Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang kompetensi sosial guru yang ditinjau pada aspek komptensi berkomunikasi, kemampuan bergaul secara efektif dengan peserta didik serta kemampuan guru menggunakan teknologi dan informasi secara fungsional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Pulau Punjung yang berjumlah 568 orang, dan penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik proporsional random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dan memperoleh sampel yang sebanyak 85 orang, dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa angket dengan model Skala Likert, dan untuk pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas angket dibantu dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 28.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi sosial guru, dilihat dari aspek: (1) kemampuan guru dalam berkomunikasi berada pada kategori mampu dengan skor rata-rata 4,35; (2) kemampuan guru bergaul secara efektif dengan siswa ada pada kategori sangat mampu dengan capaian nilai yaitu 4,55; (3) kemampuan memakai teknologi dan informasi secara fungsional ada pada kategori mampu dengan capaian nilai yaitu sebesar 4,05. Secara keseluruhan disimpulkan persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi sosial ada pada ketegori mampu dengan capaian nilai yaitu sebesar 4,31.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan, sekolah sangat perlu bantuan sarana pendidikan. Sarana pendidikan ialah alat-alat pendidikan yang sangat diperlukan, tanpa adanya sarana yang mendukung maka proses pendidikan tidak berjalan semestinya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pengelolaan, sarana pembelajaran yang ada di sekolah SMK Nusatama Padang tersebut masih belum terkelola dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi guru terhadap pengadaan, pendistribusian, penyimpanan, pemeliharaan, penghapusan, dan pengawasan sarana pembelajaran di SMK Nusatama Padang. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang terdapat pada penelitian ini yaitu 58. Karena jumlah populasi ada 58 guru, maka semua populasi dijadikan sampel. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah angket model skala Likert yang sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) sarana pembelajaran dilihat dari aspek pengadaan dengan kategori cukup dan skor rata-rata 3,34; 2) sarana pembelajaran dilihat dari aspek pendistribusian dengan kategori cukup dan skor rata-rata 3,47; 3) sarana pembelajaran dilihat dari aspek penyimpanan dengan kategori baik dan skor rata-rata 3,76; 4) sarana pembelajaran dilihat dari aspek pemeliharaan dengan tingkatan cukup dan angka rata-rata yang didapat 3,14; 5) sarana pembelajaran dilihat dari aspek penghapusan dengan tingkatan cukup dan angka rata-rata yang didapat 3,41; 6) sarana pembelajaran dilihat dari aspek pengawasan dengan tingkatan cukup dan angka rata-rata yang didapat 3,44.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pada penelitian ini populasi berjumlah 40 orang peawai Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Payakumbuh. Dan keseluruhan populasi menjadi sampel. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket dengan model skala Likert. Metode analisis data menggunakan rumus statistik dengan analisis deskriptif dengan aplikasi Microsoft Office Excel 2007 dan SPSS versi 21.0. Dari hasil pengolahan data tersebut diperoleh bahwa untuk nilai-nilai yang berlaku di dalam organisasi memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,94 dengan TCR 68,54%; untuk kepercayaan atau keyakinan pegawai terhadap organisasi memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,21 dengan TCR 84,05 %; untuk perilaku anggota organisasi skor rata-rata 3,85 dengan TCR 73,59%. Skor rata-rata secara keseluruhan adalah 4 dengan TCR 75,39 %. Dari hasil ini dapat diberi kesimpulan budaya organisasi di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil cukup baik. Jadi budaya organisasi perlu ditingkatkan lagi menjadi sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tujuannya untuk menelusuri tentang strategi guru dalam pembinaan karakter peserta didik di UPT SD Negeri 26 Painan Selatan. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif, informan dalam penelitian melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, dan teknik dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan disiplin dilakukan melalui tiga jalur, yaitu: 1) Bentuk pembinaan pendidikan karakter peserta didik di UPT SD Negeri 26 Painan Selatan, 2) Strategi guru dalam pembinaan pendidikan karakter peserta didik di UPT SD Negeri 26 Painan Selatan adalah keteladanan, pembiasaan, memberikan pendampingan atau pengawasan yang dilakukan pada setiap kegiatan belajar mengajar sehari-hari, dan 3) Faktor pendukung pembinaan pendidikan karakter peserta didik di UPT SD Negeri 26 Painan Selatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari suatu strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan Efisien dalam mengajarkan materi Program Linier bagi siswa program IPA6 di SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur dengan cara mengaktifkan siswa pada pembelajarann. Strategi dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan melalui 2 siklus dan pada setiap siklus meliputi kegiatan perencanaan , pelaksanaan , observasi dan refleksi. Sedang untuk mengaktifkan siswa dalam penelitian ini , peneliti menggunakan lembar kerja yang diberikan kepada siswa dalam kelompok besar dan kelompok kecil. Yang menjadi subjek pada penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas XI program IPA6 SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur sedang objeknya adalah pembelajaran materi Program Linier pada mata pelajaran Matematika yang diajarkan dengan cara mengaktifkan siswa dalam kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Dari penelitian yang diadakan dengan meneliti kondisi awal siswa yang diukur dengan alat tes tertulis dan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus terlihat adanya peningkatan hasil yang dicapai siswa dalam menguasai materi Program Linier yang diberikan. Peningkatan penguasaan materi ini mulai dari siklus I siswa dapat meningkat sebesar 30 % dari kondisi awal sedang dari kondisi di siklus I setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus II meningkat sebear 50 %. Dari Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini maka peneliti merekomendasikan pada pengambil jabatan ataupun pelaksana pembelajaran dalam hal ini yaitu pengajar untuk mengajarkan materi pembelajaran dalam kelompok kecil dan dengan tehnik mengaktifkan siswa .

