Abstract

Budidaya jagung memerlukan sumberdaya manusia (SDM) petani yang memiliki kompetensi kewirausahaan yaitu petani selain menguasai pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang teknik budidaya dan manajerial juga memiliki kompetensi sebagai seorang petani handal. Petani yang memiliki kompetensi kewirausahaan yang tinggi akan menjadikannya sebagai seorang petani yang kreatif dan inovatif di bidang pertanian. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jumlah nara sumber sebanyak 30 orang petani jagung. Penelitian dilakukan pada Bulan Juni-Agustus Tahun 2017. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa petani jagung di Kabupaten Grobogan memiliki tingkat kompetensi yang sedang, artinya kemampuan dalam teknis budidaya jagung memiliki produktivitas rata-rata 6-7 ton/ha, sudah melakukan diversivifikasi usahatani jagung, memiliki daya kreatifitas yang tinggi dan mampu menangkap peluang usahatani jagung sesuai dengan permintaan pasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan juga bahwa petani jagung di Kabupaten Grobogan memiliki 4 tipe kompetensi kewirausahaan yaitu tipe teknikal, tipe futuristik, tipe manajerial dan tipe universal. Peran Perguruan Tinggi pemberdayaan kapasitas kompetensi kewirausahaan petani jagung dapat dilakukan melalui tiga fase pemberdayaan yaitu fase satu; peningkatan Sumber Daya Manusia, teknologi dan kelembagaan di tingkat kelompok tani, fase kedua; penguatan kelembagaan guna mempersiapkan kemitraan dengan stakeholder lainnya, fase ketiga; penguatan teknologi modern pengolahan hasil dan menumbuhkembangkan kemitraan dengan seluruh stakeholder yang terkait dengan jagung.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, Kewirausahaan, Pemberdayaan, Petani, Grobogan

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the consumers’ characteristics, attitudes and satisfaction toward the attributes of “pecel lele” and the level of consumer’s satisfaction on the restaurant services.  This research was conducted at two restaurants, namely MP Asli Hang Dihi and Ibu Safei, in Bandar Lampung City.  The data was  collected in January-March 2016 by a survey method and involving 60 respondents.  The data of consumers’ attitudes was analyzed by Fishbein Multiatribute, whereas the level of consumers’ satisfaction was calculated by Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).  The result showed that consumers of both restaurants were 17-21 years old, most ot them were students of Bachelor (S1) and had monthly income or allowance from their parents ranging from Rp300,000 to Rp700,000 (at MP Asli Hang Dihi) and from Rp800,000 to Rp1,500,000 (at Ibu Safei).  The score of consumers’ attitudes toward”pecel lele” at Ibu Safei was 40.9, while at MP Hang Dihi was 37.9. The level of consumer satisfaction index toward the restaurant services of Ibu Safei was 71.52 percent and of MP Hang Dihi was 70.50 percent.  The highest score of among all attitudes and services were given to the taste.   Key words: attitudes, consumer, pecel lele, satisfaction, taste

Abstract

This research aimed to analyse marketing efficiency and marketing strategy of milkfish processing business in Lampung Province. The research was conducted in three milkfish processing businesses in February 2017. The marketing agencies which involved in product marketing are chosen by using snowball method. Data are analyzed using a qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results proved that the marketing system of milkfish processing business in Lampung Province has two cannels.  In the first channel producers sell their products directly to consumers, and in the second channel producers sell their products to consumers through merchants.  Marketing system is not efficient. The marketing strategy of milkfish processing business in Lampung Province in UD Sabily is increasing the use of technology in production process to create more varying and qualified products. ‘Jeng Sri’ creates more varying and qualified products to optimize high business competitiveness. ‘Sedap Lestari’ produces products according to consumers’ demand and utilized the low level of competition in the business environment for market control.Key words: marketing strategy, milkfish, SWOT analysis

Abstract

The aims of this research are to analyze consumer?s preferences, satisfaction, and loyalty of banana and cassava chips at chips agroindustry centers in Bandar Lampung. The agro industries were chosen purposively. There were 70 respondents taken by using accidental sampling. Data were collected in May-June 2018 and analyzed descriptively by using Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and loyalty pyramid method (switcher buyer, habitual buyer, satisfied buyer, liking the brand buyer, and committed buyer). The results of this research showed that the attributes of banana and cassava chips which become the consumers preferences were low prices, good taste, crispy texture, pleasant scent, harder to get, and attractive packaging. The satisfaction levels of the consumers of banana and cassava chips were both classified as satisfying and loyal consumers.Keywords: banana, cassava, chips, consumers, satisfaction

