ABSTRACT Recently, some research showed that there is an immunomodulator effect in the fermentation of Rosella kombucha mushroom tea and it can be caused by flavonoid and organic acid. The purpose of this research was to show the activity of immunomodulator Rosella kombucha mushroom tea to against the proliferation of lymphocyte cells of Balb/C mice in vitro and to show the dose and length of fermentation that induces highest immunomodulator activity. Kombucha mushroom was fermented for 5 days, 10 days and also 15 days with boiled Rosella tea, water and sugar. The yield of fermentation in the concentration of 6,25; 12,5; 25; 50 and 100 µg/mL were tested on lymphocyte cells proliferation by the MTT Assay. The OD (Optical Density) data obtained was statistically analyzed by nonparametric Friedman test and continuoused by Mann-Whitney test. The result of this research showed that the fermentation of Rosella kombucha mushroom tea has an immunostimulatory activity on lymphocyte cells proliferation with the concentration 6,25; 12,5 and 25 µg/mL in the 10 days and the highest immunostimulatory activity showed by the concentration 25 µg/mL and 10 days of fermentation time. INTISARI Teh hitam dan kombucha adalah minuman kesehatan yang diketahui mampu meningkatkan sistem kekebalan tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan aktivitas imunomodulator fermentasi teh hitam jamur kombucha (FTHJK) terhadap fagositosis makrofag mencit galur Balb/C secara in vitro. Fermentasi kombucha dilakukan selama 5, 10 dan 15 hari menggunakan media seduhan teh hitam yang telah ditambahkan gula. Hasil FTHJK dibuat beberapa seri konsentrasi yaitu 6,25; 12,5; 25; 50, 100 µg/mL dan sebagai kontrol positif digunakan lipopolisakarida (LPS) 10 µg/mL untuk diujikan aktivitas fagositosis makrofag secara in vitro pada mencit jantan galur Balb/C usia 2 bulan. Data yang diperoleh berupa nilai Indeks Fagositosis (IF) (jumlah lateks yang dimakan oleh 100 sel makrofag) dan Kapasitas Fagositosis (jumlah sel makrofag yang memakan lateks). Hasil IF dan kapasitas dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan SPSS 16 for windows metode Friedman test, dilanjutkan uji Mann Withney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, FTHJK memiliki aktivitas imunomodulator terhadap peningkatan fagositosis makrofag pada konsentrasi 6,25; 12,5; 25; 50 dan 100 µg/mL dengan lama fermentasi 5, 10 dan 15 hari. Aktivitas imunostimulator tertinggi ditunjukkan pada konsentrasi 100 µg/mL dengan lama fermentasi 10 hari berdasarkan nilai IF. Kata kunci: Imunomodulator, IF (Indeks Fagositosis), Kapasitas Fagositosis, Fermentasi teh hitam jamur kombucha. ABSTRACT Black tea and kombucha is beverage drink was known that can increase immunity. This study aims to not only determine the fermented black tea kombucha as an immunomodulatory againts macrophages cell phagocytic of mice strains Balb/C in vitro, but also to determine concentration with duration fermentation that produces the highest activity Fermentation kombucha was carried out for 5, 10 and 15 days with steeping black tea has been given sugar. Fermented black tea kombucha was made to any series concentrations of 6,25; 12,5; 25; 50 and 100 µg/mL, as a positive control used lipopolysaccharide (LPS) 10 mg/mL there were tested in vitro on activity phagocytic macrophage cell of mice strains Balb/C. Value of Phagocytic Index (phagocytic of latex in 100 macrophage) and phagocytic capacity (amount of macrophage that phagocytic latex) were analyzed using SPSS 16 for windows with methode Friedman test followed by Mann Withney test. The results showed that fermented black tea kombucha has the highest as immunostimulatory activity on macrophage phagocytic at the concentration of 100 µg/mL and 10 days duration fermentation. ABSTRACT Antioxidant is a compound that can inhibit free radicals. Free radicals can cause several diseases. The purpose of this study is to reveal the antioxidant activity of carica leave ethanol extract (CLEE) (Carica pubescens) and determine its active compounds. The extract produces with maceration method using ethanol 96% as a solvent. The antioxidant activities of CLEE series concentration (2.5; 5.0; 10.0; 15.0; 20.0 and 25.0) ppm and vitamin C series concentration of (0.5; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0 and 2.5) ppm as standard antioxidant were measured with DPPH method. Absorbance was observed by spectrophotometer UV-Vis. Antioxidant activities presented by IC50 value derived from probit analysis. Identification of active compounds in CLEE was performed by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) method. The results showed that the IC50 value for CLEE and vitamin C as an antioxidant were 30.8 ppm and 2.9 ppm respectively. Base on TLC analysis, alkaloids, a phenol compound, and flavonoids were found in CLEE. Key words: antioxidant, Carica pubescens, DPPH, TLC

