Abstract

The Classroom Action Research aims to find out physics learning based on science-Islamic integration can improve learning outcomes and foster the Islamic character of class XI RPL 1 SMK Takhassus Al-Quran. The Action research is done in two cycles namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation of corrective action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The Research Instrument through Test for learning result data, Observation to observe the implementation of learning and questionnaire of religious attitude and social attitude and Documentation. The results of research shows the application of physics-based learning science-Islamic integration can improve learning outcomes, religious and social attitudes. The Percentage mastery is 74 to 90. Religious attitudes is increased from 72 to 79 and social attitudes is increased from 67 to 76 as evidenced by indicators not cheating or giving cheat and reporting learning activities in a transparent manner. The implementation of learning-based integration of science-Islamic can improve learning outcomes and Islamic characters in the form of honesty and cooperation of students on the physics in the concept of fluid. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas bertujuan mengetahui pembelajaran fisika berbasis integrasi sains-islami dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar serta menumbuhkan karakter islami siswa kelas XI RPL 1 SMK Takhassus Al-Qur’an. Penelitian tindakan dilakukan dua siklus yakni: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan perbaikan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Instrumen Penelitian melalui Tes untuk data hasil belajar, Observasi untuk mengamati pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan angket sikap religious dan sikap sosial serta Dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan penerapan pembelajaran fisika berbasis integrasi sains-islami dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, sikap religius dan sikap sosial. Prosentase ketuntasan 74 menjadi 90. Sikap religius meningkat dari 72 menjadi 79 serta sikap sosial meningkat dari  67 menjadi 76 yang dibuktikan dengan indicator tidak mencontek atau memberikan contekan serta melaporkan kegiatan belajar secara transparan. Penerapan pembelajaran berbasis integrasi sains-islami dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan karakter islami berupa kejujuran dan kerjasama siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika konsep fluida.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan SETS dan konvensional terhadap prestasi belajar, (2) Perbedaan pengaruh motivasi berprestasi tinggi dan motivasi berprestasi rendah terhadap prestasi belajar, (3) Interaksi antara pendekatan SETS dan konvensional terhadap prestasi belajar. Desain penelitian adalah factorial, Sampel diambil secara Proporsional stratified random sampling di SMPN 4 Sapuran. Adapun hasil Penelitian berdasarkan teknik uji hipotesis 1 (FA = 6.196>Ftab = 3,970 pada taraf signifikasi 5%) artinya, ada perbedaan pengaruh antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran dengan pendekatan SETS dan pembelajaran konvensional. Hipotesis 2, dari perhitungan didapatkan hasil bahwa (FB 11,221>Ftab = 3,970 pada taraf signifikasi 5%), maka HoB ditolak, ada pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan SETS dan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap prestasi belajar. Hipotesis 3 didapatkan FAB = 0, 071< Ftab= 3,970, maka Ho diterima, sehingga tidak ada interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestasi siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini berarti penggunaan SETS dapat meningkatkan pola pikir anak menjadi lebih berkembang dan pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan.The objectives of this research are: (1) To know the effect of SETS and conventional approach to learning achievement, (2) the difference of high achievement motivation and low achievement motivation toward learning achievement, (3) the interaction between SETS and conventional approach to learning achievement. The research design is factorial, Sample was taken proportional stratified random sampling in SMPN 4 Sapuran. The results of the study based on hypothesis 1 test technique (FA = 6.196> Ftab = 3.970 at 5% significance level) means that there is a difference of influence between students who are given learning with SETS approach and conventional learning. Hypothesis 2, from the calculation of the results, obtained that (FB 11,221> Ftab = 3.970 at 5% significance level), then HoB rejected, there is the influence of SETS approach and conventional learning to learning achievement. Hypothesis 3 obtained FAB = 0, 071 <Ftab = 3.970, then Ho accepted, so there is no interaction between learning approach and student achievement motivation on student achievement. This means the use of SETS can improve the mindset of children to be more developed and learning more fun.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sains abad ke- 21 melalui Objek Wisata dan Makanan Khas Wonosobo dalam memahami konsep dan fakta sains secara kontekstual sekaligus mengenalkan budaya dan keunggulan lokal. Jenis penelitian R&D Barg and gall. Teknik purposive sampling dengan mempertimbangkan sekolah kategori wilayah kota, Madya dan Desa. Pengumpulan data dengan metode tes, metode angket, observasi serta wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan uji t test hipotesis menunjukan pengembangan bahan ajar fisika berorientasi keterampilan sains abad ke-21 melalui Keunggulan Lokal efektif dalam menentukan kemampuan Berpikir Kritis (Cs-1) sebesar 82.5%, Kreatvitas (Cs-2) sebesar 72.5%, Kerjasama dan kolaborasi (Cs-3) sebesar 81%, Komunikasi Efektif (Cs-4) sebesar 77.5% serta Literasi IT (Cs-5) sebesar 75%. Bahan ajar mendapat respon siswa sebesar 87% kategori sangat baik dan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 88% serta peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 0.37 N gain. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan mampu merekonstruksi konsep sains yang ada sebagai sumber belajar fisika sehingga dapat mengukur keterampilan sains abad 21 dari Cs-1 sampai dengan Cs-5.

