Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the entrepreneurial character of PLS FIP UNNES students. The study was designed using a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were PLS students 2016-2018. The sampling technique in this study is the proportional stratified random sampling technique, and the sampling calculation technique uses Isacc and Michel. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive percentages analysis. The results showed the self-introduction of PLS study program students included in the strong category. The entrepreneurial character of PLS Study Program students is in the medium potential category. The learning strategies of entrepreneurship education in PLS study programs are considered effective in providing entrepreneurial skills for students majoring in PLS FIP UNNES.

Abstract

Interest in learning is an important aspect for students in the teaching and learning process. Student learning interest arises influenced by various factors including learning facilities, the school environment and self-regulation. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of learning facilities and the school environment through self-regulation on the learning interests of elementary school students. This research is a correlational study with a cross sectional study approach. There were 138 students taken as sampling from the total population. The instrument used was a questionnaire and data analysis was performed statistically, with multiple regression test. The results showed that learning facilities affect student learning interest. The school environment influences student interest in learning and self-regulation moderates the influence between learning facilities and the school environment on student interest in learning.

Abstract

Javanese poetry (geguritan) learning still does not get maximum attention because there are no (geguritan) books that are integrated with local wisdom values. This research is to integrate Javanese poetry (geguritan) with the value of local wisdom contained in the enrichment book. This study aims to develop an enrichment book for writing Javanese poetry (geguritan) containing the value of local wisdom; produce a valid enrichment book; test the acceptance of the enrichment book and test the effectiveness of learning to write geguritan using the developed enrichment book. This research uses the model of Research and Development (R and D)The results showed that The results showed that enrichment book was valid with a score of 3.10was valid with a score of 3.10; the acceptance test of this enrichment book is 77.56% and the learning effectiveness test using this enrichment book is effective with an average value of 87.63. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the geguritan writing enrichment book is effective to be applied in elementary schools and is able to improve the quality of learning

Abstract

Penulisan karya ilmiah dalam menunjang pendidik khususnya nonformal dalam tupoksi dan untuk proses kenaikan pangkat dengan melakukan penulisan karya ilmiah. Penddik adalah adalah guru profesional dengan tugas utama mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai, dan mengevaluasi peserta didik pada pendidikan anak usia dini jalur pendidikan formal, pendidikan dasar dan pendidikan menengah. Dengan demikian  seorang pendidk harus mampu melaksanakan tugasnya secara profesional.  Pengabdian ini dimulai dengan menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak-pihak yang terkait. Dimulai kerjasama dengan stake holder terkait, diantara dengan Kepala UPTD SKB Salatiga, Lembaga PKBM setempat, dan juga menentukan pelatih/ pemateri/ narasumber yang mempunyai kemampuan dalam pembuatan karya tulis. Berkaitan dengan rencana pengabdian ini dimulai dari identifikasi kebutuhan yang disesuaikan dengan permasalahan atau kebutuhan yang ada di lapangan dibantu oleh UPTD SKB Salatiga setempat dengan melakukan pelatihan membuat  karya ilmiah  bagi pendidk nonformal di   Kota Salatiga Semarang. Setelah itu masing-masing memberikan gambaran dan membuat perencanaan, sampai dengan pelaksaan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk peningkatan diri guru-guru berkaitan dengan karta tulis ilmiah.

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan unit terkecil dari masyarakat memiliki fungsi strategis dalam mengembangkan kualitas sumberdaya manusia. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pemahaman dan peranserta anggota PKK dalam meningkatkan pembangunan masyarakat melalui penyuluhan ketahanan keluarga di Kelurahan Ngijo, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang sebagai peningkatan pemberdayaan keluarga. Manfaat pengabdian ini adalah dimilikinya pemahaman dan peranserta anggota PKK dalam meningkatkan ketahanan keluarga yang dapat ditularkan kepada masyarakat sekitarnya sebagai bentuk turut serta dalam pembangunan bangsa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan pendekatan penyuluhan melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi dan curah pendapat. Selain itu, peserta diajak mengisi survei ketahanan keluarga. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian melalui penyuluhan ini bagi peserta yaitu anggota PKK dapat meningkatkan pemahaman ketahanan keluarga sebagai upaya peningkatan pembangunan masyarakat. Sehingga anggota PKK dapat berpartisipasi dengan mensosialisasikan dimensi, variabel, dan indikator dari ketahanan keluarga kepada warga masyarakat sekitarnya. Selain itu anggota PKK juga berupaya meningkatkan kriteria ketahanan keluarganya masing-masing.

