Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the response of students and the experts to multimedia-based interactive learning media with the approach of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) on wake-up space that has been developed. The method used in this research is 7 stages from 10 stages of development and development method from Borg and Gall which have been modified by sugiyono. The 7 stages are potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, design improvement, product testing and product revision. The instrument of data collection used is questionnaire of student response and material expert validation. Based on data analysis obtained from material experts and media experts stated that interactive multimedia-based learning media with contextual teaching and learning approach (CTL) is feasible to use, and data analysis obtained from students stated that interactive multimedia is very good. This means that interactive multimedia developed by researchers can be used as a learning resource for students of SMP / MTs class VIII

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of students mathematical representation ability through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model and the students mathematical representation ability through the conventional model. The PjBL model is a student-centered, innovative, project-based learning model and positioned teachers as effective facilitators in the contextual learning related to real life situation. This research employed quasi-experimental design. The research applied the posttest only non-equivalent control group design through randomized cluster sampling. The data collection technique used was test. The instrument used to collect the data was the essay test. Data analysis was conducted using independent sample t-test. The result of the data calculation through the Independent-Sample T-Test test obtained the significance level of 0.913 means that the students’ mathematical representation ability was better after the learning through Project Based Learning (PjBL) model was conducted compared to the students mathematical representation ability through a conventional model. This means that the PjBL model is more influential on students mathematical representation ability.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis android berdasarkan kelayakan dari penilaian Ahli media dan Ahli materi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D (penelitian dan pengembangan). Prosedur yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah prosedur dari borg and gall yang telah dimodifikasi oleh sugiono, dengan menggunakan 7 tahap dari 10 tahap yaitu potensi dan masalah, mengumpulkan informasi, design produk, validasi design, revisi design, uji coba produk, revisi produk. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran matematika berbasis android yang telah dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika oleh 3 orang ahli materi yang memperoleh skor rata – rata 3,67 (Layak) dan 2 orang ahli media dengan perolehan skor rata – rata 3,59 (Layak) dengan masing – masing skor maksimal kelayakan adalah 4. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran matematika berbasis android valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) Is there any difference between students’ mathematical representation ability who were taught by using the learning model of Project Based Learning with students who were taught by Guided Discovery Learning. (2) Is there any difference in the students' mathematical representation ability based on high, medium, or low learning motivation categories. (3) Is there an interaction between the learning model and the learning motivation toward mathematical representation ability. This research type was quasi experiment. This research was a quasi experimental research with 2x3 factorial design. Instrument used to collect data was test of representation ability and learning motivation questionnaire. The hypothesis testing used two way analysis of variance with unequal cell. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that (1) There is a difference in the students' mathematical representation ability that was taught by using Project Based Learning model with students who were taught by sing Guided Discovery Learning model with sig value. <0.05 i.e. .000 <0.05 (2) There is a difference in the students’mathematical representation ability based on high, medium, or low learning motivation category with sig value. <0.05 ie .017 <0.05 (3) There is an interaction between the learning model and the learning motivation on the mathematical representation ability with the sig value. <0.05 ie .002 <0.05.

Abstract

Every year, high school students of class XII who plan to continue their study program to the University always feel hesitant in determining the field of study to be chosen. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of making modeling decision making in determining the direction of Islamic religious education seen from the interests and talents of students. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method and survey method. The participants of this research were high school / MAN / equivalent students in Bandar Lampung. The results showed that the Decision variable Choosing the Department of Islamic Education was influenced by interests and talents with the model  + 0.301  (talent). AbstrakSetiap tahun, siswa kelas XII SMA yang berencana melanjutkan program studi ke Universitas selalu merasa bimbang dalam menentukan bidang studi yang harus di pilih. Oleh karena nya penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan membuat pemodelan pengambilan keputusan dalam penentuan jurusan pendidikan agama islam dilihat dari minat dan bakat siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan metode survei. Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SMA/MAN/Sederajat di Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel keputusan memilih jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam dipengaruhi oleh minat dan bakat dengan pemodelan  + 0.301  (Bakat). Kata Kunci: Permodelan; Pengambilan Keputusan; Pemilihan Jurusan; Minat; Bakat

