Abstract

Dalam menyelesaikan persoalan matematika, terlebih yang mengintegrasikan permasalahan di kehidupan sehari hari diperlukan kemampuan metaliterasi siswa. Metaliterasi merupakan kerangka berpikir yang menyeluruh dan menjadi sumber referensi mandiri yang bersifat luas dibandingkan dengan jenis literasi lainnnya. Kemampuan metaliterasi siswa saat ini dapat dibilang rendah karena masih tergolong baru dan pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya menggunakan Internet of Things dalam pelaksanaannya. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran Research Based Learning dengan pendekatan STEM yang berfokus pada pemecahan masalah dekorasi teselasi wallpaper. Pada permasalahan ini, siswa merepresentasikan model dekorasi wallpaper kedalam bentuk titik dan garis untuk menemukan kombinasi warna yang sesuai. Selanjutnya dengan menggunakan konsep relasi fungsi, siswa dapat menemukan pola pewarnaan dari dekorasi tersebut. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, permasalahan STEM yang diangkat akan dikembangkan framework integrasi RBL-STEM untuk meningkatkan metaliterasi siswa. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berupa sintaks baru yang efektif dalam memecahkan permasalahan teselasi wallpaper dengan model RBL-STEM yang melibatkan relasi fungsi, perangkat pembelajaran RBL-STEM dan potret fase kemampuan metaliterasi siswa

Abstract

The graph $G$ is defined as a pair of sets $(V,E)$ denoted by $G=(V,E)$, where $V$ is a non-empty vertex set and $E$ is an edge set may be empty connecting a pair of vertex. Two vertices $u$ and $v$ in the graph $G$ are said to be adjacent if $u$ and $v$ are endpoints of edge $e=uv$. The degree of a vertex $v$ on the graph $G$ is the number of vertices adjacent to the vertex $v$. In this study, the topic of graphs is vertex coloring will be studied. Coloring of a graph is giving color to the elements in the graph such that each adjacent element must have a different color. Vertex coloring in graph $G$ is assigning color to each vertex on graph $G$ such that the adjecent vertices $u$ and $v$ have different colors. The minimum number of colorings produced to color a vertex in a graph $G$ is called the vertex chromatic number in a graph $G$ denoted by $\chi(G)$.

Abstract

Abstract. Inquiry method is a discovery learning method where the students are given a problem or a unique phenomenon in such away the students can solve the problem. This method is also suitable to reduce the student’s mistake in solving problem of social arithmetic topic. The research subject is VII B students of SMPN 1 Sukowono. The data collection method used in this research is interview, observation, test and documentation. Theresearch observed the activity of the students and the teachers. The result shows that the activity of the students and the teachers are significantly increasing. We can conclude that the inquiry method can reduce the student’s mistake in solving problem of social aritmetic topic. Key Words : Inquiry, student’s mistake, social arithmetic.

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of the implementation of teaching and learning activities at the Extraordinary School is to achieve the learning objectives. One of the procedures to improve the quality of education is implementing School Based Curriculum (SBC) fully. A data collecting method used in this research are interview, observation, documentation and questioner. The data obtained from interview, observation, documentation and questioner will be analyzed by qualitative descriptive techniques. Based on the result, the propernes of SBC implementation for mathematics learning in SMPLB-A and SMPLB-B shows 67,22% with “Good” category and 82% with “Very Good” category, respectively. In general, the implementation of SBC for mathematics learning at SMPLB has been applied properly but there are some modification done by teachers. Key Words: SBC, Implementation

Abstract

Abstract. Cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) is combination methods between cooperative learning and individual learning. In this research, we will implement STAD to reduce can minimalize student’s error in the topic of social arithmetic. The subject of the research is grade VII B students of SMP Negeri Satu Atap Tanggul. The data collection methods used in this research are test, interview, observation and documentation. The result shows that the errors are decreasing; theorem error decrease from 37,85% to 20,71%; data error decrease from 52,14% to 32,14%; technique error decrease from 42,85% to 24,28% and other error decrease from 39,28% to 18,57%. The result also shows that the teaching learning activity using STAD gives a good responses from the teacher and students. Key Words : STAD, student’s error, social arithmetics