ABSTRACT Alfalfa (Medicago Sativa L.) plant is known to have compounds of flavonoid and vitamine C which can serve as antioxidants. This research aims knowing the antioxidant activity of alfalfa herbal ethanolic extract using DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-pikrilhydrazil method and knowing the content of its active compound have wan. The research was performed by making alfalfa herbal ethanolic extract by maceration method using ethanol extracting solvent 70%. The extract was divided into some concentrations of 10, 20, 40 and 80 μg/ml. As a comparison, vitamine C was used with concentrations of 1, 2, 4, and 8 μg/ml. The test of antioxidant activity was conducted by reacting 50 μl of alfalfa herbal ethanolic extract with 4.0 ml DPPH 0.1 mM, then it was measured for the absorbance using visible spectrophotometry with a wavelength of 525 nm. The obtained data was calculated to discover its antioxidant activity. The statistical analysis used was Mann-Whitney test. The IC50 value was gained using probit analysis and the statistical analysis used t-test and to discover the content of active compound in alfalfa herbal ethanolic extract, TLC test was performed. The research result indicated that the alfalfa herbal ethanolic extract had antioxidant activities with alfalfa herbal ethanolic extract IC50 value of 59.339 μg/ml, and standard solution of vitamine C IC50 value of 4.768 μg/ml. The result of statistical test for IC50 indicated an unsignificant difference between alfalfa herbal ethanolic extract and vitamine C. Otherside it could be concluded that the alfalfa herbal ethanolic extract containing flavonoid had antioxidant activities. ABSTRACT Empirical experience-based, Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa linn) have a special efficacy as anticholesterol. The objectives of this research were to find out whether the effect of ethanolic extracts of rosella flowers, have an effect in increasing HDL cholesterol levels in male rats of wistar strain of hyperlipidemia and to discovering of increased HDL cholesterol effect from the extract on the experiment. This experimental research used 30 male wistar strain white mice divided into 5 groups. The negative control group was feed with 0.5% CMC Na solution and high-lipid meals. The positive control group was feed with 151 mg/kg BW gemfibrozil solution. The three experimental groups were feed orally with ethanol extracts of rosella flowers of 18.9 mg/kg BW, 37.8 mg/kg BW and 75.6 mg/kg BW dosages, respectively, for 14 days. The HDL levels in the subject animals were measured using Precipitation methods for the LDL, VLDL and Chylomicron. The data in the evaluation of HDL cholesterol levels after administration of test preparations and the percentage increase in HDL levels. Data obtained by the HDL cholesterol levels were analyzed by using One Way Anova test and it continued by using Tukey test. The result showed that the ethanolic extracts of rosella flowers dose 18.9 mg/kg BW (p = 0.016), 37.8 mg/kg BW (p = 0.004) and 75.6 mg/kg BW (p = 0.004) can increase levels HDL wistar strain male rats were significantly hyperlipidemia when compared with negative control group. The optimum dose of the ethanolic extract of rosella flowers which can increase HDL levels in the dose of 75.6 mg/kg BW with a percentage increase in HDL Levels of 29.87%. ABSTRACTFree radicals are suspected as triggers of various degenerative diseases. Antioxidants are compounds that can counteract free radicals. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity by DPPH method and analyze the active compounds contained in romaine lettuce extract (Lactuca sativa var Longifolia) and lactuca sativa var Crishpa lettuce extract (Lactuca sativa var Crishpa). Romaine lettuce and and lactuca sativa var Crishpa was done extraction with a maceration method using 70% as ethanol solvent. The concentration of extract used was 12.5; 25; 50; 100; 200 and 400 ppm and vitamin C concentrations as comparison was 0.5; 1; 1.5; 2; 2,5 and 3 ppm tested its antioxidant activity by DPPH method by spectrophotometry visible, until IC50 value was obtained. The identification of the active compound was performed by phytochemical screening and Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC). The results showed that romaine lettuce has IC50 value of 151,1515 ppm and lactuca sativa var Crishpa has IC50 value of 183,7560 ppm and vitamin C value was 1,7005 ppm. The chemical compounds contained in romaine ethanol extract and lactuca sativa var Crishpa lettuce extract are alkaloids, phenols and flavonoids.Keywords: Antioxidant, DPPH, IC50, TLC, Romaine, Lactuca sativa var Crishpa

