Abstract

The background of this research is that less than 10 per cent of the 846 ECE institutions in West Bandung District have accreditation of institutions, so the implementation quality doesn’t meet the education national standard. Accreditation, although it is an intermediate goal that must be achieved by each institution, has a great influence on the quality of implementation, the quality of graduates and the credibility of the institution. The purpose of the research is to describe the efforts and obstacles of ECE managers in achieving accreditation to improve the quality of education organization according to national education standard. The research uses descriptive qualitative for research method with case study approach in West Bandung District. Research results of the study: (1) the efforts of ECE managers in achieving institution accreditation; joining socialization, learning accreditation documents, consulting with the supervisors, taking discussions and workshops with fellow institutions that will participate in the accreditation, inviting resource persons and arranging infrastructure, and (2) the obstacles faced by managers in achieving accreditation are limited sources and infrastructure, and weak management. The research concludes that ECE management requires a serious effort by mobilizing various available resources to achieve accreditation because the implementation doesn’t pay attention to eight education national standards.

Abstract

This study explores the community learning centers' effort in improving the community's information literacy to prevent cybercrime during the pandemic era through an empirical examination of the phenomenon of pandemic COVID 19 social impacts in the specific context of Indonesia. The study used a simple research design approach with the case study method. The subject of this study consisted of five Community Learning Center’s managers from Cimahi District (CLC Nurul Islam Al Husna), Garut District (CLC Ngejah), East Jakarta District (CLC Faradika), and Karawang District (CLC Ash Sholahiyah and CLC Sanggar Juang), and two community education experts from Indonesia. Data were analyzed using triangulation, including extensive interviews from five community learning center's managers, interviews with community education experts, as well as secondary data. The study found that community learning center's efforts consist of conducting virtual socialization and also mentoring the community on information literacy, revitalizing parenting education on guiding children during their screen time, activating community reading center to create a lively discussion, and fostering community's critical thinking and information assessment. The contribution of this study to the literature on community education consists of presenting empirical evidence on the real contribution of Community Learning Center in improving the community's information literacy level while preventing the wide spreading of cyber-crime during the pandemic COVID 19 era.

Abstract

The Democratic Republic of East Timor as a newly independent country is faced with various problems in the field of education, including the family literacy program. The family as the smallest unit in social life needs to get the main attention in an effort to increase their dignity and with various programs that are directly able to empower it. One of the institutions that carried out the process was that which was carried out by CLC. This study aims to analyze the family literacy development strategy implemented by CLC Fatumasi. The research method used is qualitative, with participatory, ethnographic and collaborative research approaches. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The strategy taken is to implement eight steps, namely: identification of family literacy learning needs, the survey of resource potentials, priority scale analysis of learning needs, preparation of family literacy program design, preparation of family literacy curriculum, developing family literacy learning materials, application of family literacy learning, and follow up on family literacy development.Keywords: Family Literacy, Community Learning Center (CLC)

Abstract

Pendidikan nonformal, lanjut usia (lansia) merupakan salah satu sasaran didik dalamrangka mewujudkan pendidikan sepanjang hayat. Dewasa ini kajian tentang lansia makin pentingdilakukan oleh karena pertumbuhan penduduk lansia di seluruh dunia berjalan sangat cepat dibandingkandengan kelompok usia lainnya, hal ini selaras dengan meningkatnya usia harapan hidup.Dengan semakinmeningkatnya jumlah lansia, maka dibutuhkan lingkungan hidup yang memadai dan mensejahterakanlansia, yaitu sebuah kota yang ramah bagi lansia.Berdasarkan temuan lapangan tentang kondisi obyektifKota Bekasi yang diukur berdasarkan Delapan Indikator Kota Ramah Lansia menurut WHO diperolehdata sebagai berikut: (1) Indikator Kota Ramah Lansia yang harus memperoleh perhatian penting dariPemda Kota Bekasi adalah berkenaan dengan: keterlibatan lansia untuk berpartisipasi dalam pekerjaanyang sesuai dengan usianya dan mengisi waktu luang, perumahan, ruang terbuka dan bangunan, dantransportasi, (2) Indikator Kota Ramah Lansia yang cukup baik di Kota Bekasi adalah: komunikasidan informasi, pelayanan kesehatan dan partisipasi sosial. Kesimpulan kajian ini adalah denganmencermati kondisi sosial, budaya, politik, agama dan potensi yang ada serta seiring dengan kemajuanperkembangan industri, teknologi dan komunikasi, maka model Kota Ramah Lansia yang tepatdikembangkan di Kota Bekasi adalah holistik dan integratif yang partisipatif-kolaboratif. Rekomendasiterhadap hasil kajian, agar Pemerintah daerah dalam implementasinyamelibatkan berbagai pihak, baikpemerintah, swasta, masyarakat dan para lansia untuk mengambil perannya masing-masing yangmencakup Delapan Indikator Kota Ramah Lansia.

