Abstract

Pining Forest Pining District is one of the Leuser ecosystem areas. High population activities such as illegal logging, forest conversion, and hunting of wild animals, and land clearing by burning forests in the Pining forest area Pining District will impact on bird diversity. Observing data was carried out in August 2019. The purpose of this study  was to determine the level of bird diversity in the Pining forest area of Gayo Lues Regency. The method used in this study is the direct observation method combined with line transect. The results of research conducted in the Pining Forest found 30 species of birds consisting of 21 families. Identification of bird spescies found in the Pining Forest of Gayo Lues Regency with the most species of bird families, namely from the families of Estrildidae and Rhipiduridae, each of which were 3 bird species. Bird Diversity in Pining Forest Gayo Lues District in the Leuser Ecosystem is classified as high (Ĥ = 3.0455) in primary forests, while (Ĥ = 2,434) in secondary forest habitat.Keywords: Species Diversity, Birds, Pining Forest. Hutan Pining Kecamatan Pining adalah salah satu kawasan ekosistem Leuser. Tingginya aktivitas penduduk seperti alih fungsi hutan, penebangan liar, dan perburuan satwa liar, dan  pembukaan lahan dengan cara membakar hutan di kawasan hutan Pining Kecamatan Pining akan berimbas terhadap keanekaragaman burung. Pengamatan data telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2019. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman burung di kawasan Hutan Pining Kabupaten Gayo Lues. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi langsung (direct observation) dikombinasikan dengan line transect. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di Hutan Pining didapatkan 30 spesies burung yang terdiri dari 21 famili. Identifikasi jenis burung yang ditemukan di Hutan Pining Kabupaten Gayo Lues dengan famili spesies burung terbanyak yaitu dari famili Estrildidae dan Rhipiduridae yang masing-masing sebanyak 3 spesies burung.Keanekaragaman Burung di Hutan Pining Kabupaten Gayo Lues dalam Kawasan Ekosistem Leuser tergolong tinggi (Ĥ= 3.0455) pada hutan primer, sedang (Ĥ= 2,434) pada habitat hutan sekunder.Kata kunci: Keanekaragaman Spesies, Burung, Hutan Pining.

Abstract

Research entitled "Bird Species Diversity in Glumpang Tiga District, Pidie District". The purpose of this study was to determine the level of diversity of bird species. The method used is the line transet method (line transect), which is a method of observation by walking slowly continuously and recording all contacts along both sides of the travel path. The parameters used are bird species and bird diversity index in Glumpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency. Data analysis used Shannon Weaver diversity index formula, analyzed descriptively and displayed in tables and graphs. The results of the study there are 25 species of birds from 15 families. The level of diversity of bird species in three habitats in Glumpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency is classified as moderate with diversity index H` = 2.9745. The species that predominate in residential habitats are Passer montanus, in Nectaria jugularis and in Hirundo tahitica forest habitats. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that the level of diversity of bird species found in Glumpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency is included in the medium category. Keywords: Bird diversity, species, habitat type. Penelitian berjudul “Keanekaragaman Jenis Burung di Kecamatan Glumpang Tiga, Kabupaten Pidie”. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman spesies burung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode garis transet (line transect) yaitu pengamatan yang dilakukan dengan cara berjalan perlahan terus menerus dan mencatat semua kontak disepanjang kedua sisi jalur perjalanan. Parameter yang digunakan yaitu jenis burung dan indeks keanekaragamananburung di Kecamatan Glumpang Tiga, Kabupaten Pidie. Analisi data digunakan rumus indeks keanekaragaman  Shannon Weaver, dianalisis secara deskriptif dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Hasil penelitian terdapat 25 spesies burung dari 15 famili. Tingkat keanekaragaman jenis burung yang berada pada tiga habitat di Kecamatan Glumpang Tiga Kabupaten Pidie tergolong sedang dengan indeks keanekaragaman H`= 2,9745. Jenis yang mendominasi pada habitat pemukiman adalah Passer montanus, pada habitat pemukiman Nectaria jugularis dan pada habitat hutan Hirundo tahitica. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat di simpulkan bahwa Tingkat keanekaragaman spesies burung yang terdapat di Kecamatan Glumpang Tiga, Kabupaten Pidie termaksuk dalam katagori sedang.  Kata kunci: Keanekaragaman burung, jenis-jenis, tipe habitat.

Abstract

Keywords: Discovery Learning, Video Media, Learning Outcomes.         Learners at SMP N 1 Blangjerango that so far in the process of teaching and learning biology, especially the respiration system material still uses conventional learning models, namely the learning process that rarely uses learning media to explain abstract respiration material so that it is difficult to understand and ultimately the learning outcomes do not reach KKM. The purpose of this study, to determine the use of video media through the Discovery Learning model on the respiration system material that can improve the learning outcomes of students of Blangjerango Junior High School 1. The approaches that can be used in this research are quantitative, experimental type and pretest-posttest control group design. Abstract

