Abstract

ABSTRACTOrganizational commitment and extra role behavior of the employees in the workplace is needed by every institution for service excellent to stakeholders and can be implemented very well. Many factors influence the organizational commitment and extra role of the employee. Among them are leadership style and organizational culture. This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. The data was collected by distributing 115 questionnaires to the employee of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Universitas Indonesia. Analytical tool used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that transformational leadership style did not affect organizational commitment; furthermore organizational culture had a significant influence on organizational commitment. Transformational leadership had an influence on the organizational citizenship behavior, organizational culture did not affect organizational citizenship behavior, and organizational commitment had a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. ABSTRAKKomitmen organisasi dan sikap ekstra peran karyawan dalam bekerja sangat dibutuhkan oleh setiap institusi agar pelayanan terhadap pemangku kepentingan dapat dilaksanakan dengan sangat baik. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi komitmen dan sikap ekstra peran pada karyawan. Diantaranya adalah gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan budaya organisasi terhadap komitmen organisasi dan perilaku kewargaan organisasi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran sebanyak 115 kuesioner kepada karyawan tenaga kependidikan Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Indonesia. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional tidak mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi, budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi, budaya organisasi tidak mempengaruhi perilaku kewargaan organisasi, dan komitmen organisasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThe research objective is to analyze the suitability of the design of the remuneration system in three PTNbh with preparation stages and principles of remuneration and evaluate the system of socialization and information systems used in the application of the remuneration of the three PTNbh. This research was conducted in three PTNbh located in Jakarta (PTNbh X), West Java (PTNbh Y) and East Java (PTNbh Z) using primary data obtained from in-depth interviews and secondary data derived from the literature, previous research, laws and regulations, government regulations and decrees that are relevant to the implementation of the remuneration of PTNbh. This study used a descriptive approach qualitative analysis benchmarking method. In the preparation of the remuneration system, which first assigned PTNbh not follow the stages of preparation with good remuneration, whereas previously PTNbh derived from State BLU more likely to obey the principle and the preparation of their remuneration has been prepared in detail based on the principles of remuneration and government regulations.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian rancangan sistem remunerasi di tiga PTNbh dengan tahapan dan prinsip penyusunan remunerasi dan mengevaluasi sistem sosialisasi serta sistem informasi yang digunakan dalam penerapan remunerasi pada tiga PTNbh.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di tiga PTNbh yang berada di DKI Jakarta (PTNbh X), Jawa Barat (PTNbh Y) dan Jawa Timur (PTNbh Z) dengan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari wawancara mendalam serta data sekunder yang berasal dari studi pustaka, penelitian terdahulu,  peraturan pemerintah yang berlaku dan surat keputusan yang relevan dengan penerapan remunerasi pada PTNbh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis patok duga. Dalam penyusunan sistem remunerasi, PTNbh yang lebih dulu ditetapkan belum mengikuti tahapan penyusunan remunerasi dengan baik, sedangkan PTNbh yang sebelumnya berasal dari PTN BLU cenderung lebih taat azas dan penyusunan remunerasinya sudah disusun dengan detil berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip remunerasi dan peraturan pemerintah.

