Abstract

Budidaya jagung memerlukan sumberdaya manusia (SDM) petani yang memiliki kompetensi kewirausahaan yaitu petani selain menguasai pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang teknik budidaya dan manajerial juga memiliki kompetensi sebagai seorang petani handal. Petani yang memiliki kompetensi kewirausahaan yang tinggi akan menjadikannya sebagai seorang petani yang kreatif dan inovatif di bidang pertanian. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jumlah nara sumber sebanyak 30 orang petani jagung. Penelitian dilakukan pada Bulan Juni-Agustus Tahun 2017. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa petani jagung di Kabupaten Grobogan memiliki tingkat kompetensi yang sedang, artinya kemampuan dalam teknis budidaya jagung memiliki produktivitas rata-rata 6-7 ton/ha, sudah melakukan diversivifikasi usahatani jagung, memiliki daya kreatifitas yang tinggi dan mampu menangkap peluang usahatani jagung sesuai dengan permintaan pasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan juga bahwa petani jagung di Kabupaten Grobogan memiliki 4 tipe kompetensi kewirausahaan yaitu tipe teknikal, tipe futuristik, tipe manajerial dan tipe universal. Peran Perguruan Tinggi pemberdayaan kapasitas kompetensi kewirausahaan petani jagung dapat dilakukan melalui tiga fase pemberdayaan yaitu fase satu; peningkatan Sumber Daya Manusia, teknologi dan kelembagaan di tingkat kelompok tani, fase kedua; penguatan kelembagaan guna mempersiapkan kemitraan dengan stakeholder lainnya, fase ketiga; penguatan teknologi modern pengolahan hasil dan menumbuhkembangkan kemitraan dengan seluruh stakeholder yang terkait dengan jagung.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, Kewirausahaan, Pemberdayaan, Petani, Grobogan

Abstract

This research aimed to analyse marketing efficiency and marketing strategy of milkfish processing business in Lampung Province. The research was conducted in three milkfish processing businesses in February 2017. The marketing agencies which involved in product marketing are chosen by using snowball method. Data are analyzed using a qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results proved that the marketing system of milkfish processing business in Lampung Province has two cannels.  In the first channel producers sell their products directly to consumers, and in the second channel producers sell their products to consumers through merchants.  Marketing system is not efficient. The marketing strategy of milkfish processing business in Lampung Province in UD Sabily is increasing the use of technology in production process to create more varying and qualified products. ‘Jeng Sri’ creates more varying and qualified products to optimize high business competitiveness. ‘Sedap Lestari’ produces products according to consumers’ demand and utilized the low level of competition in the business environment for market control.Key words: marketing strategy, milkfish, SWOT analysis

Abstract

The aims of this research are to analyze consumer?s preferences, satisfaction, and loyalty of banana and cassava chips at chips agroindustry centers in Bandar Lampung. The agro industries were chosen purposively. There were 70 respondents taken by using accidental sampling. Data were collected in May-June 2018 and analyzed descriptively by using Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and loyalty pyramid method (switcher buyer, habitual buyer, satisfied buyer, liking the brand buyer, and committed buyer). The results of this research showed that the attributes of banana and cassava chips which become the consumers preferences were low prices, good taste, crispy texture, pleasant scent, harder to get, and attractive packaging. The satisfaction levels of the consumers of banana and cassava chips were both classified as satisfying and loyal consumers.Keywords: banana, cassava, chips, consumers, satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the income of fisherman, structure of household income and analyze the welfare level of fishermen households in the Coastal Kota Agung.  The study is conducted by survey method.  The samples are taken by purposive sampling as many as 23 people. The result showed that the income of household owners and crew members was at a level of prosperity. The income of fishermen households was mostly (95.63%) from fishing businesses. Expenditures of the owner's fishermen and crew members were above the poverty line. Based on BPS criteria and poverty line, fishing boat motorbike households <5GT were in a prosperous condition. Key words : expenditures, crew, fisherman, welfare

Abstract

 This study aims were to determine the replanting model used by oil palm farmers, to calculate the replanting cost, to know the opportunity lost  income, and to analyze  the level of welfare of farmers during replanting in Central Lampung Regency.  The sampling technique was a survey.  The study was conducted in three districts, Anak Tuha District, Bangun Rejo District, and Sendang Agung District.  The respondents were 31 oil palm farmers consisting of 6 respondents from Anak Tuha District, 21 respondents from Bangun Rejo District, and 4 respondents from Sendang Agung District.  The data collection was carried out in March-May 2019. The results showed tha the replanting model used by oil palm farmers in Central Lampung Regency was the intercropping model with food crops and the underplanting model.  The costs of replanting during the first 3 years when the palm trees are not productive yet were IDR45,481,990 per hectare on the intercropping model and IDR 48,146,117 per hectare on the underplanting model.  The average value of oil palm opportunity lost income the intercropping model with food crops was IDR7,672,043 per hectare.  The average household income of oil palm farmers was IDR19,489,145 per year.  The level of welfare of farmers during replanting in Central Lampung Regency in general is in a fairly decent condition. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the income and welfare levels of of pepper farmers in Melinting Sub- District, East Lampung Regency. The location of the research is chosen purposively. The number of respondents in this reasearch is 43 farmers who are selected using simple random sampling. The methods of analysis used in this research are quantitative method to calculate household income and descriptive qualitative method to determine welfare levels. The results of this research showed that the total income of pepper farming is included in the low category which is IDR1,691,026.16 per month with the contribution of 25.63% towards household income. Based on the criteria of Badan Pusat Statistik in 2014, 100% of pepper farmer households are in the prosperous category, while 20.93% included in the high welfare category based on the subjective welfare indicators.Key words: household, income, pepper, welfare.