Abstract

In mushroom cultivation of white oyster mushroom (P. ostreatus), problems in the contamination during the production are typically found. This contamination is due to the issue in controlling temperature during the media sterilization for growing the fungus (bag-log). This suboptimal sterilization causes unwanted bacteria and spores to grow. To reduce the amount of contamination, the purpose of this study was to demonstrate and evaluate the temperature distribution using one convection pipe with diameter of 6 and 8 cm. The fuel used for this sterilization process is rice husk. Sterilization itself aims to kill other unwanted bacteria and spores on the bag-log. Sterilization was done by traditional steaming bag-log drums arranged in four rows upwards for 6 hours. Convection pipes were built in drums. The steamer was done by performing two retrievals of data. From the experiment results, the use of convection pipe of 8 cm was better than the convection pipe of 6 cm. This is shown from the amount of fungal contamination in convection pipes were less in 8. The result of temperature measurement using dual laser infrared thermometer was also completed and interpreted using Matrix Laboratory with interpolation method to get heat distribution result.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan model matematika terbaik yang dapat digunakan untuk menghitung tingkat efisiensi rawat inap selama dua tahun kedepan menggunakan metode exponential smoothing dan memprediksi jumlah pasien selama dua tahun kedepan berdasarkan grafik Barber Johnson di Rumah Sakit Pertamina Bintang Amin. Penelitian ini menggunakan data pasien dari bulan Januari 2017 sampai bulan Agustus 2021 dan empat bulan data Sensus Harian Rumah Sakit (SHRI). Perhitungan jumlah pasien dua tahun kedepan dari bulan September 2021 sampai bulan Agustus 2023 menggunakan aplikasi Studio dengan metode exponential smoothing, sedangkan metode grafik Barber Johnson untuk menentukan titik efisiensi rawat inap menggunakan microsoft excel. Model matematika yang diperoleh dari analisis data adalah dengan hasil ramalan jumlah pasien menggunakan exponential smoothing selama dua tahun kedepan dengan rata-rata 466 pasien dan grafik Barber Johnson yang menentukan titik efisensi rawat inap per bulan. Nilai rata-rata tempat tidur terpakai selama dua tahun kedepan adalah 35,46%, maka selama dua tahun kedepan tingkat efisiensi rawat inap tidak efisien kerena nilai rata-rata keterpakaian tempat tidur selama dua tahun kedepan tidak mencapai 70%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode kuis interaktif, mahasiswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional yang dilakukan oleh peneliti pada mahasiswa semester III Universitas Negeri Islam Raden Intan Lampung. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif ini adalah jenis Kuasi Eksperimen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Uji T 2 sampel tidak berkolerasi. Hasil penelitian  didapat kesimpulan bahwa  rata rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis metode kuis interaktif lebih baik dari model pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan terhadap data penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang berbeda pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis antara mahasiswa yang kelasnya menerapkan metode kuis interaktif, mahasiswa yang dikelasnya menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional pada pokok pembahasan trigonometri

Abstract

This study aims to describe the thinking process of students of MAN I Bandar Lampung based on Adversity Quotient (AQ) type climbers, campers and quitters in solving mathematical problems based on Bransford and Stein theories on equations and quadratic functions. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Research subjects were determined through purposive sampling, and this research was conducted in class X MIA 4 MAN I Bandar Lampung with subject of 6 students divided into 3 groups. The first group consisted of 2 students of type climbers, the second group consisted of 2 students of campers, and the third group consisted of 2 students of type quitters. To determine the type of Adversity Quotient (AQ) of the subject to be selected, the ARP test is used. The data collection technique in this study uses the test method, unstructured interview method conducted on selected subjects and documentation method. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Written test result data is analyzed based on indicators that meet conceptual, semiconceptual, and computational thinking processes. The technique of data validity is done by using triangulation technique comparing data of test result and interview result to subject of climbers, campers and quitters. Based on the data analysis results obtained that the subject with the type Adversity Quotient (AQ) each has a different thinking process. Subjects with type climbers tend to have a conceptual thinking process in solving mathematical problems based on Bransford and Stein theories. Subjects with type campers tend to have a semiconceptual thinking process in solving mathematical problems based on Bransford and Stein theories, and subjects with type quitters in solving problems based on Bransford and Stein theories tend to have a computational thinking process.
