sufficient impact on student discipline habituation with the existence of systematic activities from teachers, namely program planning, monitoring, and evaluation. This systematic activity was carried out to improve a good personality and to cultivate disciplined character for students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the history of the bilingual class and the application of bilingual class learning at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gempol. The research process uses data collection methods with interviews and observations. The subject of this research is the Principal of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gempol. The focus in this research is how the history or the beginning of the bilingual class and how the implementation of bilingual class learning. Based on the results of the research, the bilingual class at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gempol is a class that uses 2 languages in its delivery, namely Indonesian and English which were initiated by the principal at the SD and as a different brand than other schools in the Gempol area. The application of bilingual classroom learning uses 3 additional lessons using books with Cambridge Curriculum Singapore. Read, write, and count selections are made for students who will enter the bilingual class. There is a change in the requirements for bilingual classes that are carried out so that their implementation can be carried out properly.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the application of online learning during the Pandemic. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted by students majoring in English Education, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo at elementary, junior high, and high school in their respective regions. The COVID-19 pandemic has made changes to various aspects of human life today, especially in the world of education. In the current pandemic era, education in Indonesia is one of the most affected. Online learning has become the most effective solution for learning in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic to continue to provide the best service to students. The online education system is not easy. In addition to the personal discipline of self-study, there are facilities and resources that must be provided and paid attention to. In this study, it is hoped that it can be an evaluation for various schools and campuses to further improve the online learning system to be better and more effective.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the regulation of the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding the implementation of education during Covid-19 pandemic which requires the implementation of distance learning using online learning media. The purpose of this study was to find out the history of school formation, differences in learning before and after pandemic, challenges faced and learninf strategies implemented by SD 8 Muhammadiyah Tulangan during Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is qualitative with the observation, interview, question and answer. The results of thsi study can be concluded that SD 8 Muhammadiyah has a combination of learning strategies between face to face learning and online learning or what is commonly referred to blended learning method. The blended learning methods that is implemented in SD 8 Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo are conducting learning activities through zoom application for better material delivery and conducting study visits to students’ homes directly to share opinions and views between teacher, parents, and students as well as to find out advantages and disadvantages of online learning so far.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning strategies at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Gempol during the Covid-19 pandemic that were applied by the teachers. In the research process this time using descriptive qualitative research methods. A qualitative approach is a research process to understand social or human problems by analyzing words to create a complex and comprehensive picture, and reporting detailed views of information obtained from sources of information in a natural environment. This study aims to reveal and conclude how the learning strategies are carried out by teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Gempol in this Covid-19 era. Which during this pandemic period, the learning process is carried out in two ways, namely online and offline. Among the strategies adopted by teachers in dealing with learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is that teachers must pay more attention to their pedagogical competencies when teaching students, then optimize them in teaching students who have difficulty learning in the midst of this pandemic. Also the teachers apply in some ways or strategies about learning from home in a better and creative way.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the learning strategies implemented by the Muhammadiyah 6 Krian Junior High School in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic and the obstacles in the application process. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method in which data was obtained by interview. documentation and observation around the school environment. During the Covid 19 pandemic, the government issued an online learning policy. Muhammadiyah 6 Krian Junior High School implements a learning strategy, namely learning online and offline. Teachers often face various kinds of obstacles when learning online. For that, the application of offline learning is also applied to optimize student learning.