Abstract

Self-regulation in elementary school children is very necessary because at this age children often impose their will (desire) by demonstrating the ability to choose, perform and decide something yourself. If the child is familiar with the rules, the child will feel safer, because the child knows which actions are allowed and which are not. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of parental roles on students' interest in learning and to test how much self-regulation moderates the influence of parental roles on students' interest in learning. This study used a quantitative method. The sample in this study were 65 students from the Raden Said cluster in Kajar Village, Dawe District, Kudus Regency. The results of this study are (1) The role of parents towards their children in learning is quite good. The results of statistical tests obtained p-value of 0.020 (<0.05). It can be concluded that the role of parents has an influence on students' interest in learning; and (2) Self-regulation moderates the effect of the role of parents on students' interest in learning as indicated by changes in the r-square value, where in the first test without involving self-regulation, it is obtained 0.482 or 48.2%, while the r-square value in the second test rose to 0.570 or 57%. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the role of parents is quite good by providing support for children, paying attention to school assignments and lessons, providing additional tutoring outside of school, and shown in parental involvement in school activities.

Abstract

A number of schools in Semarang have been trying to implement theKTSP. However, schools still struggle to understand the curriculum. Thegovernment has stated that schools which are ready can implement the KTSP by2007, and those which are not can postpone the implementation until the end of2009/2010. A study of the schools’ readiness to implement the KTSP wasconducted at four schools in Semarang. The research aims at (1) describing theschools’ readiness to implement the KTSP; (2) identifying the needs of theschool to implement the KTSP; (3) finding out the supporting and inhibitingfactors of the KTSP implementation. The readiness to implement the KTSPvaried from one school to another. The varieties include several aspects, suchas: curriculum properties, facilities, finance, environment, principal’sleadership, teachers and staffs’ readiness, and parents and students’ readiness. Itwas also revealed that what were needed by the schools to implement the KTSPwere commitment and financial support from the government and teachers’understanding of the curriculum through training. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kontribusi faktor-faktor: (1) perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, (2) iklim kerja organisasi sekolah, dan (3) motivasi kerja guru terhadap produktivitas kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah survey explanatory, dengan fokus hubungan kausal antar faktor pembentuk produktivitas kerja guru sebagaimana telah diuraikan di atas. Populasi penelitian adalah guru-guru SMP Negeri di Kota Semarang yang tergabung dalam empat MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran), yaitu mata pelajaran: matematika, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, dan ilmu pengetahuan alam. Data dikumpulkan dengan alat pengumpul data kuesioner dari 92 orang guru dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan iklim kerja organisasi sekolah secara simultan dan signifikan berkontribusi terhadap faktor motivasi kerja guru sebagai pembentuk produktivitas kerja sebesar 35%, sisanya dibentuk oleh faktor lain di luar faktor yang diteliti. This study aims to examine the contribution of three different factors, namely, (1) the school principals’ leadership; (2) school organization working climate; and, (3) teachers’ work motivation, to the overall productivity of State Junior High School teachers of Kota Semarang. This study employed explanatory survey method, which focused on the causal relationship amongst the factors that determine teachers’ working productivity. The population in this study is the teachers of the State Junior High Schools of Kota Semarang who are the active members of the Teachers Working Groups (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran, MGMP) of four different subjects, namely Mathematics, Bahasa, English, and Science. The data were gathered through questionnaires given to 92 participating teachers and then analyzed through path analysis approach. The results of this study show that simultaneously both the school principals’ leadership and the working climate of school organization gave a significant contribution to the teachers’ working motivation (35%). The remaining was contributed by different factors uninvestigated in this study.

Abstract

It is important to know the role of the teachers' reaction toward the Certification Program because based on the data we can identify their perception about the program so that we can plan the necessary steps according to the program. This a qualitative research taking as respondents the primay and the secondary teachers joined in the teachers association KKG and MGMP. They were classifiend in 4 categories: (1) those who hah not the 81 degree or still studying to obtain tile degree. (2) those having the S 1 degree with 0-5 year experience. (3) those having the S1 degree with 6-10 year experience. and (4) those who have been certificated. The results showed that they considered the program more as welfare project, . not as aprogram of professional enhancement. Kata Kunci: respon, implementasi kebijakan, dan sertifikasi guruÂ