Abstract

There are various local potentials such as garden, playground, pool, and field. They can be used as laborotories and sources of contextual learning. This research aims to implement RKH (Rencana Kegiatan Harian/ Plan Daily Activities) based on local potentials developed to improve the result of teaching and learning process and students’ soft skill as well. This reseach and development is adapted from Borg and Gall (2003) combined with Sugiyono (2010). Product validation stage results RKH which deserves to be implemented. Date gathering uses tes, questionnaire, soft skill performance, observing the communicatoin skill, teaching and learning process, and interview. This research makes some results. RKH based on local potentials gives information about pontentials in local area. In addition, it can be developed to be creative idea in order to improve the students’ capability in asking questions. Approximately 81% of the students give good respons. They are interested in RKH water and air, flood, and volcano eruption, so they understand the science easily and they are motivated to know more about science. The students’ soft skill is getting improvement. The result of learning is 0.36 better. Meanwhile, coefficient t test hypothesis related varians with thit> ttabel (t1=2,07>1,99; t2=4,17>1,99; t3=2,34>1,99; t4=5,34>1,99;) shows that RKH science based on local potentials for PAUD is well-developed effectivelly to improve the result of learning and soft skill.

Abstract

Prospective Elementary School Teachers have difficulty in understanding the science concepts. Beside, they are generally low in curiosity, passive in discussion, and lack of collaboration on microteaching activities. This study aims to: (1) Reveal how to apply the experimental-based LSQ learning model on microteaching activities for elementary school teacher candidates; (2) Examine the increase in curiosity and understanding the concept of science. The method used is a Quasi-experiment method with purposive sampling technique. The sample are 31 elementary school teacher candidates from Universitas Sains Al Quran, Wonosobo, Indonesia. The data about understanding the concept was collected through a test with 30 questions. The data about curiosity was collected by questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed that there is an increase in the understanding of the concept based on the gain test of 0.3. Furthermore, based on the t-test of 4.01 and t-table of 1.99 (tcount t-table = 4.01 1.99), LSQ model is effective in increasing the curiosity. Curiosity through the four main skills found, namely: questioning skills, reinforcement, explanation skills, and classroom management. The average result of the competency percentage on LSQ learning is 72% (medium category). LSQ is strongly recommended to be applied by prospective elementary school teachers.

Abstract

The natural and socio-cultural environment of the Wonosobo community has various potentials that can be explored and developed to support the science learning process. Pranotomongso is a form of culture used by farmers to cultivate nature. This study aims to determine the application of ethnoscience-based integrated science learning to foster environmental awareness and student creativity. This research is a quantitative study using the True Experimental method, with a Posttest Only Control Design, the sampling technique is random sampling. The instruments used for data collection were tests and questionnaires to measure creativity and environmental awareness. The data analysis technique used one-party t-test. The results showed that ethnoscience-based integrated science learning can foster environmental awareness and student creativity and can improve environmental care and student creativity in ethnoscience-based integrated science learning, in the medium category. This research is very useful in showing how science works in society, and it is more applicable.

Abstract

Pentingnya menggali usaha kreatif melalui COKSACAR (Coklat Sari Carica) yang dijadikan sebagai alternative solusi untuk mengatasi kejenuhan buah carica yang hanya dibuat sebagai makanan ringan seperti manisan dan kripik saja. Kegiatan Kewirausahaan dilakukan untuk: 1) Melatih kreativitas dan keterampilan dalam menciptakan inovasi baru yang berbahan baku Potensi lokal buah carica melalui kajian edupreneurscience (Sains dan ekonomi); 2) Menyajikan buah carica yang berbeda dari lainnya dengan tambahan variasi rasa, sehingga dapat menghilangkan kejenuhan cemilan buah yang biasanya; dan 3)Membuka peluang usaha baru untuk memperoleh laba yang nantinya bisa membuka lapangan pekerjaan. Metode penelitian melalui tahap persiapan produksi pada alat dan bahan; proses produksi dengan mengkaji edupreneurscience; dan pemasaran melalui analisis SWOT dan Mix Marketing 4P. Berdasarkan kegiatan kewirausahaan menunjukan bahwa: 1) Produk COKSACAR memanfaatkan potensi lokal Wonosobo dalam meningkatkan nilai jual buah carica serta dapat dikaji melalui viskositas sari carica dan potensi pengembangan usaha; 2) Terciptanya kegiatan kewirausahaan Produksi COKSACAR beraneka rasa meliputi rasa original, mocca, Green tea dan vanilla dengan rasa sari carica sehingga dapat menghilangkan kejenuhan dalam mengkonsumsi buah carica pada umumnya; dan 3)Menghasilkan pendapatan, peluang usaha baru serta mengurangi jumlah pengangguran karena pengembangan usaha yang berkelanjutan.