Abstract

ABSTRACTDesigning and managing Industrial capture fisheries Supply Chain is complex and its faces socially bound uncertainties such as poor collaboration, communication and information sharing. Such complexity cannot be reduced through quantitative supply chain design and management techniques.  The aim of this study was design an industrial capture fisheries supply chain in Maluku Province using Soft System Methodology. Multi Dimensional Scaling (MDS)and SCOR was applied in analyzing situational conditions related to the sustainability and performance of industrial capture fisheries. Analysis on capture fisheries shows in less sustainable category (43.91)and  the performance of both fishermen and company indicate an excellent and good grade. SSM analysis generated root definitions: Ministry of Marine Fisheries, Department of Marine, regional institution and stakeholder of the supply chain (O) realize the sustainable fishing industry and implementation of reliable activities in the fisheries sector and competitive globally (W) which integrates all the units along supply chain and coordinate the flow of materials, information and finance ranging from such aspects : production, downstream industries (handling and processing), up to marketing (T) of the Fishermen, industries processing (C) on the entire supply chain through  effective and efficient mechanism (E) as well as coordination both center and regional institution (A) related to quality and standardization of fishery products, distribution, infrastructure, data and information on fisheries (T)". The supply chain management of sustainable fishing industry model was developed by 20 activties. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendisain model manajemen rantai pasok industri perikanan tangkap yang ideal di Propinsi Maluku. Soft System Methodology (SSM) digunakan sebagai pendekatan kajian yang didukung oleh Multi Dimensional Scalling (MDS) untuk mengukur keberlanjutan industri perikanan tangkap dan Supply Chain Operation Reference(SCOR) untuk menganalisis kinerja industri perikanan tangkap.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberlanjutan industri perikanan tangkap berada pada kategori kurang berkelanjutan dan kinerjanelayan dan perusahaan berada pada kategori sangat baik dan baik. Analisis SSM menghasilkan root definition “Kementerian Kelautan Perikanan, Dinas Kelautan, PEMDA dan pelaku rantai pasok (O) mewujudkan industri perikanan tangkap yang berkelanjutan dan terselenggaranya aktivitas  di sektor perikanan yang andal dan mempunyai daya saing secara global (W) yang mengintegrasikan  semua unit dalam rantai pasok dan mengkoordinasikan  aliran material, informasi dan keuangan mulai dari aspek produksi, industri hilir (handling dan processing), hingga ke pemasaran (T) dari para Nelayan, industri-industri pengolah (C) pada seluruh rantai pasok  melalui mekanisme yang efektif dan efisien (E) serta koordinasi kelembagaan pusat dan daerah (A) terkait mutu dan standardisasi produk perikanan, distribusi, sarana prasarana, infrasrtuktur serta data dan informasi perikanan (T)”. Model manajemen rantai pasok industri perikanan tangkap di Propinsi Maluku dibangun atas 20 aktivitas. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this study were 1) analyzing the effect of job relevant information on employee participation; 2) analyzing the effect of social desirability on employee participation; 3) analyzing the effect of job relevant information on employee’s performance; 4) analyzing the effect of social desirability on employee’s performance; 5) analyzing the effect of employee participation on employee’s performance. This study is a part of explanatory and confirmatory research. The samples in this research were 103 employee of PT Harfam jaya Makmur. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that; 1) job relevant information had significant effect on employee’s participation in PT Harfam Jaya Makmur: 2) social desirability has significant effect on employee’s participation in PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 3) job relevant information has significant effect on employee’s performance in PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 4) social desirability hasn’t significant effect on employee’s participation in PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 5) employee’s participation has significant effect on performance of PT Harfam Jaya Makmur Jaya Makmur. The conclusions in this study were job relevant information and social desirability has significant effect on employee’s participation as well as job relevant information has significant effect on employee’s performance. In the other hand, social desirability has no significant effect on employee’s participation, and then employee’s participation has significant effect on performance of PT Harfam Jaya Makmur Jaya Makmur. Keywords: job relevant information, social desire, employee participation, performanceABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan: 1) menganalisis pengaruh informasi relevansi pekerjaan terhadap partisipasi karyawan; 2) menganalisis keinginan sosial terhadap partisipasi karyawan; 3) menganalisis pengaruh informasi relevansi pekerjaan terhadap kinerja karyawan; 4) menganalisis pengaruh keinginan sosial terhadap kinerja karyawan; 5) menganalisis partisipasi karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian initermasuk penelitian explanatory dan confimatory. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan tetap berjumlah 103 orang. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) informasi relevansi pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi karyawan pada PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 2) keinginan sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi karyawan pada PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 3) informasi relevansi pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 4) keinginan sosial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 5) partisipasi karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Harfam Jaya Makmur. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa informasi relevansi pekerjaan dan keinginan sosial berpengaruh signifikan  terhadap partisipasi karyawan, begitu juga dengan informasi relevansi pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, lain halnya dengan keinginan sosial yang tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kemudian partisipasi karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Harfam Jaya Makmur.Kata kunci: informasi relevansi pekerjaan, keinginan sosial, partisipasi karyawan dan kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Transmigration program has been done for many years. However, many transmigration sites are identified as underdeveloped, especially in upland farm transmigration site laboured with food crops. The main constraint for such development relates with the limit of upland resource in supporting plant growth. The upland resources is generally marginal in physical properties (undulating, wavy and hilly topography); the poor quality in land clearing which cause removal upper layer and loss of organic matter; relatively high rainfall intensity which causes the high erosivity. Such degradation has caused accumulation of problem for farmer. This research in erosion is done in order to know the strategy needed to be done. This research is done in Rantau Pandan SP 1 as case study. Several methods have been applied to determine 1) the amount of erosions 2) the permissible erosion, 3) the spatial pattern of erosion,and 4) the soil conservation action.   Key words: upland farming system, erosion, conservation

