Abstract

This research aims to evaluate and analyze job characteristics towards job satisfaction through organizational commitment in the Surabaya region's bank employees. This research is quantitative. A sample of 72 respondents with a saturated sample technique through an online questionnaire. Statistical analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS software version 3.0. This study concluded that job characteristics were not significant to job satisfaction. Positive and significant work characteristics of organizational commitment. Positive and significant organizational commitment to job satisfaction. Organizational commitment manages to mediate the relationship between job characteristics and job satisfaction

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of work-family conflict and emotional exhaustion on female nurse performance through organizational commitment in Petrokimia Gresik Hospital. This study is using quantitative methods. The population in this study is 46 respondents. Saturation sampling is the sampling technique used in this study and obtained 46 respondents. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of software SmartPLS is the analysis technique used in this study. The study found that work-family conflict has a significant negative effect on job performance. Work-family conflict has a significant negative effect on organizational commitment. Emotional exhaustion has a significant negative effect on job performance. Emotional exhaustion has a significant negative effect on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on job performance. Work-family conflict has a significant result in job performance through organizational commitment. Emotional exhaustion has a significant result in job performance through organizational commitment.

Abstract

PT Pancapaputra Mitratama Mandiri is an authorized lubricant distributor of PT Shell Indonesia. The company was founded in 2004. The company is a distributor office of Shell Lubricants products for the industrial and transportation scope in the East Java Region. This research purposes to test and explain the impact of job satisfaction on turnover intention through organizational commitment as a mediator variable at PT Pancaputra Mitratama Mandiri. The approach adopted in this study is quantitative, while the sampling technique in this study is saturated sample with the number of all employees of PT Pancaputra Mitratama Mandiri as respondents who were taken part as many as 32 employees. Data on this research were analyzed making use of Partial Least Square (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 3.0. software on the computer. The outcomes further revealed a significant negative relationship between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment on Turnover Intention. The results provide a conclusion that Organizational Commitment mediates the influence of Job Satisfaction on Turnover Intention, the results discover that the Job Satisfaction has an indirect effect that is larger than the direct influence on Turnover Intention.

Abstract

Working in the financial services sector, such as assurance and banking, can be stressful for employees. However, employees who have organizational attachments and coworkers support will reduce turnover. This investigation intends to analyze the impact of coworker support on turnover intention through organizational embeddedness as an intermediary variable at PT. BCA KCP Kapas Krampung Surabaya. The sampling technique used saturated samples with a total of 34 employees. Data were gathered by conducting interviews and spreading questionnaires to employees, then processed using SmartPLS 3.3.3 software tools. The finding proves that coworker support has a significantly positive effect either on organizational embeddedness and turnover intention. Furthermore, organizational embeddedness also holds a significant and negative influence on turnover intention. This result supported the existing theories based on a thorough analysis of the literature.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the effect of teamwork on employee performance through employees' job satisfaction at PT. Jasa Raharja Cabang Jawa Timur. This research is causality research with a quantitative approach. The population in this research is 159 employees. The sample was collected through a random sampling technique and obtained 62 respondents—the statistical analysis using Partial Least Square with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that teamwork has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, teamwork has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Teamwork has no significant influence on employee performance through job satisfaction. Companies can encourage employees to do teamwork by creating teams to complete tasks.

Abstract

This study aims to study the effect of and psychological well-being on job performance through work involvement in bank employees in Surabaya. This study uses a type of causality research that uses quantitative. Sampling technique using accidental sampling. Amount of respondents is 81 bank employees in Surabaya. The statistical analysis in this study is used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of Smart PLS 3.2.9 software. The results showed that Self-esteem was not a significant positive effect on job performance. Self-esteem has a positive and significant effect on work engagement. The psychological well being did not have a positive effect on job performance. Psychological well being has a positive and significant effect on work engagement; work engagement has a positive and significant effect on job performance, has an indirect effect on job performance through work engagement, psychological well being has an indirect effect on job performance through work engagement.

Abstract

Sexual harassment has become a global problem. Previous research has revealed that many negative impacts can be caused and affect the condition of someone who is sexually harassed. This study aimed to investigate the effect of sexual harassment on turnover intention and examine the mediating role of job satisfaction among hotel employees in Surabaya. A total of 32 hotel employees participated through a purposive non-probability sampling technique. This research uses partial least square (PLS) as its statistical analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between sexual harassment with turnover intention. Sexual harassment has a negative effect on job satisfaction, and job satisfaction has a negative effect on turnover intention Results also indicate that job satisfaction plays the mediator role between sexual harassment and turnover intention among Surabaya hotel employees.
