Abstract

The study of bearing capacity and buckling behavior of reinforced foamed concrete column under compressive load.The aim of this research is for knowing the bearing capacity and buckling behavior of reinforced foamed concrete column. This research can be used as the base for precast column of reinforced foamed concrete in non engineered building.The samples for the reinforced foamed concrete column have, w/c : 0.5 ; SG: 1.2, and 0.5% in weight percentage . the control sample is a 15x30 cm cylinder. The column is 200 cm inheight.RFC2510 with cross section 25 x 25 has 4?10 mm main bars, and ?8-100 for stirrups. RFC3010 with cross section 30 x 30 has 4?10 mm main bars, and ?8-100 for stirrups. RFC3012 with cross section 30 x 30 has 4?12 mm main bars, and ?8-100 for stirrups. RFC2510-75 with cross section 25 x 25 has 4?10 mm main bars, and ?8-75 for stirrups.The type of load given is the axial load. In this research the average compressive strength is (f’c) 100.038 kg/cm2, the modulus of elasticity (Ec) is 29793.069 kg/cm2, and the average tensile strength (ft) is 9.572 kg/cm2.The capacity of axial load for each column RFC2510, RFC3010, RFC3012, RFC2510-75, is 49.990ton, 70.310 ton, 58.570 ton, and 51.910 ton respectively. The increase of axial load capacity is influenced by dimension and the distance of stirrups in the column sample. However in this research the using of the bigger bar diameter does not influence the axial load to the column sample. The ratio from the lab test to the theory one is less than 1. The suitable factor reduction for reinforced foamed concrete is 0.61

Abstract

Hutan Geumpang merupakan salah satu kawasan hutan lindung yang berada di Kabupaten Pidie jugatidak luput dari praktek illegal loging, baik yang dilakukan secara sembunyi-sembunyi maupunsecara terang-terangan oleh berbagai oknum, sehingga kelestarian hutan wilayah tersebut terusteramcam keberadaannya Petua Uteun (Pawang Hutan) dan polisi hutan merupakan salah satumemiliki otoritas hukum dalam mengatur tatanan kehidupan sosial kemasyarakatan. Peran dankiprahnya yang besar menjadi mobilisator yang mampu mengendalikan illega logging dan pelestarianhutan diwilayah hutan di pedalaman Kecamatan Geumpang Pidie. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui bagaimana peran lembaga adat uteun (panglima hutan) dan Polisi hutan dalampelestarian hutan di Kecamatan Geumpang Kabupaten pidie. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan diKecamatan Geumpang Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif yaitu teknikwawancara (deeply interview), observasi (direct observation) dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa peranan Peutuah uteun dan polisi hutan dalam pelestarian hutan belum maksimalkarena kurangnya kedasadaran dari masyarakat dan juga kerjasama dari pihak pemerintah setempatdalam mengupaya pelestarian hutan. Upaya peningkatan pelestarian hutan melalui peranan PeutuaUteun dan polisi hutan dengan merangkul dan bermitra dengan masyarakat dalam melaksanakanpengelolaan hutan sehingga kelestarian hutan menjadi meningkat. Hasil observasi hutan di wilayahGeumpang sudah tergolong baik, terlihat dari wilayah permukiman masih terdapat hutan lindung yangsangat alami. Dari pengamatan tersebut tidak terdapat illegal logging dari perusahaan atau HPH diwilayah Geumpang. Keberadaan Peutua Uteun (panglima hutan) dan polisi hutan merupakan salahsatu ujung tombak dalam menjaga kelestarian hutan.

Abstract

The STEM-based learning process spurs the creativity of students in knowledge, skills and others. Students' science process skills are very supportive in improving the quality of education to solve problems in everyday life. This study aims to determine the suitability of the learning process by pre-service teachers with the learning planning stages, students' science process skills and the correlation between the learning process and science process skills. This research is quantitative and qualitative through descriptive research. The results showed that the value of the results of observations on the learning process by the pre-service teacher was in the good category. The value of students' science process skills is in the sufficient category. There is a correlation between the STEM-based learning process and students' science process skills, which means that the STEM-based learning process affects students' science process skills even though it is small. The conclusion in this study is that the STEM-based learning process on science process skills has a positive relationship to the quality of student learning

