Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of intradialytic exercises and HD temperature profiling in improving the quality of HD services. The literature search method is based on the compilation of PICO through online database searches on Clinicalkey, Clinicalkey Nursing, ScienceDirect, EBSCO, ProQuest, and Scopus. Journal search results obtained 20,106 articles; after the selection stage, nine reports were obtained for analysis, consisting of 5 RCT articles, one systematic review article, two quasi-experimental articles, and one meta-analysis article. The results showed that HD patients who were routinely given intradialytic exercises would show an increase in HD adequacy achievements, suppress inflammatory reactions, increase albumin and hemoglobin values, reduce the erythropoietin resistance index, increase phosphate clearance, improve the quality of life of HD patients and minimize the risk of both acute and chronic complications. Chronic disease caused by HD. Meanwhile, temperature profiling can reduce the incidence of intradialytic hypotension, pruritus, and fatigue and reduce the severity of Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) without interfering with the achievement of HD adequacy. This study concludes that intradialytic training and temperature profiling effectively improve the quality of HD services. Abstract

This study aims to optimize the nurse manager's planning function based on identifying needs or solving problems in the service unit. The method used is a case report by conducting interviews, observing using observation sheets, and distributing questionnaires. The study results show optimizing the planning function of nurses as managers of nursing services. Preparation of draft Guidelines and SPO for home health care services is a solution. Implementation is carried out through Lewin's three phases process planned change approach. In conclusion, nurses need to show that nurses have a responsibility to ensure patient safety with adequate competence, including by maximizing the function of nurses as managers of nursing services by optimizing the planning function of nurse managers. Abstract

This study report aims to identify planned changes in the initiation of optimization of the planning function in Linen Management. This method uses a case study approach using interviews, document review and observation, and Ishikawa's analysis. the results of the study shared that the application of the planning function in linen handling had not been optimal, as a result it had an impact on nursing services in the room. The management of linen in the room does not yet have standard guidelines and regulations for managing linen in each room. In conclusion, optimizing the planning function of the Head Nurse in linen management through drafting guidelines for linen management, the leadership's efforts to strengthen and sustain changes can be made by ratifying linen management regulations. Keywords: planning function, service quality, linen management, planned change.

Abstract

This study aims to review antiseptics used in pin-site care to prevent pin-site infection in patients with external fixators attached. The research method is a systematic review, which begins with the process of selecting articles through PRISMA, which is followed by the process of reviewing reports to determine then which papers can be reviewed. The results of a systematic review of six articles showed the benefits of using antiseptics for pin site care in preventing pin site infection. The combination of chlorhexidine with other antiseptics such as alcohol and 1% silver sulphadiazine, the use of single chlorhexidine, povidone iodine, emollient, and microbicidal liquid polymer is effective in preventing pin site infection. Chlorhexidine is considered to be used in low concentrations to minimize the risk of skin irritation. Povidone iodine has the advantage of being an antiseptic that can be found easily in hospitals and has a low price. In conclusion, antiseptics can be used to prevent pin site infection, but the use of emollient skincare, a combination of 5% chlorhexidine - 1% silver sulphadiazine, and microbicidal liquid polymer still requires further research due to the lack of literature and the use of unfamiliar materials. Abstract

The aim of this literature review is to obtain an overview regarding the effectiveness of stretching, such as reducing complaints of low back pain, relaxing muscles, preventing spasms, and preventing musculoskeletal disorders due to work risks and increasing the knowledge of office workers with exercises that can provide comfort. The method used in this journal analysis is a literature review resulting from the identification of several journals. The results of the research show that stretching is a relaxation activity for the muscles that can increase muscle flexibility and mobility and can maximize the range of motion of the joints. Stretching is done routinely 2-3 times every week with 15-30 second movements and repeated 2-3 times. time. In conclusion, stretching is an exercise that has been proven to have a significant effect on reducing low back pain. Apart from that, stretching can also relax the muscles while working, so that office workers can feel comfortable while working. Keywords: Low Back Pain, Pain, Office Workers, Stretching

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the relationship between self acceptance and fluid adherence in ESRD patients undergoing HD. This study used cross sectional design with consecutive sampling of 121 respondents. Data collection used fluid adherence questionnaires, self acceptance scale and documentation studies. The analysis used chi square and logistic regression. The result showed that 79,3% of respondents had adherence to fluid restriction and 78,5% of them had self acceptance. The analysis result also showed there was a significant relationship between self acceptance and fluid adherence (p=0,024), but no significant relationship between self-acceptance and IDWG (p=0.154). There was significant relationship between confounding variable of the length of time undergoing HD and fluid adherence (p=0.033), adequacy HD and IDWG (p=0,011). However, other confounding variables were not significant relationship with fluid adherence, which were: age, gender, education, and comorbidities. Furthermore, the multivariat analysis found that self acceptance was the most dominant variable affecting fluid adherence (p=0.006) after controlling by variables of the sex and the length of time undergoing HD, which can predicted 21% to fluid adherence. In conclusion, from the results of this study, it was found that there was a significant relationship between self-acceptance and length of time undergoing hemodialysis with fluid adherence in terminal renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. Key words: Hemodialysis, End Stage Renal Disease, Fluid adherence, Self Acceptance