Abstract

Abstract. Guided discovery method by contextual teaching is a learning way where students can find a concept with teacher guidence who motivates them to combine the knowledge taken from daily life. Beside that, it can also improve students’ activity and achievement in the teaching learning activity. The subject of the research is students of VII F grade of SMPN 1 Rambipuji. The data collection methods used in this research are documentation, observation, interview and test. The result of research showed that the increasing of students’ activity and achievement. The average percentage on the first cycle was 60,87 % and the second cycle was 72,54%. Whereas, the students’ average score of the last meeting in the first cycle was 74,49 and the second cycle was 81,24. The result also showed a good responses from the teacher and students. The good responses were proved by the increasing of students’ activity and achievement. Beside, there was also an effect on students thought between before and after teaching and learning process.Overall the guided discovery method by contextual teaching can improve students’ activity and achievement. Abstract

Abstract. Quantum Teaching is a concept that describes the new ways to facilitate the learning process. This concept has been widely used in a class to improve the student achievement. Type of this research is a developmental research by using 4-D model, it consists 4 steps namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subject of a research is an equation of straight line for grade VIII A of SMP Negeri 1 Maesan. The data collection methods used in this research are validation, observation, questionnaire, and test. The result of the research are Sillaby, Teaching Plan, Teacher Book, Student Book, Work Sheet, and achievement test. All the learning materials obtained from this research satisfy the effectiveness criteria and the student achievement is 85.18% of student get score bigger than 60. Abstract

Abstrak. Banyak permasalahan di lingkungan kehidupan kita yang dapat dibentuk ke dalam model matematika sehingga dapat dianalisis secara matematik. Salah satu permasalahan itu adalah kejadian endemi, seperti transmisi penyakit malaria. Model matematika transmisi penyakit malaria berbentuk system Persamaan Diferensial Biasa (PDB) non linier orde satu. Dalam tulisan ini akan dibahas efektivitas dan efisiensi metode Runge-Kutta orde delapan yang dibandingkan dengan metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton orde sembilan. Selain itu juga akan dicari sifat-sifat, formula, konvergenitas, dan format pemrograman MATLAB dari metode itu. Efektivitas suatu metode bergantung pada error. Sedangkan efisiensi bergantung pada waktu tempuh suatu metode untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi dan eksperimen. Hasil dari tulisan ini yaitu sifat dan formula metode Runge-Kutta orde delapan, pembuktian konvergensi metode tersebut secara teoritis, dan format pemrograman yang hasilnya digunakan untuk menentukan metode yang paling efektif dan efisien untuk menyelesaikan model transmisi penyakit malaria. Kata kunci : Efektivitas, Efisiensi, Metode Runge-Kutta, Transmisi malaria.

Abstract

Abstrak. Model sistem kekebalan tubuh terhadap infeksi Mycobacterium tuberculosis telah dikembangkan dan dikemas dalam bentuk sistem persamaan diferensial biasa non linier order satu. Model tersebut sangat komplek sehingga memerlukan metode numeric untuk menyelesaikannya. Salah satu metode numerik yang yang efektif adalah metode Runge-Kutta. Penelitian ini akan merumuskan formula metode Runge-Kutta order sembilan, dan menentukan sifat dari metode tersebut sebelum merumuskannya, serta menganalisis konvergensi dan efektivitas dari metode Runge-Kutta order sembilan bila dibandingkan dengan metode Adam Bashforth-Moulton order sembilan. Metode dikatakan efektif dan efisien bila error yang terjadi pada metode dalam menyelesaikan model semakin kecil (menuju nol) dan waktu yang dibutuhkan metode untuk menyelesaikan model matematika semakin sedikit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Runge-Kutta order sembilan lebih efisien dan efektif dibandingkan metode Adam Bashforth-Moulton order sembilan dalam menyelesaikan model sistem kekebalan tubuh terhadap infeksi Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Kata kunci : Metode Runge-Kutta order sembilan, konvergensi, efektivitas, model sistem kekebalan tubuh terhadap infeksi Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Abstract

Abstract.Quantum Teaching is real life learning strategy with relevances social nuances. Quantum Teaching consists of four steps, namely Tumbuhkan (Motivate), Alami (Do), Namai (Symbolize), Demonstrasikan (Demonstrate), Ulangi (Repeat) (TANDUR, for short). The research purpose is to analyze thestudents learningachievement and activities. The research design is Classroom Action Research (CAR). It consists of four stages. Plan, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was done in two cycles. The result shows that the percentage of student learning achievement and activities respectively increase from cycle I to cycle II, namely 75% to83,33% and 70,27 % to 83,55%. It can be concluded that the application of Quantum Teaching with Crosswords puzzle technique can effectively improve studentlearning achievement as well as their activities.
