Abstract

The use of the right tools greatly determines the success of achieving the competence of students in learning. Learning tools that tend to be monotonous make students less actively involved in learning and less improve scientific attitudes and learning outcomes. The development of Chemistry learning tools based on a scientific approach in NHT model is expected to be effective in the classroom and help students in learning Chemistry. This development research aims to: 1) describe the development process of producing cooperative learning tools of NHT type based on a scientific approach; and 2) produce cooperative learning tools of NHT type based on scientific approaches that are valid, practical, and effective to improve scientific attitudes and learning outcomes on Acid-Base learning material. This research consists of the stages of defining (define), design, development, and dissemination (disseminate). The product developed was tested on students of class XI MIPA.3 at SMAN 8 Gowa of academic year 2019/2020. The product validity was tested by two expert assessors. This research includes the steps of the NHT model, namely preparation, group formation, problem discussion, calling the Member Number or Giving Answers, giving conclusions, and giving awards. The stages of this chemistry learning tool also refer to the scientific attitude approach that applies 5M, namely observing, asking, trying, associating/processing information/logic,and communicating to improve scientific attitudes and learning outcomes of students. The results of the study obtained: 1) the average value of product validity 3.76 (very valid); 2) scientific attitude questionnaire data = 3.07 (high); 3) THB's average N-Gain result is 0.83 (high); 4) teachers and students showed a very positive response with a percentage of 95.84% and 82.81%. Therefore, the conclusion of the study is the Chemistry learning tools based on the scientific approach in NHT model that had been developed in Chemistry learning on Acid-Base learning materials are valid, practical, and effective to improve the scientific attitude and learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

This study is a research and development that aims to develop electronic modules using Flip PDF Professional on colloid material to improve students' creative thinking skills that are valid, practical, and effective to be used. The development model used refers to the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The electronic module developed using Flip PDF Professional software had been validated by material expert and media expert and had gone through a trial phase to produce a valid, practical, and effective Colloid Chemistry electronic module. The Colloid Chemistry E-module product made with Flip PDF Professional is attractively designed because it contains colloid learning video and animation, and is practical in its use because students can easily access it on their respective androids without having to use additional applications. The subjects in this study were students of grade XI MIPA 3 at UPT SMAN 2 Parepare City. The results show that the Colloid Chemistry electronic module developed using Flip PDF Professional software obtained 88.5% validity by material expert and 86.12% validity percentage by media expert, so the validator criteria for the electronic module obtained as valid. The Colloid Chemistry electronic module developed using Flip PDF Professional software is stated to be practical because the practicality test obtained an average of 3.625 with practical criteria from the results of teacher’s responses and an average of 3.772 from students’ responses with practical criteria. The electronic product of the Colloidal Chemistry module also meets the effectiveness criteria based on the test result of students' creative thinking skills after using the developed colloid chemistry module, where students' creative thinking skills are dominated at level 3, namely creative.

Abstract

Kajian ini mengaplikasikan model rantai Markov pada data kecepatan angin harian yang dikumpulan oleh stasiun Badan Meteorologi dan Geofisika kabupaten Majene dari tahun 1982 sampai dengan tahun 2005. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik kategori kecepatan angin dengan menghitung peluang steady state, nilai harapan masa tinggal dan nilai harapan masa perulangan pertama. Pengkategorian kecepatan angin dibuat berdasarkan skala Beaufort, yaitu dari skala 0 sampai dengan skala 9. Nilai peluang steady state menunjukkan bahwa kategori angin dengan hembusan lembut mempunyai peluang kemunculan yang terbesar, yaitu sekitar 43,33%, dan kategori angin tenang mempunyai peluang kemunculan yang paling kecil, yaitu sekitar 0,02%. Sementara dari nilai harapan masa tinggal dan nilai harapan masa perulangan pertama menunjukkan bahwa kategori kecepatan angin dengan hembusan lembut mempunyai durasi kejadian terlama, yaitu sekitar 2 hari, dan mempunyai durasi paling singkat untuk terjadi kembali setelah terjadi pada kejadian sebelumnya, yaitu sekitar 2,3 hari.

