<![CDATA[It is not simple to develop a child's character. Formal education combined with a good value planting method can help students learn more effectively and shape their personalities. Families, schools, communities, government, and the media all share responsibilities for children's education and character development. The family is the first and most important environment in which children's personalities are formed. The formation of personality Education in schools is an important element of the school's efforts to meet parents' expectations of developing, moulding, and establishing excellent character in their children. Integration and synergy between education in the home (informal) and education at school are required to build and develop children's character (formal). The combination of informal and formal education is hoped to build a good character for students’ especially for the human resources. As we know that Indonesian is rich of natural resources while the human resource’s aspect is a problem. The problem can be solved by enhancing the character of strong human capital based on the Indonesian nation's character through various forms of education (formal, informal, and non-formal) and at various levels of education (ranging from primary, secondary, and tertiary education).]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis majas simile pada lirik lagu Glück dalam album vor uns die Sinnflut karya Berge, mendeskripsikan ungkapan kebahagiaan pada lirik lagu dan Pesan Moral yang disampaikan pada lagu Glück dalam album vor uns die Sinnflut karya Berge. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Sumber Penelitian ini adalah lirik lagu Glück dalam album vor uns die Sinnflut karya Berge. Data penelitian ini adalah satuan bahasa yang di dalamnya mengandung majas simile, makna ungkapan kebahagiaan serta pesan moral dari lagu Glück dalam album vor uns die Sinnflut karya Berge.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik mendengar, simak dan mencatat. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari lirik lagu Glück dalam album vor uns die Sinnflut karya Berge tersebut ditemukan tiga bagian lirik yang mengandung majas simile yaitu dengan ciri-ciri menggunakan kata penghubung, yaitu seperti, mengungkapkan makna definisi kebahagiaan pada lirik, Lirik lagu Glück dalam album vor uns die Sinnflut karya Berge mengandung Pesan Moral yang berkaitan dengan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, sesama manusia dan pesan moral dengan lingkungan.]]>

<![CDATA[Kegiatan Sosialisasi English Fun Activities ini bertujuan untuk mengubah suasana belajar bahasa inggris menjadi menyenangkan (fun) pada kelas Bahasa Inggris di sekolah dasar, khususnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara (speaking skills) siswa SD Swasta GKPS 2 Pematang Siantar . Bahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang sangat penting untuk dikuasai oleh siswa,namun kebanyakan siswa menganggap bahwa mata pelajaran ini sangat sulit untuk dikuasai. Cara pengucapan yang berbeda dengan penulisannya, makna yang sulit untuk dihafal dan dipahami, dan tata bahasa yang sering dianggap rumit, membuat minat belajar siswa berkurang sehingga mereka merasa bosan dan malas untuk mempelajarinya. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi hal ini diperlukan strategi, khusus yaitu dengan membuat kegiatan Sosialisasi English fun activities. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh siswa kelas 4 SD Swasta GKPS Pematang Siantar. Untuk penyampaian pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris ini dilakukan dengan cara yang menyenangkan seperti permainan (games) berbahasa Inggris, Family Members, menyanyi dan menari. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan lancar, siswa sangat bersemangat belajar dan berperan aktif selama kegiatan kelas berlangsung. <![CDATA[A song is an artistic composition of tones or sounds in order, combination, and temporal relationships to produce musical compositions that have unity and continuity. In modern times like this, people only enjoy songs as entertainment. Songs are often sung or heard without knowing the meaning of the lyrics. The song "Wie schön du bist" by Sarah Connor is one of the German pop songs that has meaning in its lyrics. The purpose of this research is to find the denotation meaning, connotation meaning, and myth contained in the lyrics of the song "Wie schön du bist" by Sarah Connor. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, with Roland Barthes semiotic approach to find denotation meaning, connotation meaning, and myth contained in the lyrics of the song "Wie schön du bist" by Sarah Connor. The song "Wie schön du bist" has a meaning that refers to a mother's love for her child. A mother's love for her child cannot be compared to anything in this world. A mother's love can influence a child's growth. A child can also make a mother a place to share her heart.