ABSTRACTRoselle calyx has been used as traditional medicine for generations. The content of phenols and flavonoids in the roselle calyx thought to have immunostimulatory effects. This study aims to determine the immunostimulatory activity in vitro and to identified phenolic and flavonoids compounds in the water fraction of roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) calyx ethanol extract.Powder of roselle calyx macerated with 96% ethanol. The extract were obtained partitioned gradually with n-hexana, ethyl acetate, and water. Immunostimulatory activity test was done according to MTT Assay with series of water fraction at concentration 10, 20, 50,100, 200, 400 μg/mL and positive control PHA 10 μg/ml against to lymphocyte cell culture. Optical Density (OD) data was statistically analyzed by Oneway ANOVA followed Tukey test (p<0.05). Identification of phenolic and flavonoids compounds in roselle calyx done by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC).The results of statistical analysis showed that water fraction have immunostimulatory activity against lymphocyte proliferation at a concentration of 400 μg/mL were significantly different compared to the positive control and the cells control (p<0.05). TLC test results showed that the fraction contained phenols and flavonoids.Key words : roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) calyx, MTT Assay, immunostimulatory, phenolic and flavonoid.

Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan, setiap tahunnya menggadakan penambahan koleksi buku bacaan. Agar penggadaan buku tersebut sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna yakni mahasiswa maka diperlukan informasi koleksi buku yang dibutuhkan atau diminati. Untuk menjawab permasalahan ini , maka perlukan sistem clustering buku-buku yang ada diperpustakaan dengan melihat aspek frekuensi peminjaman. Sistem Clustering yang dibuat meggunakan metode K-Means dengan pemilihan 3 Cluster yakni, sangat diminati, diminati dan kurang diminati. Dari hasil pengolahan data melalui Aplikasi Rapid Miner dengan K=3 , didapatkan hasil cluster_0 ( rendah) terdiri 82 judul buku dengan frekuensi peminjaman buku nya dalam kategori jarang dengan kata lain kurang diminati untuk dipinjam, cluster_1 (sedang) terdiri dari 23 judul buku yang merupakan buku-buku dengan frekuensi peminjaman sedang dengan kata lain dikategorikan diminati untuk dipinjam, cluster_2 (tinggi) terdiri dari 2 judul buku merupakan kelompok buku yang paling diminati yang terdiri dari 2 judul buku yakni Teknologi Beton dan buku Teori dan Praktik hotel Front Office. Hasil pengelompokan data buku-buku ini dapat menjadi masukkan bagi pengelola perpustakaan dalam pengadaan koleksi buku berdasarkan frekuensi peminjaman buku.

In the insurance business the most important thing is consumer trust, and to build it is to provide satisfaction. Thus, various efforts have been made to satisfy consumers, including by providing excellent service and maintaining the credibility of the company. This study attempts to analyze consumer satisfaction in the insurance sector, with company image and service as influencing variables. In studying scientifically, a quantitative method with a probability analysis technique is determined, namely multiple linear regression. The object of this research is PT Airline Reasuransi Indonesia, and the respondents are customers, as many as 118 people. Data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires which were conducted randomly. The results of the study explain that the principle of choosing insurance is the credibility of the company or image, then service, especially with regard to the breadth of the network of cooperation with the hospital and the ease of claims.Keywords: Insurance, Image, Excellent Service, Satisfaction

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji Pengaruh Faktor Pendapatan, Pendidikan Kewirausahaan, dan Lingkungan Keluarga Terhadap Minat Melanjutkan Bisnis Keluarga UKM Pudak Di Kecamatan Gresik (Studi Pada Minat Kewirausahaan di Kecamatan UKM Pudak Gresik). Tinjauan pustaka dan penyusunan hipotesis juga dilakukan, dan data dikumpulkan dari kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 34 responden putra dan putri dari pemilik SMM kecamatan Gresik dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Tes ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh pendapatan bisnis terhadap minat berwirausaha, pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap minat berwirausaha, lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha, uji f variabel pendapatan usaha, pendidikan wirausaha, dan lingkungan keluarga secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap wirausaha