Abstract

This study aims were to analyze the cost structure; revenue, production, and price break even point; and the level of income of rice farming. This research was conducted in Banjarsari Village, North Metro Sub District, Metro District. This research used survey method. The data were taken in April-May 2021. The sample were all members of the Tunas Karya Mandiri Farmer Group amounting to thirty-two farmers. Methods of data analysis are descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the cost structure of the largest variable cost component lies in the cost of labor outside the family by 44.21% and the largest fixed cost component in the cost of land rent by 30.25% of the total cost. The value of the BEP of rice farming revenue was IDR6,071,490.06/ha, the BEP of rice production was 1,607.03kg/ha and the BEP of GKP (Dry Harvested Grain) was IDR 2,061.73/kg. The BEP value is smaller than the actual value received, namely the revenue of IDR18,951,023.90/ha; rice production was 5,018.52 kg/ha, and the selling price of GKP was set at IDR3,778.85/kg. The total income obtained was IDR7,707,474.91/ha with an R/C of 1.69 so that rice farming was profitable and feasible to continue.Key words: Rice, cost structure, break even point, income

Abstract

Cassava agribusiness has several problems and obstacles that must be overcome completely. So yet, no institutional method of transaction is compatible with and advantageous to all cassava agricultural stakeholders. The objective of this research was to look at the cassava agribusiness partnership model in Lampung and placed study in three districts in Lampung Province, each with its distinctive characteristics: Central Lampung, East Lampung, and West Tulang Bawang. Primary and secondary data were used in the study. In this study, survey methods and in-depth interviews were utilized to obtain data. Qualitative descriptive analysis with an institutional perspective was used to analyze this study. The findings revealed that institutional collaboration in sustainable partnerships between farmer groups associations (Gapoktan), factories with third-party help, and an ICT system could improve the farm, factory, and overall cassava agribusiness performance. Abstract

Isu kemiskinan merupakan masalah penting dalam pembangunan di Indonesia. Beberapa program  pemerintah  belum mampu mengatasi kemiskinan sehingga perlu dirumuskan model pemberdayaan masyarakat miskin yang sesuai dengan keadaan yang sebenarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengindentifikasi tingkat dan penyebab kemiskinan  petani hortikultura serta pola perilaku ekonomi petani dalam menghadapi kemiskinan, 2) mengkaji kinerja usaha ekonomi,  lembaga keuangan dan lembaga sosial  petani hortikultura, dan 3) merumuskan model pemberdayaan petani hortikultura. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja di sentra produksi hortikultura di Kecamatan Gisting, Kabupaten Tanggamus, Propinsi Lampung. Responden dan jumlah responden ditentukan dengan teknik snowball sampling sampai pada taraf redudancy. Metode penelitian adalah metode pengamatan berpartisipasi dengan wawancara mendalam dan diskusi kelompok fokus sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif  serta  SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petani hortikultura masih miskin dan sangat miskin karena lahan sempit dan keterbatasan modal. Sumberdaya manusia petani hortikultura masih rendah dan pola hidup petani hortikultura bersifat konsumtif. Petani hortikultura mengantisipasi kemiskinan dengan diversifikasi pekerjaan dan menjalin hubungan baik dengan sesama.  Lembaga ekonomi dan keuangan masih dikuasai oleh pihak luar petani, sedangkan lembaga sosial petani masih belum banyak berfungsi.  Model pemberdayaan yang dianjurkan untuk petani hortikultura adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani, kemudahan permodalan, pembentukan lembaga pemasaran yang ditentukan oleh pemerintah, pendampingan dan perubahan pola  hidup dan sikap petani.

Abstract

Isu otonomi daerah di Provinsi Lampung adalah kinerja ekonomi maupun keuangan di kabupaten induk dan pemekaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis kinerja ekonomi dan kinerja keuangan daerah serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja ekonomi daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder, dengan analisis deskriptif dan analisis statistik regresi panel data.  Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kinerja ekonomi dan keuangan daerah di kabupaten pemekaran lebih tinggi dibandingkan di kabupaten induk. Indikator penurunan angka kemiskinan adalah indikator yang paling signifikan mendongkrak kinerja ekonomi di kabupaten pemekaran. Kinerja keuangan kabupaten pemekaran yang tinggi dibandingkan kabupaten induk didorong oleh indikator turunnya ketergantungan fiskal, penciptaan pendapatan, proporsi belanja modal, dan kontribusi sektor pemerintah. Kinerja ekonomi daerah dipengaruhi oleh pangsa pertanian, ukuran wilayah, pendidikan, kesehatan, transfer pemerintah pusat, belanja pemerintah daerah.
