Abstract

Kebar memiliki padang penggembalaan yang sangat luas (1500 ha) akan tetapi tidak dikelola dengan baik dan hanya mampu menampung 2 ekor sapi potong dengan bobot badan 250 kg. Pada tahun 2011, distrik ini ditetapkan sebagai kawasan lumbung ternak sapi potong dan kawasan sejuta ranch. Akan tetapi padang penggembalaan ini didominasi hijauan pakan dengan kualitas yang rendah sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya bobot badan sapi potong yang dicapai pada umur produktif. Produktivitas sapi potong yang tidak maksimum juga disebabkan oleh rendahnya keterampilan masyarakat dalam pemeliharaan sapi potong yang baik dan benar. Masyarakat belum memahami dengan benar bagaminana manajemen pemeliharaan sapi akibat adanya pergeseran budaya dari pemeliharaan ternak babi ke pemeliharaan ternak sapi potong. Peningkatkan keterampilan peternak dalam memelihara sapi potong dapat dilakukan antara lain melalui kegiatan KKN tematik. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengintroduksikan hijauan unggul dengan teknik budidaya yang mudah, murah dan ramah lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan positif dalam pemeliharaan sapi potong dari pola ekstensif menjadi semi intensif. Petani target mulai membuat kandang dan menanam rumput unggul untuk kebutuhan pakan sapi potong. Antusiasme masyarakat terhadap kegiatan penyuluhan, demplot dan pelatihan semakin meningkat dengan kehadiran petani dalam setiap kegiatan pendampingan. Transfer pengetahuan antar petani juga dilakukan dari satu kampung ke kampung lain yang tidak terjangkau kegiatan KKN tematik.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The supply DOC of super free-range chicken in Southeast Sulawesi until now still comes from outside. This causes the DOC price to be quite high due to the high cost of transportation in the distribution process. In addition, the pandemic period also made the situation more difficult to obtain DOC from outside which had an impact on the lack of supply of super free-range chicken. Therefore, it is necessary to independently procure a source of DOC for free-range chicken. This community service aims to provide a source of information and training in the use of AI technology and the use of feed based on local feed ingredients to the community through the FPT-UHO Village Development Program. This service is carried out in a group of native chicken farmers in Mokoau Village, Kambu sub-district, Kendari City by involving various components such as community leaders, youth and government officials. This activity is carried out by means of online and offline presentations and training. The results obtained in this service are in the form of DOC (according to standards), free-range chickens that have a high body weight, free-range chicken feed based on local feed resources, scientific articles and theses. Based on the results of this activity, it can be concluded that the FPT-UHO village development program is able to improve the ability of farmers to utilize AI technology and feed processing technology based on local feed ingredients. Keywords: DOC; feed; Livestock; Super free-range chicken; Technology ABSTRAK Pasokan DOC ayam kampung super di Sulawesi Tenggara hingga saat ini masih berasal dari luar. Hal ini mengakibatkan harga DOC cukup tinggi karena mahalnya biaya transportasi dalam proses ditribusinya. Selain itu masa pandemi juga menjadikan situasi lebih sulit untuk memperoleh DOC dari luar yang berdampak pada kurangnya pasokan daging ayam kampung super. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pengadaan sumber DOC ayam kampung secara mandiri. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sumber informasi dan pelatihan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi IB dan pemanfaatan pakan berbasis bahan pakan lokal kepada masyarakat melalui Program Bina Desa FPT-UHO. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di kelompok peternak ayam kampung di Kelurahan Mokoau, kecamatan Kambu, Kota Kendari dengan melibatkan berbagai komponen seperti tokoh masyarakat, pemuda dan aparat pemerintah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan cara persentasi dan pelatihan secara daring dan luring. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam pengabdian ini berupa DOC (sesuai dengan standar), ayam kampung yang memiliki bobot badan yang tinggi, pakan ayam kampung berbasis sumber daya pakan lokal, artikel ilmiah dan skripsi. Berdasarkan hasil kegian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa program bina desa FPT-UHO mampu meningkatkan kemampuan peternak untuk memanfaatkan teknologi IB dan teknologi pengolahan pakan berbasis bahan pakan lokal. Abstract

Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) are all health behaviors that are carried out with awareness so that family or family members can help themselves in the health sector and play an active role in health activities in the community. This community service program is motivated by limited access to information, transportation and health in rural areas of Kampung Pemekaran Mister Ngiosi Manokwari causing a lack of understanding and application of a clean and healthy lifestyle by children, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. To overcome this gap, it is necessary to disseminate information about clean and healthy living behavior in children. Activities on PHBS are using interactive learning in the form of lectures and giving some questions related to the PHBS and reward, demonstration related to preventing the transmission of Covid-19. The results of the activity showed that about 80% of the children could carry out 11 steps of hand washing activity well. In terms of healthy food, 100% of the children finished the given food.