Abstract

Kegiatan KKN-PPM dilaksanakan di tiga dusun yang ada di Desa Mallongi-longi, Kabupaten Pinrang. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah: a) Mengoptimalkan diversifikasi dengan pengelohan hasil perkebunan dan pertanian menjadi berbagai produk jadi; b) Mengolah hasil tani/kebun menjadi berbagai produk yang bernilai ekonomis; c) Dapat membuat kemasan dan pemasaran produk hasil pertanian/perkebunan;d) Pembentukan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam UMKM e) Menciptakan masyarakat bebas putus sekolah, buta huruf, buta baca Qur’an dan buta aksara di wilayah KKN-PPM; f) Meningkatkan Kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan bagi anak, guru dan orang tua di lingkungan sekolah dan rumah; dan g) Mengoptimalkan peranan masyarakat dalam bidang pendidikan dan kesehatan. Permasalahan mitra adalah: a) Hasil pertanian/perkebuanan dijual dengan hasil yang sangat murah; b) Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat dalam mengolah hasil pertanian/perkebunan menjadi produk jadi bernilai ekonomis; c) Belum maksimalnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang UMKM; d) Banyaknya anak usia 6 s/d 12 tahun putus sekolah dan yang tidak bersekolah; e) Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya kesehatan; f) rendahnya pendidikan non-formal;   g) Rendahnya motivasi anak-anak dan orang tua tentang pentingnya pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan penyuluhan, memberikan pelatihan olah hasil perkebunan menjadi produk jadi bernilai ekonomis seperti keripik terong, baruasa, manisan, dll., Tudang Sipulung, pendidikan dan pengajaran non-formal kepada anak putus sekolah selama pelaksanaan kegiatan, pendampingan pembentukan UMKM dan penyuluhan dan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya kesehatan dengan menciptakan lingkungan rumah dan sekolah yang bersih. Luaran yang diharapkan adalah: 1) Meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam membuat berbagai produk jadi hasil perkebunan, 2) Meningkatkan kesadaran, wawasan, motivasi, kemampuan, keterampilan dan perilaku anak-anak putus sekolah dan siswa, 3) Menciptakan masyarakat bebas buta huruf dan aksara serta bebas anak-anak putus sekolah 4) Meningkatkan Kualitas pendidikan Dasar dengan pembimbingan, pembelajaran tambahan, Cerdas Cermat dan pengajaran baca Qur’an,  5) Perbaikan sistem pada kelompok petani/pekebun dengan UMKM; 6) Publikasi ilmiah, teknologi tepat guna dan produk olahan hasil pertanian/perkebunan seperti Barongko dan Nugget Terong. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v3i1.2252

Abstract

Abstract. Shallot is an abundant type of plant in Enrekang Regency. The availability of human resources in active community groups can be fostered. The lack of equipment and technology in making processed shallots that have high selling points and being able to compete with products that already exist in other areas is a major problem. The solutions offered: (1) training and mentoring to process shallots into durable products of high economic value, (2) training and packaging guidance so that they are attractive, (3) Product marketing strategies. The aim to be achieved is to increase the income of partner groups which will lead to an increase in the welfare of the community and local revenue. The specific target to be achieved is long-lasting crispy fried shallots with high economic value, various attractive packaging. The method used is (1) desk study stage; to focus problems and activities to be carried out including conducting intensive discussions with partners. (2) Training and demonstration with simple technology, (3) Program Monitoring and Evaluation, (4) Reflection of program implementation to see all the advantages and disadvantages of the program and its implementation, (5) Strengthening and improving program which is still lacking. The results of the activity showed that the community and business / farmer groups easily absorbed the simple technology in processing fried shallots but the community's interest in developing businesses into household scale industries was still lacking.

Abstract

The need for the availability of Student Activity Sheets (LKPD) in planning an effective learning process is veryimportant. Therefore, the aim of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) activities is to increase teachers' understanding ofthe principles of LKPD based on investigation, the technical steps for preparing the LKPD based on investigation, understand thecomponents contained in the LKPD based on investigation, and be skilled in preparing and producing the LKPD based oninvestigation. The method used is the presentation of material on the principles and preparation of the LKPD based oninvestigation by the team, practices of the LKPD based on investigation by teachers, presentation of LKPD products / results by ateacher, and observation and interviews of participant before and after the implementation of PKM activities. Participants in thisactivity were 16 teachers from the Public Elementary School (SDN) of Parangtambung II Makassar. The results of these PKMactivities are (1) trainees understand the principles of the LKPD based on investigation, understand the technical steps forpreparing the LKPD based on investigation, understand the components that must be contained in the LKPD based oninvestigation, be skilled in preparing and producing the LKPD based on investigation, and (2) the participants were veryenthusiastic and responded positively to this PKM activity.