Scientific studies on buffalo feed preferences (Bubalus bubalis Linn.) Are still lacking. Feed preference is the degree of preference for certain types of feed chosen by animals. This study aims to identify the types of feed plants consumed by buffalo, and to determine the level of buffalo feed preferences in the grazing area, Bukit District, Bener Meriah Regency. Collection of preference data is done by exploratory method and data collection is done by field survey. The research location is divided into three stations. Station I (grasslands), Station II (shrubs), and Station III (forest habitat). Feed preferences were analyzed using the Predation Index (IP) formula. Based on the results of the study found 23 species of feed plants that are included in 11 families. Species of plants that have a high level of preference are Eleusine indica (1.21), Axonopus compressus (1.19), and Sporobulus indicus (1.18) and forage plants that have low preferences, namely Musa paradisiaca (0.67), Sida rhombifolia (0.75), and Clinacanthus nutans (0.79).Keywords: Preferences, Types of Feed Plants, BuffaloKajian ilmiah tentang preferensi pakan kerbau (Bubalus bubalis Linn.) masih kurang dilakukan. Preferensii pakan adalah derajat kesukaan terhadap jenis pakan tertentui yangi dipilih hewan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis tumbuhan pakan yang dikonsumsi oleh kerbau, dan mengetahui tingkat preferensi pakan kerbau di kawasan penggembalaan, Kecamatan Bukit, Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Pengumpulan data preferensi dilakukan dengan metode jelajah (eksploratif) dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara survei lapangan. Lokasi penelitian terbagi menjadi tiga stasiun. Stasiun I (padang rumput), Stasiun II (semak belukar), dan Stasiun III (habitat hutan). Preferensi pakan dianalisis menggunakan rumus Indeks Pemangsaan (IP). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 23 jenis tumbuhan pakan yang termasuk kedalam 11 familia. Jenis tumbuhan pakan yang memiliki tingkat preferensi tinggi yaitu Eleusine indica (1,21), Axonopus compressus (1,19), dan Sporobulus indicus (1,18) dan tumbuhan pakan yang memiliki preferensi rendah yaitu Musa paradisiaca (0,67), Sida rhombifolia (0,75), dan Clinacanthus nutans (0,79).Kata Kunci: Preferensi, Jenis Tumbuhan Pakan, Kerbau

Abstract

Research on Identification of Diurnal Insect in Kampung Padang Plantation, Terangun Subdistrict, Gayo lues Regency was conducted in March to April 2019. This study aims (1) to find out the diurnal insect species found in Kampung Padang Plantation, Terangun Subdistrict, Gayo Lues Regency (2) to find out description of diurnal insect species found in the Kampung Padang Plantation, Terangun District, Gayo Lues Regency. (3) to determine the percentage of insect species present in the Kampung Padang Plantation, Terangun District, Gayo Lues Regency. This type of research is descriptive research. The research method used is exploring. The research location is divided into three observation stations. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study (1) found 12 species of diurnal insects in the Padang village plantation Terangun sub-district Gayo Lues (2) insect species found originating from the order Lepidoptera (18 species), Coleoptera (35 species), Orthoptera (31 species), Hemiptera (25 species) species), Odoata (7 species), Diptera (18 species), and Hymenoptera (9 species) and (3) Insecta species with the highest level of attendance, originating from the Orthoptera and Coleoptera orders, while the least insect species originating from the Odonata order and Hymenoptera. The conclusion is that there are 12 species of diurnal insects consisting of 7 orders, and 12 families.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the actions of people who have been exposed to conflicts with communities that have never been exposed to the conflict between the Crocodile and Crocodile shaft with humans. The study was conducted in August 2019. This type of research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Data collection by questionnaire and interview. Data analysis with Chi-squared. Respondents in this study are people who have been exposed to conflicts and who have never been exposed to estuarine crocodile conflicts with humans. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in community actions that have experienced conflicts with those who have never experienced estuarine crocodile conflicts with humans and there are no differences in community actions that have been affected by human-crocodile conflicts in Aceh Singkil Regency in terms of education, sex and ethnicity. The conclusions are (1) There are differences in the actions of the people who have been affected by conflict with those who have never been affected by a crocodile-human conflict in Aceh Singkil District (2) There is no difference in the actions of the people who have been affected by a human-crocodile conflict in Aceh Singkil Regency based on the type of education , gender and ethnicity.Keywords: Action, Conflict, Estuary Crocodile Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuii perbedaan tindakan masyarakat yang pernah terkena konflik dengan masyarakat yang tidak pernah terkena konflik Buaya Muara (Crocodylus porosus) dengan Manusia. Penelitian dilakukan di bulan Agustus 2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan angket dan wawancara. Analisis data dengan Chi-kuadrat. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang pernah terkena konflik dan yang tidak pernah terkena konflik buaya muara dengan manusia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tindakan masyarakat yang pernah mengalami konflik dengan yang tidak pernah mengalami konflik buaya muara dengan manusia dan Tidak terdapat perbedaan tindakan  masyarakat yang pernah terkena konflik buaya-manusia di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil ditinjau berdasarkan jenis pendidikan, jenis kelamin dan suku. Kesimpulannya adalah (1) Terdapat perbedaan tindakan masyarakat yang pernah terkena konflik dengan masyarakat yang tidak pernah terkena konflik buaya-manusia di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil (2) Tidak terdapat perbedaan tindakan  masyarakat yang pernah terkena konflik buaya-manusia di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil ditinjau berdasarkan jenis pendidikan, jenis kelamin dan suku.Kata Kunci: Tindakan, Konflik, Buaya Muara