Abstract

Sidey Baru is one of the villages located in Manokwari Regency, near the beach and found Pandan Tikar (Pandanus tectorius Park.) plant, which has not been utilized. Pandan Tikar fruit contains good nutrition to be developed as a food ingredient that can increase the added value of the product. This community service activity aims to be able to increase community skills in processing pandan fruit into flour and its derivative products, to be able to meet family needs and can also be marketed to improve the community's economy. This community service activity was carried out in the form of direct training with the people of the village of Sidey Baru, especially women from the PKK organization, business groups, and village officials, with the hope that the community could produce flour and cookies from Pandan Tikar fruits in a sustainable manner so that it could help improve the community's economy. The training on making fruit flour and cookies from pandan mat fruit is very attractive to the people of Kampung Sidey Baru, because the raw materials are easy to obtain and made with simple technology. Overall, participants were able to take part in the training and material training well, so it is hoped that the knowledge and skills gained from the training can be enjoyed by other people. Efforts to increase the added value of Pandan tikar fruit into various highly competitive products can be realized through continuous guidance and assistance by Sidey village officials together with the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, University of Papua.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The technology of smartphones has made the possibility for humans to do multitasking activities by means of the smartphones. Statistic shows that Android-based smartphone users have dominated the usage of smartphones in Indonesia. This paper has reported the activity to create an offline Android application to support worship in several church denominations in Indonesia, and the result is a digital version of the hymns of Mazmur & Nyanyian Rohani. This application can be downloaded from the Google Play Store by free of both charge and advertising. Data shows that user’s interest has continued to increase since it releases on 27 July 2021 where reaches more than 5000 users by 26 September 2021. Keywords: Android; Mazmur; Nyanyian Rohani; Offline; Smartphone ABSTRAK Teknologi telepon pintar telah memungkinkan manusia melakukan banyak aktifitas hanya dengan sebuah telepon pintar. Data statistik menunjukkan bahwa pengguna smartphone berbasis Android telah mendominasi pemakaian telepon pintar di Indonesia. Kegiatan dilaksanakan untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi Android yang bekerja secara luring untuk menunjang peribadatan pada beberapa denominasi gereja di Indonesia dan hasilnya adalah sebuah versi digital dari kidung pujian Mazmur & Nyanyian Rohani. Aplikasi ini dapat diunduh dari Google Play Store dan dapat digunakan secara cuma-cuma dan bebas dari layanan iklan. Data menunjukkan bahwa minat pengguna yang terus meningkat sejak dirilis pada tanggal 27 Juli 2021 hingga mencapai lebih dari 5000 pengguna pada tanggal 26 September 2021. Abstract

Abstract This activity aims to determine the process of providing Eid al-Adha animal meat in Manokwari Regency, Yogyakarta and Magelang City. Observations of the process were carried out directly which included slaughtering until the meat was packaged in each of the 3 mosques located in Manokwari Regency, Yogyakarta and Magelang City. Data were analyzed descriptively and presented in tables and figures. The number of Eid al-Adha animals slaughtered was 59 cows and 96 goats/sheep with the highest number of Eid al-Adha animals in Yogyakarta. The process of preparing Eid al-Adha animal meat in Manokwari Regency and Magelang City is the same, which consists of slaughtering, peeling, chopping, weighing and packaging. Meanwhile in Yogyakarta there is carcass weighing before chopping. In general, the implementation of the process of preparing Eid al-Adha animal meat in Manokwari Regency, Yogyakarta and Magelang City has endeavored to meet the hygiene and sanitation aspects as an effort to obtain halal and thoyib (good) Eid al-Adha meat. Abstract

Ternak domba di Desa Sriharjo masih dipelihara secara tradisional di pekarangan rumah di kandang berlantai tanah. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pendampingan pembuatan kandang domba sehat di Desa Sriharjo, Kecamatan Imogiri, Kabupaten Bantul. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian adalah 30 peternak anggota kelompok ternak Taruna Tani Hijaunya Cinta, desa Sriharjo. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, studi banding dan dilanjutkan pendampingan peternak membangun kandang sehat. Pemahaman masyarakat terhadap kandang sehat diukur melalui wawancara serta pengisian kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah pengabdian. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah peternak telah berhasil membangun kandang panggung percontohan yang berlokasi di pekarangan yang tidak terlalu dekat dengan rumah penduduk. Hasil survey menunjukkan bahwa sebelum PKM sebanyak 10% dan setelah PKM semua (100%) peternak memahami tentang pengertian dan manfaat kandang sehat. Disimpulkan bahwa kandang domba sehat telah berhasil dibangun dan fungsinya telah dimengerti oleh semua peternak domba di desa Sriharjo.