Abstract

Abstrak Pandemi Covid 19 pada tahun 2020 dan 2021 telah turut mempengaruhi triple constraints dalam pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi gedung di Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi triple constraints pada proyek konstruksi gedung di Provinsi Aceh dalam masa pandemi Covid 19. Proyek konstruksi gedung yang ditinjau adalah proyek yang telah selesai dibangun oleh perusahaan kontraktor di Provinsi Aceh, dengan menggunakan sumber dana dari Anggaran Pendapatan Belanja Aceh (APBA) tahun 2020 dan 2021 dan mempunyai nilai kontrak lebih dari 1 miliar rupiah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif melalui kuesioner. Teknik analisis data digunakan statistik deskriptif dan Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi triple constraints pada proyek konstruksi gedung di Provinsi Aceh dalam masa pandemi Covid 19 yaitu faktor eksternal, tenaga kerja, keuangan, dan kontrak dengan total varian (persentase triple constraints) sebesar 66,596% dan faktor dominannya adalah faktor eksternal dengan varian sebesar 31,478%. Kata kunci: Triple constraintsi, Covid 19, PCA  Abstract The Covid19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021 has also affected triple constraints in the implementation of building construction projects in Aceh Province. This study aims to determine the dominant factors and factors that affect triple constraints on building construction projects in Aceh Province during the Covid 19 pandemic. The building construction projects reviewed are projects that have been completed by a contractor company in Aceh Province, using funding sources from the Aceh Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBA) for 2020 and 2021 and have a contract value of more than 1 billion rupiah. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The results showed that the factors that influenced the triple constraints on building construction projects in Aceh Province during the Covid 19 pandemic were external factors, labor, finance, and contracts with a total variance (percentage of triple constraints) of 66,596 % and the dominant factor was external factors with a variance of 31.478%. Keywords: Triple constraints, Covid19, PCA

Abstract

The teaching and learning activities at grade 10th SMA Negeri 1 Krueng Barona Jaya and SMAN 1 Peukan Bada Aceh Besar, it can be seen that the learning motivation of students is still lacking to learn. The learning motivation of students has not been maXmized because students still feel the learning conditions that provide opportunities for students to make assumptions and carry out an experiment to obtain their own knowledge. This condition causes students to only refer to conventional modules which contain material only. This study aims to analyze the differences in the learning motivation of students in the experimental class and the control class on environmental pollution material in class grade 10th  SMAN Aceh Besar. The approach used in this research is quantitative, the type of research is applied research, a quasi-experimental method, with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The research sample was 105 students. The research procedure was to provide a pre-test, a web-based electronic module treatment combined with PBL in the experimental class and conventional methods in the control class, and post-test. The instrument used is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity, reliability test. Data analysis used independent t-test with prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity test. The results showed that there were differences in the learning motivation of students in the experimental class and the control class on environmental pollution concept in class X SMAN Aceh Besar. The learning motivation taught by web-based electronic modules combined with PBL is better than conventional methods.

Abstract

Implementation of learning in class 11th MAN 1 and MAN 2 Banda Aceh City Students only get information without going through discussion activities, students who are not brave enough to express ideas or ideas, so that students are not trained in using their critical thinking skills. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills through the application of the STEM-based discovery learning model to the motion system concept. The research approach used is quantitative with the type of pre-experimental research. The research design used is the one-group pretest-postest design. The population was all of 11th grade students, amounting to 292 people. The sampling technique used was a total sampling. The sample in this study consisted of 292 students. The instruments in this research were pretest and posttest multiple choice questions with reasoned. Data analysis consisted of normality test, paired sample t-test at a significant level of 0.05 and n-gain. The results of the paired sample t-test obtained tcount 48 and value (ρ.001), so it was concluded that there were differences in critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of students before and after learning with the application of the STEM-based discovery learning model to the motion system concept. The results of the n-gain test using the Meltzer formula showed that the gain in critical thinking skills was 0.85, so there was an increase in critical thinking skills with a high category.

