Abstract

Saat ini game online menjadi permainan yang sangat digemari oleh sebagaian besar anak di Indonesia. Tidak hanya di daerah perkotaan saja, tetapi di pelosok desa pun saat ini mudah mendapatkan jaringan internet untuk kelancaran mengoperasikan game online. Handphone, notebook dan laptop menjadi piranti yang sering digunakan oleh anak untuk mengoperasikan game online. Harapannya kemudahan yang di dapatkan untuk mengoperasikan game online bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai hiburan saat anak jenuh dengan rutinitas sehari-hari tetapi kenyataannya justru membuat anak menjadi ketergantungan, hal ini terlihat dari banyak anak yang akhirnya berperilaku kompulsif, tak acuh pada sekitar, banyak meluangkan waktu untuk game online, atau disebut dengan mengalami kecanduan game online. Teman sebaya yang memiliki kriteria menjadi konselor sebaya bisa menjadi salah satu personel yang dipandang sangat tepat sebagai tokoh yang mampu membantu mereduksi kecanduan game online. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah mengetahui peran konselor sebaya untuk mereduksi kecanduan game online. Metodologi penulisan dalam artikel ini berorientasi pada pendekatan kualitatif, dengan merujuk pada beberapa kajian pustaka, yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif.

Abstract

This article describes the concept of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy in building Self- Esteem for slow learner children. The REBT concept helps clients learn to challenge irrational thinking and develop thinking habits in practical and rational ways. This shift allows the individual to have a more effectively and ultimately experience healthy emotions. Descriptive research including library research using comparative studies of systems or concepts. The concept used is the A-B-C-D-E-G model in building the Self Esteem of slow learner children. The stages of self-esteem formation with the concept of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy change individual cognitive processes in the form of perception, meaning, judgment, and it plays an essential role in the development and maintaining emotions and behavioral responses. It reduces dissatisfaction with body image and unconditional self-acceptance; accepted beliefs or not being accepted is not something to regret because it is not terrible.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan masalah-masalah pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Perkembangan Peserta Didik, merancang dan mengembangkan prototipe model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan teknik time management untuk menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa, dan menghasilkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan teknik time management untuk menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan melalui 4 tahap, yaitu tahap studi eksplorasi, tahap pengembangan model pembelajaran, tahap pengujian model, dan tahap diseminasi dan sosialisasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut. Pertama, berdasarkan studi eksplorasi diperoleh hasil bahwa menurunnya kualitas pembelajaran mata kuliah Perkembangan Peserta Didik, tingkat prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa tinggi, dan dosen dan mahasiswa membutuhkan model pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa sekaligus bisa menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik Kedua, prototipe model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan teknik time management berisi tentang struktur model (syntax), sistem sosial (social system), prinsip reaksi (principle of reaction), sistem penunjang (support system), dampak instruksional dan pengiring (instructional and nurturant effect). Struktur model (syntax) pembelajaran berbasis proyek dilakukan melalui 6 tahap, yaitu Penentuan Pertanyaaan Mendasar (Start With the Essential Question), Mendesain Perencanaan Proyek (Design a Plan for the Project), Melakukan Jadwal Kegiatan Berbasis Manajemen Waktu (Create a Schedule), Memonitor Siswa dan Kemajuan Proyek (Monitor the Students and the Progress of the Project), Menguji Hasil (Assess the Outcome), dan Mengevaluasi Pengalaman (Evaluate the Experience).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of information services to improve students' career understanding SMA Negeri 1 Wungu. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Wungu with pre-experimental design research design. Technique of collecting data using psychological scale that is scale of understanding of career. Data analysis technique using Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. The result of the research shows that effective information service to improve interpersonal communication of high school students is proven after hypothetical test with Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test technique AsympSig (2-tailed) / asympiotic significance value 0.012, it can be concluded that information service to improve career understanding of SMA Negeri 1 Wungu students Regency of Madiun. It is suggested to improve the guidance and counseling service need to develop guidance and counseling service one of them is information service.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk memaparkan kompetensi guru pendamping siswa ABK di sekolah dasar. Meskipun bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah dasar secara eksplisit telah ditekankan untuk dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar sejak berlakunya PP nomor 28 tahun 1990 tentang Pendidikan dasar, dalam prakteknya pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di Sekolah Dasar masih mengalami banyak hambatan. Salah satu hambatan yang dimaksud adalah belum diangkatnya tenaga khusus bimbingan (konselor) di sekolah dasar oleh pemerintah. Oleh sebab itu, seorang guru di sekolah dasar diharapkan mampu memahami secara lebih luas tentang arti sekolah inklusi yang juga berarti melibatkan seluruh siswa tanpa kecuali, termasuk (1) Anak yang menggunakan bahasa ibu, dan bahasa minoritas yang berbeda dengan bahasa pengantar yang digunakan di dalam kelas, dan atau berbeda dengan bahasa yang digunakan di dalam buku-buku pelajaran dan bacaan yang digunakan; (2) Anak yang beresiko putus sekolah karena korban bencana, konflik, bermasalah dalam sosial ekonomi, daerah terpencil, atau tidak berprestasi dengan baik, (3) Anak yang beresiko putus sekolah karena kesehatan tubuh yang rentan/penyakit kronis seperti, dan (4) Anak yang berusia sekolah tetapi tidak bersekolah.

Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CAREER INFORMATION SERVICES TO IMPROVE CAREER PLANNING FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. High School Education aims to prepare students who will continue their education to a higher level, while preparing students who will work immediately if they have completed their education in high school. Experiencee in the field shows that there are still many students who are confused about choosing the department (study program) to be entered, especially for high school students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of information services to improve career planning for students of SMA Negeri 1 Nglames. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Nglames with pre-experimental design research design. Data collection techniques use a psychological scale that is the scale of career planning. Data analysis techniques using t-test. The results showed effective information services to improve career planning proved after a hypothetical test with the t-test analysis technique of the value of asympsig (2-tailed)/asympiotic significance 0.000, it can be concluded that information services to improve career planning of students of SMA Negeri 1 Nglames Kabupaten Madiun.

Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PEER COUNSELING TO REDUCE ONLINE GAME ADDICTION IN MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS. The ease of using the internet is currently widely used by teenagers to operate online games. Online games are games that can be played together through a network. The high frequency of online game usage results in teens experiencing online game addiction. Friends are people outside the family who can provide comfort for teenagers. Through peer counseling, they hope to be able to exchange ideas and assess which actions are necessary or not to take. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of peer counseling to reduce online game addiction in students. The method used in this research is experimental research. The design of this study was pre-experimental design. The sampling technique in this study used porposive sampling where the sample was selected by students who were addicted to online games. Based on the sig (2-tailed) value of 0,000 which is <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference between the pretest and posttest scores or effective peer counseling to reduce online game addiction in students.

Abstract

EFFECTIVENESS OF RATIONAL EMOTIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY COUNSELING TO REDUCE NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of rational counseling emotional behavior therapy to reduce narcissistic personality disorder. This research method is an experiment with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design method. The subjects of this study were students of SMA Negeri 4 Madiun who had a high level of narcissistic personality disorder. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling, namely the selection of research samples based on the research objectives. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used a different test or t test. The results showed that the Sign 2 tailed value was 0.000 so it could be said as an effective counseling service for Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy to reduce narcissistic personality disorder.

Abstract

Students with special needs deserve equal opportunities in terms of careers and jobs. Therefore, they need to prepare well, including having a skill called transferable skill. Transferable skills are considered an essential factor in achieving a career. Transferable skills are life skills that are the basis and need to face a future career. This study describes the transferable skills of students with special needs in terms of the type of special needs, age, and grade level. The study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. This study was conducted at Special Education Schools (Public and Private) in Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Province. Respondents of the study were students of classes X and XI. Transferable skills are measured using a scale developed with three aspects: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor—a test of the validity and reliability of the instrument was also carried out. Descriptive statistics and Kruskal-Wallis Test analyzed data. The results of descriptive and comparative data analysis are presented in the findings section of the study. The Kruskal-Wallis test showed a significant difference in the average transferable skill score based on the type of special needs and grade level. At the same time, the age factor did not provide a significant difference. The results of this study have implications for the design of transferable skills development programs for students with special needs to enter the workplace or the social environment after graduating from Special Education School.Future research is expected to examine a broader range of respondents covering all categories of special needs, not only students with hearing impairment, intellectual disability, and autistic, as in this study.

Abstract

Setiap anak memiliki keistimewaan, baik yang bersifat berupa kelebihan maupun keterbatasan. Anak yang memiliki keterbatasan atau disebut dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus memiliki hak untuk mendapatkan kehidupan yang sama seperti anak lainnya. Dalam menjalani kehidupannya yang lebih mandiri di masa depan anak berkebutuhan khusus memerlukan dukungan dari orang yang ada di sekitarnya salah satunya adalah orang tua. Untuk mendapatkan kehidupan yang lebih baik anak perlu memahami keadaan dirinya, potensi yang ada di dalam diri dan berbagai informasi untuk merencanakan sebuah karir yang akan datang. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan orang tua dengan perencanaan karir anak berkebutuhan khusus di Kota Madiun. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 45 anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig 2 tailed sebesar 0,00 0,005 maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan orang tua terhadap perencanaan karir anak berkebutuhan khusus