Abstract

Research entitled "Diversity of bird species in paddy habitat in Alus-alus of Simeulue Regency". The purpose of this study was to study the types and levels of variation of bird species in their paddy habitat and dominance. The method applied in this study is the IPA (Point Abundance Index) method, which is by collecting the types of birds found in each observation area. The parameters examined in this study are the types of birds, the index of variation and the dominant bird species in paddy habitat in Alus-alus Village, Simeulue Regency. Analysis of the data in this study using the Shannon-Weaver collection index formula, analyzed in full and explained with tables and graphs. The results of this study are approximately 22 species of birds from 16 families. The level of variation of bird species found in paddy habitat in the Alus-alus Village Region of Simeulue Regency is classified as moderate with its diversity index being H '= 2.9492. The types of birds that dominate in the habitat of paddy are Lonchura maja birds. The conclusion in this study is the index in the habitat of paddy fields with H '= 2.3542. The type of bird that denies in the paddy habitat that was moved by the Lonchura maja bird. Keywords: Bird diversity, species, habitat.Penelitian yang berjudul “Keanekaragaman Jenis-jenis burung pada habitat persawahan di Kawasan Desa Alus-alus Kabupaten Simeulue”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari jenis-jenis dan tingkat variasi jenis burung di habitat persawahan dan dominansinya. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode IPA (Indeks Point Abundance), ialah dengan melakukan pendataan jenis-jenis burung yang dijumpai pada setiap kawasan pengamatan. Parameter yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini ialah jenis-jenis burung, Indeks variasi dan jenis burung dominan di habitat persawahan di Desa Alus-alus, Kabupaten Simeulue. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan rumus indeks koleksi Shannon-Weaver, dianalisis secara lengkap dan diterangkan dengan bentuk tabel dan grafik. Hasil penelitian ini ialah kira-kira 22 jenis burung dari 16 famili. Tingkat variasi jenis burung yang terdapat di habitat persawahan di Kawasan Desa Alus-alus Kabupaten Simeulue tergolong sedang dengan indeks keanekaragamannya adalah H '= 2,9492. Jenis-jenis burung yang mendominansi di habitat Persawahan ialah burung Lonchura maja. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah indeks pada habitat Persawahan dengan H '= 2.3542. Jenis burung yang membantah di habitat Persawahan yang dipindahkan oleh burung Lonchura maja. Kata Kunci: Keanekaragaman burung, jenis-jenis, habitat

Abstract

A study on Bamboo Ethnobotany has been conducted at Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar on June 10, 2010 to June 20, 2010. The aims of this study are to determine the types of bamboo and its utilization at Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar. The method used is observation. The data analyzed in this study were descriptive and displayed in figures and tables form. The parameters observed were the types of bamboo plants and its utilization by the people of Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar. The results showed that there were 6 types of bamboo at Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar, namely Bambusa arundinacea and Dendrocalamus asper, as their use for making household furniture and other building materials. The type of Bambusa vulgaris used from its bamboo shoots as a treatment for hepatitis. Types of Bambusa ventricosa and Dracaena surculosa are used as ornamental plants and home gardening plants. Type of Scizostachyum branchycladum which is used for making lemang. There are four genera namely Bambusa, Dendrocalamus, Scizotachyum, and Dracaena. The dominant type of bamboo that grows in the Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar is the Bambusa arundinacea type.

Abstract

This research was conducted from April 2020 to October 2020 entitled "Diversity of Tree Species at Syiah Kuala University". The data collection technique was performed through a survey of 21 observation plots including faculties, office units, worship facilities, health facilities and other supporting facilities. The data analysis includes the Important Value (NP) and Species Diversity Index (H'). The results showed that the species composition of trees growing on the campus of Syiah Kuala University were 46 species belonging to 27 families. Six tree species that had relatively high importance value compared to others, namely Pterocarpus indicus (19.61%), Swietenia mahagoni (19.56%), Polyathia longifolia (12.76%), Mimusops elengi (12.48%), Roystonia regia (12.27%), and Samanea saman (10.176%). The Diversity Index (H') of those tree species ranged from 1.549 to 2.634. The conclusion is that the tree species composition was relatively limited when compared to the Cronquist classification, and the tree species diversity index was in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of problem-based learning models combined with animation media that can improve students' learning science process skills. The method used in this research is an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted at two senior high schools in North Aceh Regency, Aceh, Indonesia. The study was conducted in the even semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The research sample was taken by random sampling of 102 students, namely the experimental group 51 and the control group 51. The parameter measured in the study was the students' science process skills. The data of science process skills were analyzed by parametric statistical test independent sample t-test. The results showed that there was an increase in science process skills after being taught using a problem-based learning model combined with animation media. The conclusion of this study is that the application of problem-based learning models combined with animation media can improve students' science process skills on the sensory system material at SMAN 1 Meurah Mulia and SMAN 1 Tanah Pasir.
