Abstract

Abstract: Teachers of elementary school / madrasah ibtidaiyah as professional educators who act as a facilitator in learning are required to have creativity to explore the potential sources and learning media that exist in the environment in order to give guidance in quality. In order to be a good facilitator, teachers of elementary school / madrasah ibtidaiyah are expected to supply themselves with the insights and skills of design development and the making of learning media so they can perform their role well. Without it, they can’t improve their qualities of learning in order to fulfill their duty. The fact shows that teachers of elementary school / madrasah ibtidaiyah in Pujon Malang Regency generally have difficulty in improving the quality and effectiveness of learning in their respective elementary school / madrasah ibtidaiyah. This situation is caused by the lack of facilities and infrastructure that can support students’s activeness and enjoyment in learning as well because the teachers do not have enough knowledge and skills to create a fun learning media for children. Therefore, the task force provides training on graphic and board learning mediamaking to improve learning quality for teachers of elementary school / madrasah ibtidaiyah in Pujon Malang Regency which in the end can improve the quality of learning around the target audiences.Keywords: graphic media, board media, quality of learningAbstrak: Guru sekolah dasar (SD) / madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI) sebagai tenaga pendidik profesional yang berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran dituntut kreativitasnya untuk menggali potensi sumber dan media pembelajaran yang ada di lingkungannya agar dapat membelajarkan muridnya secara berkualitas. Agar dapat jadi fasilitator yang baik guru SD/MI diharapkan dapat membekali diri dengan wawasan dan keterampilan pengembangan desai dan pembuatan media pembelajaran sehingga guru dapat menjalankan perannya dengan baik. Tanpa bekal yang cukup guru SD/MI tidak akan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Kenyataannya menunjukkan bahwa para guru SD/MI Kecamatan Pujon Kabupaten Malang pada umumnya mengalami kesulitan dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas pembelajaran di SD/MI masing-masing. Keadaan ini disebabkan kurangnya sarana dan prasarana yang dapar menunjang keaktifan dan kesenangan murid dalam belajar juga karena para guru belum memiliki wawasan dan keterampilan yang memadai untuk membuat media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan bagi anak. Oleh karena itu, satuan tugas (satgas) memberi pelatihan pembuatan media grafis dan media papan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bagi guru-guru SD/MI Kecamatan Pujon Kabupaten Malang yang pada akhirya dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekitar khalayak sasaran.Kata kunci: media grafis, media papan, kualitas pembelajaran

Abstract

The results of this study showed that the average score on the student’s self-help capability in preaction step was 48.57 with a percentage of 14.3%. This indicated that the capability was under qualified. The implementation of Self-Help capability by using Doll-modeled Human Being Media used two cycles. The first cycle was 66 with total percentage of 28.5% classified into under qualifies. The second cycle was 85.7 with with total percentage of 85.7%. the capability of self-help in the first grade was increasing for each cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that the use of Doll-modeled Human Being Media can increase Self-Help capability for Students with Mental Retardation in the First Grade. At the result, the teacher are expected using Doll-modeled Human Being Media in learning of Self-Help capability in order students can improve Self-Help capability.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata kemampuan bina diri siswa pada tahap pratindakan adalah 48,57 dengan persentase sebesar 14,3%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran pada tahap pratindakan memperoleh kualifikasi nilai sangat kurang (SK). Pelaksanaan pembelajaran praktik bina diri menggunakan boneka model manusia dilaksanakan melalui 2 siklus. Padasiklus I skor rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 66 dengan jumlah persentase sebesar 28,5%, persentase tersebut termasuk kualifikasi sangat kurang (SK). Pada siklus II skor rata-rata yang diperoleh sudah meningkat dibandingkan pada siklus I yaitu 85,7 dengan jumlah persentase sebesar 85,7%. Kemampuan bina diri siswa kelas I mengalami peningkatan pada tiap siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media boneka model manusia dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bina diri siswa kelas I. Dengan demikian guru diharapkan menggunakan media boneka model manusia pada pembelajaran bina diri agar siswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bina dirinya.

Abstract

The reseach’s purpose was to analyze the effect of picture numeric card media toward improvement of the summation computation ability for student with intellectual disability of grade IV in SDLB. Data collected was analyzed with experiment technique and single subject research A-B design. Research result showed that: after being analyzed between condition overlap persentase was 0%. Thus, it could be concluded that there was effect of pictorial numeric card media toward summation computation ability of student with intellectual disability

Abstract

The aims of this research were to describe: (1) the implementation of drawing college in improving the ability of beginning writing (2) the improvement of beginning writing ability through the implementation of drawing. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The result showed that (1) the implementation makes students actively involved in the learning process (2) the implementation of collage drawing could improve the ability of beginning writing for students with an intellectual disability in the 2nd Grade SDLBTujuan dari penelitian ini mendiskripsikan : mendeskripsikan efek menggambar kolase dalam meningkatan kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa tunagrahita. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas II SDLB Muhammadiyah Jombang, Jatim. Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan menggambar kolase membuat siswa berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran, serta dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa tunagrahita.

Abstract

High order thinking (HOT) -based learning in Early Childhood Education Institution (ECEI) could improve six aspects of preschool-aged children’s development. The preliminary study revealed that the ECE teachers' knowledge of preschool-aged children was low. This surprising phenomenon was caused by teachers' lack of knowledge and minimum training for improving the teachers' competency. Thus, we conducted a study by holding training on the improvement of teacher's competency in HOT-based learning. The present study involved sixty participants comprising Kindergarten and elementary school teachers in Kota Selong, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The present study was aimed at measuring the effect of teacher's competency development training on the improvement of HOT-based learning activities in Kota Selong, East Lombok Regency. The result of the study indicated that the t-count (8.257) > t-table (7.745), meaning that the teacher's competency improvement training significantly affects the improvement of HOTS on both knowledge and implementation of Kindergarten teachers in Kota Selong.