Kegiatan desa binaan tahun ke-2 ini sebagai bagian dari desa binaan 3 tahun yang bertujuan menjadikan Kemiri Sebagai Kawasan Petenakan Terpadu. Abstract

Slaughtering of sacrificial animals is a worship activity for slaughtering ruminant livestock which is carried out on Eid al-Adha and carried out in mosques or outside Slaughterhouses (RPH). The limited facilities affect the welfare of the animals so that it affects the quality of the meat. Supervision in the production chain with antemortem and postmortem inspections is carried out to obtain good quality meat. This community service aims to help the community get a guarantee of safe, healthy, whole and halal, sacrificial animal meat with antemortem and postmortem examinations, as well as holding counseling on the handling of sacrificial animals and meat during the covid-19 pandemic through webinars. The activity was carried out in 13 mosques in the areas of Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik, and Pasuruan. The antemortem examination will be held on 19-22 July 2021 followed by a post-mortem examination which will be held on 20-22 July 2021 with a total number of 112 cows, 220 goats and 1 sheep. The Webinar was held earlier, namely on July 14, 2021, by 3 competent speakers. The webinar was attended by the general public, mosque takmir, lecturers, and students. The results of the antemortem examination indicated that the animals were suitable for slaughter, although 2–6 (0.6–1.8%) animals showed diarrhea, nasal and eye discharge, and infection of the prepuce. The results of postmortem examination stated that the animals were fit for consumption with a note that the organs infected with worms had to be removed, namely 15.2% of the liver of cattle and 0.9% of the liver of goats with fasciolosis, 0.5% of goats experiencing parampistomiasis and 1.7% of cattle experiencing eurytrematosis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Various efforts have been made by the Indonesian government to reduce the number of positive cases of COVID-19 which is still growing. As a form of participation in preventing the spread of COVID-19, community service activities were carried out to increase public awareness during the pandemic about the importance of vaccination programs in preventing transmission and implementing health protocols and healthy lifestyles. Activities are packaged in the form of counseling and education through distributing brochures, masks, hand sanitizers to residents' homes with the help of several students. The target location is Jalan Haji Ridan RT01/RW01, Poris Plawad Indah Village, Cipondoh District, Tangerang City, Banten Province. From the Budi Luhur University campus, it is approximately 15-20 kilometers. The schedule of activities starts from June 24 to August 1, 2021. The method of implementing this community service activity applies the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method, by filling out a questionnaire to get an assessment from the community of the activity implementers. The result of the assessment from the eyes of the community is 73 out of 100. This means that this activity is quite well received. During this pandemic period, it is possible to carry out community service without gathering residents and continuing to carry out health protocols, and can even play an active role in preventing the COVID-19 pandemic. Keywords: COVID-19; Participatory Rural Appraisal; Vaccination ABSTRAK Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah Indonesia untuk menekan jumlah kasus positif COVID-19 yang hingga saat ini masih terus bertambah. Sebagai wujud partisipasi dalam mencegah penyebaran COVID-19 dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat di masa pandemi tentang pentingnya program vaksinasi dalam mencegah penularan serta menjalankan protokol kesehatan dan pola hidup sehat. Kegiatan dikemas dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan edukasi melalui penyebaran brosur, masker, hand sanitizer ke rumah-rumah warga dengan dibantu oleh beberapa orang mahasiswa. Lokasi sasaran berada di Jalan Haji Ridan RT01/RW01, Kelurahan Poris Plawad Indah, Kecamatan Cipondoh, Kota Tanggerang, Provinsi Banten. Dari kampus Universitas Budi Luhur kurang lebih berjarak antara 15 – 20 kilometer. Jadwal kegiatan dimulai 24 Juni sampai dengan 1 Agustus 2021. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan abdimas ini menerapkan metode PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal), dengan pengisian angket untuk mendapatkan penilaiaan dari masyarakat terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hasil penilaian dari mata masyarakat adalah 73 dari 100. Hal ini berarti kegiatan ini cukup diterima dengan baik. Di masa pandemi ini tidak menutup kemugkinan untuk melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tanpa pengumpulan warga dan tetap menjalankan protokol kesehatan, bahkan bisa berperan aktif dalam pencegahan pandemi COVID-19.