Abstract

This Community Partnership Program (PKM) conducted at Bunga Asya Kindergarten in Makassar. The purposes of this activity are to increase a) knowledge and skills of parents and teachers of kindergarten (partners) on the importance of hygiene and health; b) partners' understanding on organic and inorganic waste in schools; and c) partners' knowledge and skills in understanding and utilizing organic waste. The identified problems are a) insufficient knowledge and skills about hygiene and health; b) insufficient knowledge and skills regarding organic and inorganic waste; and c) insufficient knowledge and skills in utilizing organic and inorganic waste. The methods used is this program are training, mentoring, and discussion between team and partners. This program involved 30 participants which then evaluation and monitoring are carried out periodically for 3 months. The results of this program showed that 1) skills and knowledge of the partners are improved; 2) partner groups were able to utilize organic and inorganic waste, and 3) publication in mass media or journals with ISSN.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai melalui kegiatan PKM ini adalah guru: memahami tentang prinsip materi ajar berbasis V-Makes, memahami langkah-langkah teknis penyusunan  materi ajar berbasis V-Makes, dan terampil merancang materi ajar berbasis V-Makes, serta menghasilkan produk rancangan materi ajar berbasis V-Makes. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah: pemaparan materi tentang prinsip materi ajar berbasis V-Makes oleh Tim Pengabdi, praktik penyususn materi ajar berbasis V-Makes oleh peserta pelatihan, presentasi produk/hasil rancangan oleh peserta perwakilan, dan observasi serta wawancara peserta saat dan setelah kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) Parangtambung II Kota Makassar yang berjumlah 16 orang dan materi ajar yang dirancang adalah materi tematik terpadu Kurikulum 2013 untuk kelas 4, 5, dan 6. Manfaat yang diharapkan setelah kegiatan PKM ini adalah peserta pelatihan atau workshop mampu  merancang materi atau konsep ajar untuk tingkat sekolah dasar yang dapat divisualisasi secara tekstual atau gambar atau audio-visual (V), memperlihatkan contoh benda secara langsung atau secara makroskopik (Mak), dan melakukan eksperimen sederhana (es). Hasil kegiatan PKM ini adalah (1) peserta pelatihan memahami tentang prinsip materi ajar berbasis V-Makes, (2) peserta pelatihan  memahami langkah-langkah teknis penyusunan materi ajar berbasis V-Makes, (3) peserta pelatihan terampil merancang materi ajar berbasis V-Makes, dan menghasilkan produk rancangan materi ajar berbasis V-Makes. Kata kunci: materi ajar sekolah dasar berbasis V-Makes

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved through IbM activitiesare teacher: understanding of the principles and technical ofClassroom Action Research (CAR), steps of CAR activity,understand the format and components of the CAR proposaland skillfully preparing to conduct and to write CAR proposaland to produce CAR proposal draft. The method used toachieve these objectives are : to present about principles and toconduct CAR, and to write main essential CAR proposal draftby Servant team, practice of CAR conducting and writingCAR proposal draft of worksheet by participants, and topresent of CAR product by participants, and observe andinterviews to participants conducted after and while thisactivity. The activity participants are teachers of StateSecondary School of number 4 Pinrang regency City whichamounts 14 persons. The results obtained after the IbMactivities carried out are (1) The participants (teachers fromSDN of number 4 Pinrang regency) has been understood aboutthe principles and technical of Classroom Action Research(CAR), steps of CAR activity, understand the format andcomponents of the CAR proposal draft and skillfully preparingto conduct and to write CAR proposal, and to produce CARproposal draft and (2) The participants is very enthusiast for tojoin the CAR workshop activity and to give positive responseof the IbM activity.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dilaksanakan di Dusun Paladang kabupaten Pinrang. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk: a) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengolahan hasil perkebunan di Dusun Paladang di Kab Pinrang; b) meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan mitra dalam memahami tentang olahan lain hasil perkebunan; dan c) meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam memahami pengolahan hasil perkebunan. Permasalahan mitra adalah: a) Kurang maksimalnya pengolahan hasil perkebunan di Dusun Paladang di Kab Pinrang; b) Rendahnya pengetahuan     pekebun tentang olahan lain hasil perkebunan; dan c) Rendahnya keterampilan keterampilan pekebun dalam mengolah hasil perkebunan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan, pendampingan, dan diskusi antara pelaksana dengan mitra. Metode ini dilaksanakan kepada kelompok mitra yang berjumlah 15 orang dan selanjutnya evaluasi dan monitoring dilakukan secara berkala selama 2 bulan. Kata Kunci: pengolahan hasil perkebunan, Paladang Kabupaten Pinrang