Abstract

The research objective was to find out (1) the implementation of teacher learning in the application to enhance creativity through decorating activities using sequin collage techniques, (2) increasing creativity through decorating activities using sequin collage techniques. Data is collected by observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner about child and teacher activities, interviews, field notes and documents and quantitatively about improving children's creativity. Abstract

Abstract: Study of picture’s theme and object in elementary schools’ children. Purpose of the research was to describe a diversity of picture’s theme and object in elementary schools’ children. The research subjects were document of East Java elementary schools’ children picture results. Analysis methods were content analysis approach qualitative descriptive and artship study analysis. Research results showed: (1) the diversity of picture’s themes and picture’s title were relevant to picturing imagination ideas/ thought into picture form consistent to creativitity of every child. Picture themes diversity were: My Self, Playing, Animal, Activities/Hobby, Scenary, Public places or objects, Art, Exhibition Art, Place or environmental Condition, Events, Religiousity, Sport, Imaginative, and Poster. (2) the objects that dominated children’s picture were plantation, building, animal, human, vehicle, instruments, game, natural object, imaginative figure. Keywords: study of theme, picture’ object, child, elementary schoolAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan, keragaman tema dan obyek gambar anak-anak SD. Subyek penelitian dokumen karya gambar anak-anak SD di Jawa Timur. Analisis menggunakan pendekatan content analysis deskriftip kualitatif dan analisis kajian kesenirupaan. Hasil penelitian: (1) keragaman tema dan judul gambar anak berkaitan dengan penggambaran suatu ide/gagasan ke dalam bentuk gambar sesuai gaya kreatifitas setiap anak. Keragaman tema gambar yaitu: Diriku, Bermain, Binatang, Kegiaatan/Hobby, Pemandangan, Tempat atau Obyek Publik, Kesenian, Seni Pertunjukkan, Suasana Tempat/Lingkungan, Peristiwa, Keagamaan, Olahraga, Imajinatif, dan Poster; (2) obyek yang mendominasi karya gambar anak sangat beragam, di antaranya tumbuhan, bangunan, binatang, manusia, kendaraan, peralatan, mainan, obyek alam, tokoh imajinatif. Abstract

Abstract: Esthetic and typology of elementary children’s picture. The purpose of this research was to describe: (1) the diversity of theme, title, form/  object of children’s picture, (2) Period of children’s drawing, (3) Typology  and impression of children’ drawing space, (4) Visualization of children’s picture components, (5) picture media and art technique in the children’s picture. The design of the research was descriptive  qualitative. The subjects were 2009-2011 children’s pictures in East Java Province. Research result showed:  (1) the diversity of themes  and pictures’ title was a representation form  of  creative thinking, uniqueness  representation, effective, and variety impression among pictures. (2) Most of esthetic of typology, style and picture space impression  can be typed visual and a few can be   seen haptic. (3) A visual component of  Line, color, form, field, and texture were more dominant, while space and light components were not always appear in every children’s picture. (4) the diversity of the picture media were: pencil, color pencil, crayon, little marker, big marker, water verf, and ballpoint.Abstrak: penelitian ini tujuannya mendeskripsikan: (1) keragaman tema, judul, bentuk/obyek gambar anak, (2) periodisasi menggambar anak, (3) tipologi dan kesan ruang gambar anak, (4) visualisasi unsur rupa gambar anak-anak, (5) media rupa dan teknik seni pada gambar anak. Rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, subyeknya gambar anak SD di Jawa Timur tahun 2009-2011. Analisis kesenirupaan berupa penyajihan data dalam paparan deskriptif estetika dan tipologi gambar anak. Hasil penelitian: (1) keragaman tema, judul gambar adalah wujud representasi gagasan kreatif, keunikan, ekspresi dari pengalaman, realitas, imajinatif yang bermakna budaya dan lainnya. Gambar anak memiliki nilai estetis spesifik, menarik, dinamis, lugas, dan tidak sama kesannya antara satu gambar dengan gambar lainnya. (2) Estetika tipologi, gaya, dan kesan ruang gambar umumnya bertipe Visual, dan sedikit bertipe Haptic. (3) Unsur visual garis, warna, bentuk/bangun, bidang, dan tekstur lebih dominan, sedangkan unsur ruang dan cahaya tidak selalu tampak pada setiap karya gambar anak. (4) Keragaman media rupa yaitu: pensil, pensil warna, crayon, spidol kecil, spidol besar, water verf, dan bollpoint.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang tepat di TK  dapat mengembangkan berbagai kemampuan anak  dengan baik, tetapi sebaliknya apabila penggunaan media kurang menarik bagi anak, anak akan cepat bosan dan tidak tertarik lagi dengan pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran model-model boneka yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa ekspresif anak dalam bercerita sesuai dengan jenis tema kegiatan yang ada di TK.. Penelitian ini merupakan peneliitan pengembangan yang mengadopsi tahapan pengembangan dari Borg and Gall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk media yang dikembangkan mudah digunakan siswa dan memiliki tingkat kemenarikan yang tinggi.Abstract: The use of appropriate learning media in kindergarten can develop a variety of children's abilities well, but conversely, if the use of media is less attractive to children, children will quickly get bored and are no longer interested in learning provided by the teacher. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media for doll models that can be used to develop children's expressive language skills in storytelling in accordance with the types of theme activities that exist in kindergarten. This research is a research development that adopts the development stages of Borg and Gall. The results showed that the developed media products were easy for students to use and had a high level of attractiveness.