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to see the effectiveness of the memory card matching game on increasing German vocabulary (Wortschatz) of Class XI Students of SMA YP HKBP Pematang Siantar. This research used quantitative method with experimental approach and One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The population in this study were class XI students totaling 34 people. The sample used was 19 people, namely students of class XI IPA SMA YP HKBP Pematang Siantar. The conclusion of this study, namely the Matching Card learning media on increasing German vocabulary (Wortschatz) of XI science class students of SMA YP HKBP Pematang Siantar. This is evidenced by an increase in the average score of students at the time of the pretest of 48.68 below the KKM and at the time of the posttest to 87.00 above the KKM. Based on the results of data analysis and hypotheses tested, it is known that the Matching Card learning media is effective on students' writing skills. This is evidenced by the results of the normalized N-Gain test analysis with a score of 0.7705 or equivalent to 77%, where the score is in the effective category. Then based on the statistical hypothesis test with paired samples test, the significance value is 0.001 <0.05 in the sense that the calculated statistical results (t output number) < table statistics (t table), it is concluded that Ho is rejected and H₁ is accepted. Thus, the Matching Card learning media has an effect in the effective category on the learning process.]]>

Study This use method quantitative with type study approach experiment And design One Group Pretest-Posttestresearch. Population in study This is student Class XI has 34 people. Sample used _ _ as many as 19 people, namely student class XI Science SMA YP HKBP PematangSiantar . Conclusion study This is a learning model Make A Match is influential to ability write Language German student class XI Science SMA YP HKBP PematangSiantar . That thing proven with enhancement average student score on during the pretest it was 52.63 under KKM and on at posttest it was 85.00 above the KKM. As for results test normality of value data The pretest significance is 0.053 and _ mark posttest significance of 0.067 , so concluded mark significance (Sig.) > 0.05 then the research data the normally distributed . Based on results data analysis and hypothesis that in test , known that learning model Make A Match influential to Skills write students . That thing proven with results analysis test hypothesis statistics with paired samples test generated mark significance equal to 0.001< 0.05 in meaning Sig value . (2-sided p) < 0.05, concluded that Ho was rejected and H 1 accepted . <![CDATA[Globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi menuntut peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, khususnya dalam penguasaan bahasa asing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara (Sprechen) level A1 pada mahasiswa semester I program studi Bahasa Jerman di FKIP Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus deskriptif, dengan partisipan sebanyak 30 mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi selama satu semester dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL secara signifikan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, keterampilan kolaboratif, kreativitas, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam berbicara bahasa Jerman. Mahasiswa menunjukkan respon positif terhadap metode PBL, merasa lebih terlibat dan termotivasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa PBL adalah metode yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Jerman level A1 dan merekomendasikan penerapannya secara lebih luas dalam kurikulum bahasa asing]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students' speaking skills through an innovative learning model, namely by using Glasser's learning model. Speaking skills require learners to think creatively and innovatively. Speaking skills in German (Sprechfertigkeit) include linguistic materials and also discuss various forms of conversation/dialogue themes in accordance with themes that intersect with everyday life. Speaking skills are one of the four language skills that need to be instilled so that the communicative abilities of students can be developed optimally. This research was conducted by the German Language Education Study Program at Nommensen HKBP University Pematang Siantar. In this study using experimental method by using initial test and final text. This research procedure was carried out using a quasi experimental design because in this study there were external variables that could not be controlled by the researcher. The subjects of this study were all students of the German Language Education Study Program Semester 3 (three) Nommensen HKBP University Pematang Siantar Academic Year 2023/2024. With data collection techniques is to test the learning outcomes in accordance with the teaching material on learning speaking skills (Sprechfertigkeit). The results of this study indicate that the speaking ability of students by using the Glasser model increases than before. The difference can be seen from the results of data analysis on the pretest, which before the application reached an average of 54.61 classified as a poor category and the results of data analysis on the posttest, which after the application reached an average of 74.44 classified as a good category with a mean difference (D) ̅) of -19.83. So it can be concluded that the Glasser learning model is proven effective in improving students' speaking skills.]]>