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain information about the performance of teachers and development of teachers by principals and relationship development of teachers by principals with teacher’s performance. The .hypothesis proposed in this study is “ there is significant relationship between the development of teacher by the principal and teacher’s performance of Public Senior Hight School in Bukittinggi City”. The population is 271 teachers and sample 152 were taken with Proporstional Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data collected by questionnaire that have tested the validity and reliability. Data analysis used Produch Moment correlation techniques with SPSS version 12.0 in 2007. The results showed that: (a) Performance of teacher is good (83.08% of the ideal score), (b) Development of teachers by principals is quite well (79.33% of the ideal score), (c) there is no significant relationship between teacher’s performance and development of teacher by principals at SMAN Bukittinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find data and information regarding teachers' perceptions and expectations of the school climate in terms of 1) support to students, 2) leadership, 3) student participation, 4) encouragement, 5) clarity of rules, 6) cooperation, 7) care for students, 8) completeness of resources. This research is a descriptive study. The population of this study were all teachers in Vocational High School 5 Padang with a total population of 100 people. This research is a population research, that is, if the subject is more than 100, it is better to use Stratified Proportional Random Sampling, namely the technique of determining the sample using the Slovin formula with the sum of 50 teachers. The research instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert scale model that has been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data were analyzed using the mean (average) formula. Teachers' perceptions and expectations of the school climate in Vocational High School 2 Padang are in the category of good enough perception with an average score of 3.4 while expectations are in the good category with an average score of 4.1.

Abstract

This research was based on the problems that researchers encountered in the UPT SMPN (06, 17, 28, 30) South Solok related infrastructure that was not in accordance with the infrastructure standards stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education number 24 of 2007. This is to describe the suitability of existing infrastructure in schools with infrastructure standards. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative methods, research data collection using interview techniques, observation, documentation, which is the source of the data in this study is the principal and vice principal in the field of school inventory. Abstract

This reason for this research was based on observations and experiences during the educational field practice related to the teaching skills of students in the field practice program (PPL) of the Department of Educational Administration, Padang State University, State Vocational Schools of Padang City. This research is a quantitative descriptive type which aims to see how the teaching skills performed by PPL students of the Department of Educational Administration, Padang State University according to students’ perceptions. This study has a population of 2891 people who all have studied with PPL students, Department of Educational Administration, State University of Padang. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling technique which obtained 102 people. This research instrument uses a Likert scale questionnaire on teaching skills consisting of 60 items. Data collected online using google form. The data collected is processed to look for an average score. From the results of data processing, it was found that the average score of teaching skills of PPL students in the Department of Educational Administration, State University of Padang in the aspect of learning opening skills was 4,13 with good criteria, the skill of explaining the material was 4,15 with good criteria, the questioning skills were 4,24 with good criteria, the skills to provide reinforcement are 3,86 with good criteria, the skills to manage classes are 4,35 with good criteria, the skills to use various teaching variations are 4,15 with good criteria, the skills to use teaching media are 3,61 with good criteria, the skill of closing learning is 4,33 with good criteria. So according to students in Padang City State Vocational Schools who study with PPL students of the Education Admistration Department, Padang State University at Padang City State Vocational High School have been carried out well.

Abstract

One of the special education services in schools is school health services or commonly referred to as School Health Enterprises, hereinafter abbreviated as UKS. Which is the purpose of the UKS service, namely to provide health services to students who come to receive health services from school health officials. The purpose of this research is that the author wants to find data related to student views on UKS services at Padang City State Engineering Vocational Schools for the 2019/2020 year of entry as many as 2,085 people. The sample was determined by using the stratified proportional random sampling technique and obtained a sample of 97 respondents. Data were collected in this study by means of a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the formula mean (mean). Obtaining data analysis shows that the views of students on the School Health Business services provided by UKS officers at the State Technical Vocational School of Padang City can be seen from the indicator (1) the service time gets a good scale, namely at the number 3.92. (2) the service procedure obtained a good scale, namely at 3.99. (3) politeness obtains a good scale, namely at the number 4.04. (4) reliability of obtaining a good scale, namely at the number 4.02. (5) service certainty gets a good scale, namely at 3.99. It can be concluded that the students' views on the School Health Business services at the State Technical Vocational School of Padang City showed a good scale, namely obtaining a score of 3.99.