Abstract

Bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses serta hasil metode pembelajaran small step system lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini nonformal. Konsep Abdurrahman Ginting (2014:42) “cara atau pola yang khas dalam memanfaatkan berbagai prinsip dasar pendidikan serta berbagai teknik dan sumber daya terkait lainnya agar terjadi proses pembelajaran pada diri peserta didik.”. Pedekatan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian satu orang kepala lembaga, satu orang guru, dan perwakilan dua orang tua peserta didik biMBA AIUEO Nagasari Karawang. Hasil penelitian, Proses pembelajaran diawali stimulus, peserta didik diberikan modul – modul yang berisikan soal membaca, menghitung, menulis dan mewarnai dikerjakan berulang secara cepat dan tepat sampai terampil. Hasil metode pembelajaran small step system peningkatan minat baca dan kemampuan belajar peserta didik dalam membaca, menghitung dan menulis. Analisa penelitian yang diperoleh terdapat dua tahapan dalam proses pembelajaran, memfokuskan pada kemauan minat belajar peserta didik, kemampuan kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik berkembang. Kesimpulan peserta didik dapat memiliki minat baca dan belajar sejak dini sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Saran lembaga membuat laporan perkembangan  anak masuk di aplikasi komputer.Kata Kunci : Metode Pembelajaran Small Step System, Minat Baca, biMBA AIUEO.

Abstract

Kepala sekolah bertanggung jawab secara penuh dalam perannya sebagai pemimpin pada upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tantangan dan upaya kepala sekolah pendidikan anak usia dini dalam memotivasi para guru menjadi guru penggerak menuju sekolah penggerak yang berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam serta observasi pada 15 kepala sekolah pendidikan anak usia dini di Jawa Barat, diperkuat dengan studi literatur dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian mencakup 12 Upaya yang telah dilakukan kepala sekolah PAUD dalam mengembangkan lembaga menuju sekolah penggerak. Tantangan dalam mengembangkan lembaga PAUD menuju Sekolah Penggerak mencakup 12 hal yang saling terkait dan perlu diatasi bersama dengan seluruh pihak yang terkait, dan Kepala Sekolah selama ini telah melakukan 7 upaya penting dalam rangka memupuk Semangat Guru PAUD untuk mengikuti Program Sekolah Penggerak

Abstract

Implementation of the Tamyid Method as Accelerated Learning in the translation of the Qur'an as a focus of Research and Community Service (PkM) is a form of actualization or a form of community service work in disseminating and providing assistance to Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers so that they are qualified and professional in carrying out their duties. The task of fostering and developing competence for students, especially Middle School Students/Students/Pondok Pesantren Bayt Tamyiz, Tukdana District, Indramayu Regency. These activities are designed to realize students who can develop their potential optimally. To realize this, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers must understand and be able to implement it in the learning process. The role of PAI teachers must also be able to socialize in the learning process through the Tamyiz Method as Accelerated Learning in the translation of the Qur'an, which is a necessity that should be considered because it has a role in efforts to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this community service is to describe the role of PAI teachers in the form of assistance in improving student learning outcomes. PAI teachers improve student learning outcomes in their collective contribution through the Islamic Religious Education Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP PAI) and as coaches, which are specifically implemented to assist schools/institutions/communities. Socialization of the Tamyiz Method for Islamic Religious Education teachers will determine success in improving the quality of student learning outcomes because the Tamyiz method is straightforward and fast in learning, memorizing, understanding, appreciating, and translating the Qur'an.

Abstract

The background of this research problem is that less than 5% of the 121,895 Playgroup institutions in West Java are accredited. This identifies that the implementation of the Play Group is not yet in accordance with the national education standards. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts and obstacles of the management of the Anak Mulia Play Group in Cibogo Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency in taking accreditation as an effort to improve the quality of implementation according to national education standards. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The conclusion of this research is that Playgroup managers show that: (1) managers need serious efforts, by mobilizing their resources, including energy, costs, time, funds and conducting intensive mentoring to fellow Play Group institution that have successfully achieved accreditation institutions, and (2) the obstacles experienced by managers are the limited ability to fill in accreditation data online, the lack of order in documenting the implementation of Play Groups, limited operational funds for the institution and not fully understand the contents of the National Education Standards document

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of information literacy, internet utilization as a source of information literacy, and internet utilization to increase student reading interest at Institut Keguruan dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Siliwangi (IKIP Siliwangi). This research uses qualitatif descriptive method. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. Selection of research subjects using the snowball sampling technique. This research's subjects consisted of 23 students related to literacy, 16 students related to information literacy, 18 students related to the results of internet utilization in increasing students' reading interest, and 1 lecturer of Community Education at IKIP Siliwangi. The results showed that students 'understanding of information seeking and information selection was still low compared to students' understanding of information dissemination. Students are still not optimal in using information literacy. Only a few students understand information literacy, how to use information literacy, and select information. Students understand the use of the internet and use it only for social media activities, but low in utilizing the internet as a learning source. Also, the results of the study indicated that students' reading interest was low. Students choose to use the internet instead of reading books. Students do not feel the need to come to the library to find books that match what they need to learn. Therefore, students have to understand the concept of information literacy and take advantage of various applications that support learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang proses pembelajaran daring  selama pandemik. /tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa saja akses yang digunakan untuk proses pembelajaran online di SPNF SKB Kota Bekasi. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi,untuk proses pembelajaran online di SPNF SKB kota Bekasi menggunakan aplikasi google classroom, goggle meet, dan zoom, atau bahkan bisa menggunakan media sosial whatsapp.penulis ini berharap  selama pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar masih dilakukan secara online/ daring, meskipun warga belajar dan tutor tempat yang berbeda namun tetap efektif serta memungkinkan.