Abstract

This resarch aims to analyse income and house hold welfare of Etawa goat milk farmers in Sungai Langka Village, Gedong Tataan of Pesawaran District. The location was chosen purposively by the consideration that most farmers are Etawa goat. Primary and secondary data were collected in May - August 2018. Data are analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analyses. The research results showed that Etawa goat milk farming provided monthly income of Rp1,283,800.00. The farming is profitable with the R / C value of 3.17 over cash cost and 1.28 over total cost. Farmers’ welfare is included in prosperous category.Key words :Etawa goat, farmers, income, milk

Abstract

This research aimed to find out consumption pattern and level of satisfaction of household consumers on “Palas” rice. The research was done in South Lampung with a survey method. The data was collected in Mei 2018. The technique used for sampling was nonprobability sampling with 40 respondents. The analysis methods used were descriptive analysis, Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The research showed that the household consumers of “Palas” rice consumed 9.12 kg per month. They consume “Palas” rice because the quality of “Palas” rice is quite good such as the color, the cleanliness, and the price. The CSI value obtained is 73,60 percent which is in satisfying category. According to the results of IPA attributes that should be top priorities are taste and texture of rice.Key words: Consumption, Customer Satisfaction, “Palas” rice

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the income of fisherman, structure of household income and analyze the welfare level of fishermen households in the Coastal Kota Agung.  The study is conducted by survey method.  The samples are taken by purposive sampling as many as 23 people. The result showed that the income of household owners and crew members was at a level of prosperity. The income of fishermen households was mostly (95.63%) from fishing businesses. Expenditures of the owner's fishermen and crew members were above the poverty line. Based on BPS criteria and poverty line, fishing boat motorbike households <5GT were in a prosperous condition. Key words : expenditures, crew, fisherman, welfare

Abstract

This study aims to determine the consumer characteristics, consumer attitudes, and consumer satisfaction of branded and unbranded tempeh in Bandar Lampung. The research is conducted at Pasir Gintung Market. The research samples are 78 people chosen by nonprobability sampling. The data is analyzed by descriptive qualitative, The Multi-attribute Fishbein Models, Customer Satisfaction Index and Importance Performance Analysis. The results showed that the branded and unbranded tempeh consumers were mostly housewives aged 36-50 years old with family income ranging from Rp3,500,000.00-5,000,000.00/month. More than 50 percent consumers were Javanese living in distance of 0-3 km from the market and bought tempeh in the morning. The results showed that consumer gave the highest attitude scored to the cleanliness attribute of branded tempeh and the taste attribute of unbranded tempeh. The level of consumer satisfaction of branded tempeh and unbranded tempeh were 79.39 percent and 80.47 percent included to the satisfied categories. The performance of product attributes of branded tempeh has beed in accordance with the wishes of consumers. Whereas, the attributes of product cleanliness and product purity of the unbranded tempeh was needed to be improved.Key words: attitude, consumers, satisfaction, tempeh

Abstract

 This study aims were to determine the replanting model used by oil palm farmers, to calculate the replanting cost, to know the opportunity lost  income, and to analyze  the level of welfare of farmers during replanting in Central Lampung Regency.  The sampling technique was a survey.  The study was conducted in three districts, Anak Tuha District, Bangun Rejo District, and Sendang Agung District.  The respondents were 31 oil palm farmers consisting of 6 respondents from Anak Tuha District, 21 respondents from Bangun Rejo District, and 4 respondents from Sendang Agung District.  The data collection was carried out in March-May 2019. The results showed tha the replanting model used by oil palm farmers in Central Lampung Regency was the intercropping model with food crops and the underplanting model.  The costs of replanting during the first 3 years when the palm trees are not productive yet were IDR45,481,990 per hectare on the intercropping model and IDR 48,146,117 per hectare on the underplanting model.  The average value of oil palm opportunity lost income the intercropping model with food crops was IDR7,672,043 per hectare.  The average household income of oil palm farmers was IDR19,489,145 per year.  The level of welfare of farmers during replanting in Central Lampung Regency in general is in a fairly decent condition.