Abstract

Hymenopteran parasitoids are biological control agents that contribute mortality to economically important pest of oil palm plantations. In this research we investigated the diversity and abundance of Hymenopteran parasitoids at PT. Mopoli Raya, Aceh Province, Indonesia. Data were collected by adopted a purposive sampling method in mature and immature plantations by using light trap, malaise trap, and yellow-pan trap.  Specimens were identified at Universitas Syiah Kuala and final taxonomic confirmation was conducted at Gadjah Mada University.  We found that the species richness and evenness of the Hymenoptera parasitoid species in mature oil palm plantations tended to be higher than in immature plantations.  It is suspected that in immature oil palm plants (4 years) synthetic pesticide application is more intensive and it has a negative impact on the presence of parasitoids compared to the mature.

Abstract

Sambungan antara balok dan kolom merupakan bagian penting dari ketahanan gempa karena mengalami momen geser yang besar yang dapat merusak atau menghancurkan struktur bangunan. Oleh karena itu, struktur harus dipertimbangkan dan diperbaiki dengan cara yang sesuai. Salah satu alternatif yang digunakan untuk perbaikan adalah penerapan teknologi ferosemen. Ferosemen merupakan beton bertulang tipis yang menggunakan kawat jala (wiremesh) sebagai tulangan utama dengan mortar semen hidrolis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku sambungan balok-kolom yang direncanakan menurut PBI 1971 pada pembebanan siklik setelah restorasi dengan teknik ferrosemen. Objek penelitian ini merupakan joint balok kolom standar PBI 1971 dimana pada bagian joint tidak memiliki tulangan sengkang (tulangan geser). Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Konstruksi dan Bahan Bangunan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian ini menggunakan benda uji berbentuk joint balok-kolom dengan ukuran balok 30 × 40 × 120 cm dan kolom 30 × 30 × 200 cm. Perbaikan dilakukan dengan cara menempatkan pelat ferosemen pada joint tersebut. Pengujian dilakukan dengan pembebanan siklik secara tekan dan tarik dengan arah lateral terhadap balok. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penambahan ferosemen pada daerah joint balok-kolom PBI 1971 didapatkan beban tekan maksimum sebesar 7,74 tf dan beban tarik maksimum sebesar 7,28 tf dan faktor daktilitas didapat sebesar 4,66.

Abstract

Research on student readiness for entrepreneurship is very important to understand how to enter the business world better. This study aims to describe the entrepreneurial readiness of students of the Family Welfare Education Study Program specializing in Culinary Arts at Syiah Kuala University. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The study population was 150, with a sample of 100 students. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. Data collection was done using a questionnaire that was tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed through descriptive analysis using the assessment categorization method based on the average score and percentage assessment. The results concluded that the entrepreneurial readiness of students is in the moderate category. This study shows that the personality, motivation, skills, and knowledge of students are not sufficient to foster entrepreneurial readiness, especially in the Family Welfare Education Study Program specialization in Culinary Arts, Syiah Kuala University. This research will make a new contribution to the academic literature related to student entrepreneurial readiness, especially in the context of the Family Welfare Education Study Program with a concentration in Catering, by enriching our understanding of the factors that influence student readiness to run a business in the culinary field.

Abstract

Honey as a natural product produced by bees, has high health qualities and economic value. There are diverse species of bees known to produce honey with essential nutrients such as vitamin C. Trigona bees (Apidae), also known as Linot (in Acehnese language), are one type of bee that is easy to raise and harmless. This species makes nests in hollows of trees, bamboo trunks, wooden burrows, and even crevices in fences, walls and walls of houses. Generally, farmers use houses for storing bee honey made from simple materials in the form of wood, bamboo. This material was chosen because it is similar to the original habitat of bees and can provide ideal conditions for colonies. In the selection of honey facilities and houses, things that need to be considered are the ability of the material to maintain a stable temperature in the hive (because temperature is very important for colony life), resistance to predators and extreme weather, and ease in maintaining and harvesting honey. This paper aims to explain the use of lightweight concrete as an alternative to honey houses. Lightweight concrete is lightweight concrete, has good thermal insulation properties and is resistant to fire and heat. The installation of the Linot honey house was applied in Ie Seum Village as a beneficiary village for the service activities carried out. It can be seen that linot bees still use honey houses to store their honey and the honey production produced is not much different from other honey houses.