Abstract

Karet spesifikasi teknis (TSR) merupakan jenis karet alam yang penting, dengan pertumbuhan permintaan yang tinggi dibanding jenis karet alam yang diproduksi dan diekspor oleh Indonesia. TSR paling banyak digunakan sebagai bahan baku untuk industri ban, sehingga dengan tumbuhnya indutri otomotif mendorong peningkatan permintaan terhadap TSR. Namun permasalahan muncul dalam produksi TSR, dimana tingkat  fluktuasi baik karena kelebihan maupun kekurangan produksi sangat berpengaruh terhadap perubahan harga TSR di pasar Internasional. Untuk mengurangi fluktuasi tersebut diperlukan suatu metode untuk memperkirakan tingkat permintaan dan harga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang suatu metode prakiraan yang dapat merperkirakan tingkat harga dan volume permintaan untuk TSR 20.  Prakiraan dilakukan dengan Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan (JST) dengan algoritma propagasi balik, menggunakan data perkembangan pasar TSR di bursa berjangka SICOM. Model JST yang dirancang  mempertimbangkan pola harga, pola permintaan dan interaksi kedua faktor.  Hasil simulasi menunjukkan penggunaan 5 input neuron yaitu: 1) harga tertinggi, 2) harga terendah, 3) harga penutupan, 4) volume permintaan awal, 5) volume permintaan penutupan, 15 neuron pada lapisan tersembunyi dan 2 output yaitu harga dan volume permintaan pada lapisan output. Tingkat akurasi hasil prakiraan harga mencapai 91% dan akurasi prakiraan permintaan 87%. Berdasarkan hasil prakiraan ditentukan status harga dan permintaan. Harga tinggi jika perbedaan antara nilai maksimum dan nilai tengah lebih tinggi dari 47%, harga rendah jika perbedaan antara nilai minimum dan nilai tengah lebih dari 20%.  Prakiraan permintaan dinyatakan tinggi atau rendah jika terjadi peningkatan maupun penurunan sebesar 50 % dari rata-rata permintaan.Abstract Technically Specified Rubber (TSR) is the most important of natural rubber type which has a high demand growth which is produced and exported by Indonesia. TSR is mostly used as raw material for tire industries, as the world’s automotive industries grow up the demand for TSR is also rise up. However, the problem appears in the production of TSR, which is fluctuative production rate in the form of over and under production correlated to the price change in International market.  Therefore, a method to forecast the price and demand level is needed to design in order to reduce fluctuation. The result is a forecasting that used as an input for preparing and adjusting TSR rubber production planning that working adaptively with market condition by utilising the expert knowledge. This research aimed to design a method that can forecast the changes in price level and demand volume. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) which is  backpropagation algorithm that has been designed according to data TSR market condition in SICOM is used in this research, the ANN model is modified by observing the price pattern, demand pattern and the connection between both of them together. Experiments have shown that the optimal architecture network for price and demand forecasting can be obtained by using 5 different neuron parameter, there are: 1) the highest price, 2) the lowest price, 3) the closing price, 4) demand volume interest, 5) demand volume close for input layer, 15 neuron for hidden layer and 2 different neuron there are price and demand volume for output layer. The accuracy of forecasting price had reached 91% and 87% for forecasting demand.  Based on forecasting result had determined the state of price and demand. The price is high if the differences between maximum and mean score is higher than 47% and the price is low if the differences between the minimum and mean score is higher than 20%. The demand is high if the demand forecasting is higher than 50% and it is low if smaller than 50% of average demand volume.

Abstract

Corn flour as one of the products made from corn is an intermediate product. This productcan be consumed directly, also can be used as raw materials in the food industry, feedindustry and other industrial raw materials. In the supply chain system, corn flour industry isa part of the maize supply chain . To maintain the continuity of the flow of raw materials inthe supply chain , the industry needs to provide corn flour that meets quantity with goodquality according to consumer demand . It is closely related to the supply of corn as a rawmaterial for corn flour. The provision of corn are also closely related to the availability ofthe amount of corn production obtained from the farmers. This paper discussed aboutprediction of maize production using artificial neural networks and a statistical forecasting .The input variables of corn production forecast in causal models were land and rainfall,while the output variable was the amount of corn production per month . The forecastingresults would be used as input for the corn flour industry.

Abstract

After the economic crisis in 1997, the growth of Big and Medium Scale Industries (MBI)have been slowing down. The perspective of business returns to SME’s. Meanwhile, the problemsof rubber SME’s products, some of them, have been known as slow technology innovation, slowoutput growth (productivity) and lack of working capital. To maintain the competition in themarket, rubber SME’s products must accompany some strategies, in order to survive in themarket and having a bargaining position. This paper just made a recommendation of a model tooptimize the growth of rubber SME’s products. The spread and diffusion of MBI as a leader torubber SME’s products as follower can be done by making some assumptions which must be doneby both parties. By doing this, rubber SME’sproducts could enhance their function in the economyand thus, They will have a secure market to support the economy and sustainability of economicgrowth. To increase the parameters of productivity can be implemented in some ways. The growthof investment, return of capital, working hours, and the growth of human resources quality can bemaintain as the engine of growth for rubber SME’s products. To perform this, They could dothrough raised of the saving, lower inflation and real costs through government’s policy.Thedevelopment of industry should not be imposed only through MBI. The participation of rubberSME’s products should be in the perspective of the government. As it has been mentioned above,the sustainability growth of rubber SME’sproducts must be integrated with the growth of MBI.The government should realize that most of Indonesia population works in this sector, thereforethe growth of this sector will be the locomotive engine of people’s economy.

Abstract

Gliserol adalah hasil samping dari proses transesterifikasi dari minyak kelapa sawit untukmenghasilkan biodiesel, dalam meningkatnya produksi biodisel tersebut maka akan meningkat pulaproduksi gliserol tersebut. Dengan peningkatan itu maka harga gliserol akan menurun dan tidak adanilai jual, oleh karena itu akan membahayakan lingkungan karena akan dapat menjadi limbah.
